From Stripper to Multi Millionaire: Clear Money Blocks & Alchemize Trauma w/ Andrea Crowder
26 Mar 2025 · 69 min
In this episode of the Makeshift Happen podcast, host Samantha Daly interviews entrepreneur, coach, and podcaster Andrea Crowder. Andrea recounts a harrowing early life—her step‑dad’s gang‑related shooting, teen pregnancy, drug‑dealing, stripping, and a series of personal crises (divorce, house fire, flood)—and how those experiences forged the mindset and business acumen that now powers multiple six‑ and seven‑figure ventures. The conversation weaves together concrete business lessons learned in the strip club (posture, audience quality over quantity, premium‑buyer psychology), deep‑dive into "money blocks" (desperation, jealousy, fear of abundance), and a philosophical shift from manifestation‑only thinking to narrative‑driven reality‑crafting. Andrea introduces her signature framework “Not a Penny from Pressure, Only Pleasure,” which guides decision‑making by checking with one’s future self and choosing actions that feel more alive. She also explains the concepts of "Alive Money" and the importance of interpreting sensations rather than identifying with them, using vivid metaphors (e.g., the red Solo cup in a stream). Throughout, she shares practical tactics—confidence‑building posture, premium client targeting, Instagram Story selling frameworks (Sold Out Stories), and the Abundant & Ambitious mastermind. The episode also includes promotional interludes, a listener‑of‑the‑month contest, and a brief discussion of a face‑reading session that reinforced her self‑perception. The closing segment urges listeners to share the episode, tag the hosts on social media, and submit Apple Podcast reviews for a chance to win a $50 gift card, reinforcing community engagement. The tone is candid, motivational, and instructional, aiming to inspire listeners to reframe trauma into power, clear limiting beliefs, and build sustainable, pleasure‑driven wealth.

What's up, you guys?
Welcome back to the podcast. Today we have my friend and forever inspo Andrea Crowder on the show, who is an absolute master of mind, body, spirit, and bank account transformations. Over the years, Andrea has built several multi-six and seven-figure businesses, everything from being a network marketing mogul to product-based businesses selling manifestation and spirituality apparel, candles, and more, to digital audio courses and transformative mindset coaching for highly successful leaders. Every project she touches is aligned with one mission: put more money, freedom, and power into the hands of good-hearted women. Because women who feel good do good. If you've ever been through what feels like a losing season, then this episode is going to inspire you beyond belief. Andrea is no stranger to trauma, struggle, and lack mentality. As a young girl, her stepdad was shot as part of a gang initiation. Later, in her teens, she found herself pregnant on the side of the road without a penny to her name and all of her belongings in a trash bag. As an adult, she has thrived through divorce, heartbreak, a devastating house fire, and her home flooding. In today's conversation, you'll hear how she went from being a drug-dealing stripper to a multimillionaire CEO, podcast host, speaker, and serial entrepreneur. Yes, the glow up is so real. She breaks down the top money blocks that she sees women facing and how to clear them now, some of the invaluable business lessons that she learned from the strip club and how they still apply to entrepreneurship and marketing today. Plus more golden nuggets on conviction, abundance, and the new paradigm of success that aligns with her core principle of not a penny from pressure, only pleasure. If you're into manifesting an easeful, abundant life and alchemizing pain into power, you are going to love this episode. All right, let's dive in. Welcome to the Makeshift Happen podcast. I'm so excited that you're here. I've followed you for years. I also, I, I don't know if I told you this when we hung out that one day in person, that I used to love the Freak Ritual candles.
Stop.
And I don't, I don't know if you have some of those like leftover in stock, but if you do, I'm probably gonna like beg you for one. 'Cause yeah, I remember I wanted to get, I even wanted to get more of like the spray and then I like went on the website and I was like, no, I'm so sad it's not available anymore. But if you have any, left over in, in secret stock in your house. I might have to see if I can get one from you. But yeah, I followed you for years, and, um, and then we kind of became almost sort of neighbors when I moved to Fort Lauderdale, which I didn't even know that you were in this area. But then you moved into your kind of single girl house on the water that was really close to where I am. So yeah, it's been nice like getting to know you more, and I can't wait to come see the new babe cave, the luxury office apartment space that you're in now that you're moving in with your man. But so many upgrades have been happening for you this year and lately. How are you? How are you feeling?
I literally feel the most upgraded. I feel soft but superhuman. I feel the most, like, alive I've ever felt in my whole life. I, I feel so grounded and sure and clear. And I'll be honest, like, the last— since, like, last August, like, I've been in it in, like, a riptide of just, like, new identity shifts. So to feel this grounded and this good and this moment feels really nice.
Yeah, you're like soaking it up. You're like, it hasn't always been like this.
No, I mean, like, we all have seasons like that, right? Where we're like, we're becoming someone new, and then we're integrated. We're integrating, and then we're integrated. And I'm in the integrated phase, and I'm like, thank God.
Yeah, it feels so good. Yeah, yeah, it feels so good. Okay, so to kind of introduce you to my audience, you are the founder of a 7-figure global brand. You're a speaker, you're a mentor, you're a podcaster. You've worked with some of the biggest names in the coaching industry, um, and you have an incredible story of resilience, power, and possibility. Like, when I think of you, I'm like, wow, you know, anything is possible. So much is possible. So much is available to us in this world from witnessing your story. So to kind of give the listeners some context, the beginning of your entrepreneurial journey actually started with you selling weed and stripping. Yeah. So can you take us back a little bit in a time machine to that place in your life? And yeah, what were those circumstances and what was your mindset and outlook on life? Because it's obviously so different now.
Well, for those of you who remember Saved by the Bell, that maybe not your audience, maybe more my audience, but like it's, it's just like an old show. Um, and there was a character, her name was Lisa Turtle, and she was like in high school and she was going to school to become a fashion designer, and she was like my idol. I'm like, I wanna, I wanna do something in the creative space. I thought that I would graduate from high school and I would go like to an art institute. I don't know why I thought that, because I came from a family that had no money, and, and I was one of those kids where like when as soon as like the school bell rang, I went home and I took care of my little brother and sister. So I never had like the additional activities, you know, on, uh, on the on essentially like my high school report card, the saying that I was like involved in all of these clubs. Like I didn't have that availability to me. So there was no scholarships. There was like, my parents just made just enough for it to be really hard for me to have them help me with school, but also really hard for me to get any support through scholarships. And so I decided like, okay, I'm gonna put myself through school. And I was just gonna start going to community college, but I didn't have a way to pay for that. I was just working at a restaurant, like Pancake House, and you're not gonna—
you're not gonna love Pancake House.
