BONUS EP: Manifestation Miracles, House Buying DRAMA & Following Your Intuition
1 Aug 2022 · 27 min
In this solo bonus episode of the Makeshift Happen podcast, host Samantha Daly shares a wide‑range of personal updates and insights. She opens with promotional reminders for her upcoming Dominican Republic Dream Life Immersion retreat, a free Lion’s Gate abundance activation Zoom workshop, and a limited one‑on‑one business mentorship slot. She then recounts a recent New York City trip with her assistant/astrologer Lori, describing the sights, the 9/11 Memorial visit, and the joy of experiencing the city with financial abundance. Daly discusses a spiritual encounter with angel‑medium Julie Jancis, who delivered a message from her late grandmother about fertility and timing. She reflects on her ambivalence about motherhood, balancing entrepreneurial ambitions, travel desires, and personal readiness. The core of the episode details the stressful house‑buying process in South Florida: HOA approval hurdles, an emotional‑support‑animal dispute, mortgage financing challenges, and a last‑minute IRS balance issue that resolved after she heeded an intuitive “333” sign. These events are framed as manifestation miracles, illustrating the power of calm confidence, intuition, and spiritual guidance. Daly concludes with a list of current loves—Colleen Hoover’s novel Verity, Tarte’s Maracuyá Juicy Lip gloss, Pinterest‑driven home décor planning, regular chiropractic care, and her reMarkable digital notebook—while reminding listeners to engage with the show’s giveaway, share the episode, and consider the upcoming retreat and mentorship offers.

What's up guys, welcome back to the podcast. We are here with another bonus episode coming at you. So if you love my solo episodes where I just jam on life and everything that's happening, stories of what's been going on in my life lately, things I'm loving, my perspective, manifestation, all the things, this episode is going to be for you. So stick around, we're going to chat about 3 different things in this episode. At least that's what I have planned. I don't know, we'll see where the conversation takes me as I sit here and talk to myself. But I want to give you guys some major life updates about trips that I've taken, spiritual experiences I've had recently. I'm moving. Everything that's like the drama of everything that's been happening with buying this house. And then we're going to talk about some serious manifestation miracles that have dropped in for me in the month of July. And then I'm going to give you a list of things that I'm really loving recently. So that's what we have in store for today's episode. Before we dive in, I have just a few quick reminders. There is just a few spots left for our Dream Life Immersion Retreat in the Dominican Republic, December 9th to the 13th. If you've been thinking about coming and joining us for this immersive, spiritual, life-changing, expansive experience, now is the time. There's only a few spots left, so do not wait to book your room on the retreat. It's all-inclusive, so the price that you see on the sales page is, you know, includes all of your food, drinks, the excursions, all the workshops, the activations. Everything that we're going to be doing together during those 5 days is all included in that price. And of course, your accommodation— we're staying in this amazing villa right on the waterfront. You can walk right out from your room onto the sand, the white sands of the Dominican Republic. The water is going to be amazing. We have a big infinity pool, we have a chef. It's going to be the best time ever. So just a few spots left for that. The other thing is there's a free abundance activation workshop happening on Zoom, so anybody is welcome to join, and this is totally free. We're doing this on the Lion's Gate, so this is August 8th, 8/8. This is a really powerful manifestation portal. This is said to be the most powerful day of the year to manifest. So just like I did last year, I'm going to host a free event on Zoom. Everybody that wants to come can sign up and join. I will leave the link in the show notes for you guys to secure your spot, and you can also find the link for that in my bio on Instagram at _samanthadaily. But we're going to be doing some abundance activations. It's going to be interactive. I'm going to teach you guys some stuff about accessing the frequency of wealth, but then we're also going to actually do some of this work. So I'm going to give you prompts. I'm going to set aside time for us to actually do the activations, visualize together, meditate. We're going to do a somatic healing experience. So you'll want to be there. It's totally free. It's on 8/8. If you can't come live, there will be a recording. But trust me, you will want to be there live because the energy is going to be potent as we sit together as a massive collective and call in and channel that manifestation energy that is alive and well on the Lion's Gate. So go sign up for the Abundance Activation Workshop on the Lion's Gate. Click the link in the description below or head to Instagram, go to my profile and click the link in my bio. The last reminder is that there, at the time of recording this, there is still one open space available for any current coaches who are seeking one-on-one private business mentorship. So this is my most intimate, most high-touch container. This is where we really get to sit together for 3 months, one-on-one. We meet every single week. We go deep into your business, the backend, your programs, offers, how you're tracking things, how you want to scale, growing your audience, building courses, everything that you are wanting to work on that you would love some assistance and some extra set of hands and eyes on. That's who this experience is really for. It's for current coaches who already have a coaching business that's up and running. Maybe you've only taken a couple of clients so far, but if you know that you really want to scale and grow your coaching business in a fast-track way, then this is the type of mentorship for you. And I've got one space available, available for us to start in August. So this month we would start together. It's an incredible experience. If you're curious about it, you can also see my saved highlights on my Instagram story. There's tons of testimonials from women that I've worked with and all of their incredible wins and the ways that they've transformed their business in this container. So that concludes my reminders for this week, and let's get into the episode.

