Daisy went to Nepal to do plumbing work and discovered that the fundamentals are the same everywhere. Water flows downhill. You don't need a shared language when you understand the core principles of your trade.
What has it kind of done for you personally doing these kind of things? Our skills are so transferable because although we was halfway across the world, we didn't speak the same language, and someone said run water and we said fine, and we did the plumbing. We was at home because we was plumbing. The principles are the same, water runs downhill, it's just executing that. It was an incredible experience and I'd highly recommend anyone to give it a go.
