Let's go make shit happen. What's up, guys? Welcome back to the podcast. Thank you for being here. This is our bonus episode, a recap of the month of January. I'm going to spill all the tea, everything that I'm doing, some shifts that I'm making in my business, things that have been happening for me. Giving you all the life updates, all the things. So I make a list every single month, and then by the time it's the end of the month and I go back to the list, I'm like, was that this month? That feels like forever ago. So we're just gonna start at the top of this list and I'll take you through kind of the life updates and all of the things. I've also been making some major changes in my business, which I'm excited to kind of chat about and share with you some of the behind the scenes of what's going what's been going on with that and just kind of like where my head is at with all of it. But the first random thing that's on this list is that I made an Amazon storefront and I every single year, I mean, I've had like the account for so long to do this, but I always just like kept putting it off and was taking forever to actually just put my products in my little Amazon storefront. But I finally did it in that like twilight time between like Christmas and New Year's, I was like, okay, I have free time, I'm off of work, I'm finally going to make this thing. So I did. So if you guys want to shop some of my favorite stuff, it's at the link in my bio on Instagram. We can also link it in the show notes here for you. But I created a couple of different categories. There's like health and wellness stuff, a bunch of the just like supplements and tools and other things that I like to use for like sleep routines and Even there's some workout stuff in there and just some health things and my favorite probiotics in there and the collagen that I like to use and the tongue scraper that I use and that kind of stuff. I also made one for books. So if you've ever wanted my book recommendations, this is the place to go because I do get DMs sometimes of like, what book? What books would you recommend? And when someone asks you like, what's your favorite movie or what's your favorite book? And suddenly every movie and every book that you've ever seen, touched, heard of, or read is erased from your mind and you have no recollection of anything. That's what always happens to me when people are like, what should I read? I'm like, fuck, I know I have a million things that I could recommend to you, but I suddenly forgot all of them. So now there's a bunch of them in this book's, in this book's like category in my Amazon storefront. I will say there's a mix in there of fiction and nonfiction. So there are a bunch of like my personal development faves, spirituality, money, like that kind of stuff. But also there are some of my favorite, like, books that I've just read for leisure because I've talked about this before, but I stopped consuming personal development content. I stopped reading personal development books, listening to personal development podcasts, like all the things for a while. Um, it's been like 2 years, I would say, and I've just recently kind of started to dabble back a little bit. Um, mostly with like podcasts, not so much books yet, but yeah, I just got to a point in journey of like so much overconsumption where it was giving me anxiety. It actually wasn't helping me, it was just making things worse. So I transitioned into just like reading for fun and reading some fiction books. So I included some of my favorites of those in the books category as well. And then there's like a spirituality one where I've put in there a bunch of my favorite kind of like oracle cards, notebooks, other like spiritual books and spell books and affirmation things and astrology things and just kind of, yeah, all the things in the spirituality realm. And then there's a skincare one. So if you want to steal my whole skincare routine, which I'm not sure if you do— I don't have the best skin, but as you guys know, I've been like on a journey. I'm working on it. It has improved so much. But everything that I've put in here is stuff that my actual, um, nutritionist and holistic practitioner and acne coach recommended to me. So these are not products that I just chose like willy-nilly by myself because I felt like it. These are things that someone who actually knows what the fuck she's talking about recommended to me. And there are things that I've been using for like over a year. So if you want to go peep some of those products, they're in the skincare tab. And then there's one more about like home and office. So I included some of the stuff that I use in my business, like the microphone that I use for the podcast and some other tools and things like that, but also just some random house stuff, things that I have like the coffee maker that I think is so cute that I have in my kitchen. Um, some organizer bins. If you guys followed the journey of buying the house last year and furnishing it, I literally spent like over $500 on like organizational like bins, those like clear plastic bins to organize absolutely every area, every cabinet, every bathroom, every under sink area. So I've linked, um, some of my favorites of those, like straws that I love, just stuff like that. So fun stuff. If you wanna go have a gander, um, you can take a look at my Amazon storefront and see