In this solo YouTube presentation, Trena Little addresses the anxiety many coaches and small‑business owners feel about the future—particularly the impact of AI, a shifting economy, and concerns about cash flow leading up to 2027. She begins by grounding the conversation in hard data: the NFIB Business Optimization Index shows small‑business optimism at 98.7 (well above its 52‑year average), the creator‑economy is valued at $250‑$50 billion and projected to reach $480 billion by 2027, and the online‑course market alone exceeds $325 billion. She then interprets World Economic Forum forecasts that 39 % of core work skills will change by 2030, with 85 % of employers prioritising upskilling, arguing that AI will actually generate more demand for coaching and digital products rather than eliminate it. Trena shares concrete examples from her own business. Early in the year she struggled with YouTube momentum, but after pivoting to a live, paid 2‑hour workshop she generated six‑figures in a single quarter. She recounts a pandemic‑era shift to a high‑touch, done‑for‑you YouTube agency that became a major revenue stream, and a personal anecdote of a client signing up while she was ill, thanks to automated funnels and YouTube visibility. The core insight she presents is that “traffic” is the single differentiator for 2026‑2027 success. Traditional ad‑driven traffic has dried up; instead, weekly, evergreen YouTube videos provide searchable, long‑lasting exposure. Moreover, AI chat tools like ChatGPT now surface YouTube content directly, delivering free, high‑intent traffic to creators whose videos are indexed by these models. To help viewers capitalise on this, Trena announces a virtual conference, “Evergreen and Evermore,” on October 13, consisting of three sessions covering YouTube strategies for 2027, live video‑title planning, and a walkthrough of her playlist‑funnel system. The conference costs $47 and is promoted via trinalittle.com/evergreen. Throughout, Trena’s tone is conversational yet data‑driven, encouraging coaches to move beyond panic, focus on creating specific, human‑touch content, and leverage YouTube and AI‑driven traffic to secure cash flow for 2027.

I've been having a lot of conversation with clients and potential clients about what it's gonna take to get our business to 2028, another whole year from now, because there's a lot of conversation about AI changing things, the economy, and it just feels like everybody in your feed is talking about how hard business is right now. And as a recovering vibes girl, I wanted to get some data over all that drama to figure out, is this actually happening or is this just a vibe? And once I took some time to do the research, dig into some numbers, dig into some data, I found something pretty interesting I think you're going to want to hear. One of the first things that I looked at, the NFIB Business Optimization Index. This is a survey that has tracked small businesses over 50 years, and it came in at a 98.7 7 back in August. That number is above the 52-year historical average, which is telling us right now small business owners are more optimistic than ever before. Yeah, they're actually optimistic right now. The second number that I found is ridiculous, and it's all around the creator economy, and that's us— any of us creating content, any of us doing coaching, any of us doing digital products, courses. It's an economy right now estimated at $250 $50 billion, and it is projected to hit $480 billion in 2027. And the online course industry alone crossed the $325 billion industry. That's at a pace to nearly double in just the next year. So not an industry that's dying. There are people buying courses, buying coaching, buying digital products. The question is, Can they find you? And do you have what they're looking for? That's exactly what I want to tell you here in a minute. But the other thing I do want to address is AI, because it's the big scary monster that we're all talking about. The World Economic Forum says employers expect 39% of core work skills to change by 2030, and 85% of those employers are prioritizing upskilling. So what all does that actually mean? It means a massive skill change is coming, and that's exactly what people buy courses for, coaching for. AI is actually not killing the demand for what you do. AI is manufacturing more demand. And I want to tell you what I'm really seeing in buyer behavior right now, because I have people buying my program consistently. People enjoy AI. People like researching on AI. People like talking to AI. But they also realize AI should probably only take them so far. Then they realize they want an actual human being looking at their work, giving them feedback, looking at things that they can't check because they don't know what they don't know in a particular niche. Because we've got all the information in the world for free, but when you have somebody who knows your particular situation and can be that human touch, that's what got more valuable. Now here's the interesting part. I don't want you to take these statistics just for what is said on the internet. I want to tell you what's happening right now in my business. At the beginning of the year, I was having a hard time getting momentum in my YouTube coaching experience. Some could say, oh, it's AI. People are using AI to do YouTube. People are using AI to figure out YouTube. No. In the last quarter, I have changed my entire angle. I have changed how I basically present my coaching program. I've been doing a live workshop for 3 months, and we have hit over 6 figures in just that one funnel in one quarter. People are still very much buying, but people are buying customization. People are buying personalization. People are buying human, and they are buying specificity. They need to know exactly what you're going to help them with. They don't need you to help them with the kitchen sink. They have a particular problem. They want a specialist to help them with it, and they've really got to trust you before they spend a dollar with you. So that's really what my YouTube