The video tutorial walks users through attaching photos to emails sent from GAS Engineering Software on both the web portal and mobile apps. It first demonstrates adding photos to a job on the web portal, where photos can be uploaded via drag‑and‑drop or file browse, renamed, and marked with a “do not send to customer” toggle. Saved photos automatically attach to any email (certificate, quote, invoice) unless unchecked, and extra attachments can be added at send time. The tutorial then shows the equivalent process on the mobile app: uploading photos to a job via a Photos button, taking a picture or selecting from the library, renaming, and setting the send‑to‑customer flag. The app syncs with the web portal, and when composing an email the attached job photos appear with a paper‑clip icon, allowing users to check/uncheck or add more files before sending. The overall workflow ensures consistent photo management across platforms and gives users control over which images are sent to customers.

In this video, we'll walk you through the process of attaching photos to your emails sent from GAS Engineering Software, both on the web portal and mobile apps. Let's start with the web portal. Perhaps the easiest way to manage your photos is to add them to a job. That way, anytime you send the customer an email, the photo will already be attached unless you otherwise exclude it. So to do that, the first thing we want to do is head over to a job. Once on the job page, you can click the Photos button on the right-hand side over here. Which will bring you to this page over here where you can drag and drop files or browse them from your computer to upload them. So we're just gonna upload a random screenshot here as an example. This button over here allows you to rename the photo to something perhaps more useful. And this option over here, do not send to customer. If you have this option ticked, it will not automatically include the photo in any emails you send to the customer. But since we do want to send this photo, we're gonna leave it unticked. Once done, click Save All Photos and you'll be redirected back to the job page. Now let's say we wanted to send an email to this customer. We're going to reissue the certificate that we had before. We go ahead and click on Send and then Send a GAS Certificate. You'll see here on the email editor that not only can you edit any of this content as you like, you can also see that the photo is attached here alongside the GAS Certificate over here. The same process would work if you were sending a quote or an invoice, for example. Let's say you didn't want to send a photo, you can always uncheck it here. Likewise, if you wanted to add some extra photos, you can add attachment by clicking on this button over here and then uploading anything from your computer. So now we'll walk through the process on the mobile. Just like the web portal, there are two main ways that you can attach photos to your emails sent from the mobile apps. The first of which is to upload it to the job and then have that automatically attached to any email you send. The second way is to simply add it at the stage at which you're sending the email. We'll start by uploading them to the job. If you find your job in the app, there's a button down at the bottom that you can tap— Photos. Click on that, and here, for example, we see this photo that we uploaded earlier in the video on the web portal, as the app and the web portal sync. You can also upload more by clicking "Tap here to upload your photos." You can take one directly from your camera or you can choose one from your photo library. And just like on the web portal, you can rename the photo and tick whether you want to send it to the customer or not. Once that's done, if you head to an email screen, which we'll quickly do here by heading to an existing record that we created for this customer, you can see that that photo is attached along with, in this case, again, a safety record. You can freely check and uncheck these here. Just as if you click this paperclip icon in the top right-hand corner, you'll get taken to the job photos page for that job, and you can again upload more or choose to rename the file. Clicking Send will send it to the customer, and that's it!
