How to Bend the Will of the Universe in Your Favor & Create Your Own F*%king Path w/ Zoey Greco
11 Sept 2024 · 73 min
In this episode of the Makeshift Happen podcast, host Samantha Daly welcomes intuitive empath and spiritual coach Zoe Greco for a deep, unfiltered conversation that weaves together personal history, energetic insights, and future guidance. Zoe recounts her early psychic awakening, the supportive yet questioning role of her parents, and how she channeled those gifts into a thriving spiritual business. The dialogue explores her cross‑religious marriage, the challenges of balancing privilege with purpose, and the decision to rebrand from “Merhipsy” to her own name, emphasizing authenticity and color symbolism (red/burgundy). Zoe provides a live aura reading for Samantha, interpreting red (authority), blue (expression), and purple (channeling) layers, and they discuss their Human Design charts as Generators with Sacral Authority. A substantial portion of the conversation focuses on future guidance: Samantha’s upcoming crossroads of selective collaboration, scaling influence, and integrating work‑life balance, as well as the alchemical role of the ego in transforming pain into empowerment. Throughout, they address feelings of uniqueness, the importance of using privilege to uplift others, and the need to discern which voices to amplify. Interspersed are promotional segments for a Virgo‑season giveaway, a Listener‑of‑Month cash incentive, and an Instagram‑Stories sales course. The tone shifts between conversational, reflective, prophetic, and persuasive, offering listeners both spiritual insight and practical encouragement.

All right, you guys, thank you so much for tuning in. I love you and I can't wait to see your entries. What's up, guys? Welcome back to the podcast. I'm really excited for today's episode because I think I've found my energetic twin. In this episode, I am joined by intuitive empath and spiritual coach Zoe Greco, who describes herself as your supportive psychic angel baby bestie. And that is the absolute best description. Description for her. Zoe is a super interesting individual, and she has a really cool origin story because she's actually had her intuitive ability her entire life, as well as this gift for healing. So she's been able to describe her past lives and experiences in the beyond since she was an infant. And then all through her childhood, she was able to see what wasn't there and hear what wasn't said. So renowned psychics instantly kind of recognized her as this gifted individual and prophesied that she would one day have a really powerful impact on the world. Later in her college years, her abilities seemingly expanded to a bit of an overwhelming degree, and although it wasn't really her life plan or the career that she had thought she was going to go down, she really felt like it was time to make this inevitable shift into her life's calling. And so today, through her podcast The Mystic Rebel and her intuitive activation mentorship and her oracle cards and crystal decks, Zoe helps others experience healing and discover community and feel far less alone in their spiritual and personal journeys. She teaches others how to strengthen the power of their intuition through the use of many spiritual tools and modalities so that they can manifest a life of endless possibilities. And isn't that what we are all trying to do? So in this conversation today, we talk about what it was like growing up as a spiritual child and being able to recall her past lives and channel spirits from as young as 2 years old, getting over what others will think of you and not allowing that external noise to impact the choices and the risks that you feel called to take in this lifetime. We talk about how Zoe knew that she would marry her husband after their very first date. We also discuss Mormonism, spirituality, and religion, and what Zoe and I each individually believe in that aspect. We talk about soul contracts between life partners and growing together with someone that you're in relationship with over many, many years, the courage that it takes to rebrand in today's market and really own your personal evolution online. And so Zoe gives me answers as to why I've never had déjà vu. Finally, if you guys have been listening, if you've been listening to the podcast, you know this is a question that I've had come up pretty much ever since Egypt. So I presented Zoe with this question and she gives me some answers which were really interesting. And then we'll also talk about the 4 different psychic powers and which of those that Zoe believes I possess, and maybe which ones you feel that you possess. And then you'll also get this unfiltered behind the scenes of a personal aura reading that Zoe does for me and some psychic insights that she has into my future. Oh boy, we didn't cut anything out, so we left the whole thing in there for you guys because it's definitely juicy. So her and I also jam on how to really bend the will of the universe in your favor and carve out your own fucking path in life in accordance to your soul's unique blueprint. So if you are here for the woo, I think you're gonna love this episode. Are you ready for some cosmic realness? All right, Let's dive in. Welcome to the Makeshift Happen podcast. I'm your host, Samantha Daly, entrepreneur, life coach, and your no BS bestie, here to bring you all things mindset, manifestation, and personal development. This podcast is designed to help you expand your mind and uplevel your life. So turn the volume up and roll the windows down if you're coming along for the ride. Let's go make shit happen.
I have actually so many things to say about your energy, so I am really excited to get to that part of this experience. But I think we're about to have a really good conversation. I felt that this morning when I woke up. I like always kind of tap into each thing on my schedule at the beginning of the day and just like ask I asked Spirit, is there anything I need to know about that, or anything like specifically that I'm being asked to like hone in on, or like bring to that experience? And Spirit just said like, prepare to have an incredible conversation. So no pressure on us, but, uh, the universe is behind us and supporting us in this endeavor. So I'm very excited.
I love that. Oh my God, I'm really excited. I know, I just, I feel like we're gonna vibe really well. So I have a couple of questions that I want to start out with, because as I was reading through some of, you know, your background and your experience it really stood out to me that you are someone who, since a really young age, was able to recall their past lives. And this really jumped out to me because I did my training in past life regression therapy, and that was something that like really spoke to me. And I just wanted to kind of do that mostly for myself, but then of course to just have as a tool in my toolbox, whether it's for me or family members or clients. So I am enthralled with this idea of past lives. So I was like, oh, I have to ask her about what it was like.
And maybe—
I don't know, I know those memories kind of like fade as we, as we get older, but I'm just so curious what it was like being a child that had, you know, memories of their past lives and what those were. And kind of maybe like what that was like for your parents. Like, do they remember that time? Like, what were they thinking? Was that totally new to them, or were they like really spiritually versed people that were just like, oh yeah, you know, the veil is thin when they're little? Or like, were they like, what the fuck?
Okay, so I have something I think you're really gonna love, and your business is gonna love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram Stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales, but if your Instagram Stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on stories isn't about how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing. And the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look at me content and calling it authority, sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story selling sequence designed to drive drive demand and convert sales. We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more. You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is going to give you 5 high-converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides from authority building all the way to offer flow in than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under 6 hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy. You already know your offer is incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is. Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next story your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside.