Let's go make shift happen. All right, we're going to start off with some life updates, and I'm just going to fill you guys in on what has been happening in the month of July. I really love these bonus episodes, but also I feel like so much happens that by the time I get to the end of the month, I'm like, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, besties, we need to talk because So much has gone down. So at the start of the month or early in the month, I took a trip to New York City, which maybe you guys saw some of that journey on Instagram Stories or some of my reels. But I actually met up with my assistant Lori, who many of you guys know if you're in my world, if you're clients or past clients or, you know, you've worked with me in any way, you will have communicated with Lori. And lots of you will know Lori from our monthly vibe check emails and Instagram Lives. Laurie is an astrologer, so she also is our kind of in-house resident astrologer for Samantha Daly, and she does our astro reports every month. And then we do a live video together giving you guys the updates of the new astrological season. Right now, obviously, we're in Leo season, so, you know, we'll talk about what that means and what kind of energy is available to us. And then we unpack all of the different transits and main moon phases that are happening for everybody to know about and what's important and some rituals that you can practice and all those things. So you may have seen Lori from there, but she's my beloved friend and assistant, and we've actually never met in real life. How crazy is that? Because she's from Australia. So Lori started out as one of my clients. She took From Burnt Out to Badass 3.0 a couple of years back, and, you know, she's done a bunch of my other programs. We work together one-on-one, and then eventually when she started doing this kind of work, I hired her on as my assistant and our resident in-house astrologer. So we've worked together for a long time in multiple different capacities, but we never have had the chance to meet in person because we've been so far away and, you know, pandemic life. So it was so much fun to get to go and meet her in New York City. She was doing a big trip all over the US and, and to London. And so I was like, you know what, she was down here in North Carolina actually, and I was like, we have to go somewhere fun. And her flight, uh, to the UK left out of New York, and I'm like, what a shame if you literally just flew to New York to then get on another plane and leave the US without seeing New York City. I'm like, I'm taking you to New York City, I'm booking the hotel, like, we're doing it. So we took a trip to New York City and it was so much freaking fun together. Like, honestly, one of my favorite things I've done this year. And I wasn't sure because I'm not like a huge New York City person. I don't really like love the craziness and the hustle and bustle of like big, big cities like that. And I've been to New York a couple of times, and it's New York. Like, New York is New York. It's obviously always epic, and it's just like— it— this— it's its own— it's its own breed of cities or experiences that you could have. But I'm not like a huge New York person. Like, I don't think I could ever like live New York City. But honestly, this trip felt so good. We had so much fun. We were just like living our best lives. And I think the biggest difference probably being in New York this time is that I have the financial ability and abundance to actually enjoy everything that New York has to offer. When you go to New York and you're poor, which is every other time I've ever been to New York, it's not as fun because everything is so expensive and you're just like stressed the whole time about, you know, an Uber is like $70 and every— you're just like, ah, like you can't do all the fun things that you really wanna do because you're bound by financial limitations. So it was really, really fun. And I think that's one of the biggest differences was it just felt like we could do anything, we could go anywhere, we could have anything that we wanted. And that was such a blessing to be able to experience New York in that way. Because I was saying to Lori, I'm like, I feel like the best era of your life to live in New York City would be when you're like in your early 20s, you're single, you're still like so ready to go out and party and do all the things that New York has to offer. But not many people in their early 20s have the financial abundance to be able to live in a livable way in New York, you know, like if you're in your early 20s and you go to live in New York, you probably live in a tiny shitty-ass apartment and, you know, you kind of have to like scrape pennies together to go out to dinner and it's just like not really a vibe. So at this point in my life, I'm like, I don't think I'd want to live in New York because it's just a little too chaotic for me. But it would have been cool. When I was younger. I can see, I can see the, the pull, you know. I didn't really see the pull too much before that, but I can see it, okay. I see why people want to go there, why people want to live there. But it was just such a fun time. We did so much like sightseeing. We went and we did the Friends Experience where you go and you, you know, you get to see the apartments where they filmed Friends and all of the props, and they have tons of like real costumes and all of the— yeah, all the props and things that they actually used on the show for so many, like, famous episodes. The weddings, like, what people wore. There's just so much cool stuff. Um, Phoebe's taxi is there. Like, it's, it's a cool experience. It's really, really