Gas Engineer Software supports both the Construction Industry Scheme and Domestic Reverse Charge with your invoices. For more context, be sure to read the full help article, but in this quick video, we'll show you how to add either of these to your invoice on the web portal and mobile apps. Starting with the web portal. So to begin here, I have an example invoice editor open with a line item created, and if I wanted to add a CIS line item, I would simply have to click on this button over in the right-hand side panel. Clicking on it opens up a popup to add a CIS line item. If we just quickly fill this out, give it a unit and a price. Once we click save, we'll see that line item added, as well as it's given the CIS deduction tag. And in our totals area, we can see the CIS deduction added over here. To mark this invoice as domestic reverse charge, we simply have to make sure that this toggle is turned on, so it's orange. As you can see, when we do so, the to Total Due Updates. The process is very much the same on the mobile apps, which we'll move on to now. So again, here I have a sample invoice opened up. To add a CIS line item on the mobile apps, you simply have to click on this mobile burger menu in the top right-hand corner. Once we do so, we can then click on Add CIS Deduction. We can then do the same thing by adding a description, giving it a unit price, and CIS rate. Once we click save, you can see that that CIS deduction has been added to the invoice as a line item, and it's also given the CIS deduction tag, just like on the web portal. It's also added to the total section down here. If we wanted to mark this invoice as a domestic reverse charge invoice, we simply have to click on this burger icon in the top right-hand corner again and then toggle the domestic reverse charge option. Now you can see that is ticked. Once you've toggled that, then Voice will update, and all you have to do is approve it and send it to your customer.