Yeah, I think it's so funny you bring up my parents because I think their reaction to that experience with me is probably like, what I hold on to the most because we didn't like have TV. I was talking about this from a very, very early age, like I'm talking 2 years old bath time, and I'm just kind of babbling and my parents were like, sorry, what did she just say? So I definitely, um, the life that I talked about the most, and this is so funny but also like very on brand for me, um, I talked about a past life where I had— I was with um, a love, a lover, and he left me and all of our kids to like be in a, like a biker gang basically. And, um, I was like really like, I was very upset and I would talk about like, he left me with all these kids, like he's just off with his friends, his like cool guy friends is how I would describe them. My parents were like, sorry, where is she getting this? Because this is not an influence that's like anywhere in our lives or like our energy. And to be honest, it wasn't so much the past life experiences that I think were, um, like difficult for me to reconcile, but it was more like the constant channeling of other energies and like their experiences that would kind of get me— I don't want to say into trouble, but would kind of get me noticed at school in a way that was, um, concerned. Like they were kind of like, why is she writing these things? Like, where is this coming from? So my parents, luckily, from a really early age were just like, she clearly is connected to something that like we don't know a lot about, but that we're not connected to. And my dad, bless him, he's like not a very spiritual person, was just like— we actually had this conversation recently and he said, you know, I just assume that you're more evolved than I am. Like, I just assume that your spirit is more evolved than mine, that you like understand these things and have this language that I just don't have. And luckily, my mom, she's just always been a spiritually curious person. She grew up inside of religion but then decided to like kind of forge her own path and really wanted to give me the space to do the same thing. So when she kind of noticed that I was saying things or like hinting at things or expressing feelings or thoughts, um, she was the first to be like, well, let's create some space for this. Like, we're not going to squash it, we're not going try and control it or derail this. Like, let's see what happens when we just make space for her to fully be herself. And then as I got older, she would take me to see different practitioners, and just so that I had role models and I had mentors and I had people in my life that I could see what it looked like to exist in the world as a connected and spiritual person. So I always tell people, I feel that my story is a little bit unique, and I feel really fortunate that I've had the opportunity to like know myself as deeply as possible without the interruption of the world. Like, I haven't had— I'm not someone that's had to rediscover my abilities. I'm someone that's been able to stay connected to them since early life. And I just— it's honestly something I hold so much gratitude around. I talk about it on pretty much every show I go on because I think it's important for people to hear, especially parents to hear if you have a child that is expressing spiritual connectivity or past life, like, remembrance, or any sort of, like, spiritual gift, to just, like, create some space for that. Like, hold space, ask questions, see if you can find, like, role models or resources or tools. Like, even if you're just buying kids little crystals, like, things that will just help them stay connected to that part of themselves, because it's so invaluable. It's like the reason that I was able to build a business and like my dream life in my 20s rather than like my 30s or 40s or beyond, because I just didn't have to kind of go through the process of finding all of that in myself again. Does that make sense?
Yeah, yeah. So it sounds like even though maybe they didn't fully understand and it wasn't something that they had experienced themselves, that they were at least open and supportive of allowing that to kind of like flourish within you, and it was never like, it was never positioned in a way where it's like, that's bad, stop it, or turn it off, or—
absolutely. Like, it was just encouraged. And I feel so fortunate as well. I'm an only child. I have a half-sister through my father, but like, we were both raised as only children. We have like a big age gap, and I just didn't even have like siblings around to kind of like make fun of me or like tease me out of my like little witchy ways and I was definitely the kid that like came home from school and like went up to my attic with little apothecary bottles and like mixed potions and talked to ghosts. And like, I have— I was that girly who took oracle cards to the sleepover, and I have decks right here in these drawers in front of me that I've had since I was 7 years old. Like, these tools have been with me my whole life, and I definitely did myself try and like shy away from it. And I think my parents also were kind of like, okay, well, like, you can totally be spiritual and like you can be psychic, but like, is that a career? Is it a— like, is it like a path to your livelihood? Is it a, is it a path to fulfillment, you know, in terms of like, um, career or any of those things? And I think the answer that they came to was like, no, probably not. And they invested heavily in my education and tried to give me all of the best opportunities and experiences. And spirit just knows, like spirit knows who it is calling forward. Spirit like will not allow anything to stand in its way. And so So after college, when all of my peers were like applying to be Fulbright Scholars and like go to, you know, master's programs, I was like, I think I'm gonna just like be a psychic. And they were like, okay, like just wanting the best for me. Like they, they've always wanted to— I think like any good parents, like want to protect me from, you know, difficult outcomes to my choices or like different difficult consequences to my actions. And I feel so grateful every day that I've had so much faith in me that, like, whether or not they thought being a psychic was, you know, the, the path of success, they knew that I would find my way to success. They believed in me as a person. And I think that's the most important thing, is like seeing your child for who they are as a person. And I say this not as a parent— I'm not a parent, I don't plan to be a parent. I think I have enough responsibility on my plate just being me and like taking care of myself. But I also recognize like all of these things that really supported me in being who I am. And I have so much compassion for people who didn't receive that, which is why, you know, as a person, I think my, my vibe is a little more like edgy. I am kind of sarcastic, I make lots of jokes. But in the space of clienthood, like where I hold space in my practitionership, I really like— I'm here to be everyone's mom, like I'm here to be everyone's sister. Just holding so much space and compassion and allowing that space that they never received when they were younger to kind of explore themselves and understand themselves in a spiritual context and as a spiritual being. And my friends kind of always say, like, when they hear my work or my podcast or anything, they're like, you sound really different. And I'm like, yeah, I don't really have to do this for you. And when I do, I can do it in a different way, um, because we already have a relationship. But just like holding that space of compassion and creating room for people to discover themselves is so important and so vital, whether you receive it in childhood or whether you receive it in adulthood. And I think you can probably relate to that as well, just like holding people's dreams and helping them connect to the actualization of those dreams. It's the same thing in a lot of ways.

