Set up a custom sending domain in Per Diem by creating a subdomain, adding DNS records (DKIM, MX, TXT, SPF, DMARC) through your provider, and validating with a test email. Use a dedicated subdomain like mail.tripodim.com to avoid conflicts with existing records.

Before you can send emails from your own domain, you will need to connect and verify it. Here is how. We recommend using a dedicated subdomain, like mail.tripodim.com, rather than your root domain. This is important because the setup includes an MX record. Using your root domain could interfere with email you already receive through services like Google Workspace. Open Emails, go to Domains, and add your sending domain. Enter your sender name from Email and Reply To address, then save. Perdium gives you the DNS records you need, including DKIM, MX, TXT, SPF, and DMARC. Copy these into your DNS provider, or use the zone file if your provider supports it. Once they are added, click I have added these records, then validate your DNS configuration. DNS changes can take some time to propagate. Once your domain is verified, send yourself a test email to make sure the sender name, reply-to, and formatting look right. That is it, your sending domain is ready to use.