if you like anything. I also got new patio furniture, which you know that you're an adult when that's like the thing that excites you. That's what I got for my birthday. So when my parents were here in December, we went shopping and we picked out some patio furniture.. And we did a little 50/50 between my dad and I, but that was like my, my birthday gift was the new patio furniture. Because we, the, the, like, I guess it's not like a patio because a patio to me is like when it's actually on the ground, but we live in an apartment. So it's like a terrace or like a balcony, whatever you want to call it. But it's pretty big. Like, it's very, very spacious. So I was tired of looking at it and having it just be this like empty space. I wanted to really be able to enjoy it and like sit out there. Also, the sunsets, like the view from there is absolutely insane. The sunsets over the canals and you can see like the boats passing in the water and just palm trees. And you can also see the skyline of Fort Lauderdale and the sunsets right there over the water. And that's the view that we have from our terrace. So I'm like, I want to sit out here like with a drink and like enjoy this. So I got some patio furniture. I was so hyped about it and it looks so cute and it totally transformed the entire space. So I love that. That's a random little life update. We submitted our final evidence for our immigration process for Jaime, which is like, ah, exciting and terrifying. So basically, from my understanding, was we had a request for— we had an additional request for evidence. So when we originally applied for the green card, we had to submit all kinds of evidence of our finances, our life, our relationship, photos, testimonies from people that know us, all the things. And then they kind of came back and they wanted— they requested some further evidence for certain dates of things. And so once we put that package together and got everything, and Jaime also did his, his health check. So, you know, you have to go to the doctor and they have to review all of your, like, health history and your vaccinations and all that kind of stuff. And so we got that, we got through that part of the process, and then we submitted our final evidence of everything else that they requested. And what it said in the letter was like, make sure that you send everything in one package because once we get this, it's the last thing that we'll look at. And then you get a final decision after that, either like a yes or a no for the green card. So send your prayers, send your good energy. Like, I guess it's— we're surrendering it now. We are leaving it up to the beautiful, lovely, amazing humans that work in immigration in the US and hoping that we get a favorable result or that they might request an interview at like the embassy or something like that. But our lawyer told us that sometimes if the evidence is strong enough that they already have, they don't make you do the interview. So we'll see what happens with that. But that's been like— we've been doing this process since April, like, it's been of last year, of 2022. So it's been a long— it's been a long road, and it kind of feels good to like have it out of our hands now of just like, okay, like, it is what it is. Like, we'll see what happens, and just like surrendering that. So, um, feeling good about it. Like, I feel really positive about it, and I'm excited, but also it's just like nervous of like, ah, like, what could happen? So there's that. That was like a big thing that happened for us, um, in the month of January. I also ran the Reset Challenge for the third time. This is how I always kick off the new year with this Reset Challenge where we do movement and meditation and manifestation challenges every day for 10 days to start off the new year. And once again, it was so much fun. And I actually really needed it myself this year. So I did the whole challenge alongside the women who joined. There was around 100 people that joined us. So it was a really fun, like high-energy group. And it was just good to like have that accountability of getting those practices in and making time for ourselves at the start of the new year. So that made me feel really good because I've been on such a— ever since I— ever since my business started really taking off and I got really busy in like entrepreneurship, it's been such a challenge for me, like balancing movement in my daily schedule because I'm not someone who— I know some people like they really need their daily movement in order to be in a good mood or to feel good. And I don't really need it. It obviously does make me feel good, but I don't like— it's not one of those things that's been like a non-negotiable for me of like I have to work out or I have to move my body. And I'm, I'm not trying to like make that be my story if it's not naturally who I am. But I do. I do enjoy having a little bit more of consistency and routine with it because if I don't have a routine at all, it just doesn't happen. I could go literally weeks or months without working out and I would be fine. Obviously, it's not ideal for your health, but I would be fine. I'm fine with my body image. I'm fine with how I feel about myself. I'm fine with my energy levels. I'm fine with my mental health and my happiness. I literally don't—
like, I don't really need it in the same way that some people might.
