Gas Engineer Software can send SMS and email boiler service reminders automatically. But what if you had a specific customer that's asked to stop receiving reminders, or you'd like to turn them off entirely? In this video, we'll show you how to customize your reminders so they're sent only to those that you choose. To start, SMS reminders are turned off by default, so unless you've turned them on, you won't need to worry about them at all. Email reminders, on the other hand, are free to send and turned on by default. To begin, we're going to show you how to turn off reminders for a specific customer. This can be done on the web portal, so once you've logged in, click on the Customers tab from the top navigation menu and then search for or find the customer. Once you've opened up their page, on the right-hand, uh, panel over here, you'll see an option for automatic reminders. Simply click this to toggle it off, and that customer will no longer receive any reminders. If you want to turn off reminders for all customers, you'll need to click on the settings cog in the top right-hand corner next to your name, then click Manage under Service Reminders and Email Templates. And then scroll down to Annual Gas Service Reminders. Click Edit under there, and then on this page, under Schedule Email to Be Sent Automatically, simply set this as No. And from that point onwards, no more reminders will be sent out to your customers.