Yeah, yeah, I get asked, um, a lot about, you know, my path to success, and especially when I graduated college and I decided to decline my corporate job offers and move to Spain for a guy that I'd met on a dating app because I felt really called and I just felt like that was where I was meant to be. And it was again like a, you know, a self-trust thing, and my parents not really understanding it, of course wanting to protect me not really seeing how that was going to add up to me, you know, living a safe, financially secure, you know, fulfilled life, having a great career. Like the dots didn't align for them. But they also trusted me as an individual. They, they knew, you know, okay, she's, she's not, she's not dumb. Like she's very intelligent. She's really smart. She's always been super independent. Like she knows what she wants. She always has. I was the kid that like when it was time to go to school, you know, my mom's a mess. I'm her last kid. Going off, and I just walked in and didn't even say goodbye. She said that I waved to her with my arm behind me, like, see you later, see you later, off I go. So, you know, it always just— that kind of just— that aligns with who I was as a person and my energy. But I'm curious because I get asked a lot, you know, how did you trust yourself enough to not care about the opinions of other people or to not overthink and worry yourself about like like, is this the right choice? Is this dumb? You just met this guy, moving to a foreign country. You're not going to make very much money. You're abandoning your career. You know, your parents just invested a lot in helping you get this amazing degree, like, at a great school. Like, how did you not let that noise take over the decision-making process? And it's interesting looking back because I was obviously a lot younger at the time, and I'm just like, I think I've always just kind of had that that like sacral authority, that like sacral knowing of I just knew that it's what I wanted. And so I didn't really— I mean, obviously you want people to be supportive of your decisions, and I wanted, I wanted it to make sense to everybody, but even though it didn't, it wasn't going to stop me. And I don't know, maybe that's like a toxic trait of mine where I'm like, I, I don't really need your opinion because I already know what I'm gonna do, so I'm gonna do it anyways regardless of whether you care or not. Um, I even had like an ex-boyfriend at one time that was like, when I went away to school, we, we were at separate schools, and, and he, he started getting like really jealous about certain things of like, why are you wearing that crop top and you're going to fraternity parties and all the guys are gonna want to flirt with you and blah blah. And my response was always, you can either get over it or we can break up. Like, I was, I was never like, oh, maybe I should like change myself or like meet me, like, I was just like, if you don't want me wearing a crop top, then like we can just break up because like I'm gonna do it. So I wonder, like, for you, like, being so anchored as well in your own, uh, gifts and like what you wanted and what felt like the right decision to you even if it didn't make sense to everyone else, is that something you feel like you always just had too as a personality trait? Or I don't know, where does that come from, do you think?
So So first of all, the words coming out of your mouth could come out of my mouth. Like, we are the same person. Same person, different font, for sure. Um, yeah, I'm very similar to you. Like, when it was time to apply to study abroad, I was like, oh, did I not tell you guys I'm leaving for Thailand in 2 days? Like, I already arranged that. Like, I had— like, I've already done all the things. So yeah, I think it's like there are some of us that are just born with that sort of like powerful energy. And I think I'm an Aries, so I obviously have like a lot of fiery leadership energy in me in general. But I think at least the confidence I had to pursue my career, or kind of like the direction I took my life in, I think there's a part of me that— and again, like, like you said, this could be like a toxic trait of mine— but because I was so— I was seen and told that I was so wise for my years, like that was kind of always a thing that people told me. And because I had sort of this like vision into life and into the future that maybe other people didn't have, I kind of had like a little bit of a know-it-all thing where I was like, well, I already know what's gonna happen because I've seen it. Like, I know where I'm going. The night I met my husband, the night I met him, I was like, oh fuck, we're gonna get married. And luckily I had like the wherewithal not to say that out loud to this person that I just met, this like 23-year-old guy that I just met. But, you know, even when he was like, no, not, not necessarily certain, I was like, sorry, I don't, I don't know how to tell you this, like, we are gonna get married. Like, there's, like, I already know it's gonna happen. I saw it. So, like, I don't know, you might as well just fall in love with me now because I think you're going to no matter what. So just kind of that feeling like I know what's gonna happen. And the other thing too is, you know, people— and you've probably experienced this, you know, being a, so, like, a public figure— like, when I'm on social media and I'm sharing things like things I've heard spirits say or things that, you know, angels told me, it really can trigger people. Like, it can really upset them, and their response is always to like attack me personally and just say like bonkers, off-the-wall stuff. And I think I'm just so prepared for that experience because like being psychic and being a spiritually connected person in a world that doesn't really like prioritize that or support that, I've had to just really from the beginning be like, you know what, I totally respect that you don't agree with me. But like, I know what's true because I'm talking to angels all day long. Like, they tell me stuff and then it happens. So like, proof's in the pudding, baby. Like, I don't know what else to tell you. And I think it's just like the fact that I've had a strong relationship with my intuition all along that made me feel like, okay, well, the decisions that I want to make that other people don't understand is fine because they're not for that person. Like, that's not their path, it's my path. And you need to understand my path and I don't need to understand yours. We just have to honor and accept that we're making different choices. And I think like acceptance and tolerance is so, so important. Like, my husband comes from the LDS religion, so he was raised Mormon. And when we got together in our early 20s, everyone on both sides was like, what are you doing? Like, this will never last. You're not— you can't make this work. You're not meant for each other. And we were like, that's cool that you have so many opinions about our relationship, but like, we're pretty certain what we're doing And from the very beginning, we just had this agreement, like, you're allowed to be different than me. I don't need you to think the same things or believe the same things for me to love you. Like, I know you're a good person. I know that you have values that I respect, and you have some differences of opinion. And over the years, like, we've really found our way to this beautiful, like, middle ground of, like, emotional regulation and clarity. And, like, the love has only grown and enhanced over the years. The differences didn't bring us away from each other, they brought us closer to ourselves and like helped us understand ourselves more deeply. And I think I just apply that to all things in life. Like, I'm not really— I used to be like, I used to love being right. I was like debate captain queen over here. Like, I love to tell you you're wrong and I'm gonna make sure you know it. But as I've gotten older, and especially like since stepping into more of like a spiritual path, I just am like, I don't need to debate you because guess what, like, we're gonna die and then we'll find out who's right. So like, let's just wait like, see what happens.