You're not gonna make a whole lot of tips from the senior crowd who's gonna like tip you a dollar on their pancakes, right? So I was like, okay, let me get creative. And I honestly can't remember who recommended this. I think this was like my best friend that got me into ecstasy that was like You should go work at the strip club.
Solid recommendations from this one.
Right, exactly. And so I went and I got a job just serving drinks, but you couldn't even serve alcohol there. So you were serving soda and you could essentially get, get guys to like buy you a drink. So you could sit down and they would buy you a soda, but you'd get to pocket that money. So I was like, okay, I'm starting to make a little bit of money. I'm starting to feel out how things work at a small level. I'm starting to understand how to. Essentially like sell my time, sell my energy, which worked out really well for me in the coaching industry. And then I realized I'm watching all of these girls walk around with those like clear boxes that you used to be able to buy at Claire's, and they were just full of 20s. And I'm like, hmm, they're making way fucking more than I am. Maybe like $50 to $100 in tips, which is great, but like they're walking out with hundreds of dollars a night.. And I was like, let me just give it a try. And I'll tell you what, I learned more about myself like than in those, in that single year of my life. I think I learned more about myself and my capability. I also learned a hell of a lot of what I didn't want to do and who I didn't wanna be. It's a really, that's a dark side of life where it can be like the riches can feel, I mean, I think the coaching industry has this too, like the the riches can feel so appealing, and they feel like they're going to solve all of your problems. And when you're hungry for that and you chase that, it's so easy to forget who you are and what you value. And I absolutely did. I ended up becoming the girl who was like doing cocaine while I was, you know, selling weed. And, you know, I would— I got myself into all different kinds of trouble, and I found myself sleeping with men that I didn't even like for a sense of like a power kick. And, you know, I essentially like fucked my soul away for a false sense of power for a whole year straight. And then I got pregnant and I would say my son saved my life because weeks before I got pregnant, I did so much cocaine that I don't know how I woke up the next day. Like I was on a shore, like I was going down one of those like crazy ass slides that didn't let you out into the pool. It let you out off a cliff. And like that was the direction that I was headed in had I not gotten pregnant. So getting pregnant at 19 was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Okay, so I have something I think you're really gonna love, and your business is gonna love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram Stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales, but if your Instagram Stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on Stories isn't about how how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing, and the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look at me content and calling it authority, sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story selling sequence designed to drive demand and convert sales. We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more. You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is gonna give you 5 high-converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides from authority building all the way to offer flow in less than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under 6 hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy. You already know your offer's incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is. Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next store your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside.
Wow. Wow.
Aww.
Does you— do you talk about that with your son? Does he know that, that you feel that way about him?
Absolutely. Yeah.
That's so sweet. I love that so much. You have a— one of your pinned posts on Instagram, which I love, is about the business lessons that you learned from being a stripper. And you mentioned in this— in that one year of your life, you learned so much about yourself. And, and so I think it would be kind of fun to unpack some of those.
So I have them here, um, in case you don't recall them, because they're so relevant to like everything else.
Do you know what I mean? It's like, it's not just about— it's not just about the strip club, but it's also about business, and it's also about life, and it's about energy, and it's about what you attract and what you repel, and like all of those lessons that came through for you in that experience. So one of the first ones was that like desperation and jealousy repel money. How did you really learn that and see that in that environment?
You know, one of the things that comes more natural to me is that I'm an observer, and it's gotten me in a lot of trouble because if I observe without a smile, I just look like I'm a judgmental bitch. So I told my grandma one time, I'm like, Grandma, I found out that I have resting bitch face. Like, I had no idea until I was in my late 20s, and my friend just looked at me. My friend Rachel Luna looks at me and she goes, what's wrong with you? You don't like that girl? And I was like, what do you mean? I was so interested in what she was saying. She's like, correct your face then. She's my Latina friend who like just says whatever on her mind. And I was like, oh my God, like I had no idea. But I would just— I've just always been really, really curious about the world and people more specifically, and, and myself. And so I would notice like habits and patterns between myself and other girls, and I'm like, okay, what's difference between— what's different between me and the girls carrying around the boxes full of cash. And a huge part of it was like, it was their posture. It was whether they had made a ton of money ever before, like whether it was a new girl, whether it was a really seasoned girl, the posture of I don't give a fuck, I'm just here to have fun. The posture of I know who the fuck I am. And if you say no, your loss was really, really noticeable. And some day, some nights I had that, some nights I didn't. And now that I look back, I'm like, I was probably in my luteal cycle on the night. So real. Crush it as a stripper now.
You'd cycle sync stripping. It just hacked the whole industry.
Exactly. So yeah, I just started noticing like, what's the difference? And I really, I really started paying attention to my posture and others' posture and how they would walk through the club. How they would just even engage with people. It wasn't about what they said, it was about how they, how they stood. And just like from an energetic perspective, like what it was that they were offering out. And on the nights that I just went in and I'm like, it's Friday, I just wanna have fun, I always made the most money.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. There's also this idea you shared about like a bigger audience doesn't equal more money. Yeah. But more confidence does equal more money. So it's, going off of what you just said there, the posture, you know, it's like having that level of confidence, conviction, the way you move, the way you hold yourself, the way that you feel about yourself dictates the way that the audience, whatever it is, whether it's on social, it's for a business, or it's in a strip club, is going to dictate the way that they perceive and feel about you. But can you speak to the piece about like a bigger audience doesn't equal more money? How did you kind of like, yeah, notice that and, and then apply that to with the work that you do now, also where it's also being true.