cute. So we did that. We went to the 9/11 Memorial, which, for any of my U.S. Girlies, if you've never been to New York and you've never been to the World Trade Center 9/11 Museum and Memorial, I think I would go. I would go to New York just for that. Like, Lori and I did the full experience. We were in the museum for almost 3 hours, and it was the most profound, most moving experience. I cried a lot, but it was also just It was— I can't even describe it. Like, I had goosebumps the entire time. You're standing exactly where everything happened, and there's so many incredible, incredible artifacts that they have from that day and from all those planes that crashed and people's stories and voice recordings. And it's just really, really— like, seriously, 10 out of 10 recommend. You have to go and do that before you die if you are an American. I fully believe that. Um, we also went out, we went dancing, we stayed out until 5:30 in the morning, which is like not, not really our norm at all. We're both like the type of people that love self-care and to be in bed by like 10 PM. And but it was fun to just like live it up, go out. We were dancing on rooftops, drinking, cheersing, you know, like having the best time with people we've never met. We made friends with so many random strangers, like had such good conversations. We're dancing, tearing up the dance floor with people we never met before. Like, it was so much fun. We also got to do a brunch on the harbor, so we had brunch on this boat in the harbor, which was really cool, um, where we met up with one of my friends and one of my other past clients, Carly. So that was so good to just see somebody else in person that I've worked with for such a long time. I've worked with Carly. We don't work together anymore, but we, you know, I coached her for— Okay.
So I have something I think you're really going to love and your business is going to love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales, but if your Instagram stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on stories isn't about how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing. And the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look-at-me content and calling it authority, sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story selling sequence designed to drive demand and convert sales. We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more. You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is gonna give you 5 high converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides. From authority building all the way to offer flow in less than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under 6 hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy.
You already know your offer's incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is.
Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next story your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside.
Like 2 years at least, I wanna say, and saw so much of her transformation and her journey. So many career changes, so many uplevels. Um, you know, we worked together with— to get her to be able to move to New York City. And so just being able to see her there in her element, in her new career, in this new industry, on this new path, all these things that felt like so far away and so impossible when we started working together, to get to see all of that in person for her was just like— felt like a really full circle moment as a coach. So that was really cool. Um, we went shopping on Fifth Ave, which was so much fun. We both got really cute dresses and then we wore them out the next night. Like, it was just fun, fun time. So many rooftops, happy hours. We went to a comedy show, which was great. Açaí Bowl, Central Park, like the whole thing. The trip was honestly just so life-giving. So if you have been craving travel and it hasn't been accessible to you over the past couple of years because of the pandemic and everything, here's your reminder to just book the trip. Like, seriously, money will come back to you, but you will never get— you can't replace experiences like that. So book the trip, book the flight, just go. Don't look back. You will not regret it. Like, I, I don't— I think I left a lot of money in New York City, but like, I forgot about it all already because it was more than worth it. Um, and if you're craving travel and you want to come with us and hang out with us on the retreat, Lori's going to be there Carly's going to be there. Like, honestly, the crew of people that's coming on this retreat, the women that have already signed up that are going to be there. If you're thinking about coming and you really want to make soul-lined friendships, trust me, this group of women is next level. It's going to be so freaking amazing. So if you want to travel, if you want to come, there's a few spots left. You can click the link in my bio or in the show notes and book your spot. Okay, more life updates. So You guys maybe would have heard the recent episode on the podcast with Julie Jancis, who's the angel medium. And something that was really cool was after I recorded that episode with her, as soon as we stopped the recording, she was like, oh, oh my gosh, like, I— okay, I have to tell you, like, who is the grandmother energy coming through for you? And she was kind of describing them and I was like, wow, okay, that's, you know, that's my grandma on my dad's side. And my grandma actually came through and gave me some really amazing uplifting, positive, just reaffirming messages about fertility, my timeline for having kids, and even the future success of my business. So that was just like an added thing that I was not