Because I literally always say that. Yeah, my main spiritual belief is like, I don't really care what you believe or what I believe because none of— we're all just pretending to think that we know what's right. Like, no one actually knows. The only people that know are dead. So by the time we figure it out, we're also going to be dead. The only thing that really matters to me when it comes to spiritual beliefs is like, are— is, is what you're choosing to believe making your time on Earth more enjoyable, more powerful, more full of love, more full of service, you know, like, that's it. It's like, if I choose to believe in God and angels and spirit guides and crystals and, you know, uh, the ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses and whatever else I, I believe and I hold space for, as long as it's helping me feel more anchored in like knowing who I am and giving me the faith to be able to take risks and walk in purpose and build like a bigger, more beautiful life, because I feel like I have this safety net, because I have this faith, I have this belief holding me, walking beside me, then that's all that matters. Because by the time I die and I find out all the things I was right about and all the things that I was probably wrong about, it's going to be neither here nor there. It's only going to matter that the way I lived on Earth was the best that I possibly could. And I think that I need certain spiritual beliefs to be able to hold me up and help me walk in that journey of faith and risk-taking and creating a big, beautiful life. So that's so funny. I'm like, we're all gonna find out when we die. So, well, I think I'll see you there.
Yes, exactly. I think the way that— I just, I love what you just said, and I think what I'm really hearing from you is like you've discovered how you can best utilize energy and you just shift your mind, like you focus your thoughts and your like energetic trajectory on the thoughts and the beliefs that align you with the future that you see for yourself. And like, I really identify that in you. And again, I'm very excited to dive into the reading on you because like I have a lot of things to say and they're all really good, which is— I love that for you. Um, yeah, I know, it's like me. Uh, but I definitely identify with that as well, like this idea that your beliefs are the way that you utilize energy and the way that you sort of control the flow of energy through you and also like around you. And I really feel that in you, and I see that in you, that like your thoughts and your mindset and sort of the beliefs that you hold about yourself, about the world, about like the place that those two things meet energetically and sort of like, um, like atomically almost, like really bends the will of the universe like in your favor, which is all I want people to know how to do. Like, I want to teach everyone how do that because it's magical. And like, look what happens when you do it. Yeah, like, look where you are. Look at the things that you've created for yourself. And like, through authenticity, through the expression of your unique and true self, you've like bent energy to make room for you to like walk forward into your destiny. And like, I just think that's the coolest thing ever.
Yeah, yeah. Oh my God, I think— okay, so I have a couple of questions.
I want to go—
I want to circle back to you and your husband. You mentioned that he came from LDS and Mormon tradition. You're obviously very spiritual, um, which is not something that is, you know, very going to be accepted in Mormon traditions. How challenging was it? Obviously you said it wasn't challenging for you guys because you are both seemingly open-minded people. It helped you come closer together. Maybe you learned things from him, he learned things from you, you found this middle ground. But with the other people, like maybe his family or your family, how difficult was that? Is— does he still identify with the Mormon religion? How does that show up in your lives? And if that's like too much of a personal question, I totally understand, but I'm like so enthralled with the intersection of religion and spirituality because I also— I'm assuming as you are very like, I'm an open person. And I'm like, oh, that's cool that you believe that. How does that fit, like, with what I believe? But obviously a lot of other people are operating in more black and whites of like, with what I believe, you're not allowed, or you're bad, or you are devil worshiping, or— right? There's a lot of other extreme beliefs that might pop up. What was that kind of experience like trying to meld your two families?
Totally. Um, talking about my husband is my favorite subject, so I'm like happy to talk about him all day long. Um, we're actually a week away from our 8-year wedding anniversary. We've been together for 10 years, and I really believe that we pre-design our life experiences to a degree. Obviously there's things in life that we still have to navigate and that we have to like use our free will to make choices around, but but I genuinely truly believe that like we chose to come back to life just to have another opportunity to spend time like this together. Like, I— we found each other early. I believe we have a beautiful long life ahead of us, and like we're just here to enjoy each other, which is part of why we're like, no kids this time around, right? Like, let's skip them this time. And I think because we made those choices pre-life, we also created circumstances for ourselves that would really they support our decision to be together again in this lifetime. So his family is actually incredibly loving and supportive. And, you know, he comes from a religion that's really, really strict, so it would make perfect sense that they would not like me or not support our relationship or not be on board. And his entire family is so loving, so accepting. All they ever have said was, just remember, you marry who you date. Like, when we were first dating and they found out I wasn't a member, because I'm his first non-member partner, um, a member of the church. And so they were like, just remember, you marry who you date. And he was like, that's the plan. So, uh, we have really been able to navigate this beautifully. And I think in all the ways that he could have anticipated that I might have experienced difficulty, he really tried to step in and say like, hey, no one's gonna ask her if she's gonna convert. Like, no one's gonna ask those questions. No one's gonna like put that on that's not my expectation of her, and I don't need it to be your expectation. We have a rule in our, in our marriage: your people, your problem. So it's like, if there's something going on with like your family, like, you better handle that. Like, you better go over there and handle that. And same thing for me, if there's something going on with my family, I'm going to take every step that I need to to make sure that that's rectified. And, you know, with my family too, they were nervous. They, they see that religion, or used to see that religion, as kind of cultish, and they were nervous that I might get sucked into something that was dangerous. But again, they trusted me and knew that I know myself. And over the years, um, even like before we got married, in just those 2 years that we were dating, his family fell in love with me, my family fell in love with him, and we genuinely have so much