Would you recommend the engineer's call in a gas safe? 100%. But they're always too frightened because they think it triggers— a lot of engineers think it triggers an inspection. Too many people wing it, and that's quite a big problem. Too many people just know how to fit a boiler. They don't check the gas pressures, they don't do anything like that. They just fit the boiler, make up the readings, and then they go, they get paid. And unfortunately, that's where issues come back and bite them in bite them in the ass. From Gas Safe's point of view, and I think from, from most engineers' point of view as well, they'd all probably say the same thing as me, that you've got to test. If you're testing an appliance, you're doing a gas safety inspection as if it's the first time you've done it, because you're basically signing it off to say it's safe.