The club was always packed on a Friday and Saturday night for obvious reasons, and we were really close to the military base. And so like all of the, the young guys who were stationed at the base would just come in on a Friday or Saturday night. And these guys, you know, they didn't have extra money, so they might come in with a $20 to spend that night, right? And so there's— the club is packed and it looks like there's the greatest opportunity for, for money because there's the most amount of customers, but it the customers who could afford to pay the least, it would come on a Friday or a Saturday night. But the guys who had the most money came at— came during the afternoon lunch. And so they're like, I'm here to spend money. I'm here for a reason. I'm here because like, this is my lifestyle, not a fun thing to do with my friends on a casual night. They didn't want their wife to know about you. So like, you're really careful not to wear body makeup on the lunch shift to make sure they don't go home with anything on their white button-up shirt. And I'm like, wow, I sound so slutty right now. But I'm like, that was the reality of my life. I learned the rules, and I learned how to play in them. And so even though there might only be like 5, 10 guys in the club, like you get one of them to say yes, and they were spending hundreds over the just the next single hour that they had in their lunch. So I could go in and I could work a really short shift and I could make way more money with a smaller crowd because it was the right customer who was ready to spend. And most of us in the coaching industry are looking for anyone who will spend, not the right person who will spend. And we absolutely— and you're like the queen of this teaching— this is like, we market to them. We market to the people who are gonna ask too many questions. They aren't sure what they really want versus the person who knows exactly what they want. They're there to spend money. And, and in us speaking directly to them and making sure that like our business plan is towards that person, not towards the masses.
Yeah. Yeah. It's like the difference between low quality leads and really high caliber clients. You can have an audience of, yeah, 1,000 people or 500. Like there's, there's people that have an audience of 500 people and they're making, you know, millions. Yeah. And then there's people like influencers that have audiences of, 500,000, millions, and it's really hard for them to sell anything that's over $45, you know. So yeah, it's interesting to kind of see how that also applies. And I think with the example of them coming in in the afternoon shift, like, I don't know if you would say this, but in my mind I was just like, it's exclusivity. Like, they don't want to be in the big crowd. They don't want to come with all the other dudes like fighting for attention. Like, your luxury clients that are there to spend money they will pay to have a more intimate, like, luxury kind of close proximity experience. Absolutely. So many lessons. So many lessons. Okay, the less that you care if they like you, the more that they like you. Talk about this and like the way that you kind of changed your attitude and the way that you moved to make that work for you.
When you're number one, when you like you and you know you're the shit, You don't really need other people to like you. So like, job number one, find a way to really fucking like yourself. And, and there are parts of us that confuse us, and we, we— I can say this in a different way than I could have then, and that's that we misjudge our sensations for our identity. And so if we have the sensation of like lacking confidence, that sensation we, we start to describe as who we are. And then we start to show up as it. And our sensations are passing experiences, just like the wind. And the more that we treat it as such— who I was came coming into this life and who I am leaving this life, that's my identity. It's the fixed parts of us that never change. Everything else is just an experience. So when I can start to look at like, okay, what are the parts of me that give me power? Like, who am I that I just know is like, what is my zone? When I'm in my zone, I feel strong. My posture is just fucking sure. It's the certainty in who I am. It's the certainty in what I offer that creates that desirable feeling for other people. People aren't really craving, or people aren't really buying necessarily the outcome. They're craving the certainty in which you hold that outcome. If you can't hold it with that certainty, people are like, mm, she's not sure, so I'm not sure. They're just gonna reflect that back to you.
In your experience, like, I'm sure people listening are like, okay, I get that, valid, makes sense. But how do I arrive to that level of conviction within myself? Or how do I arrive to, as you say, holding the certainty around the outcome? Especially if, you know, they're entrepreneurs or business owners or whatever, like whatever product or service that they offer. Like you said, you, you have to, you have to transmit the feeling that like this is going to be like, this is going to change your life for sure. Like, that's what people want to feel on the other side of the screen to make them go, to make them believe in themselves. I think that's the way that you sell anything better is like you make, you change the way that someone else feels about themselves. When you can, and so many people are focused on like, how do I change the way that I feel about myself? Which yes, is, is a root, but it's also like when you change the way that you feel about yourself, your power then becomes helping other people change the way that they feel about themselves, which makes them more convicted in, I can do this, I deserve this, I'm going to invest in myself, I'm going to take this next step. So from your perspective and what you've seen with like clients and in your work and everything, what helps? Like what can people do to start to arrive to a deeper level of conviction?
There's no arriving, like it already exists within you. It's a shift in focus. So I say all the, all the time, become a motherfucking FBI agent looking for evidence in which you're already winning. There's an area of your life that you already have proof. This whole idea of like just have faith, it's abstract, it makes you feel chaotic. I'm not for it. I like, I just don't think faith is required when we already have tons of evidence in our life. Like if you're selling anything online, you're probably, you know, 18 or over. I'm sure if you're listening to this podcast, you're probably 20s, 30s, 40s. You have plenty of evidence. The problem is, is that you're looking at what you haven't accomplished yet and you're judging yourself. You're judging your level of certainty based off of something that's really abstract and unknown. People aren't really afraid of— let me say that differently. Yesterday I was talking to a client and she was like really concerned about something that was happening in the business world with her, something with one of her charities. And she was like, I'm just like, I just don't know what's gonna happen. And I was like, but what we know for sure is it's not what actually happens that's creating a problem for you. It's the not knowing. Right? It's— and so a shift in attention can create a remembrance of, I know that something can get fucked up because it has. I know that something will get fucked up because that's life. So I know everybody's like, think all happy thoughts and manifestation. I think one of the most detrimental ways of teaching manifestation is to think that everything should work out perfectly and that if we're in alignment, it all works out. And then when we're not, we're like, oh my God, I'm doing something wrong. We start to look for something to fix versus looking for evidence in which we're already winning. So it's that shift in, it's a shift in focus. It's a shift in narrative. It's a shift in interpretation. And I think one of my greatest skill sets, somebody asked me, she today, she's like, was this the tool that changed it all for you? And I was like, never, because look at how many other people have that tool. Did it change it all for them? It's never the tool, it's always the narrative. If you can choose a more powerful narrative, you'll make anything that you want to happen.
Yeah, there's a million people that have learned so many strategies and it's, it's not working for them, and it's not because the strategy doesn't work, it's because they have a narrative underneath it that isn't allowing it to work or allowing them to work it, right? But I love what you said there about manifestation because I always kind of talk about, you know, this idea— I think self— I always say self-trust is my main business strategy. I think trusting yourself with the way that you move through life is so important, and it will get you really far. But I think there's a misconception that self-trust, like you said, especially when it comes to manifestation, means like, I just trust that I'm gonna fully be in alignment and that I'm gonna get the outcomes that I desire and that it's all going to work out. That to me is not self-trust. Um, self-trust is understanding, like you said, it is possible for things to go wrong. And this is a valid outcome that could happen. Like, it could get fucked, it could go the wrong way. And even so, I trust myself enough to know that I'll be okay even if that is the case. Like, I will be smart enough, resourceful enough, resilient enough to figure it out and know what is the next best step when that does happen. So I love that you touched on that too, because that's so— it's so true. And like, the narrative piece— Tony Robbins always says what you focus on becomes your reality. Like, your focus becomes your reality. So if you can shift that It changes everything. And maybe it's helpful for people to think about this idea of, I don't have to arrive at a place of confidence or conviction. There's already so much evidence, there's already so much proof. I'm just looking in the wrong places. Like, that's so powerful.
