Tulloch Priest says self-employment doesn't mean freedom or leisure. You work long hours, juggle everything, and constantly iterate. You need genuine love for the work, and even then it's demanding. It's not for everyone.
There's this sort of common misconception that if you work for yourself, you've got all this freedom and time to do what you like. When I find it's the opposite, you know, you haven't got that freedom and time. You've got to really love what you're doing, which luckily I do. So, you know, when you are working these long hours and doing these sort of different things and sorting out feedback and trying to make things better, it's just a bit of a challenge to me. I quite like it. I personally really enjoy it, but I'm also conscious that, you know, back to your point about it depends what you want. Yeah, it doesn't suit everyone.