expecting from recording the podcast with her at all. I was like shocked that, you know, she was giving me basically like a mini reading after we stopped recording. But it was so, so amazing. Because recently I've had— I've been having lots of thoughts about having kids. And not that I'm trying to have kids or get pregnant, it's actually quite the opposite. I'm like having lots of thoughts about like maybe— because I've always felt like deep in my soul, like I know that I want to be a mom. Like being a mom is part of my soul's journey. Like I, I don't want to die without having that experience. But recently I've been having so thoughts about perhaps maybe not having kids, and maybe that's not something that I want to do in this lifetime, or that's, you know, something that really aligns with my larger mission in this lifetime. And I think a lot of it obviously comes from being an entrepreneur and a business owner and having so many big goals and just so, so much that I want to accomplish and so much change that I want to create in the world and so many lives that I want to impact. And I know the amount of work that is going going to go into that and what it's going to require of me. And so it's made me— and I also want to travel a lot. Like, travel is such a core value of mine, and Jaime loves to travel as well. Like, we both just love the sense of freedom and adventure. I'm like, I'm so grateful that I have a partner who's into all the same things that I am in that respect, because it just makes it so easy for us to be like, yes, do you want to go and live in Bali for a couple of months? Do you want to go and live in Australia for a couple of months? Like, yes, it's just yeses across the board. So, you know, we have lots of big visions for the travel that we want to do and also everything that I want to create with the business. And it's made me really consider, like, maybe kids doesn't really fit into that for me. And so when my grandma came forward, what Julie shared with me, she said, you know, she has this message. She wants to let you know that she knows you've been thinking a lot about having kids and what your timeline might be for you and if that would be possible or if it would be able to happen. And she wants you to know that your timeline for all the major milestones, for everything in your life, is going to be absolutely perfect. It's all going to happen in the perfect timing for you, and you're going to have a beautiful family. And a thriving business and all the things. So obviously with, with more detail, but keeping some of it private just for me. But yeah, it was really cool to just receive that message. And so it's got me thinking, you know, maybe, maybe kids like does fit into the future for me. I don't know, but I still feel like it's so far away. Does anybody else feel like that where you're like, um, the clock is kind of ticking. Like, we're moving aggressively towards 30, and I don't feel like I want that yet. Like, I don't, don't feel ready for that. I'm just like, there's no part of me that like wants to have a child right now. And I'm very conscious of all of the women who really do want to have children. And so it makes me feel, um, yeah, it makes me feel a bit wary of like speaking about it in this way because I don't want to offend anybody that, you know, I know there's so many women that struggle with fertility and infertility and, you know, really wanting to become moms and, and struggling in that way, or wanting to become a mom but feeling like they don't have the right partner to be able to grow a family with, and, and wanting to manifest that and all of that. So super aware of that and obviously so sensitive to any woman that's experiencing that in her life. But just to share with you guys, like, the real raw truth of my experience of how I feel is like, I'm like, I don't want that. Like, I see people with young children and I think kids are really cute, but I'm just like, there's no part of me that wants to have this person attached to me that I can never take my eyes off of, that constantly needs me for everything. That doesn't allow me to sleep, that, you know, like I'm— I guess I'm still kind of in my like selfish era of really wanting to pursue my deepest desires before I'm able to really surrender myself to that experience and fully, you know, hand myself over to the experience of motherhood. Because if I were to become a mom, you know, I would obviously want to do a good job at it. I would want to be a really present mother. I would want to care for my kids in the way that I was cared for, cared for. You know, I think like my mom was such a present and devoted and nurturing mom, and I would want to do that for my kids. And I feel like the phase that I'm in in life right now doesn't fit with that, like, at all. So anyway, that's an unexpected anecdote about my life and how I feel about having kids. Other life updates. We move in 2 weeks. What the fuck? Oh my God, you guys, we move in 2 weeks. And you know what? I feel like I've been tiptoeing around the move-in date and not wanting to really like shout anything too aggressively from the mountaintops because there's been so many ups and downs in this journey. I'm going to tell you like a couple of things when we get into the manifestation miracles. But guys, this has been the most hands down without a doubt the most stressful, anxiety-inducing experience of my entire fucking life, trying to buy this house and lock this in. And a part of it is because it's South Florida, it's a condo, there's an association, there's so many rules. Like, I'm an entrepreneur, I make my own money, people are confused about what I do. Um, I lived in Spain for 6 years, so