Confidence, trust, conviction, all of those things, none of those are things that we have. Those are always things that we cause. And that is such like a— and this is like the disruptive thought that I want people to experience is that when we're thinking it's something that we're supposed to embody and be all the time, we've already created a scenario in which we could never win, right? And so people are like, okay, I made this money, now I want to keep it, I want to keep my success. It's like the longer that we try to hold something, to grip it, that's— that's the second that we step out of receptive mode, right? So I'm looking at like, what's the energy that's being offered and how can I cause a different response? Or a different experience. Like, be a scientist in the world while also believing in magic— game over. You've just won Earth. Yes, totally. You've just won Earth.
You say, and you kind of alluded to this earlier too, that you've always been— you've always had this like unexplainable kind of understanding of human behavior and this curiosity towards it. And I think a lot of that is coming through in what you're describing now. Um, but you've talked about specifically an incident when you were 14 and your stepdad was shot in a gang initiation, and this idea that like you, you you could not find hatred within yourself for the person that did that, for the person that shot him. You said you actually understood this boy who did that. How? Why? Like, let's unpack that and talk about how to find those silver linings even in the painful parts of your journey.
You know, I don't know if I could have described this then. If you would ask me that, I would just say I don't know. Like, I, I don't think I could have had a clear answer for you. But I think looking back, one of the common denominators or consistent threads in my life is that I've just always seen the best in people. And when people react wrong, it's because, like, some— somewhere else there was a lever that was pressed. Like, it's a lot of cause and effect, cause and effect. And so if we are If we look at the roots of a tree, you know, we can look at the branches and we can say healthy— how healthy those roots are, right? But we can always look at a tree and say like the health of the branches are due to the roots. And I look at people as the same way. Like if the— if what's visible to me looks really healthy, I can tell you that it has strong, healthy roots. And if what's visible to me doesn't look very healthy, if there's like a lot of breakage, if when a storm passes branches just next easily fall, I can tell you the, that the roots have been really struggling and malnourished for probably quite some time because it takes a very long time before something gets from the roots all the way to the external edges of the branch. And so I can look at the world a little bit more metaphorically in that way and say like, there's just no possible way that somebody just woke up and decided like, oh, I just am gonna behave in this way. That little kid, I can look back at him. I don't know anything about him. I haven't actually gone back to that story. I have no idea who he is. I've never tried to research him since then, which is fascinating now that you bring that up. I'm like, hmm, what shall I— maybe we should right after this, right after this call. Um, but what I know about people is like, number one, he was also a 14-year-old kid. He was looking for acceptance, right? Like, it was a part of a gang initiation. He wanted acceptance. He wanted safety. He wanted belonging. He wanted a place that he could feel like— like, we all do this. We all, we all accept less in order to have something that feels comfortable, because then we describe that as safe, even if ultimately we know it's not. Because we're looking at what is the experience that I'll have right now without taking our future self into consideration. And so had that 14-year-old kid had the rare wisdom to say like, well, Am I going to be happy at 28 that I made this decision now? He's like, that's not going to fucking happen at 14, right? He's just looking for like, I have this urge inside of my body, I have this craving, I have this need, I have this pain. Let me find a way to fix that, to fulfill that. And, and then we start looking for like examples in other people's life. Oh, that kid looks strong. That kid looks like he has safety. That kid looks— he has power. And so, and we do this in the coaching industry, like So we look at that person and we're like, it looks like they have what I want because of the external conditions. We never ask ourselves like, what are going to be the long-term effects of that? Those are the women that become my clients because they're like, I chased the— I chased the accolades, I chased the money, I make millions of dollars just like on autopilot now. And then when they get onto the other side of my screen, it's like I can look at their eyes and I can see fractures in their nervous system. It's like pain pictures just behind their eyes, just slide after slide after slide of, I am fucking hurting, help, I'm drowning, help. And like, we're just not taking those— that version of ourself into consideration. If you took my whole brand and you distilled it down into one thing, it's that I make all decisions with my future self, and with considering my future self first. That's it.
I love that so much. Do you think that the pain is required to create those levels of success and wealth? Because it seems like, given what you just said, it's kind of a common thread.
I don't think it's required, but I think that that's the current result because we haven't been taught any other way. We've been taught, like, if you want— if you want happiness, we've been taught that success is something worthy of chasing. And I would suggest that that success without aliveness is really just like survival.
Yeah. You've said, if we have to kill ourselves to get there, it's not the American dream. Amen. Which I think also encapsulates a lot of your work, which we'll get into here in a second. But yeah, speaking of this idea of, you know, finding those silver linings, understanding the cause and effect of not just, you know, how people are behaving and acting in the world, but also our own personal circumstances of the things that happen to us, of, are there— is there reasoning behind it? You know, people are always arguing about this idea of like, everything happens for a reason. Is that helpful? Is it not? Um, but you've gone through a lot of that in, in your experience. You have a lot of things where it's like, you wouldn't wish that for your daughter or any of your children or anyone that you know. Um, but yeah, I mean, the sexual abuse, PTSD, house fire, divorce— like, there's just all these continual moments of rising from the ashes. I'm curious from your perspective how you feel like you're able to metabolize those hard experiences and, and do you believe that they were purposeful in some way? Do you believe that they prepared you for the blessings that were coming next in life?
That's a really, really great question. And I've had a lot of different beliefs about this over the course of my life. And the place that I am now is that I look for the belief that gives me the most power. I look for the belief that gives me the strongest posture. And so if something has already occurred—
pause, rewind, everybody, pause, rewind, replay, hear it again. So good.
Yeah. So if I look at all of those things, I can say, like, because I've chosen a really powerful narrative, I can say, sure, like, I like to think that those things have been useful to me. Do I believe that that was my only way to get here? I'm, I'm creating— I'm being the example in my life as a new truth right now. Because I do remember, like, there's, there's a part of my DNA. In fact, I, I had a session with this guy who like reads your face and tells you everything about you.
