In this video, we'll show you how to create and use a job sheet in GAS Engineer Software. Job sheets can be created on the mobile app and web portal. We'll cover both, starting with mobile. Let's go ahead and open the app. From the home menu, click "New Record". This next screen is a list of all the records you can create in GAS Engineer Software. Job sheets can be found right at the bottom, but if you'd like, you can favourite it so that one appears at the top. To do that, click on the star. If you scroll back to the top, you'll see it now also appears underneath your favourites. Once you tap on Job Sheet, you'll be prompted to attach it to a job. Scroll or use the search bar at the top to find the relevant job and tap on it. If you haven't yet created a job, there is an Add New Job button at the bottom. You can now start filling in the Job Sheet. Add an arrival time and the job reference number if necessary. And in this box, you can add all your job notes. Click Next to move on to Part 2. Don't worry if you want to change something. All you need to do is tap the backwards arrow in the top left here. On this page, you can note down any spares required, departure time, hours used, select whether any parts are being waited for, and whether the job was completed. Once done, click Next again. Fill out your name and add a signature. You can now either save the job sheet or approve and email it to your team or a customer. That's the whole process. Let's quickly run through how to do the same on the web portal. From any page, you can click the Create New button in the top right corner. Click Certificate, Quote, or Invoice. Like on the mobile apps, this window has all the records you can create in Gas Engineer Software. Scroll to the bottom for the Job Sheet. If you create job sheets frequently, be sure to star it to favourite this. Search for a job and select it. Details the software already knows, such as your name and company details, will already be filled. Simply click on the other text boxes to edit them. When you're finished, click Save, Approve, or Approve and Email. Approving the record will generate the PDF but not send it until you've had the chance to look over it. Job Sheets are one of our most flexible records. Depending on your preference, size of your business, and several other factors, you could send them to customers together with another record or certificate. Ask your engineers to record details to then be sent back to your admin team. Use them as a way of taking organised notes that relate to a specific job. We hope that helps.