And so that's why I have to— I have to have some sort of like baseline routine or else I really can just like let it go and there's no real like consequence to it. I guess I think that's the biggest thing is if there were a real consequence in how I felt about myself or how I felt mentally, or if like my energy was super low or like there were these physical things that started happening for me, then maybe I would be like more motivated to, to do it all the time or to like be more consistent with it. But there's— I don't really notice that there's much like consequence for me, which is then dangerous because I'm really motivated by consequences. Unfortunately, you might notice that about yourself. You're like, well, if something bad is going to happen, then I will probably do it. But if everything just sort of stays the same and it's neither here nor there if I do it or not, or I don't notice that much of a difference, then I'm not really going to be that motivated. So it was just good to like have this challenge and get me back into this routine of waking up on time, like waking up to my alarm movement first thing in the morning. If I don't do it like early in the day, I'm just real— I just know myself and I'm very likely to just not do it. And that's part of like self-awareness. So that was really, really good and it was making me feel very like high vibe, high energy. Like I think I got back into that feeling of noticing, oh yeah, there is like a difference of when I move. I also get some of my best like ideas for content and business and that type of stuff when I'm working out. And you have like that like fun, high vibe music playing and you're just kind of like in your zone. You start to feel powerful. Like all of— I get so many content ideas when I'm doing that. And so if you're in a dry season of creativity, maybe you want to move your body and put some good music on like that always helps me. So anyway, the reset challenge was so much fun. It was a great way for me to start the new year and it was just fun to have all those women join me and feel that same sort of like energy to bring us into 2023. Jaime's parents also came to visit us all the way from Spain, which was exciting because we haven't seen them in just over a year since we left Spain last January, like early January. So yeah, it's also been a year since we've been in the States, which is crazy. If you guys have been following along since then or you've been on the journey, I just— I don't know, it doesn't feel like it's been a whole year that we've been here already. It's absolutely wild, but time flies. 2022 was such a crazy year for us. So busy, so many things happening, so many changes, so much upheaval.
Like, I feel like I'm finally taking some deep breaths and actually feeling like I've Okay, so I have something I think you're really going to love and your business is going to love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram Stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales, but if your Instagram Stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on stories isn't about how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing. And the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look-at-me content and calling it authority, sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story-selling sequence designed to drive demand and convert sales. We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more. You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is gonna give you 5 high-converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides from authority building all the way to offer flow. In less than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under 6 hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy.
You already know your offer's incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is.
Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next story your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside.
Landed, which feels so nice, but it's crazy to think that it's been a year of us being back home in America now. So his parents came to visit us, which is awesome. At the time of recording this, they're still here, but they leave tomorrow. But it was just really good to see them, and I think he needed that too for his own, like, spirits and morale. Obviously, when you're in this— I don't know, you guys might not know this— when you're in the immigration process, you can't leave the country, so you can't really travel or, like, go anywhere or do anything. So he can't, um, he can't visit people, so they have to come— they have to come here if they want to see him. So he's been, like, a year without seeing any family or friends or anything like that. So that was really— that was really good for him. And I'm happy that they were able to come and just see where we live and enjoy the sunny weather because it's freezing in Madrid right now and it's still hot as balls, you guys, here in Florida. I don't know, like, I feel like I, I was not prepared for what I was signing up for. I love it, don't get me wrong, I love it, but I really truly thought the temperature was going to drop at least a little bit in the wintertime. Like, it is still 85 degrees, like hot summer sun, like We've had like a few days here and there where it's gotten chilly, but man, I don't know, it's, it's interesting being in like a summer all year round type place. But yeah, what else has gone on this month? So I started working with my coach again, one of my old coaches that I worked with in 2021. I started working with her again and returning to one-on-one mentorship. So I think I told you guys this, but I took the entire year of 2022 off of one-on-one business