In this live‑stream from downtown Tucson, realtor Tony Ray Baker (ABR, CRS, GRI, CLHMS) and co‑host Darren Jones guide viewers through the city’s Dillinger Days festival while delivering a rapid market update. They urge viewers to like the page and interact via comments. The duo highlights a newly listed home that secured a contract within a day, using it to illustrate the current low‑inventory, high‑competition market and the need for aggressive buyer strategies, including leveraging realtor networks to find off‑market properties. The broadcast then shifts to a vivid description of Dillinger Days attractions: classic cars, a full reenactment of John Dillinger’s capture at the historic Hotel Congress, fire trucks, arts and crafts, carnival games, live music, a “Nine Ring Legal Circus” talk, and a 25‑cent screening of Public Enemies. They also preview the upcoming Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. Toward the end, Tony introduces a community decluttering challenge called “30 Things in 30 Minutes,” encouraging viewers to sort items into trash and Goodwill bags. The segment closes with thank‑you remarks and a reminder to stay engaged.

Happy Saturday! Hey, so we're down here in downtown Tucson right now and we're doing Dillinger Days and Darren's gonna tell you all about all the fun and exciting things that are going on today. But first we have a little stuff, a little bit of stuff we want to talk to you about. Some housekeeping. Yes, some housekeeping. Make sure you like us on this page right now and then you can talk to us and communicate with us while we're live. James is on the other side. Say hi, James.
Hey, hey guys!
James is there and he's watching, trying to, and he can't monitor them all, but he's watching as people come in and we get to say hi to you because we love to say hi to you and we appreciate we appreciate everybody that watches. So make sure you like the page and then you can communicate with us. Also, we want to talk today about— so yesterday we were going to talk to you about this really cool house we were listing yesterday, right? Yeah, we're gonna tell you all about this cool house so you can call us about this house, and it's gone.
Wow, it's gone already. They come, they go.
Yeah, so the reason I wanted to bring this up is because we're in a very low inventory market right now, right?
Yes.
And one of the problems that we're seeing is if you're not really aggressive as buyer, it's, it's tough to find a house.
Yeah, you really have to be prepared, right?
And it's going to get noisy in a minute because there's cool cars coming around, so James might want to just show you those cool cars are zooming away.
Uh, again, this is part of Dillinger Days, and you have all of the old cars. We have a reenactment of Dillinger's, uh, that's right.
Yeah, look at that. Uh, um, so let's go back. Uh, so the house we listed, we listed it yesterday, and it's already got a contract on it, right? And so what we want to tell you as a buyer is you need to be very aggressive right now, and that actually means we have to be very aggressive. And what we do is we go out and we search with our real estate friends in the community, and we search for properties to let you know about them before they go on the market. And that's how that has happened, correct?
You find it, you want it, grab it.
So we're going to be a little aggressive now in a low inventory market, but we take care of all that for you. So we just want to bring that to your attention. So we're not going to show you this really cool house today. So I'm gonna let you take over because it's starting to spritz.
Yeah, it is raining in Tucson.
So this weekend we've got Dillinger Days running all day today. The Screening Room has Public Enemies playing for a quarter, and right now Darren's going to tell you— there's a ton of cool cars here right now and people dressed up in cool outfits. So Darren's going to tell you what's going on on Dillinger Days today.
Yep, for those of you who don't know, uh, the historic Hotel Congress is where the infamous Dillinger gang was captured. And yes, we're standing out in the rain, um, but as you can see, they have all of the beautiful old cars. They have a full reenactment of the entire process of the capture. They have old fire trucks. They have everything going on here. Uh, some of the other, uh, items they have going on— there's arts and crafts and carnival games for everybody. There's talks, uh, there's Andy Daddles doing a Nine Ring Legal Circus talk, uh, today. There's live music, a complete real Dillinger reenactment, a couple times a day. So check out the Front Row Seats. There's also the historic, uh, Dillinger historic walking tour. And also, let's see, oh yes, the Screening Room is doing the 25 Cents film screening, really, Public Enemies. So you gotta check it out. Uh, there's a lot going on down here even though it's raining. Um, bring a poncho.
Clear up. Yeah, I love the cars, I love the characters.
You got the gangsters with the Tommy guns. It's just a lot of fun. And Historic Congress Hotel, you can hear them, you can hear them going over, you can hear them talking.
So, okay, so, um, also next week we want to tell— remember the gem show's coming next week, right? Gem show, Tucson Gem and Mineral Show's next week. It's going to be beautiful. I had a picture, but now it's all soggy wet. So that's, that's a gem and mineral— there's a gem and mineral show photo for you right there.
That's fancy.
But, uh, it's, uh, getting wet out here, so, um, this is going to mess up I better bring an umbrella. That's right.
Why?
Why? So we, it's getting louder because they're doing a show over there for Dillinger Days, but I also wanted to talk to you about a little challenge I have for you. So I want, it's called 30 Things in 30 Minutes. I want you to go into your house somewhere, go into a dresser, a closet, a bedroom, wherever, pull 30 things out, take 2 bags, put one in garbage, one goes to Goodwill, get rid of 30 things out of some. It's a great challenge to do. We are going to leave you now. Have a happy, happy Saturday. Hopefully this rain will clear up. I'm Tony Ray Baker with Tierra Antigua Realty.
