Learn to set up service fees in Per Diem through Settings → Payment → Service Fee. Configure flat or percentage charges per order type, waive fees above a threshold, and use Advanced options to restrict fees by location, day, or date for holiday surcharges.
Service fees are managed in Settings, Payment, Service Fee, and show as a separate line at checkout. Each order type has its own rules, and the same setup applies to app and web orders. Choose the order type first, click Add Rule, give the fee a customer-facing label, then choose a flat amount or percentage and create it. You can edit a rule anytime. If you want to stop charging it without removing the setup, use Disable instead of Delete. To waive the fee on larger orders, turn on Waive Service Fee and enter the waiver amount. Advanced lets you limit a fee to specific locations, days, or a specific date, which can be useful for holiday surcharges. Bag fees are separate.
