Hi there, I'm Tony Ray Baker with RE/MAX Select, and I'm super excited to show you one of our absolute favorite local boutiques today. It's called Seasoned Women. It's a secret that Darren and I have been holding on to for many years. Every time we need a really great gift for a woman in our lives, we come here, and, uh, it always goes over really, really well. So we're gonna go into the store and introduce you to the owner and meet some of the people that work there and show you some of the fun stuff, uh, so you can come here and check it out. Okay, so now we got inside the store at Seasoned Women, and I'm super excited to introduce to you the owner, Joan. Hi, Joan.

And you two have worked here for a long time.
For a long time. I'm going on 8, she's going on 9. 9, yep.
8 and 9 years.
10th Christmas in a row. Wow.
So Joan, how long have you owned this?
This fall it'll be 19 years.
19 years you've been here?
It's fall now, yes.
So I've been— so Darren and I have been coming here for 15 years.
Wow.
Yeah, because we live really close and, um, this has been our secret place and we're letting it go now. I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown. But all the ladies in our lives, if we need a gift, we come here and you three always help us every single time. It's amazing.
These are our magic elves.
Yeah, they're magic elves. They make suggestions. We we give them ideas and we always end up with like award-winning gifts. It's amazing. No, everybody was just always so excited about the gifts we have. So it's so cool and we're so happy to highlight you guys. Um, what made you do this, Joan? Like, you just— how did this happen?
It was a dream of mine since I was 16, and, uh, we moved here 21 years ago. Decided to make it happen here. Nice.
So, and then, so do the three of you pick stuff, or do you pick everything? How's this all the magical product?
It's really evolved, and, um, these ladies just make it happen with me, and we have a lot of fun doing it. Me too.
I love the special touches too, like, um, they wrap the gifts for you and make sure the tags are removed and suggest a card, and there's, there's those little specials that you can't get off of, you know, UPS stores delivering stuff to you. Nothing against UPS or Amazon or that, but the reality is this is really focused on client touch, and that's what's missing in our lives and why we really want to be here with you guys, because it has changed our life. Darren and I always know whenever there's a gift, we come running over here. Yeah, even our little niece Emma. We ended up with those little, uh, little boots. We were so depressed when she got too big for them.
I know, it's such a beautifully curated shop, and there's so many wonderful items here that you're just not finding everywhere else. And so it's a destination. It's really worth the trip.
So yeah, one of the things I love about this is you have, you you're supporting local artists in here, right? Yes. Okay, so this is one of my favorite artists for cards. Who is this?

I always know her as Zinnia Sky.
Right, right.
So if you can see that, and I had to pick one because it has lizard bodies on it, which I love. Um, go figure, right? So we love giving these away, but, um, you've got really cool Arizona stuff and other local artists who are making this stuff, right?
Right.
So tell us about some of that.
We've got Diana Medeiros's work for cutting boards. We've also got things from Susan Libby, and they're both here in Tucson. Um, we have this brand new—
that is really cute cutting board.
They suggest using this side.
Yeah, yeah, see, don't scratch up the fun stuff.
So we just try to support local as much as possible.

That is so cute. Yeah, little napkins, lots of stuff with little cactus. There's really cool wine glasses.
This will be fun for stocking stuffer for Christmas. Saguaro with the Santa hat and lights.

We thank you for all the years you've given to us, and we're super excited to, uh, release our secret. Um, I really did not do this for the women of the world of Tucson. I did it for the dudes. Guys, you need to know about this store. You will be— oh, I mean, like, you can't lose. Just if you need a gift for a woman, come here. This is like the best place for men to shop. It's a no-brainer. So this is for you guys, all of our guys out there.
