A short YouTube tutorial mixing compliance guidance and a technical how-to. The speaker first highlights Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) best practices: only contact numbers recently provided, regularly check Do-Not-Call lists when permission is uncertain, never use automated calling/texting platforms or prerecorded/artificial-voice messages, and note personal liability for violations. The second segment is a step-by-step demo showing how to update Business Hours in the web version of Outlook (via mycbdesk.com → Office365 and Email tile → Settings → Calendar → Work Hours and Location), save changes, and then verify availability on the Marketing Specialist booking link.

We appreciate you being here since this program is optional and discusses best practices for your consideration. If you are thinking of adopting any of them, please make sure to review the requirements in your area region with your broker, branch manager, or manager, including those related to contacting consumers. We do want to highlight the importance of the Telephone Consumer Protection act, better known as tcpa. The general rules are that it's okay to call people if the person recently gave you their phone number, but remember the Check that DNC lists regularly if they haven't spoken to that person in a while. You will also want to check the DNC list anytime you don't have permission. Automated calling texting platforms should never be used. Pre recorded messages in artificial voices should never be used. You will be personally liable for any violations of the tcpa. We'll mention the TCPA a few times throughout this presentation.
If you're having trouble viewing your marketing specialist's meeting times through their individual booking links, this demonstration will guide you on how to update your business hours in Outlook. To resolve the issue, log in to mycbdesk.com and click on Email on the Office365 and Email Tile. This will take you to the web version of Outlook. Click on the Settings gear in the upper right corner and find the Calendar tab on the left navigation bar. Select Work Hours and Location from the expanded menu. Enter the hours during which you want your calendar to be available for booking meetings. Please note that these business hours only affect appointment scheduling with CB marketing staff and do not impact anything else. Remember to click Save when you're finished. After updating, please revisit the Marketing Specialist booking link to verify that their availability is now visible.