mentorship. I was working with a nutritionist and hypnotherapist, and I was doing some other like personal work with coaches. But I did not have a one-on-one business mentor for the entire year of 2022. And I did that intentionally just because I felt like I was at a place where I really wanted to implement and take all the things that I was growing so fast, like 2021 was such an explosive year for me in my business and like growing really fast and gaining tons of knowledge and getting in all kinds of expansive spaces. And so when 2022 rolled around, I was like, okay, I really want to take a breath and make sure that I'm getting everything out of what I've learned instead of just like trying to go on to the next big thing and cover up all of the strategy and all the systems and, and everything that I learned in 2021 with like the next new thing, like actually giving myself time to do and implement what it is that I learned and do it on my own and see how I went with it and, and notice like how I was able to grow my business on my own and just see the changes and actually just have more perspective for what I actually needed or desired guidance for in my business before jumping in, um, with another coach in a one-on-one capacity. So I've been in masterminds and in groups and things like that, but I just wasn't working one-on-one with a coach in 2022. So at the start of 2023, I knew it was time again. Like, I was really excited. I was feeling that, like, craving, that desire of, of not even, like, needing a mentor or, like, needing coaching because, like, things are going wrong or, like, I have problems in my business, which I love. Like, just seeing how, how you're, like, psyche evolves as a business owner too, and just, like, the difference of what you would like a coach for versus like what maybe you once needed a coach for. And so I got to the start of this year and I was like, not, not needing— like I could have gone more time probably without a one-on-one coach, but I didn't want to. I was just like, I was ready again.
I was hungry again.
I was in that mode of like, yes, let's like do this. I'm ready to like explode again and like grow and share and like step into my next evolution. And, and I just wanted to have that person like alongside that journey with me that could help facilitate it and inspire me and, yeah, provide the accountability and all the things that come with one-on-one coaching. So I jumped in with my coach again, which I'm so excited about, and I, I'm so happy. I'm loving it so much. And I'm already— we're already creating like so many shifts, which is awesome. So I'm refining my content and upleveling my brand and just really taking all of the momentum that I've built over the last few years in my business and letting it catapult me into my next echelon. Like, it kind of feels like I'm reinventing myself, which I don't know if that's the right word because it's not like a whole— it's not like I've always been who I am and I will always be who I am. But it is this sort of like, I don't know, like reinvention type vibe of I just feel so different and I'm approaching business so differently. And instead of feeling like, a quote unquote like follower, for lack of a better word, in this industry, like trying to learn how to do things and grow. And I just feel like I'm my own leader now with my own unique processes and my own unique ideas. And I don't need to see what other people are doing in order to know where I stand or how I want to do things or what my unique creative process is and what works for me and I don't know, like how I want to show up as a mentor just for myself. It just feels like a new— yeah, it feels like a new level. So part of that stepping into this next, like, echelon of my brand and my mission is that I made a really hard choice this month, which was to decide that this last round of From Burnt Out to Badass, which will be the 10th round of this program, is going to be the last time that I run it live with coaching calls with me and the group element of the women going through it at the same time. The program will continue to exist moving forward, but just in a prerecorded format, like a self-study type course that you can go through and take yourself through that transformative journey. But I didn't expect to— when I made the decision and I didn't— I wasn't even planning on this. Like when I made my plan for my business this year, I fully had like like my two launches of From Burnt Out to Badass, like programmed in. I knew the months where they were going to be, like rinse and repeat. And so I had no idea that this last launch would be the last one. But as I was, as I was moving through the launch, I just started to feel this resistance because so much of this like next level of my business and my business coaching and mentorship was ready to come through me. And like I said, I felt that hunger and that drive and like really standing in my next level. And there was just a disconnect between the type of content that I needed to share or like the messages that matched with From Burnt Out to Badass that don't necessarily match with the other things that I'm doing in my business or that I'm desiring to create moving forward. Like this year in— or last year in September, I had a really strong download for my next program. That was like so ready to come through. But like I said, 2022 was just a crazy year. There was so much going on personally between like our house and immigration and moving and all the things that I was in. Again, I was in the gym, you guys, the gym with the music, all the downloads come through. So I'm in the gym, I'm listening to my music, I'm on the treadmill and like I literally get hit with this download. Like