Yeah, you told me about that when we got lunch. I, I need to do that actually still. And now I remember you told me about that. I wanted to do that so badly.
Yeah, so he just like— I text him, I'm at Catherine's and Kina's son's birthday party, and everybody, like James Wedmore, is like— everybody's all around the table just talking about like this guy. And I'm like, who's this Face Reader guy? And they're like, are you Point— are you Wave? And I'm like, what the— oh man, another personality test? Like, I can't even, can't even. And so I started listening to them, and I was like, okay, I'm curious enough. Right? And so Catherine sends, um, sends me his phone number. The next day I text him. She does another session with him the next morning. She's like the fastest integrator on Earth. She's like, oh my God, my session was amazing. And I was like, fine, okay, I'll like, I'll try this guy. So I text him. He doesn't reply to me for a week, and he texts me back and he's like, oh, okay. All he knows is that Catherine's my friend and my first name's Andrea. And he's like, Could you do a call right now? And I was like, oh yeah, I guess it's like 5:00 PM here. I'm done with work. And he's— and so he goes, send me 10 photos and then a video of you saying what your name is. And so I send him these 10 different photos and then I take like a little selfie video of myself, just like saying my name. And then he calls me back immediately and he's like, for like an hour and 15 minutes or so, just tells me everything about me. And I'm like, literally not, not a, not one degree off. And he's like, yeah. He's like, what do you think about, um, he goes, you could actually do what I do. And he's like, you're kind of built for that. And he goes, he goes, look at a, look at a girl who has like bigger, more doughy eyes. What do you know about her immediately? And I was like, mm, she's fairly agreeable. And he's like, exactly. Because when you have larger eyes, you have higher amounts of estrogen in, in the body, which makes you more agreeable. And I was just like, oh, interesting.
So he's like, I kind of have eyes like that.
You do. I know. I actually did a few training sessions with him. I'm like, I'm like actually studying your face now. You're like doing it to me now.
I'm like, oh no.
Yeah. So one of the things that he said about me though is he's like, you're like the Phoenix rising. If you were an X-Men, you'd be Jean Grey. You low-key have these like very psychic abilities and you're just like a phoenix rising from the ash over and over. And you said those exact words, and I can't tell you how many people in my life has said that. Like, you've just continuously, you know, right, rose, risen, right? Thank you. Risen from the ashes. And, and that's what he's like, you're literally designed for that. I'm also looking for opportunities where like I have to be less ashy, right? Like, does my house actually have to burn? Do I— does my house actually have to flood, like, in order for me to be—
that's right, an overcomer.
Oh my God, it was the fire, and then the next house was a flood.

Fire, mold, and then flood— 3 houses in a row, like biblical times.
What, like, what do you make of that? What was that experience like? What were you internally going through in that?
You know, I, I feel like they were consistent opportunities to, like, push me in a right direction that I might not have chosen for myself because I was comfortable. I loved living in our house. Like, it was, you know, more in the suburbs. While I loved it, once the house burned and I got into the city, I was like, I love living here. Once it got mold, we got into this new place. I had an elevator. I could actually get my suitcase up to the top floor without dying. And I'm like, oh my God, even better. And then that place kept flooding. We could not find the source of the goddamn leaks in the house for a whole year. I was living in a house that I was paying like $10,000 $10,500 a month or something like that. And like, it kept raining in my kitchen. And then, oh my God, I left that house and then I went into like what you called my single girl house, this beautiful like multi-million dollar condo on the water. And I was like, I'm home here. And then I meet my man. Like, luckily nothing like burned down in that place. And then I meet my man and I'm like, okay, there's no room for both of us here. Yeah, in the right direction for for, um, it's always an upgrade. Literally every time something gets taken from me, it's to give me an upgrade in return.
I remember you saying that like in maybe it was like 2018, around that time, that you were sitting in your million-dollar home, had the Mercedes in the driveway, you know, over a million dollars in, in earnings from probably network marketing at the time, um, if I'm following the timeline correctly. And that it still wasn't enough to really like soothe your anxiety. Like you still kind of felt like that broke teen mom that you once were. So you've obviously had all these experiences that kind of, like you say, push you in the next direction, like kind of show you, reveal to you the next path. And that— see, that moment kind of seems like it was pivotal because it was the catalyst to one of your kind of main catchphrases and the model of like your business is so much of what you do now. So can you tell us about that moment? Like take us back to that time and, and how it kind of shaped the way that you decided that you would work and move with money from that point forward.
Yeah, there's so much to that, to that time that was like really pivotal to where I am now. Like many belief systems about like I could earn but I couldn't have. And so like the idea of receiving versus being able to actually hold, it took me a long time to be able to acclimate beliefs. And for the longest time I treated those seasons like they were problematic, when in reality there was this like, it was such a beautiful season of being like a portal of becoming. And in reality also nothing was broken, but I was treating it as such because my whole life had been like shatter after shatter after shatter. So that was like the anticipation, the expectation, and the interpretation of all of it. So I'm in this, you know, beautiful million-dollar home, Mercedes in the driveway, you know, assets, and, um, and I was just— it felt like my insides were being just like shredded with razor blades. I was just filled with anxiety. In fact, somebody messaged me today. I did like a little, you know, you're like, ask me anything box on Insta Stories. I was like, I haven't done one of those in a while, let me do one. And this girl said I don't understand why everything's fine, but I still think something really awful is about to happen to me. And so I responded to her. I said, imagine that your whole life you grow up by the railroad tracks, and every single night those trains come and it's disruptive and it wakes you up and it's loud. And then eventually you get so used to the trains that it becomes a comfort, right? Like an anticipation, predictability. And there it becomes some sort of like a lull almost. And then all of a sudden, one night the train doesn't come and you're like, oh my God, something's wrong, right? It's the expectation that now all of a sudden that because there isn't chaos anymore that, that it's— the chaos is about to come, right? When in reality your mind just needs a little bit of time of practiced peace, recognizing the fact that the absence of chaos is really freedom. And like, just the whole idea of the, the silence isn't the problem, it's that We were so used to the chaos before that our mind interpreted that as okayness. And now without it, our mind needs a little bit of time to, to update to the peace. And I totally get that. I still have moments where I'm like, can it really be this easy? I like, I created my, I put my brain into a custom GPT. We call her Legend. And I'm like, I have to be able to have, like, ask someone questions the way that, like, I would want responses back. So we created a me for me. And I was like, legend, it is so good right now. I'm like, I feel antsy today. And she's just essentially was like, Andrea, this is your opportunity to, to look at this as not something wrong, but just evidence of momentum. And I was like, oh, right, of course, of course. But even my brain does it automatically sometimes too. But I'm not noticing the thought pattern, I'm noticing the sensation that I'm feeling. I'm noticing that sense of chaos of like, this can't be okay, this can't be okay, when in reality it's no accident that I'm here. It literally was like piece by piece by piece of putting all of the different puzzle pieces in together, and now I have this life full of pleasure versus pressure, or this life where I can, I can do a little and I can have a big response. I've learned the art of leverage really, really well at this point in time. And, um, but I still understand the idea that our body doesn't always look at that as a sense of success at first, at least how we feel. Logically, we're like, I know I'm fine, I know I'm okay, but I feel like hell. I don't get it. It's, it's, it takes a little bit of time to update and I've learned over time, um, to, to update those. It's all interpretation. I update the interpretation of what's happening and that puts my body at ease.