support. And I know for a fact that if anyone tried to say anything or disparage either one of us, that either side of our family would step forward and correct that right away. And I think we just chose that for ourselves. But also, like, we are both very determined people. And so our family knows, like, if you don't support us, like, you're probably not going to be a part of our lives. And it's more important to them to be in our lives than to not be. So I think that's part of, like, being a strong-willed human being and, like, setting boundaries. Like, we're both people that are really good at setting boundaries. And we, we're open to taking in thoughts or opinions, but they're never going to be more important than our collective perspective on our relationship. Um, he has since become inactive. He's no longer a member. Um, and I, you know, I've had a lot of people say, oh my gosh, you must be so happy, like, oh, this is probably what you've been waiting for. And my first— I'm always like, no, no, no, uh, he can be whoever he wants to be. If he wanted to go back tomorrow, he can go back tomorrow. I know his heart and I know his soul, and I know that he's an amazing person. And his path to self-discovery is not mine to design. Like, he can be whoever he wants to be, and I think that I can love whoever he chooses to be. But the idea that people thought that I would be happier or that I would like celebrate that he walked away from, you know, the foundation of his entire life, I think was just so like so insulting. And also I don't, I don't really like when people assume that, like, I— he's really stylish and people are like, oh, do you dress him? Like, nope, he just has great taste. Like, why, why would we discredit this amazing human being and just assume that anything great about him is like my doing? Like, anything that he decides to be, I support. And I have loved growing up together. Like, we've been together since our early 20s, and I have loved watching him transform into who he is today. And I am going to be enthralled to continue to watch who he becomes. And I would say that he probably feels— I mean, if I do say so myself, I think he feels the same way. He's watched me heal from my deeper traumas and, you know, pull myself out of victimhood and like regulate my nervous system. And, and he's a huge part of how that happened. So, you know, whoever he, whoever he came to me being, regardless of how that happened, whatever influences or beliefs shaped who he was, like like, all I knew was he was just perfect exactly the way he is, and he just continues to be perfect in my eyes. I always tell him— this is like so silly, and I, I actually do believe it, so that's like kind of messed up— but I always tell him, you're the greatest person that's ever lived, that is living, or will ever live. And like, I tell him that every day because I want him to feel that way about himself. And like, I don't need anyone to agree with me. Like, he's not other people's cup of tea, tea, but he's my cup of tea. And like, my opinion is that he's the greatest human of all time, and I think he's amazing. And I think everyone deserves to have someone in their corner that cheers them on and like makes them feel that way about themselves. And I can genuinely say it's returned, and our beliefs and our differences in our beliefs have only helped us help each other expand our consciousness. He's also autistic, and so I think that's been really interesting too. Because when we first met, I'm an empath, right? And he's like, he has a smaller emotional spectrum than I do. So I would have a lot of feelings and he would be like, I don't understand the feelings you're feeling, like, I don't get them. And he taught me that I don't need someone to identify with my feelings or feel my feelings with me for me to feel loved or supported or understood. So we've just helped each other grow, and luckily our families have seen that, and they both know that we've made each other better, and they love us for that. So we just— we're so, like, we're so blessed in that. But also, like, it's— we chose that, and we protected it, and we built boundaries around it, and we, we built, like, walls of love. Walls of love, right? Like, hey, I love that you care enough to share how you feel. Thank you so much. I'm not going to take that on, but I appreciate that you feel like you can be honest with me about how you feel and and you care about me so deeply and you care about us so deeply. Thank you for that input. Thank you for that perspective. I'm not going to adopt it, but I appreciate it. And, you know, we've, we've worked hard to like protect what we've made, and we'll keep doing that.
Yeah, I think there's something really special about growing with a partner over time. Like, I've also been with my partner for almost 10 years now, and we met in our really early 20s, and We've been so many different versions of ourselves together, and our belief systems have grown and evolved and changed together as a result of, you know, our lives and the way that they've intersected. And we live— we've lived in different countries together. I met him while I was in Spain when I was studying abroad when I was 21, and then I moved there, and we were there for 6 years together. And he was really like leading our life there because I was trusting him to guide us and support us. And, and then I started my business and that like really kind of started to take off and I took on this role of like the breadwinner out of nowhere and that really changed our dynamic. And then we decided to move to the US and buy a house together and he started his whole career over here. And yeah, it was just like, I think there's something really special about having that perspective with, you know, your partner of loving who they are at their core and being so open and excited for all the different evolutions and versions of them to come because you know who they are, um, deep down and that whatever, you know, they evolve into is gonna be something that you're really, you're excited to meet that version of them too. So I love that you can definitely feel and hear how much you adore your husband. So that's really sweet. Really, really sweet. And I think it's, you know, it's helpful for a lot of people to hear that because because a lot of people have, you know, whether it's religion or politics or whatever is kind of getting in the way of their families like really getting along, or even in dating, you know. I have a lot of friends that are single and they're kind of trying to find this per— this perfect person who's like already formed and, and ready for them. And I'm just kind of a fan of like, if you like who the person is on the inside it's going to be fun to grow with them. They don't need to have the Maseratis already. They don't need to have all of the wealth. They don't need to have their career perfectly figured out and on lock. Like, you can grow and evolve together, and that's part of the fun of the journey. So I love that. Okay, I have, um, a question about the— this Merhipsi name. Am I saying that right? Um, I was like, what is this? I need ChatGPT So I typed it into ChatGPT. It tells me that it's likely a combination of the word mermaid and gypsy, suggesting a mystical, free-spirited identity. But I'm gonna, I'm gonna let you, I'm gonna let you fill in the gaps here. What is merhipsy, and why is that something that you go by?