I'm talking like program title, modules, who it's for, like ideal client. Like I just was in my Notes app on my phone, like like typing it all out. It was pouring through me. It was like, I don't even think like I was writing. It was like Spirit was like writing through me or something. It was wild. And then I looked at it and I even had like prices and everything. Like it all just downloaded like in a matter of like 20 minutes. And then I looked at it and I was like, I don't have the space to do this right now. And so I think for some time there's been these, these new offers and programs that have been wanting to come through me, but I haven't had the space for it. And now that I feel more settled in my life and in my home and in who I am as, as a business coach and as a mentor, like I'm ready for that. And it was almost like holding on to the old program of From Burned Out to Badass was— it was taking up space. And we talk about this in manifestation all the time of like creating space for the new things to drop in. And so for me, it was this massive realization during this last launch of From Burnout to Badass of like, oh my God, like, this is going to be an amazing last round. And it feels awesome that like we closed it out at like 10.0, like 10 rounds, 10 live rounds of this program. And I couldn't be more proud. But it was also like trying to hold on to this any further. Like if I were to try to keep doing this more and more and more, it would then be blocking me from being able to create the next things that want to flow through and that are ready to flow through and that have been there. Like I have this whole new program in my, in my Notes app since September, and that is, is going to be birthed this year. And so it was just about really creating the space for me to be able to move into that next phase of the kind of content that I want to create and the kind of clients that I want to attract and all of that. And so I posted a reel sharing about it because I didn't I didn't think that I would get like emotional about the decision to not run from Burnt Out to Badass Live anymore. But I was sitting in my room and I was just talking to Jaime about it and I literally started like crying and just, I don't know, like bawling my eyes out. And so I posted a reel just like sharing some of the behind the scenes of what that, that process was like. And it was just like it wasn't necessarily sadness, but it was more like pride and, and nostalgia of like, From Burnt Out to Badass is, is everything to me because I wouldn't be— I wouldn't have any of the things that I have without that program. I wouldn't be the woman that I am. I wouldn't have the self-confidence that I do. I wouldn't have the business that I do. I wouldn't, I wouldn't have this home. I wouldn't have any of the things that are present for me in my life, both both physically and emotionally, spiritually. I would not be where I am or who I am without that program.

And so it was more than just like, oh, I'm not going to run this anymore. It was like this really big, almost like monumentous moment of like closing the chapter on that old version of me and having so much like reverence and respect and adoration and love for that past version of me and gratitude, so much gratitude. And just thinking about the hundreds of women that have gone through that program after me and had the same sort of feeling of like, my life would not be the same if I hadn't made that choice, if I hadn't taken that course with you. Like, and that's the thing that kept me glued to that program for so long. Was I would go back through the testimonials and I would, and I would read these women's words of like how much this program changed their life, like a clear before and after. And whether it was marriages or pregnancies or, you know, career shifts or just attracting so much more abundance in their life, giving them the sense of freedom or really being able to look in the mirror and love themselves and confidence and all of that, like it didn't matter what it was. It was just every single time I would go back to those testimonials, I'd be like, I have to keep doing this. I felt like the work was so important and it was so transformative that like it was almost selfish of me to want to retire the program because I wanted to move on in my business in a sense. And I was like, no, I have to, I have to keep doing this work. It's so important. It's changing people's lives. Like, look at this. Like, how could you ever stop doing this? And And that's like what really kept me glued to that program for so long. And even last year, like last January, January 2022, when we did the From Burnt Out to Badass, I think even then I was like, I think this is going to be the last live round. And I really, I really felt like that was true and like that I was going to honor my word for that. And then Throughout the year, I got sucked back in and I changed my mind. I read the testimonials and I got emotional and I was like, no, I have to keep doing this. We're going to do it again. And maybe we'll just adjust, you know, how I show up inside the container and the amount of coaching calls and things like that to make it more doable for me so that I can focus on other projects as well. And then just after a year of that, it was just— it was really clear this year of like, in order to really move onward and upward with the brand and my mission and the type of client that I want to serve, I have to be willing to, like, close the doors on this. And maybe that was the reason it was so hard for me before, was like, it felt like closing the doors on, on a version of me and on something that I knew was so impactful. Right. And I wrote in that post under that