Right.
So you mentioned like the time to, to update to it, but I imagine that while you're doing that, like you just said, typing into Legend and kind of getting that response back, that's allowing you to assign a new meaning, meaning change the narrative like we talked about. At the start. I'm curious about just kind of going off of that, your— what success— because yes, okay, someone can grow up in a chaotic environment, whether it's their family life or there's abuse or it's their patterns with relationships or whatever it is. But— and that creates that feeling or that addiction to chaos. And then when it's not there and it is peaceful or it is quiet, as you say, there's like, oh my God, when's the other shoe going to drop? Something bad is about to happen because I don't feel that sense of, you know, overwhelm or chaos or whatever around me. But I think this also happens in, in business. So I'm curious from your side of you know, growing to, you know, building a multimillion-dollar team in network marketing, if the feeling of success in your body when you were doing that felt like doing a lot, it felt like hustling versus obviously now your mantra is not a single penny from pressure, only pleasure, and creating, like you said, those levers where you know how to create, do a little bit but create a big result from that. What was the experience like for you of changing the way that you feel success in your body? Like, like you mentioned that sensation, you're feeling the sensation and then you're making it mean something. But what did the old sensation of success feel like versus what the sensation of success feels like now in your body?
The old sensation was like, never slow down, don't stop because like it will all fall apart, you'll lose it. So a reinterpretation of that is like, I'm not meant to keep it. It's that gripping, right? Like I'm not looking at life like when I anticipate that it should always be a high cash day. When I have like— I still have $400 days sometimes. I'm like, you know, I can have a $20,000 day and a $400— exactly, right? So I've taught myself different methods of interpretation where, you know, when I'm feeling pain, I'm oftentimes zoomed in on a really singular experience. And we often describe that as I'm making that mean something. And that— that I don't like the idea that somebody would own the fact that a thought kind of infiltrated their awareness? Because we don't always choose those. We experience them, but we don't always cause them. Can we bring consciousness? Because if that's happening at an unconscious level— we have thousands of things in our body happening at an unconscious level. I don't choose to think about making my heart pump every single day. I don't choose every thought that comes into my mind. So if I'm not choosing it, it's not who I am. It's something I experience. So it's reinterpreting the thoughts as like, oh, interesting. I describe this sometimes as like, um, if you were to be standing in this beautiful Hawaiian stream and it's just like you're— the, the stream is filled with like all of these beautiful flowers and vines and it's just lush and gorgeous, and all of a sudden a red Solo cup just passes by in the stream. And you look at that red Solo cup and you like grab it and you strap it to your chest and you duct tape it to you, and you're like, this is who I am now, I'm keeping this red a Solo cup for always, right? Like, we would never. It's just trash in the stream. I don't have to make it mine, and it certainly isn't me. And that's exactly what those, those thoughts of like, something bad is gonna happen, or I've done this wrong, or I made this mean something— we didn't make that happen. It happened automatically, and it certainly fucking happened without our permission. However, we can choose always a new interpretation. That's where your power is. Your power is when you bring conscious choice, conscious power, conscious interpretation. And you'll know if it's you based off of, does my body feel strong or weak? That's it.
If it feels weak, it's not yours.
If it's— if, if it makes you feel weak, it's a— it's an illusion, essentially. It's not who you are. Yeah.
So stop strapping yourself to the trash.
Exactly.
And stop walking around with a red Solo cup on your chest. Okay. Talk to me about Not a Single Penny from Pressure, Only Pleasure. Where did it come from? How does it live within your brand, your identity, like how you move through the world now?
So at the end of 2021, I was getting ready to end my marriage. And my, my partner had been suffering from severe PTSD and addiction for a really long time. And we had this conversation years ago when our kids were little, and that conversation was— it was interesting because his friends brought it up that we're married, and they're like, so what would you guys do? Imagine the scenario where, um, Jeremy, your wife falls off of a cliff and so does your daughter, and you can only save one. Who do you pick? Oh, And I look at him and I was like, if you don't drop me, you're going over next. And he said, same, right? It's like the most obvious answer for, for most people would be that. And they're like, why wouldn't you? You could just make a new kid. That's what they said. And we're like, what? I was like, no, no, no. The children that we have are our responsibility to, to, to protect and to keep safe and to nurture. And so we've always had this understanding of like, I was like, if it's the kid or me, you'll always pick the kid. And we got to the point where I had to make that decision of like, I can only save one of you and it's going to be the kids. And so we completed our marriage and he went on his journey, which by the grace of God, he has survived and he is doing so well and so amazing. And I'm so happy for him. And happy for my kids. But it was a moment where I was like, okay, I have been carrying so much weight for the last couple of years being a full-time caretaker of him, taking care of the children. Like, it was a really tumultuous season. And I remember thinking, like, number one, I am starving for, like, quality consistent dopamine. I'm starving for joy. I am starving for lightness. I am starving for light. And I remember I was selling a mastermind at the same time, and I was like, okay, I'm about to walk out of my marriage. I didn't— I had put a ton of cash into Freak, which by the way, like, I have a candle for you, don't worry.
Oh, thank God.