So I actually don't anymore. Oh, it's, it's a, it's an identity that I adopted in my early 20s when I was living abroad in Thailand during the height of cultural appropriation in the spiritual community. Um, I thank, I thank the Lord every day I don't have like a dreamcatcher tattoo. No offense to anyone that does, but I'm just grateful that I didn't make certain choices out of that like mentality. Because spiritual practices are based on the practices of peoples and, you know, like sacred traditions. And I think it's important to acknowledge that and to make space for those people to utilize their own practices.. And so merhipsi is a portmanteau, which is a word made of other words that I invented, which is a combination of mermaid, hippie, gypsy. So ChatGPT was almost right. It was really close. And it was brought to my attention probably in like 2017 or 2018 that, um, gypsy is actually a racial slur and it's not a term that the Romani people prefer to go by. They can use it themselves, but it's not for me to use. I'm not of Romani descent, so it's not appropriate for me. So I kind of booted that word out of the definition, but actually over the last year I have been kind of in the process of a rebrand where now I'm just going by Zoe Greco. And it feels really good cuz I'm so grateful for all the things that like being the Merhipsy has allowed me to do. And like, she's kind of like my Sasha Fierce. Like she's like my alter ego that I like stood behind and she was the more like free-spirited, like spiritual aspect of myself. And I think, you know, I— my business kind of came up during like— but I would say between like 2014, you know, was that kind of that era where I started things. And it was really necessary in the spiritual space to like present yourself in a certain way. And I struggled with that so much. And the closest I could ever get was like being the Merhipsi. And she was absolutely a boho queen. Like, we loved her, loved being her. Like, she was an icon, a legend. Like, may she rest in peace. Um, but I'm just really excited to step into an era where I'm actually like going by my own name, identifying under my own energy, because I've really been doing a lot of deep inner work over the last couple years. And the thing that I've come to is that I didn't come here to be the Merhipsi, I came here to be Zoe. And there are things that only Zoe can do. And since I've actually like created space between myself and that sort of like pseudonym. I have had so many like revelations and breakthroughs and opportunities come to me because Zoe is a magnet for those things, not the Merhipsi. Like Zoe came here with assignments and big things to do and big jobs and things to explore and things to experience, and I had to sort of create some space between myself and, um, that sort of facade And also, like, I want to show up in my work really authentically and really vulnerably, and I don't want to, like, sit on a pedestal as a guru. I want to, like, grow in front of people and be an example of, you know, what doing the inner work looks like, what knowing yourself deeply looks like. Because our intuition isn't just the voice of our higher self, it's the voice of our inner self, it's the voice of our most authentic self. And how can I listen to her, and how can I hear her if I don't even identify as her? Like, I I had to really ask myself those questions. And so, um, I'm so grateful for all the things where Hippsy did and all the like. And, you know, she was the girl that was seeing 12 clients a day back to back to back in a tiny little office and putting crystals on people. And like, her dream was no bigger than having a tiny office. Like, she never dreamed of having a podcast that was heard worldwide or building a, you know, a six-figure business or doing, or, you know, writing books or publishing oracle decks or any of the things that I've done. Like those weren't her dreams. And she just like, she's the one that showed up and did the hard work and like believed in us from the beginning when we had $0 in our bank account and like no job and nothing going for us. Like she was the one that was like, okay, I guess I'll just like do whatever the universe tells me. And so I love her and I appreciate her so much. And I think like I got it from here. So it's been like a really beautiful and, and also grief, I've had sadness. I called both my parents and told them before anybody else, and we all cried together, like, because, like, they love her too. And, like, I could be emotional right now, but I went through, like, several therapy sessions where I, like, talked to her and said goodbye to her and, like, moved through this whole process. And I think because I honored my emotions in that process and, like, really showed up for myself and, like, really did that consciously— I, like, consciously uncoupled from, like, a part of myself myself, I'm just like in a really good space about it now. And I'm like, RIP Queen, like big things going on, like let's go. And so I'm, I'm excited for like what the future holds for Zoe and really grateful for what the past has, has held for the Merhibsy.
I think a lot of people can relate to that sentiment, whether it's just, you know, personal evolution and kind of saying goodbye. Like how we talk about like having a funeral for the old versions of yourself, like that happens so often in especially business, but in any like personal growth, spiritual development journey, it's like there's old versions of you where you look back and you're like, that's not me anymore. But like, man, I'm so grateful for her, I'm so proud of her. Like, thank you so much, all that you did for me. Like, look where we are now. And it is really beautiful to be able to get to, um, consciously kind of step forward from that and step into a new identity and choose something new. And I think anyone who's listening that's a business owner, I'm sure you've made certain pivots, or you've wanted to change your name or the way that you've branded yourself, or maybe even feel empowered listening to this to really take on the, you know, the personal brand, like your actual name. Because I think a lot of times when we're first starting out in business, there's a fear of like, if I'm just me, like, who gives a shit about me, you know? Like, if I'm just like my name, like, who cares about that? Like, I'm nobody, you know? But then there's this like beautiful kind of like reclamation that happens as you like grow and you get more confident and build, and you're just like, no, I like— I, yeah, I want to be known as me, and I want— I just want to be me. So I love that for you so much. I'm glad. I'm really glad I asked that question. Yeah. Okay, so, okay, this is something weird about me. I've never had déjà vu, so I, I don't— like, I understand when people explain to me what that might be like, but I've never experienced it, so I don't really know what what the sensation is. Um, and so I've had conversations with some of my other, like, spiritual friends, like, what do you think this means? Why have I never had déjà vu? Um, and I don't know, there's been like a couple other, like, interesting things that have happened for me throughout my life. When I was 12, I traveled with my mom and my grandma to this place called Lillydale. It's in New York. It's like a famous community of psychics and mediums.. And, um, I had a reading with a medium and she was like telling my mom like, your daughter's really psychic, like you should get her these books, like you should help her. Um, but I never really like did anything with it. And then I had a reading a couple years ago with this woman who connects to spirit guides. And after, you know, we finished the, the reading, she was telling me, she's like, I just have to tell you, like, you, like, I can see your channel. And it's really strong. And I've, I've only met one other person who has a channel like yours. It's really clear, it's really bright, it's really strong. And I was like, oh my God, what do I do with this information? Like, I love that for me, but like, what am I supposed to do?
And then I was at an—
yeah, and then I was at an event last week and, and two people separately were like, I'm, I'm getting alien energy from you. Like, do you believe in aliens? Like like, have you ever looked into this? Like, I don't know, I think— and I'm like, oh my God. And then I went on this pilgrimage to Egypt. It was really beautiful. It was like an 11-day, like, sacred pilgrimage through all of the sites. We were able to do private ceremonies and, and all of the, like, the, you know, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and we went to the Sphinx and into these temples. And we were so lucky and fortunate to be able to experience them just alone in this, in this really special group. And I had like some intense experiences there and kind of like paranormal-y stuff connecting with goddesses. So anyway, I'm just like, okay, what am I— what is one to make of all this information?
Absolutely.
And not that you're supposed to have all the answers, but I just thought it would be fun to get your perspective on, on what you think about this.