reel, like, ego tells me that I will never be able to create something this impactful again. But I know that that's not true. And I know that this is just the beginning. Really of what I'm able to do and create and how I can impact women's lives. And I'm just simply being asked to let go so that I can create space for the next evolution of my mission, which has been an assignment that I've been avoiding for over a year now because I felt that like knocking on my door in January of 2022, like this, this, this should be the last time so that you can grow and evolve and focus on other projects. But then I wasn't able I wasn't able to let go. So the time came and I made the decision because I realized that holding on to it for the sake of others and wanting to provide that transformation for other people moving forward was going to ultimately postpone my own growth or stifle the magic of what wants to flow through me and these, these new programs and these new ideas and these new things that are also going to change people's lives. So that was a huge That was a huge thing this month, just realizing new things are desiring to be created. And as I always talk about in the manifestation process, we have to be willing to create the space. And creating the space requires letting go. And letting go is hard. And so we can, you know, there's a lot of resistance to it sometimes. But I made that choice. And so, yeah, that's what it is now. We're moving forward. Some other exciting things. That have been happening. I had two reels that went viral, which was really random. But this one reel like got up to over a million downloads. I think right now it's at like 1.4 million— sorry, not downloads, views. I'm in podcast mode. 1.4 million views, which was so crazy. And then right after that, another one, like at the time of recording this, it's at almost 900,000 views. So I don't know, that one might hit a million too. I don't know. But But what's so funny about this, and I wanted to tell you the story because it's like, you guys are my people and you will like the spirituality and like the divine timing of this is just so hilarious. So I've every year in January at the start of the year, I sit down and I do my yearly business plan and I set some goals for myself and like the intention for the year and I give myself a word and all the things, right. I don't— I try not to focus that much on metrics on Instagram because I know there's so many factors and it's almost impossible for us to decipher nowadays, like, what was that one ingredient of a post to understand why it did better than another one. And so I just kind of have been really in this, like, surrendered mode when it comes to content and Instagram and numbers. But at the start of every year, I do like to set a goal of of, you know, the amount of followers I'd like to attract and just have that as kind of like a benchmark and put it out to the universe, right? Because if I put out nothing, then what am I going to receive back? So I'd rather put something out and just set the intention and then move in that direction through my aligned action and see what, what unfolds. So I've set this goal of like 20,000 followers for several years now because every year I don't hit it. And so it kind of like became this like running joke that I would make with Jaime because he's always like, what are your followers at? Like, how have you grown? It's been like, it's been growth over the years, but it's been so slow and so sustainable, which is good because it's like sustainable growth is, I think, the best kind of growth because it's, you know, it's something that's going to last, right? When you have something pop off and get a million views, you're going to get a bunch of new followers. But who knows how aligned those people are and where they came from and if they even give a shit about what work you're doing or if they're going to unfollow you in 2 weeks anyway.. And so I haven't been mad necessarily about the slow sustainable growth, but I have kind of felt like, okay, it's really dragging. Like, okay, come on, right? And so we have this joke, right, of like, well, the goal is 20,000 again this year because it's been like that for several years. And so at the start of the year, I had like 17, almost 18,000 followers. And Jaime is like, what's your goal again for this year? 20K? Like, hahaha, we made this joke, right? And then literally, like, the next day, or the day— it was like within a day or two, this one reel started, like, popping off and, like, going viral. And it wasn't, like, right when I posted it, it was, like, a little bit afterwards. And it was, it was, like, 100,000 views, 200,000, 300,000, 400,000, 500,000. And we were like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, is this gonna, like, get to a million? No, no, there's no way this can get to a million. And then it was, like, 800, 900. I'm Oh my God, it's literally going to get a million views. Like, what the fuck? So that happened. And then that, of course, drove traffic to my page. And so the follower count was also going up. And so I kid you not, within a matter of days of me like making this joke about hahaha, like 20,000 again this year for followers because I never hit it, the universe was like, sit down, shut the fuck up. I'm going to show you what's possible. And my followers just kept going up like by the thousands. So as I record, this is at 26K, but it's, it's going up like by the hundreds every day because of these, because of primarily because of these two viral reels. But that was just like wild and funny and just like serendipitous of like, of course I say out loud like how hard it is to like hit the 20K or like that. I'm— that's my goal again for this year.
