Organize Your MoxiWebsite Navigation Menu / Quick Tip

Tom Pelton shows how to organize your MoxiWebsite navigation menu in the Agent Website Admin Tool. Drag rows to reorder pages left-to-right, indent them under a parent page, or hide them with the blue button. Hidden pages stay live at their URL but disappear from the menu.

We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you are thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember to check the DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages and artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation. To organize your Moxie website's navigation menu, first navigate to your Agent Website Admin Tool Dashboard from here in the left column, click on Site Pages. The different rows or items on this page represent different web pages or navigation menu items. The simplest way to adjust organization is to drag and drop one of these items into a different location. The order on this page from top to bottom correlates to the order on your Moxie website from left to right. For example, if I wanted my About Me section to show up as the second navigation item on my website, I can hover over that row, left click and then drag that in to another location. You'll notice that I do have other web pages nested under this About Me menu item. To nest webpages under other items. What I can do is simply left click on an item. In this case, I want to put my Facebook menu link underneath my Follow me on Social Media menu item. So I'm going to left click on the first one and then carefully drag it under and to the right of the item I want it to be nested under, and you'll see that that is represented as a slight indent. You may have noticed, when I move a parent menu item, it also moves all of the corresponding menu items associated with it. After I've made these changes, I'm going to scroll down to the bottom and click on Publish. Now. When you visit my website, you'll see that the About Me section is now second from the left and has those corresponding pages nested underneath it, as well as the Follow Me on Social Media item with Facebook nested underneath it. Going back to Site pages in my admin dashboard, I also have the ability to hide certain pages from view. You can see as I am hovering over a menu item, there is a blue button to hide that page. I'm going to hide my link tree. For example, you can see that it is changed to hidden. I'm going to go down to publish and when I refresh my site, you'll see that it no longer appears in view. Do note that hiding a page is different than deleting it as it still has an active website URL. It is just hidden from view on the navigation menu. Sam.
