Our New Integration with Xero

Hello everyone, this is Aaron, the Customer Success Manager of Gas Engineer Software, with great news this month that we are now fully certified by Xero. This means you can now integrate your Gas Engineer Software with any of the Xero accountancy packages. It is very easy to connect this integration to Gas Engineer Software. Here is a brief description on how to do so. To integrate with Xero, you will need to be logged into the web portal. Once logged into the web portal, please go to your settings. Under settings, please find and tap Manage under integration settings. You will see two integrations for Xero. Please use the first one on the list. Check the boxes for Sync Customers to Xero and Sync Invoices to Xero, then tap Save Changes. Next, we need to connect to your Xero account, so click on the button as seen here. A login screen will appear asking for your Xero login details. If you don't yet have an account, you can click on the sign up link at the bottom of the page. If you are not multi-factor authorized by Xero, a page will appear asking you to set this up. You don't have to do this at this time, you you can just click "Not now." On the next screen, you will be asked to allow access to Gas Engineer Software. Here, you will need to click "Allow access." You will then be taken back to the Gas Engineer Software website, and a popup of Xero settings will appear. Here, you can choose your bank account and sales ledger you wish the invoices to go to. Once saved, you can scroll down to the integration and the status at the bottom of the Xero integration should now say "Active". And that is how easy it is to integrate Xero with Gas Engineer Software.
