Lots of Fun at Hi-Fi Bar, Happy Holidays, and 2 Amazing Homes For Sale

In this community‑focused livestream, host Speaker A welcomes Michelle from Tierra Antigua Realty and CJ Urban, co‑owner and GM of Hi‑Fi 55 and founder of Urban Pita. CJ explains that Hi‑Fi is more than a bar—it offers lunch, dinner, happy hour, and a late‑night menu (open until 3 AM on weekends) plus a family‑friendly patio with games such as giant Jenga, Connect Four, shuffleboard, pool, and cornhole. The venue’s signature “crack mac” (jalapeño‑cheese mac and cheese with grilled chicken) is highlighted. The conversation shifts to downtown Tucson holiday happenings: the Miracle on Congress Street Santa appearances, Mrs. Claus events at Stillwell/Carriage House, the Parade of Lights on Dec 17, and the Second Saturday shop‑local market (now 2 pm‑8 pm). A brief tech tip introduces Mixtiles, a photo‑wall app for holiday gifts. Darren then showcases two new listings: a two‑story mountain‑view home on the west side with an in‑law/rental unit, dual‑faced fireplace, balcony, stainless‑steel kitchen, and scenic views; and an Ice House loft near downtown featuring a $70k remodel, rare blue‑eyed granite, engineered wood floors, a private courtyard and separate guest house, priced at $365 k. Contact information for the real‑estate team (phone 520‑631‑8669, website c2sonhomes.com) and Hi‑Fi’s site (hi‑fi‑bars.com) is provided, and viewers are directed to the Facebook page for updates.

Hi everybody, and we're back. Hello, happy, happy Saturday. Uh, today we have Michelle, who you have not met, and Michelle works with us at Tierra Antigua Realty. And, uh, today we also have CJ Urban, and CJ, CJ, you're the owner of— one of the owners, general manager, general manager of Hi-Fi 55. Right? And you just also opened a new place next door, which is called?
Urban Pita.
Urban Pita. And that, the Urban Pita place stays open late.
Open till 3 AM on Thursday, Friday, Saturdays.
Open till 3 AM. So when people leave here, they can get a munchie to take care of that hunger pain at 2 AM. But, so what you may not know is really, really cool about Hi-Fi that I love is the crack mac. He knows I come here for Crack Mac and Cheese. That's my name for it. It's a special— it's like a jalapeño cheese or something. Jalapeño cheese, yes. I'm not a mac and cheese fan, so this is funnier than heck because I love coming here because they get this grilled chicken on top of this jalapeño cheese, which is melted down beautifully. It's just a good dish. It's beautiful. I love it. He sees me in here every week having Crack Mac, and I call it that because you can't stop eating the sauce. It's really, really good. But one of— so what I didn't know originally was I thought that this was a bar inside, which it does. It has a great bar and really cool seating inside and stuff, but it's far more than a bar. It's actually a restaurant here, and they're open for lunch and dinner.
Lunch, happy hour, dinner, late night.
Do you serve food on, like, later into the evening when you're packed with people, or do you—
So I think it's open till 10 o'clock, and then on Saturdays open till 11. Okay, so a little bit later.
But if I'm hungry, I could then— I didn't know you were open that late for food. I could just leave, walk right next door and go to the pita place now, and I can get a bite there. Exactly.
Awesome.
Because some of the places in downtown close close a little earlier, um, like probably 10.
Most restaurants close at 10, maybe 11 on the weekend.
So, so you're one of the only ones open.
Yeah, so it's kind of an offer for the late night crowd to come down, come downtown, or if you live down here, we're open till 3 AM on the weekends and there's something to eat. Nice.
And then, so they've got lunch and they have dinner, and then, um, of course great cocktails. And it's a really amazing fun space because not only is there like 1 billion televisions to watch any game you would want to watch, right? They're everywhere inside and out. But, um, as you saw from pan of you at the beginning of this. There is a beautiful outside play area here, and you've got shuffleboard and pool tables, and there's cornhole. Is that what that's called? Where you toss the beanbag?
Toss.
And what is that thing called?
Check 5 or something? Uh, we have giant Jenga, and we also have Connect Four. Giant Connect Four.
Giant Connect Four and giant Jenga.
Yeah.
Um, and when you're sitting out here and somebody knocks those giant Jenga blocks, you see like the new people, they all jump because they don't know. That's a little loud when this giant crashing blocks come down. So I have to tell you, like, on a nice day, which most days in Tucson are beautiful days, to sit under a gorgeous patio, you can sit out here, see all the cars driving by, the people going by. It feels like you're in a big metropolitan city. You get to have a cocktail, have some food, play games with your friends. It's just a great place to hang out. Oh, awesome. Yeah. And you've had, I've seen some younger kids in here, so they're allowed in the area for lunch?