Hahaha.
And then the universe is like, yeah, okay, I'll show you. Just watch. So that was funny and it's been interesting. I also noticed like some interesting things coming up for me when that was happening of like almost wanting it to stop. And I shared this with the girls that I'm in a mastermind group with and I was like, oh, I want to do like some shadow work around this because I'm— I could feel this like like, not anxiety, but like this, like, impending nervousness of like, what is going to happen if this doesn't stop? And I think like, the more viral something goes, the wider of a net you're casting in the internet world. And so of course, you're going to get— it's going to reach people that have no context for who you are or what you do. It's going to— there's going to be hateful, ignorant, sexist comments in the comment section. Like, you just open yourself up to a whole different version of the internet when something goes viral. Like, when you're in your little, like, community bubble of, like, the people that follow you and get you, everything is fine and dandy. When something goes viral, you're like, oh my God, the internet is literally a feral fucking place. Like, what the actual fuck? And so that was kind of terrifying. It was kind of scary. Like, and then also seeing seeing a bunch of people following me that were like men with like weird pictures and like scary things of like guns and just fucking weird shit on their profiles. Or like all the accounts with like no profile picture and you're like, well, you're definitely either a bot or a scammer or some sort of other person who's just using this account to creep on the internet. So I was like getting nervous almost of like, I kind of— I want this to stop. And at one point the other day, I actually archived one of the reels because it was, it was more about like my business. It was sharing 10 lessons that I've learned in business to scale to nearly the 7-figure level because Samantha Daly as a, as a brand, as a company, is on track to hit $1 million in all-time gross revenue this year quite soon. And I was just sharing like the 10 lessons that I've learned in scaling a business to this level. But of course, whenever you talk about money, if that goes viral and reaches the wrong people that don't have the right mindset to be able to digest that content or be happy for you or be celebratory or be inspired. You instead get people that immediately just want to tear you down and hate on you, right? And so it's the comments like assuming that my business is OnlyFans or telling me that I'm a liar and that I'm making false claims or that my business isn't real or that Instagram isn't a real job and like your work is not meaningful and you're an Instagram influencer, like you're not important, you don't do anything valuable. Like, it's just all of these assumptions. Of course, all of them were from men who were just really triggered by this imagery of like female success and the fact that a woman could be this successful online with a business of her own that is an expression of her authentic self. I think that's really it, right? Because if I was showing up on Instagram in a suit and I was teaching something that they that they already knew or that they could understand about like investing or something like that, they might see it as more legitimate. But because the online coaching space is this kind of like alternative world and it is like very involved in personal development and what I talk about specifically is like so infused with spirituality and it's like they just don't— they're not— they haven't grown their consciousness to a place yet where they can look at that and see it as legitimate. And so it's extremely triggering to them and you get you just get all kinds of stuff. And so it was interesting for me to notice that and notice my own fears coming up of like, oh my God, like, what if this doesn't stop? Like, who are all these people? Like, is this like, do I even want this? Like, lots of— and I think that was such an eye-opening moment of, again, I've talked about this before, like, are you even available for your dream life? Are you even available for your dream business? Are you even available for the amount of abundance that you keep saying that you want to attract? And there's a lot of us who are building businesses online online. And of course, we're like, oh, it would be awesome to have 100,000, 200,000, 300,000, 1 million, 5 million followers, because then it would open up so many doors and you'd have so many opportunities. It would be so