By the end of this video, you'll know how to create, send, and track professional invoices in the web portal. The invoices page gives you a clear overview of all issued invoices. Here you can see key details such as the job, issue date, amount owed, and payment status. You can also record payments directly from this screen. To create a new invoice, click Create Invoice. You can also use Create New from any page. If you've already created a quote, you can convert it into an invoice in just one click. Next, select the job you'd like to invoice and click Next. You'll now be on the invoice editor. To add line items, click Add Item. Enter the description, quantity, price, and VAT. Then save. To save time, click Use Template to apply a saved template, which is ideal for common jobs with fixed pricing like gas safety checks. When you're ready, click Save to keep it as a draft, or select Approve and Email to send it directly to your customer. You can also choose Approve and Preview if you'd like to issue it without sending it straight away. Once issued, you can schedule automated payment reminders so outstanding invoices are chased automatically. That's it! Your invoice is sent, tracked, and managed all in one place.