So we're, yeah, we're open to families. Um, until 10 o'clock at night. Yeah, so we're all ages until 10 o'clock, and then after 10 o'clock we go 21 and up.
So this is a great place for a football game then. I would think mom and dad could bring the kids, they can play cornhole, the beanbag toss, or the other games. Mom and dad can have a beer, they can all eat, everybody can hang out here, right?
It's just a— it's an all-around great spot to watch like UVA games. Yeah, NFL. I mean, we're definitely family friendly, so we have kids menu. So we're definitely open to all ages here.
That's awesome. No, I didn't know that. I have a 6-year-old. Yeah, I'll be here. So it's a great place just to come hanging out, and I love being part of all of the city going wrapped around us. You're sitting here, the train goes by behind us, you get the light rail running by, you get buses, people. It's just like living again. I love what's happening.
Yeah, the emergence of downtown has been amazing the past couple years.
We love that you're part of it and that you've created this beautiful space for us to come play in. Um, and I can't wait to see the Pita Place. So, um, and we gotta try that out. So tell me a little bit about the food at the Pita Place.
But the Pita Place? Yeah. Um, so it's a Mediterranean concept, so we do, you know, gyros, chicken shawarma, falafel. So there is that ability if you are vegetarian. We have vegetarian options. It's just a great, you know, lunch, dinner, late night kind of spot. So, you know, instead of trying to go to Taco Shop or Niko, something like that, out of the way, you can just walk right down to Arupita and grab a late night bite, or, you know, grab some lunch.
3 AM, that's crazy, right? All of this is just awesome. Well, thank you so much for letting us come, and CJ's been very kind to let us do our little show here today, and so we appreciate you doing that too. And we got some fun stuff coming up. So we just saw Santa Claus. If you didn't see, we just ran into Santa on the streets because it's Miracle on Congress Street, right? That's right. So what did he say? Friday, Thursday, Friday? No, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Santa's here. He's got a whole lineup.
Hot chocolate and cocoa bar, um, cookies. They've got cartoons for the kids. Mrs. Claus is coming in. You can visit, you can visit one-on-one with Santa.
Okay, so Santa and Mrs. Claus aren't working together. We had a chat with them, he said they just couldn't put everybody together. So Mrs. Claus is going to be at Stillwell House, and that is coming up on the 17th. Oh, sorry, Carriage House on the 17th. It looks like she's reading stories, she's got cookies and all kinds of fun stuff going on there. I think Mrs. Claus is also at Stillwell House on the 10th. Yes, she is. I can see that on my news desk, live from Tucson, Arizona. The news desk, live from Tucson, Arizona. And then we've got, so just so you know, there's also some really cool stuff like the Downtown Parade of Lights is on the 17th.
Yes, 17th. You gotta plan for that. Yeah, you gotta plan for that. Get down early, grab something to eat, bam, stake out your spot.
And we'll post the parade route. We posted it on our web, on our Facebook pages last week. So we'll post the parade route again in case you missed it, or you can search for our video, which is at the top of the page at facebook.com/SeachesOnRealEstate, where you should be right now. But if you're not because you're on another channel that should be there. Um, and at the top of this page, every week we post the latest video, so you'll see what's going on. So it's See Tucson Real Estate. I hope I typed that all right. Hope I can spell. Um, so we'll post that, and you'll have all— and you'll have all the information about what's going on downtown. The Fox Theater has a bunch of cool stuff going on. I think there's a couple holiday things at Rialto. And we just got to go to the Fox, which was amazing because We saw Roger Hodgson from Supertramp, and I did a little live feed over there, so you can look on my Tony Ray Baker Facebook page and you can see the Supertramp songs they were singing were amazing from Breakfast in America. Did you not love that concert?
It was a great concert.
Yeah, sold out. They're selling out all over the world. So they— I was looking at their schedule, and the guy's just amazing. He's still rocking it out, and it was so— it was like a flashback Super fan for me. I felt like a kid again. Um, and then what else do we have going on? So you've got Mrs. Claus— Santa Claus is here 3 days a week. Off the Hook next weekend— wait, this weekend?
Next week.
Next Saturday is Second Saturday, and Santa is also at Stillwell House. So you've got Santa there from 10 to noon. You've got Second Saturday, and it's shop local, of course. And By the way, Second Saturdays, we need to acknowledge that they are 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock now because of winter hours. So it'll be a little warmer for you to come down and play. And we are at our office on Saturday, so if you are coming down for Second Saturday, bang on the door and say hi to us. Right?
Mm-hmm.
Awesome. And then, have you seen mixed tiles on— CJ, I'm gonna put you on the spot. Have you seen this thing called mixed tiles?
I have not.