And Freak is coming back probably by the end of this year, but there's— oh my God, yes, I'll tell you more. I can't, I can't say anything else besides that, but Freak is coming back. But at the time, I had all my cash aside from like a few grand like in freak, and then I had put it into his trauma treatment center, which was like buckets of cash. And I was like, okay, I'm about to start my life over with essentially nothing. I'm like launching this mastermind. I'm like, okay, I've got to like keep money rolling. I have a team that I'm supporting, really holding a lot of duality at the same time. And I this girl messages me, she's like, I want into your mastermind. For some reason, I was guided to get on the phone with her, which I never do calls with. And she asked me a thousand questions, and I'm like, this is like just her asking questions, I'm all of a sudden feeling denser and denser and denser. But my mind was holding the duality of like, I don't think she's the right one, but I really need this money right now. However, I still told her no, and I was like, But weekly, by the way, it was a week now. And I was like, I really actually honestly think like you need therapy right now. Like I said that with like a tremendous amount of like reverence and love. I'm like, the things that you're describing to me more like a therapist's experience, not a business coach. And she's like, what if I promise to do both? I'll pay in full right now. And I'm like, well, okay. And I knew in that moment it was still the wrong decision and I said yes anyway. And it cost me way more money, way more money than I, than I earned from that pay in full. And I remember thinking, I will not ever do this to myself again. And I was like, I will only choose not a penny from pressure, only pleasure. I didn't say it in that way in that moment. Before I was saying, I'll always choose from love, not fear. And then I casually accidentally on a masterclass said one time, I've made a million dollars, not a penny from pressure, only pleasure. Like 18 months after that. And, and the chat just blew up and they're like, oh my God, I love that, not a penny from pressure.
So that's what it means. I love when you, when you just like channel a new catchphrase live on a masterclass.
Yeah, because you can see right away what lands and what doesn't. Exactly.
Yeah.
So I started thinking about that. I'm like, that is kind of the same thing that I've been saying this whole time, which is choose from love, not fear. And it just landed. Like, honestly, that's where all, like, my hope, my high-profile clients came in. It was that messaging of, like, what do you mean, not a penny from pressure? Even the bros started messaging me. They're like, can I have you on my podcast? Like, they wanted to know all of what I was doing. And I was like, I've really, like, landed on something here accidentally. And I've been saying it in this different way this whole time. It's been who I was, but I was really integrating it. It was when it integrated that everything just started changing. And now I'm known— like, I have the, you know, 6, 7, 8-figure entrepreneurs come to me and they're like, help me eliminate this pressure from my life. And that's when we start to rewire all of the interpretations of what's causing that stress for them.
Yeah, I mean, you've worked with a lot of highly successful people around reprogramming their beliefs and their experience of success and helping them step into these new identities and be more in receivership. What would you say are the most common things that hold people back from accessing new levels of, of wealth or experiencing success in a different, more grounded, um, easeful way?
Everything is accessed through a new lens of interpretation, and you'll know if you have it, if it makes you strong. So the way that I can simplify that for people is it becomes a new decision-making process. And this is what Not a Penny from Pressure, Only Pleasure means. It means if I check in with my future self and my future self feels more alive, it's a yes. If my future self feels less alive, it's a no. And that's why we rebranded the company to be called More Alive, is it really comes down to that one fundamental question, is I make all decisions with future self in consideration first, from what I eat, from what time I go to bed, from who I would go on dates with, from—
I need to do that with my bedtime.
God, I need to really, I need to really reel that in. I know, I know, I get that. It's not always easy to adopt that, but, but yeah, like, if you're— if you start to realign and make all decisions with future self in consideration first, does it make you feel more alive or less alive? If the answer is more alive, it's a yes. If it's less alive, it's a no. Every decision, once run through that one single question, will slowly over time acclimate you into a life that you don't want to run from, a life that makes you feel soft but superhuman, like I said when I showed up, a life that feels nourishing, a life that feels integrated, a life that feels like your truth, a life that makes you feel strong. Like I've said for a really long time, I'm like, by the time I'm 80, I want to feel the most alive I've ever been. One, and I know that this is my path. It's this one decision-making process.
Is that the same concept that is Alive Money? Is that like the concept of Alive Money, is that it's something that you're take— you're taking money from something that's going to make you feel more alive?
Yes. If you like zoomed out and looked at it like holistically and really succinctly, yes. Like my whole brand is that one piece. The thing that gets— the reason people can't walk away with just that, which you could if you— it's the 'yeah, buts' that I get from people of like, 'But it doesn't work here,' and 'It doesn't work here.' And that's really like what the body of my work supports, all of the 'yeah, buts,' where I can show you— and this is like why I said like interpretation is everything— I've become a master interpreter of like, you've got to be able to say something in a way that not only the, the scientists in us, but like the inner 5-year-old and the inner 80-year-old can all be like, yep. And to find that, the congruence between all of those different ways of thinking, those facets of our mind, does take some creativity. But a lot of the yeah buts can be solved by saying, you know, a lot of people will say first like, yeah, but Andrea, I have to be able to make money. So that's nice for you cuz you've been making millions of dollars. Please don't forget that like I only had a few grand in the bank when I started this experiment. It was a whole fucking experiment of like, well, that's not working, let me try this way. And then I have like built the language over the last few years that have really supported that. But it was like a true all-in experiment for me first because the other way, like I felt like hell every single day. Right.
It's like we have We have nothing to lose, so, cuz what we're doing right now sucks and also isn't working, so I guess we'll just try this and see, right? See what happens.
And so I offer the logic, which is if we decide from fear, blood leaves brain, making us faster but less intelligent. And there's no time that you could ever imagine making a decision in business with compromised intelligence where that would create something that you would be really happy about. Mm-hmm. Mm.
That's interesting because we hear a lot that like money loves speed, and I do think that that's true in, in a lot of scenarios. But I've also seen a post where you said that the exact same strategy has made you millions and also cost you millions, and that strategy was speed. So what you just said there, kind of like the blood leaves the brain 'cause you're making a choice from fear. What is— how, like, how can you correlate that with, like, speed? Because sometimes I think people— well, I don't know, do you think fear makes us slow down our decision-making, or do you think it makes us impulsively speed up?