You know, I think your, your query about déjà vu is so interesting because is I think that déjà vu is something that people who are clairvoyant specifically, um, experience the most because they've kind of seen it in their mind's eye already, and then they just like catch up to the moment in reality where it's occurring, and they're like, oh, didn't I do this already? So, and I don't personally experience you as clairvoyant. I actually experience you as claircognizant and also potentially clairsentient, like a combination thereof. Of, which wouldn't surprise me because we're very resonant energetically. Like, we're— like I said, same person, different font. And those are also my primary gifts. And so just to kind of backtrack and explain that a little bit, clairvoyance is psychic sight. Clairsentience is psychic feeling. So it can be used interchangeably with like clairempathy, which is where you like, you know, feel other people's feelings or like feel things. Like you just have a sense of things, either like a physical sense, like you're very connected to your sacral authority, like like if you can feel it in your gut, like a gut sense. And claircognizance is like a knowing. You just know. You don't have a reason. You don't have to like be able to explain it to anybody. You don't even want to take the time to try and explain it to anybody. You're like, you're just slowing me down. I already know what I need to do. I'm gonna do it. And that typically doesn't come with déjà vu. So it actually doesn't surprise me that you've never experienced déjà vu because it's just like not on brand for you. It's not your thing. And, and so like, don't worry about it. It's not It's not for yours— not for you to worry about. Now, in terms of like the, the sense of you as like a channel and the connectivity, um, yeah. And I think this might even be a great time for us to kind of talk a little bit about your energy, if you're open to it, because I completely agree, uh, with what you've heard. You are a super strong channel. And so just to kind of give you a little bit of an understanding of what I'm about to say to you, I identify with emotions. Like, I'm a clairsentient, clair empathetic. And so like, I will feel your feelings, not just your emotions, but like your frequency, like the frequency of who you are as a person. And it shows up to me as colors, which I then like identify in your aura. And just for anyone listening, I don't necessarily like physically see it. Like, I'm not looking at you on camera and going, oh, I see red over here, and whatever. It's more like as I tap into your energy, it just appears in my consciousness. Like, I can just see it inside my own head. Um, and so I just want to say for anyone out there who's like, I can't see auras, because just because you can't see them with your physical eyes doesn't mean you can't see auras. There's no right or wrong way to perceive an aura. But when I read auras, I typically tap into two different layers of your sense of self, one being circumstantial— so like what's showing up in your energy that's showing us who you are in this moment— and what's showing up in your energy authentically that tells me more about like who you are, who you came here to be. Like, who is Samantha? Like like, I don't know if you want to go by Samantha, but I like to go by your full name when I'm doing a reading. And like, who is Samantha? Like, who was she here— like, who was she created to come here and be? And so there's a lot showing up in both levels of your energy. And your connection to sort of like galactic energy, um, doesn't surprise me at all. I think a lot of times when we come here with like determination, and especially those who come here to like use their voice, step into a position of leadership especially at like this very like delicate and particular time in humanity, um, it's because you've been given like an assignment where there's like— like the Earth isn't the most evolved planet in the entire universe. I think it's like— I think we would love to think that, but it's a little— it's giving like 12-year-old boy, like a little like, like, yeah, like kind of like cocky without like a lot of reason, you know what I mean? And so like, we're very like pubescent, like as a planet we're very pubescent, and we're about to go through puberty, like we're about to birth into the new Earth. And everyone's like feeling the tension. We're seeing it politically, we're seeing it like emotionally, we're seeing it economically, we're seeing it everywhere on the planet. We're seeing it, you know, environmentally. There's a huge shift that's happening for us, and there's no mistake that you are here during this particular time as a voice of authority for a reason. So I'm not surprised that you connect to sort of the more like galactic side of things, which is very often associated with, um, Egypt, which also is a place that from early, early childhood I've been obsessed with. I think it might be like a millennial thing. I feel like we were all just like, they pulled their brains out their noses? Like, what? Like, it just— there's something very like weird. There's like a fascination, like a perversion almost, that we're like, what is this place? Um, and I think it's like kind of pervasive throughout like our, our age group. Um, but I definitely can see that there's like a connection to that sort of like larger galactic kind of like there's a job. Like you're, you like, it's almost like if you were to think about like, uh, like an organization, um, where they're like, hey, here's your assignment, you're a secret agent, you're going down to the Earth to like help people understand things more clearly. And so when you're in sacred spaces or when like there's an invitation to reflect on that type of energy, you might feel a sort of like, I'm like, yeah, that's familiar. Like, yeah, like there's something here for me. Like, like there's something in me that resonates with that frequency. It's almost like if you were to hum, it would match the frequency of like that energy and that experience. So I am— no, that's a lot to say, but I would actually love to dive into your energy if you're feeling ready to receive a little bit.
Yeah, I'm loving this. Let's do it.
Cool. So, um, I'm obsessed with you. Uh, your energy is amazing, and I feel like, again, like so much resonance. What is your Human Design?
I'm a Manifesting Generator 5/1 with Sacral Authority.
Yeah, I'm a Generator 5/1 Sacral Authority.
So it's like, oh wow, okay, it makes sense.
Yes, exactly. That's why, because you mentioned your Sacral Authority before, and I was like, sister, me too. Yeah, so tuning into your energy, that actually the very, very, very first color that comes through is a very deep red, and it's like leaning into sort of almost like a burgundy, which shows me that there's a lot of blue and a lot of purple present in this energy as well, but it presents as red. So let me explain, let me backtrack. Red is the color of authority, it is the color of leadership, it's the color of manifestation, determination. Oh, you're touching your throat, not surprised. Um, there's definitely— it's the color of, of like authority and leadership. Like you're meant to be in the front of the group. Like, and I think the thing that's so beautiful about you is that you have really been able to strike this balance between being a leader and being a companion. And nobody wants to like follow a leader that's full of themselves, but you operate out of so much humility and gratitude. Like, you're grateful to be who you are, you're grateful for what you've created, but you also are like, and I created it. Like, I didn't do it alone, obviously the universe is behind me and like supporting me, but I listened to the nudges. I chose— I made these choices. Like, I executed these action steps, I implemented the guidance. Like, I did this. And that's really important because the example that you set for others is the medicine that you bring to the earth. Like, you are here to show people that they are capable of being empowered. And that's really the gift that you give, is demonstrating your empowerment and teaching other people how to discover that in themselves. Now, the blue that we see that's kind of in that burgundy, that is the throat. That's the expression. You are here. Like, there's no mistake that there is a microphone in front of your face right now. Like, there's no mistake that you're over a million downloads. There's no mistake that you are in this like space of spotlight because you are here almost like your whole head is a megaphone and you're just supposed to like project your message of authority and empowerment out into the world and it's meant to be heard. But circumstantially, we're also seeing a lot of blue in your field, which lets us know that like you're not done by a long shot. This is not your only podcast. This is not your only platform. This is not your only thing you're going to