much easier to sell things and make an impact and touch people's lives and all that stuff. But there is a real element in that of like, are you even available for that in the sense of can you hold it? And it was just so like eye-opening for me to be like, whoa, can I even hold? Maybe that's why I've been growing so slowly and sustainably, because I had to be— I had to get myself— the universe had to help mold me, right? Like I'm the clay, mold me into a version of myself in which I would be able to handle that next level. And so this could look like social media or not, like take this with for whatever it means for you in your life. But like sometimes we keep asking or praying or setting the intention to receive these huge, massive blessings when the reality is like you might not know what God, Source, Universe knows, which is that you're not ready to hold that yet. And so more things need to happen, more growth needs to happen before you can get to the place of actually being able to hold that blessing. So that was like huge for me. And I think that's just a larger conversation and lesson to be taken away from something so trivial as like having two reels go viral. But anyway, that was the point of me sharing that with you. I felt like it was valuable. So yeah, like I'm just in this, in this, in this place in my business where I feel like the brand is really evolving and things are starting to shift and take off a lot. And I'm realizing how much I've truly learned and mastered and grown in business and how much I have to offer and how much I can really help women in business, especially in the, in the coaching sector. So I'm excited to, you know, help these more established coaches like at the six-figure level manage everything that comes with success of that caliber. Right. Which is not only, of course, the obvious of like, yeah, you want to grow and scale your business to keep like making more money and making more impact. But it's also like, how do you stay true to yourself in this industry and figuring out what methods you want to adopt and what actually just doesn't make sense for you? Like there's some things out there that, that, that other people are doing that you're getting to a point in your business where you're realizing that is awesome and it works for them, but it just doesn't make sense for me. It just doesn't align with my values or it just doesn't match my creative process. Like really being in that space, which is It's just, it's just different. I don't know how— I don't know if I'm describing it in the way that I want to, but it's like, yeah, understanding how to grow and scale your business from a monetary level and like from an impact perspective, but more of like the nuance that comes with this like high-caliber success, how to manage the emotional turmoil of the ups and downs and starting to get hate online, like those comments and things like that, or becoming like this sort of alien to the people around you because no one really can relate. No one really gets it anymore. Like people just can't keep up with how quickly you're evolving and they don't understand necessarily the work that you're doing. They don't even understand like what you, what you do in the behind the scenes of your business, let alone like the money that you're making and how to navigate all of the implications of that. And how to build sustainably long-term in your coaching business and not just burn out because you're launching and selling all the time and always in creation and always having to put out new things. So that's kind of like my vibe, my energy of like the work that I'm desiring to do with my clients moving forward. And I, I never mess around with my bio. My bio on Instagram has been the same for years, you guys. Like, I almost never tweak it or mess with it at all. So, you know, if I've changed my bio, it means I've unlocked a whole new character that is about to be revealed and something, something different is coming. So I'm feeling stoked for the year ahead and just like there's magic at my fingertips and things are really like taking off and becoming extra magnetic and it's a really exciting time and I'm excited to bring you along for the journey. You know, I don't like to gatekeep it all, so I will be keeping you in the behind the scenes and the unfolding of it all as we move forward. So that is my update. That is the whole BTS of my month of January. Lots of shifts, lots of changes, lots of up-levels, mindset stuff that came up, just reinvention of self and of business and of who I'm ready to serve.