a lot of my income is foreign earned. So everybody's just like confused at like who the fuck I am, what I'm doing, how, how I have money, where it's coming from. Like, so it's a bunch of different factors that have made this just like a whole huge kerfuffle of an experience. But it's— I'm putting it out there. You know what? It's happening. We're moving in 2 weeks. Nothing else is going to come up. Nothing is going to stand in my way. Nothing is going to stop us. Nothing is going to get delayed. Everything is going to happen as it should because we deserve it. Okay. Proclaiming that, just putting that out there. That was for me. But we move in 2 weeks, which is wild. Wild. And I also can't believe that I've been in my parents' house for 7 months and it's been such a blessing and experience to, you know, after over a decade of living far from them, being able to be close to them and have dinner literally every single night. Like, I think my soul needed that closeness with my family. But I am so ready for this next chapter. I'm so ready to get into my own space and decorate everything and have my new vibe morning routine, like walks on the beach. Like, I'm just—

I'm so ready for change. I freaking love change. That's another thing in terms of spiritual experiences. If you guys remember the— the— when did I tell you guys about that? I think it was the last bonus episode about when I got lip filler and met my spirit guides. In that episode, I talk about the reading that I had with the woman who brought forward or connected with the energy of my spirit guides and kind of gave me some messages. And in that reading, my spirit guides brought forth some of my past lives and the, the relation of those past lives to some blocks that I was having about this move to Florida. And, you know, they kind of brought forward that I had this past life as a gypsy, which I know because I'm such a gypsy soul. Like, hello, I'm always wanting to be like traveling and moving around. I kind of knew that. And a past life that I had as a performer, actually a dancer that traveled around, and that was like, you know, what I did for work. And so my source of income in a lot of ways in several past lives was connected to my ability to consistently be traveling and moving around. And so there's this, this block that was coming up about actually fearing buying the, the home and moving because it felt so permanent. And so that was just something else that kind of came through that was really illuminating for me. And it was a block that I then got the opportunity to look at and clear because I obviously want to be so excited about buying this home and about moving. And I am. But there definitely is those underlying fears of what if I just like after 6 months or a year I'm bored of it and I want change because like I said, I love change. I just know that about myself. I, I just love to switch up my environment. I like things to be new. And so we'll see what happens with that. But I feel confident that I'm in a phase and space in my life where I'm really going to actually savor being in a more grounded, secure place, cuz I kind of felt— I mean, I was in Spain for a while, but the entire time that I was there, it was always like this open-ended thing of like, I never knew how long I was gonna be there. And it all depended on, you know, at the beginning, like, oh, is my relationship gonna work out? Cuz if, if that crumbles, then I'm probably gonna pack up and leave cuz I'm literally like not making any money here. So when I was teaching, um, and then later on it was just kind of like you know, is it ever going to be possible to move back to the US? I don't know. How long will we stay here? I have no idea. Would we potentially move somewhere else? I don't know. So it's always just like this open-endedness that kind of left me feeling a bit unstable. So I am excited about having a place, like a landing pad, a place that really is my own that I can anchor into, and just a place where I can ground and hopefully create some safety in my body and in my nervous system. And I'm also excited to see how change of environment and routine and having my own space affects my health. Because as you guys know, I've been on this journey. I've been working with my nutritionist for over 10 months now, really trying to heal my gut. You know, I have leaky gut. I have some, some gut dysbiosis and imbalance in bacterias, and it affects my skin a lot. I suffer with acne and dermatitis sometimes, and, you know, just a whole host of like other symptoms that come up for me from having these gut health issues. So it's going to be interesting to see how this switch of environment and actually grounding into my own place might affect my health, hopefully in a really positive way. So super excited for that. And I'm going to record another podcast episode for you guys when we actually move, just kind of giving you all of the like manifestation juicy tips and updates from how that actually was able to fall into place. So keep a lookout for that episode. Last life update, I bought the bougiest bed that I am so excited about. I am so excited about my Tempur-Pedic mattress. Jaime and I went furniture shopping the other day and we can't like get that much stuff yet because we're still in North Carolina and we don't, we're not going to bring like a moving van with us to drive down to Florida because because we don't have any other furniture because we sold all of our belongings when we left Spain. So we basically just have 6 suitcases of clothes and, you know, other small stuff. So, you know, we can't like buy too much yet, but I definitely wanted to order a bed so that we have somewhere to sleep and that it