I think it convolutes our decision-making because when we're afraid, our mind gets hyper-focused on one thing, which is perceived threat. So if I have a knife to my head, my mind is going to be very focused on knife. Knife, right? But I may not— so what happens is I get crystal clear, hyper-focused on knife, but my peripheral vision shuts down. So I lose a tremendous amount of sight. I lose a tremendous amount of information. And so I might know exactly how to— I could probably draw the blade, but could I draw the person holding the blade? Maybe, maybe not. And so So when we're building business, oftentimes we're looking at like avoiding threat versus causing something that would create this like force field around us, right? I'm looking at like build the force field so the threat can't fucking penetrate it, right? That's the decision-making process I'm interested in.
Yeah, yeah, because a lot of people are moving in business of by like they're making their moves based on how to avoid the threat. As you said, like avoid losing money, making a bad investment, getting it wrong, creating the wrong product, messing up their offer suite, looking stupid, saying the wrong thing, posting something that flops. Like it's all avoid the threat, avoid, avoid the threat. And what you're saying is how can we focus on actually causing a force field that will make those threats irrelevant to us?
Exactly. And the more that— like, speed is such a fascinating topic because, like I said, it can be the thing that makes you the most money and also can cost you a tremendous amount of money. When you're making a decision from fear, oftentimes that, that brings in immediate cash, but it costs future self. And so I'm— like I said, I make all decisions with future self in consideration first. I might make less cash cash today. But because I left the passenger seat in my beautiful fucking Mercedes open, that means that I didn't get the person who's gonna ask me 10,000— I didn't get the person in my passenger seat that's like, I have to pee again, I have to pee again. I have like— I might have got her in there fast, but she's gonna slow me way the fuck down on getting where it is that I'm trying to go, right? And so I'm looking at like, can I hold the posture of knowingness? Can look for the evidence and remember that when I say all the time that the reason we keep getting less is because we keep saying yes to it. We keep saying yes to that person who's here now versus the person we really want to serve.
Yeah.
It's like the lesson that we're all, I think, trying to learn in life in general of like the not taking that instant gratification, not settling for the breadcrumbs because it gives you comfort now or it makes you feel love for a moment, but actually like like you're saying, having future self in consideration and choosing for longevity rather than immediacy and that kind of quick hit. But to your point, where a lot of people, um, kind of maybe have a resistance to this idea of like, not a penny from pressure, only from pleasure, because their, their but statement is like, but I need to make money now. Like, I can't afford to like have that slow down. I know that you had like a really big year in there where you, you know, grew your business by 300%. Was, was there a pullback, kind of slowdown before that explosion because you started saying no to things from pressure or no to the wrong types of clients or no to the passengers that were gonna slow you down? Was there a kind of like, ooh, okay, this is uncomfortable, but I have to kind of hold the line of what I believe in and really test this experiment and then it like built up enough momentum where it exploded? Or what would, what did that actually look like?
You know, I didn't then, but I have experienced that. We experienced that last fall where we did an intentional slowdown to speed up from Love and Wisdom, which was like, I've promised myself I'm gonna build a business that has longer legs than I do. Like I want my business to hold legacy, not this life. And so in that moment though, it was like, It wasn't that I slowed down. In fact, I started making much money much faster. There was one month where like my income took a hit and that was when my husband moved out and that was a really fucking hard month. But when I look at the year holistically, I zoomed out and we still don't have a 300% increase in my coaching business. And so what happened though was, is I started asking like, if I'm saying no to this, where is my yes? Because we're assuming that if we say no to this, there isn't another one. And that's not true. It's just that we're only focused on this one. But if we turned around, there might be something way better behind us. So it's, it's asking the next question. It's asking a bigger question. It's asking the question. It's tapping into your future self and saying like, if she's already done this, if she's 3x her business, if she's 10x her business, does she say yes to this? No, because she doesn't need the money, so she's not going to say yes to this, like, sense of urgency, right? So I might say no to something, and then I'm like, okay, I still have to hold the duality of I've got to make money. So I'm going to ask a bigger question that she would ask, and she would ask, then if the energy isn't here, then where is it? And so the whole year, it was just a game of where is my energy, and I did that at hyper fucking speed. I did it. I felt more alive than I ever did because all of a sudden I wasn't a caretaker to another grown human for a really long time. Like, I got a tremendous amount of energy back and I was able to divert that energy towards, um, towards my business and creating financial longevity and safety for myself and my children.
So cool. Do your kids think that you're like really cool, or what do you think their perception of you is? Because like, if you were my mom, I'd be like, you're like all the stories and just like your life and, you know, you know, coming from like trailer park, teen mom, stripper, like all these, you know, challenges and adversities and everything, like the relationships and divorce. And like, if I were your kid and I were old enough to like have this perception, I'd be like, you are fucking superwoman.
My kids, when they were little, were like, no, they don't care unless we got like a cool hotel deal or something like that. Then they're like, my mom's the best. Like black car service, good hotel, a nice suite will, will change your children's perceptions of you for sure.
We all love luxury, what can we say?
I know, I know, absolutely. Taurus rising, I'm here for it. Um, but now my daughter actually works for me, she's my executive assistant, and she actually gets to see the behind the scenes of like the decision-making. She's a part of the team and she's like, wow, like we're really doing something special. I never thought she would ever want to work with me. Like, I always imagined her going off and doing her own thing. And then it was just like right place, right time for both of us. Very kismet moment. I picked up the phone and I was like, I kind of like, I had to let go of a past team member and I was like, I need maybe her as a temp. I called her and I was like, hey, so what do you think? And her psychic Pisces ass goes, yeah, I've been thinking about it too. Yes, I want to work for you. She didn't even let me finish my sentence.
Oh my God.
I was like, holy shit. Okay. I was like, all right. So we thought it would be for a couple months, and that started last summer. So we're like— she's like, yeah, I'll probably do this for another 2 or 3 years. And I was like, are you kidding? Like, she loves it. She loves it. That's amazing. And my son, definitely, he, he hasn't had that like intimate experience, but he— every once in a while he's like, oh yeah, this is your job. I should have come to you sooner. When he asks me for advice, like, he'll suffer. In silence for a little while, and then he'll be like, white flag, help! I forgot you're really good at this.
Thanks. Yeah, I'm sure it's different when it's like your mom too, but it's so cool. I, I just think it's— yeah, everything that you've been able to build and do and transmute. And like you said, it's, it's a tough life assignment to be assigned as the Phoenix Rising.
Um, thank you for seeing me.
Yeah, like, fuck, like, no, no one's like, oh my God, yes, Yes, thank God.
