Hey, this is Tim Pratt Jr. and I want to welcome you to the Student of Life Podcast. Listen, we're going to get into so many transferable truths throughout the content of these episodes that I believe God is going to use to help you apply, because he's going to reveal what's already been there the entire time. Enjoy. Yo, what's up? So this is the season 6 trailer for the Student of Life Podcast, and of course I'm Tim Pratt Jr. and I just wanted to jump on here real quick to say I'm back. I'm, I'm writing content, have been writing content. Some content I've thrown away, some, you know, I'm massaging. Don't know if I'm going to follow the interview format this season because there's some things on my heart. I know that was my focus the last two seasons as well as following that series block, but I'm going to kind of highlight some of those things I plan on getting to. But if I don't follow the series block, there still will be some structure to it. And just really jumping straight into it, like I said, this is a trailer. So, uh, one of the things I would say if to look forward to, uh, and just kind of distill the book that just came out, uh, When Faith Needs Therapy by Anthony Evans and his therapist, uh, just released the book When Faith Needs Therapy. So I want to speak to that segment for a little bit, or I should say maybe an episode or two in that space, uh, just kind of give you some context outside of my educational background, you know, technology, business, leadership, management. I do have a counseling, a biblical counseling degree through theological studies. I went to seminary for— and I'm not by any means saying I'm an expert. Definitely still learning in that space, but it is a space that I do love. And as well as now, a part of my last year, I'm starting to get into some of the counseling courses in my Ministry and Leadership Seminary master's degree now. So not to brag about, but just to show I do have some educational background in this space. And as well as, like I said, I just love studying it. So there will be some structures. I said, I mean, we're going to talk about faith and therapy, we're going to talk about discipleship, loving difficult people, and boundaries, and of course leadership. And so I don't know how many episodes, like I said, as of right now it could be 5 to 7, but I just want to specifically speak to some things that have been on my heart. And like I said, I'm just kind of figuring out the last few things of how I'm going to map this, because preparation is good. I know we abuse the scripture with, uh, the Holy Spirit speaking through us and giving us what to say. But we also know— what I just learned actually being challenged in school is that, do we really know the context with why that was said? So we have to prepare. We have to have work to do. Uh, not saying just preparing and not being intimate with the text, because you do have a lot of that too. People just prepare but don't let the word work on them. But we also— once they are intimate with the text, a lot of times we aren't as effective as others are It's because we just hide behind the Holy Spirit and we don't think that we have to do anything. So I really want to challenge us in that area, and I'm saying us because I'm being challenged. I'm never going to preach anything that— or teach on anything or speak on anything, uh, for the most part that I haven't lived, uh, especially within the context of just faith and living out this life. And so I believe this is going to be very challenging. I believe that you're going to want to plug in. I believe that You're going to want to share it with someone. Uh, like I said, we're going to take it up. And like, as I continue to try to evolve as a communicator and just be more vocal, but with love and grace, but most importantly truth in this space, uh, I'm just— I'm looking forward to it and just challenging your walk. And, you know, can you really say I'm a disciple of Christ? Do I love with the love of Christ? Do I demonstrate the necessary grace? And it's challenging. Do I love difficult people? It's easy to love easy people, but do I love difficult people? Can I offer love? Do I have the capacity to love? And so on and so on. When I don't want to, have I been wronged? And have I been on the side of guilt and hurt? You know, have I, have I been the one that's responsible for that, that, that guilt and shame and hurt of another individual? And have I been on the receiving end of it? Or am I both? And so all of these things we're going to get into, uh, and just a balance of transparency and authenticity throughout this, this, this season. So I encourage you to plug end. And like I say once again, we are going to touch on some leadership things because that subject is near and dear to my heart, my favorite thing to study by far, uh, outside of the Bible itself. And so I just want to encourage you, I know this is kind of a long trailer, but I just want to kind of give you some context to it because I haven't been on since January 10th of this year. But season 6 is coming this fall, and I'm really looking forward to connecting with you all. And, and the last point I want to make on this one, I really appreciate you all for continuing to share and rock with these episodes. I went in there and checked the numbers because I haven't been doing anything, and it's like it's starting to grow even more legs on its own. And so that's— and I've been kind of getting hit, hey, when you're gonna, when you're gonna kind of come back and start plugging more into this? And so I'm here, I'm back. Season 6 is coming, and I encourage you to just subscribe if you already haven't. So listen, you all, be blessed. I love you all, and just bear with me about a few more weeks to a month, and Season 6 will be kicking off soon. Hey, what's up?