Okay, so I'll let you vanna that. Can you hold that up? Awesome, dude. So this— so I like to do a geek tech of the thing, and I'm gonna do this because of the holidays. I think this is a cool Christmas idea. You go on your phone and you're gonna download the Mixtiles app. Just type in Mixtiles and you'll get a Mixtiles app. And these things are really cool. They actually take your phone photos. You select like 6 or 10 or whatever you want to buy. The more you buy, the less they cost. So that's really cool. And you buy— you can do your whole vacation or the family or whatever, like you see here with CJ. Um, and you buy these little things, they come in wrapped in plastic, you have 4 little sticky dots on the back and they just stick on your wall.
I kind of want these.
I know, here's the cool thing, they pop right back off and then they stick right back on the wall and over and over and over and over.
And so you get them where you want, right?
And they go and go, they go and go until you get them where you want them. And they— and the guy that I watched putting them up, he's like, dude, look at this. And they— he barely tapped it and it stuck to the wall, and then he just popped it right back off and he tapped it in on the wall again. So they've got some magic glue. Maybe Santa's magic glue is on there. But that's my geek tip of the week. I wanted you to see those. I think that's a great Christmas gift, um, for someone in your family or anyone. I mean, that's a cool idea, right? Just do a nice little spread of the mix Tiles. Thank you for being a fan for us, CJ. Uh, Darren's going to talk about a brand new listing we have coming up. It'll go in on the market this weekend. It is on the west side of town. Yes, yes, tell us all about it, Darren.
This is a great house. Here's a shot of the front. You can see it's a great two-story house. It's, uh, built so that it's basically a house on top of a house. So downstairs is great for in-law apartment or a rental, any particular use you might need. The setting is absolutely amazing. Beautiful mountain and city views from just about every window in the house. And so this is, this is a shot from the master bedroom. Hardwood floors.
There's a nice little balcony out there.
Throughout the entire upstairs, it has a complete covered balcony across the entire front. So you can kind of see that. And then look at this, it's got a two-sided fireplace that services both the living room and a little sitting room. It has a breakfast nook, a dining room, a breakfast bar, a large kitchen. It's huge. This is a fantastic house. You gotta see it.
It's got new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. There's way too much to show. Yeah, you gotta come see that.
You gotta come see that.
It's going on the market today or tomorrow. You'll love it. You gotta come see that. And then, um, We have a— so I have some new pictures of a beautiful loft right near downtown. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the— from the loft to downtown. It's at the Ice House. You know, we love the Ice House lofts, and shout out to Rob Paulus for creating some beautiful spaces for us to play in again. So this is the private courtyard that sits between the loft and the guest house, and then we'll take that second shot, and you can see that is inside the loft looking out into the courtyard, and this is the guest house right over here. And I'm going to show you a picture of that guest house coming up. That's the kitchen. These guys did about a $70,000 remodel on this loft, and, um, that has beautiful rare blue-eyed granite, and then it has upgraded stainless steel appliances in the bathrooms and the stainless steels in the bathrooms and the kitchen. They even wrapped the, um, whole master bath in the rare granite. Very expensive. Then one of the cool things about this loft is they did engineered wood floors, which are about $10,000 to $11,000 worth of wood that they did on the floor. So this loft has that industrial feel, but it also has this beautiful warmth because of that wood floor. So it's gorgeous. My favorite thing about this loft is it's got a private courtyard with an entry, a private entry that goes to this guest house. So I'll show you that one. Now this is the guest house that's connected to that loft. For $365,000, you get a loft and the guest house and a private courtyard with the side entry, and all of that right out to the front. So you could rent this or have someone staying there, and they will not have to go through your main loft to get in and out of this one. You're— that's a one-of-a-kind. There is nothing like this in Tucson, Arizona. It is the only one. So that's what's really wicked about that loft. I love this space. It's beautiful. This, uh, this steel artist who did all of that floor. It's beautiful. Looks like it belongs right here, huh? Nice. Um, okay, so that's a new loft. That Harville house we showed you last week, uh, the condo that's on the light rail, is gone. Um, thank you for everybody for spreading the word and sharing that for us. It's sold already. Um, it sold last night actually. So we're happy, uh, for our seller there. He gets to move to Texas, which we're not happy about because we're gonna miss him. So that's that. And if you need to get any information about anything we talk about, we are going to always now start posting what we talk about on the bottom of this video thread. And then James is on the camera behind you, which you cannot see. The anonymous, the secret James who you never see is behind that filming. But James has a cool way of making these how-to houses show up on our website with their own URL, so I'll post those as well so you can go to these houses. And then we'll give you— you have a website too, right?
Yes, we do.
Yep. So we'll give you the Hi-Fi address right now.
Yeah, it's hi-fi-bars.com.
Nice. And then we'll put that on the video feed, right? And then, Jaren, how do they get a hold of us if they want to buy or sell a house?
Give us a call at 520-631-8669. And then our Website is c2sonhomes.com.
Thank you so much, CJ.
Great job.
We saw CJ last night for a wee tad bit. I wasn't out late. Um, thank you so much. Have a great day. Happy holidays.