doesn't take forever to arrive when we get there. So we bought the bougiest Tempur-Pedic mattress with this Luxe, like like cooling technology that keeps the mattress and you cool throughout the night. We're like, oh, we're moving to Florida, need that, definitely need that. All the bells and whistles. It was such a fun experience to just be able to do that. We got the adjustable like stand, the, the bed frame I guess you would call it, maybe, that the mattress sits on that has a remote that like lifts up your head or your feet. Like I'm I'm just so excited to have a queen— like a bougie bed for a queen. So pumped about that. So that's my life update. Okay, I want to tell you guys about some of these manifestation miracles during this home buying process because they are really, really crazy. So the first thing is when buying this condo, obviously there's a homeowners association and everything has to get approved by the homeowners association before you can actually buy the place or before your purchase is actually, um, final. So the sellers, the, the people that own the condo that were selling it, they accepted our offer, but that was just the first hurdle. And it was a pretty big hurdle because honestly, getting an offer accepted in this market was quite a challenge because everything was getting beat by all cash offers, people that just have half a million dollars in cash that they can throw at a condo and say, here, I'll give it to you all in cash. We did not have that ability. So, you know, we put a significant down payment on the home and we paid for some special assessments, which was an astronomical cost upfront as well. But we did have to finance and get a mortgage. So that was a challenge to get offers accepted. We got the offer accepted, which was the first hurdle. You guys would have heard about that on the episode where I told you that our offer got accepted when I was literally sitting on the airplane about to take off to go to Denver. And so then for 3 hours I was just sitting there like screaming into my hands by myself. Couldn't call anybody, couldn't talk to anybody. Like, what the heck? I just bought a house. So that was the first hurdle. Now the next thing was the HOA, which they've got to approve you. So you have to apply. It's like a pretty lengthy, in-depth, like a long application, and they have to approve you. The other thing is that we have an emotional support animal. Storm is my emotional support animal. So he by law gets to live with me. Now you've got to apply and put that forward because none of these condominiums, none of these apartment buildings down on the coast, like near the, the beach and the water, they're all— none of them are pet friendly. They're all no pets, like absolutely no pets for no reason, unless obviously they can't bypass the law that allows you to have an emotional support animal or a service dog. But the HOAs, the homeowners associations, they don't really like that. So they send all that paperwork to their legal team and they have the legal team inspect it, look for any loopholes, try to figure out how, you know, if it's fake, real, whatever, how they might be able to deny you, like all the things. So we were pooping our pants a little bit about that, just hoping and praying that, you know, everything would go smoothly with the HOA.. And so we got some pushback from the lawyers who started to insinuate that he wasn't actually an emotional support animal or that our letter was fake for some reason, which it was not. It's from my therapist. So I reached out to my therapist and said, hey, this is happening. Like, what do you think I should do? Can you talk to them? So she started emailing back and forth with the lawyers and it got like really heated. You guys, I'm sitting here like, like reading the emails because now it's just between the legal team and my therapist and they're like fighting each other back and forth via email. And I'm just sitting here stressed out of my freaking mind being like, what is happening? Why is this like such an intense experience? Like, what is the problem? We have all the paperwork, we've submitted everything. They're speaking to my therapist like they know that it's legit. Why are they still trying to tell us that we can't or that it's— that we're missing things or that it's not right or that it's not fully what they need or whatever. And it was just honestly so, so, so freaking stressful. Turns out this lawyer literally has a training that she offers for how to like find out like fraudulent emotional support animals. So I know now that she has a— she's personally invested in basically like proving that this is a fraudulent thing when it's not. So I'm literally shitting my pants. Like, we're so fucked right now. Like, she wants us out. She does not want this to, like, go through. So that was like days and days on end. And then, and then she goes on vacation. The legal team is out of the office for 2 weeks, so I don't hear from them for like 12 days. And then they reply saying, we need this, send it to me ASAP. Again, another shock to my nervous system, like, fuck, oh my God, like freaking out. And then the whole thing starts again, start emailing back with the therapist. As soon as I started to calm down and be like, oh, maybe they're leaving us alone. No sneak attack. They're back. They want more shit. They're pissed. Like, so it was this whole dramatic thing, right? And before, before they came back from like the 12 days off and started like firing back at us in that kind of like lull period time is when I had my reading with the, the woman who channels your spirit guides and my, my, my spirit guides or my angels that came through in that reading. They