Emails sent by Gas Engineer Software use account-specific templates. The main benefit of this is that you don't have to type out emails every time you send a customer an invoice or a record, but you can still customize them to make them sound like yourself and your business. In this video, I'll show you how you can customize all your email templates to your liking. To do this, you'll need to log on to the web portal. Once you're there, click on the settings icon in the top right-hand corner next to your name. On this page, click Manage under Service Reminders and Email Templates. Here on this page, you can see all the different templates for various emails sent by the software. For example, you have your invoice email over here, and you have your gas service email down here, so on and so forth. In this example, we'll edit the invoice email template. On this page, you have some options including different subject line that you can modify, and down here is the body content of the email. You can also add any attachments that you'd like to be sent with that specific email. On the right-hand side, we have drag-and-drop tags, which you can simply drag and drop into the email, and they will auto-populate information specific to the customer you're sending the email to, such as their name or their job address or anything else. Each of these templates is saved individually, so you can have a different kind of email sent for an invoice, a different one sent for your quote, so on and so forth. There you go.