content's been doing for me. And then having a 2-hour paid workshop really closed the deal. Now, this is a pattern that we have seen before. We all know what 2020 brought us. Everybody panicked. Everybody cut. Some people got loans from the government. I didn't do any of that. I watched my own numbers. I stayed focused on my own paper. I didn't let the news freak me out. Maybe a little bit, but not in my business decisions. What I started to see trend was people wanted high-touch done-for-you support. People wanted me to plan their YouTube content, write their YouTube content, edit their YouTube content, optimize it, basically do this one thing for me as a specialist. That's when I shifted from doing a course to doing a done-for-you agency right in the smack dab of the pandemic. And it became one of my biggest money makers in my business. For sure, it eventually burnt me out and I pivoted. But at the time, my business was doing amazing because I looked at what was working in a time where people said no one was buying. One of my favorite stories about that time, which is a total true story, my entire family and I were sick, like in the bathroom on the floor sick. And I had a client reach out to me. She had like DM'd me on Instagram and said, I just finished binging so much of your content, how do I work with you? She had never found me before. She had no idea who I was the day before. And because I had automation set up, I sent the automation over to her, like drug myself to my computer, sent her the, the contract, signed, sealed, delivered, invoice paid before I even got to work that next Monday when we were feeling better, all because of YouTube, all because I was focusing on the specificity that clients wanted during that point of time. So what's the 2026 version of this shift? Here's the biggest thing that I'm noticing that's causing businesses to do well and have cash flow and businesses who are strapped with cash flow. And it honestly boils down to one word: traffic. Because I think a lot of times business owners forget this constantly. Because back in the day, even just a few years ago, it was easy to get traffic to our sales pages, to our lead magnets, to our opt-ins. Ads were cheap, Instagram reach was easy. All of that has changed now. And if you're still doing that, you're not getting the traffic that you used to get. So you probably have an audience or an email list that has been exhausted by your launching. So every time you launch, your launches get smaller and smaller. You're getting less inquiries because you're not building more and more of an audience. You're not increasing your traffic. You're not refreshing your traffic with new eyeballs. I'm sorry, this is shaking. I forgot my tripod connection, and so I'm having to prop this up on my steering wheel with my hand holding it up. We're almost there. But the clients that I'm working with that are still seeing sales, and myself included, we're creating weekly YouTube videos. And the reason why this is really the answer to the traffic problem is because those videos are constantly being searched and constantly being watched. When you focus on content, like when you focus on Instagram content, there's only so much reach on that Instagram content. And Instagram content is a lot less trusted these days. There's a lot of AI slop on Instagram. So building that trust with people on a 90-second reel, a 2-minute reel is a lot harder than if you're building strategic YouTube videos that people binge watch, sometimes 30, 40, 50 minutes of you. And then the other piece that has been game changer, especially this year that I'm seeing across the board, is getting traffic from ChatGPT. So how are my clients getting traffic from ChatGPT? ChatGPT, one of their number one resources is YouTube. So when you have YouTube content that can help them answer a problem and they reference you, we are seeing more and more views on my channel, my clients' channels coming from ChatGPT. And this is how people are searching now. They're not searching on Google anymore. They're going to chat, they're going to Claude, they're going to AI agents to search. To find somebody that can help them with the specific problem that they have. And if you don't have content that AI can search, you are not benefiting on that free traffic. So I wanna talk about exactly what you can do to start getting free traffic on your content and start creating evergreen and evermore content, meaning content that will be evergreen on YouTube that will send you leads and traffic forevermore. So we're gonna dive into that on October 13th at my Evergreen and Evermore virtual conference. This conference is 3 very targeted sessions. One session is all about what is currently working on YouTube right now and what should you focus on in 2027 as a business owner on YouTube to make sure you are creating videos that get you traffic, that send you leads and clients. Then we're gonna do actual video planning. We're gonna talk about titles and topics and we're gonna workshop real life titles. In session two, and then finally in session three, I'm going to walk through how my entire playlist funnel works with your business. What is the strategy behind it? How do you optimize every single video to get people to binge so that they want to work with you before they even fill out an application or book a call with you? The ticket is forty-seven dollars, and you can grab your seat right now at trinalittle.com/evergreen. I want you to be honest with me right now because I love to get a feel for the room. How are you feeling about 2027 right now? Are you still a little bit panicked with cash flow and where you're at, or are you starting to see the shift that you really need to make to have 2027 be a great year for you? Because don't worry, the data says the buyers are there. It's not a vibe we should focus on. Focus on the data. And the only question I would be asking your business right now is whether you're creating content that is driving you consistent traffic. What are you doing to get traffic? Let me know in the comments below.