actually gave me guidance about this exact situation and they said they are going to push back and assume that you are a young woman who doesn't know what she's doing. You don't know your rights and they can kind of push you around or walk all over you or manipulate you in some way. And so the spirit guides said, you've got to show up with calm confidence, read all the fine print, know your rights, know the rules, and everything will work out. So when they came back after the 12 days of like, like downtime, when I thought we might be in the clear and it started ramping up again, these conversations between the lawyers and the homeowners association— sorry, the lawyers and my therapist, I'm like, okay, the, you know, the angels said calm confidence, know your rights, be firm, but be, be calm and everything is going to be okay. So I carried that with me through that experience and just held the faith that it's all going to work out. It's all going to work out. I know my rights. Like, we're totally in the right. We've done everything exactly as we're supposed to. We have every single piece of documentation. Everything is completely legal. Like, there's no way that they are going to be able to deny us our application for this house if we just keep moving forward with this calm confidence and reminding them, hey, this is the law. We know our rights. We are within our rights. You have to let us do this. And so that was like just a whole, like, many, many weeks of, like, extreme stress and anxiety. And then I finally get an email from the, the lawyers in the association basically saying, we've decided to accept your application and approve your request for accommodation with an emotional support animal. And when I got the email, I looked at the timestamp on the email and it was 1:11 PM, and I felt like it was just like this little nod from my angels from my guides being like, we told you, we told you it was all going to work out. So that was like a huge, huge win and such a manifestation miracle that came into— that dropped in for us, which I was so grateful for because that was really, really stressful. Now, the other miracle that happened was obviously in this process we're financing, so we have to get a mortgage and, you know, people need to really look at your The mortgage lenders need to look at your finances. They need your tax records, all that stuff to know what kind of, you know, what money you have, where it's coming from, make sure that it's secure, that you are a safe person to lend money to so that they know that they're going to get paid back. So I had to send them my records of accounts, basically like everything, you know, that the government knows about you in terms of taxes and stuff from the IRS website.. And when I went onto the IRS website, I actually saw that I had an outstanding balance and it was for, uh, like a little under $1,500. So it wasn't super huge, but it was a significant amount of money. And it was for a discrepancy that I had on my past tax return for the stimulus checks that the government paid out to US citizens during the pandemic. And we had marked on my tax return that I did not receive the stimulus payment because I was in Spain and I was pretty certain that I never got that money. But from the IRS, they said, nope, you did get that money, so you owe us an extra $1,500 in taxes. And so I, I knew that I needed to have a zero balance on that before I sent it to my loan officers, just to make sure that no other, like, red flags went off or nobody was concerned about anything. So I just went ahead and I paid it. It. And I was like, okay, once I pay this, it'll be clear on my account, and then it'll say that my balance is $0, and then I'll be able to send this over to them. Well, I paid it and the money came out of my account. It all went through, but on the IRS website, it still said pending balance of whatever. Like, it showed that I had submitted a payment, but it wouldn't clear to be $0 yet. And I was like, oh my God, like, I really don't want to sound any alarms or like, you know, make anybody think anything. Like, I want to make sure it looks like— and because it is the truth that like I've paid everything that I need to pay to the government, like I just want this to say $0, like zero balance before I send it. And so I was waiting days and days and days and days. I waited basically a week and it still said pending. It wouldn't clear to $0. And the lenders, the loan officers were asking me for these documents. So I said, you know what, I'm I'm just going to have to send it the way that it is. I can show them the proof that I paid it, and I'm just going to have to do it like that. So I wrote out the whole email, I attached all the documents, I explained to them what happened, and I was waiting for the documents to load in my Gmail. And then I got distracted on Instagram, LOL. Like 20 minutes later, I'm like, shit, I really need to send this email. I just got so distracted. So I go to my laptop, about to press send on the email, and I hear a voice in my head that says, don't send it. Don't send it. Just like, just that, just plain by itself, very clear, but don't send it. And I'm like, oh my God, I've already gone through this whole thing in my head of like, should I do it, should I not, should I send it, are they gonna think anything, like, is it gonna be okay? Like, and I've already decided I'm just gonna send it, it's gonna be fine. Like, why am I getting this message to not send it? Am I just being like stupid? Am I just being silly? Like, you know, still having those moments of like questioning your intuition. So I pick up my phone to check the time and it's 3:33, and I'm like, fuck, okay, I