Some gas engineers skip safety checks, fake test readings, and avoid contacting GasSafe to finish jobs faster and get paid quicker. This creates serious hazards that come back to haunt them. Proper pressure checks and GasSafe consultation matter.
Too many people wing it, and that's quite a big problem. Too many people just know how to fit a boiler. They don't check the gas pressures, they don't do anything like that. They just fit the boiler, make up the readings, and then they go, they get paid. And unfortunately, that's where issues come back and bite them in the ass, unfortunately. But there's too much of that going on rather than just picking up the phone and ringing GasSafe for an answer.
