How to Create Quotes & Invoices on Mobile in GES

This tutorial walks viewers through the end‑to‑end process of generating a professional quote in the GES mobile application and turning it into an invoice. Starting from the main menu, the narrator shows how to select or create a job, add line items either manually or from saved templates, and include all required details. The video explains how to save the quote as a draft, approve it, and either preview or email it directly to a customer. It also covers the behavior of records that are issued but not emailed. Finally, the guide demonstrates how to locate an issued quote in the Jobs History or Existing Records sections and convert it into an invoice with a few taps, reviewing and approving before sending to the client.

By the end of this video, you'll be able to create and send a professional quote and convert it into an invoice in just a few taps. Open the app and tap New Estimate, Quote, or Invoice from the main menu. Tap on Quote. Choose a job you're working on, or tap Add New Job to create one. You'll now be on the editor screen. Tap the plus icon to add line items. You can enter them manually or use a saved template. Add all required details for each line item. When you're ready, tap Save to keep it as a draft. Or tap "Approve" to finalize the record. Select "Email" to send it directly to your customer, or tap "Preview" to review it first. Check the email details, then tap "Send." If you exit to the home screen without sending, the record will sync as issued but not emailed. Anytime your quote has been accepted or the job is complete, you can convert it into an invoice with just a tap. To do this, open the quote from the "Jobs History" section, or tap "Existing Records and Drafts" from the home screen, then select "Quotes." Find your issued quote and tap Convert to Invoice. Review the details, then tap Approve and Send to issue it to your customer. That's it! Your quote is sent and ready to convert into an invoice whenever the job's complete.
