Once selecting or creating the information, you will be brought to a quote screen. Here you can input details of charges like quantity, description, and price by clicking on Description. If this is a regular item you quote, I would recommend creating a template. You can do this by clicking Use Template under Select Template. You can click on New Cost Template. Once this template is saved, you're able to select it as much as you would like. Your template also appears when creating invoices. If VAT registered, you can select if VAT is inclusive or not, and also if it is to be marked as domestic reverse charge. Once happy with your quote, you can select Approve and Email. This will create the quote in a PDF format and attach it to an email. Click Send and it will take you to the job page for that quote. When the customer has accepted your quote, you can simply go on the job, which can be found under the Jobs tab, then Quotes. You can just click the accepted quote, and this will create an invoice ready to send. This will move the job to Current under the Jobs tab, as seen here. And this is how simple it is to create a quote on Gas Engineer Software. Once that quote's been accepted and the job's been created, it's ready for scheduling, and that's what we're discussing in the next video. Till then, thank you.
