You wanna know what sucks about being a business owner that provides great value and great service to your customers? Your best customers won't leave you a review. They're happy. They got what they paid for. And now that they're gone, living their best life, they forget about you. But your angriest customers? They'll take 45 minutes to write a 1-star essay and tank your credibility for years. That's why most businesses are stuck with social proof that's either nonexistent or completely skewed. Here's how to fix that. You stop waiting, you stop hoping that someone's gonna leave you a nice comment, and you start getting proactive. Make a list of your 5 best customers. Then I want you to DM or email them the following script: Hey, would you be open to a 5-minute Zoom call to share your experience? I'd love to capture your story as a quick testimonial. Then hop on the Zoom call with them, hit record, and ask the following 3 questions. Number 1: What was your life or business like before working with me? This is going to frame the pain. It sets the stage and it reminds them where they started. Question number 2: What was your experience like working with me? Highlight anything that you appreciated— support, communication, our process, the results that we generated. This is where emotion comes through. It's the proof of value, the stuff that builds Trust. Question 3: What is your life like now as a result of working with me? This is the transformation, the payoff, the dream outcome. That's it. You don't need fancy editing. You don't need lighting or a backdrop. You need real words from real customers captured in their voice. This is day 49. Tomorrow we wrap up the first half of the journey with the strategic breakdown of where you go next. See you in the next video.