see you, angels. All right, whatever. I'm going to trust that this is an intuitive message. So you don't want me to send it. What should I do instead? So I start thinking, I'm like, okay, I just checked this like an hour ago and it still said it pending. But just to test this out, to test this intuitive ping that I've had, I'm going to go back to the IRS website. I'm going to log back in and I'm going to check one last time. And if it still says pending, you know what, fuck it. I'm just going to send the emails the way that they are, whatever. But I'll give it one last good old checkeroo just because you've told me, you know, don't send it. And then it was 333. So I was like, okay, maybe it's a sign. So I go back, I log in, even though I had just done this like so recently, I'm like, there's no way it updated or changed right now. I log in, zero balance. I was like, oh my God, you've got to be kidding me. Like literally in the amount of time that it took me to write the email, attach the documents, get distracted on Instagram, received the intuitive ping, something shifted and it changed to a $0 balance. And I'm like, oh my God, okay, delete my old email, remove all attachments, download the new documents that are perfectly the way that they're supposed to. $0 balance owed to the US government and sent. Like, so crazy. So that's just another reminder, like, listen to your intuition. And I think messages like that, they sound so much like your own thoughts. Like, it sounded really like it was just a thought from my own head being silly and saying, don't send it. But it was an intuitive ping. It was divine guidance. So, you know, it's just another reminder, like, listen to your intuition when you feel a certain way, when it comes up in those moments. Like, take it seriously, tune into it, honor it, because it really, really shifts things. Okay. The last thing that I want to share with you guys in this episode is things that I'm loving right now. So I'm reading the book Verity by Colleen Hoover, which some of you guys recommended to me on Instagram. I know you've probably seen it. So many people are reading it, but I'm, I'm not that far into it, so I can't give you my full review, but I am loving it. So Verity by Colleen Hoover. I'm loving it. Then I got this lip gloss from Tarte, and it's the, the, uh, what is it called? Hang on, let me look at it. The Maracuyá, like the fruit, Juicy Lip. And I got it first in the color Grapefruit, and it's just kind of like a natural peachy nude, like, lip gloss. But then I loved it so much that I went and I bought it in the color clear for when I don't want any color. But I've been obsessed with it. Like, it really makes your lips look so juicy. I know that sounds so stupid, but like, because it's called Juicy Lip, honestly, like, it's so good. Like, you should go buy it. Like, I'm a fan. I love it. I love it. Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip in Grapefruit and Clear. Big fan. Huge fan. Other things I'm loving: Pinteresting for my new house, planning how I want to decorate, getting ideas, all of that. I'm like so impatient that I can't buy anything yet, so I'm just like planning, planning, planning, pinning, pinning, pinning. But I'm loving that for me. And I'm also loving Kyra chiropractic. So I went back to the chiropractor. I haven't been to the chiropractor in years because I didn't really go at all when I was in Spain. And the first time that I went, the amount of times that my neck cracked, you guys, it was shocking. It— there was like 18 cracks both ways on each side of my neck. And I feel so much better. And I just remember why I love chiropractic so much. So if you've never gotten an adjustment or you haven't been in a while, Well, here's your reminder to go to the chiropractor. It's honestly life-changing. So, so good. And the last thing is my reMarkable tablet. I've talked about this before, but it's like a digital notebook. When you write on it, it really feels like you're writing on paper, but you can organize your notes into different files and different notebooks. So like I have a notebook for every program that I run or any coaching that I'm in. I also have a notebook that's just like my journal. I have a different notebook for my morning rituals that I do, but they're all in this one place on the reMarkable tablet. And it's been so handy lately for signing documents because there's been so many documents that I have to sign for the home buying process. And you can just upload PDFs to it and then you can go through and like fill out entire applications with your handwriting and sign and then and from the actual reMarkable tablet, you can email it to anyone or to yourself and then save as a PDF with all of your handwritten and like responses and signatures in there. And you can also take any text that you've written handwritten and you can convert it into typed text. So if you like to write things out, ideas in your notebook or in your journal, and then you want to turn it into like an email or a caption or something like that, you can turn it into actual text and email it to yourself. It's so cool. I love the reMarkable tablet. I take it everywhere with me. It's so convenient if you are someone who like, you know, has many different notebooks and you lose them and you write ideas down and stuff and then you're like, wait, where did I put that? Or you have a bunch of different journals. It just puts everything in one place. So reMarkable, honestly sponsor me. You guys go get a reMarkable tablet. They are kind of expensive, but for me it's been worth it. I love it. I love it so much. Okay, you guys, that is it for this bonus episode. Thank you so much for tuning in.