be doing. Being on stages, writing books, like forms of expression. You have so much to share. And the other thing that's going to be really interesting for you, I think, is like sooner than later you're going to be at a crossroads where you're, you're going to realize like there's two different types of people that you can serve, and you're gonna have to be really discerning about like where you want— like, fills my throat. I can like feel it in my chest as we're talking about it. You're gonna have to be really selective and discerning about where you want to place empowerment and like who you want to bestow with the gift of empowerment, because that person will then take that empowerment and use it as they please. So using your discernment to decide, like, do I trust this person to use this gift of power and authority with love, with compassion, with service, with gratitude, with humility, like with integrity? Do I trust that this person— because here's the thing is like you could be working with the biggest billionaires in the world, or you could be working with different people who want to become billionaires and want to use those resources differently than maybe like existing billionaires. So there's definitely like this crossroads that you're going to be coming to in the next couple years, and it's going to feel really natural and really easy. Like, the only reason spirit's even bringing it up right now is to sort of be like, hey, when you come to this moment, just remember we talked about it, and like we already made you aware of what's going to happen. But that megaphone is only going to keep getting louder. And the other thing that's going to be happening a lot, I feel, for you is like deep intimate collaboration, like really diving into collaboration in kind of a different way or a new way where you're using your gift of empowerment to like uplift the voices of other people as well, and being really selective about like whose voices you want to bring a megaphone to and like whose missions and whose like divine purpose you want to support in like uplifting um, being at the center and being on stage is natural for you, but there's going to be a time where for you it's like, I kind of want to take a step back and I don't really want to like be the one in front of the microphone. I want to like uplift others who I know also have something important to say. And you're never going to be able to get away from the spotlight, but you'll be able to take like bigger breaks from it where you're showing up doing these big amazing things that will like last people, you know, a couple months. Then you can go back to like your beautiful, peaceful, quiet existence. Like, you need a garden for sure, lots of travel, like intimate time with your partner. Like, like your, your relationships, your personal life is really, really, really important to you, and you've found a way to like maintain both things really beautifully to this point in your life. And there's going to be different ways that you balance those things in the future because they're both going to grow. And so it's like you're gonna have to find different ways to like manage those, those opposing forces. And I actually shouldn't call them opposing forces, they're complementary pieces of your, of your human journey, and you're choosing them both consciously. Your personal life, you're choosing with a lot of discernment and consciousness. Your professional life, you're choosing with a lot of discernment and consciousness. And that's where the purple in your field comes into play, that purple that's kind of creating that burgundy. You are a channel, and the things that you teach, the things that you say, you just know them. And you don't know how you know them. You don't know where they come from, and you, like, you know them innately, almost like you're reading from a book in your mind that you wrote in your past lives. So, like, the fact that you were drawn to, like, past life regression makes perfect sense to me. Like, the Akasha, like, the Akashic Records, like, definitely something that you have the ability to tap into on behalf of others, on behalf of yourself. But that ability to, like, keep that flow of energy You have a— like, you've mastered this thing almost like sort of by accident, and I mean that like lovingly. Like, it's— it just comes naturally to you that so many people fight their whole lives to sort of master, which is like, I'm just gonna let whatever comes through come through and like speak it honestly and truthfully and like with, with, uh, confidence and with self-belief and just believe that it's going to fall on the right ears, fall into the right hearts, fall into the right hands. And that is literally all you have to do. Like, all you have to do in this life is be yourself, and that's it. That is your assignment, and you're doing it so beautifully. But I think that's the thing, is spirit's sort of saying, like, in the next couple years, because your trajectory is so fast, like, your, your path is so— and you've seen it, like, you started your business and were like, whoa, this is bigger than I thought it was going to be. Like, this took off in ways I didn't expect. The same is true for the rest of your life. Like, your, your growth is just exponential. And so making really conscious choices about like how you balance the personal and the professional, how you create space for each of those things, how you find a marriage between the two, how you decide to be a leader, the things you decide to talk about. Um, and it— for you, you don't have to come out and be like, I'm spiritual. Like, you— what you say is spiritual. It's all like you're speaking from a place of spiritual truth. So you don't have to be like, I'm a spiritual authority. You're just an authority. You're an authority that speaks deep innate truth that resonates with the spirit of each person. Like, oh, there you go, Universe. Uh, yeah, like, you resonate with the spirit of each person, and that's what you're here to do, is resonate with spirits and help people discover a space of empowerment. And it— but it is like a gift that you hand out. I'm seeing that like really clearly. So your podcast and like the way that you show up on social media and like the way that you share like free information and resources. That's important because that's for everybody. But there's this next level where it's like, I see you and I know you have something really important to do. Here, take this thing that I'm really good at. Like, here, let me uplift you. So that could be like creating your own network, that could be a lot of different things. But like when I say that, it's like, yeah, like some— there's something on that level where it's like you're making choices about who to shine a spotlight on, like who to share that spotlight with, and how you can bless others with what you've created and what you've discovered in yourself. And also, like, one of the things I see for you a lot in the future is relaxation, like deep intimate time with people that you love, like making a lot of beautiful money so that you can be generous with that money and like uplift others, but also so that you can like take space and really just enjoy being Samantha, because like, that is who you came here to be. And she's amazing, and she's a powerhouse, and she's a boss, and she's a baddie. And also, like, she's soft, and she's loving, and she's tender, and she's emotional, and she's, like, really loving and caring. And all you want to do is, like, be with your people and eat good food and have a nice time. Like, that's what you're here to do. And so, like, creating space for that as well is actually, like, going to be coming to the forefront. For you, because all these other things are going to start to run a little bit more automatically. So I know that that's a lot of information, a lot to take in, and I just kind of talk, talk, talk. But how do you feel as you receive that? And like, how does that resonate for you? And do you have questions that I can answer?
Yeah, so much resonance. Like, so many things being affirmed that I've been feeling and experiencing lately. And I mean, I love the sounds of of the, you know, that future where you're like, you're never going to be able to get out of the spotlight, but you are going to like have these periods where you kind of like retract and like you're just with your people and your family and relax. And yeah, that's like such a vision for me of the future. And I think it's challenging in the space that we work in of seeing so many people that are doing business in different ways and they carry different energies. And even, you know, looking up to mentors and friends and people of wondering like like, okay, the way— is the way they do it the way that I'm supposed to do it? And I'm sure so many people listening can resonate with this. You know, we question ourselves a lot of like, oh, should I do it how she's doing it? Or like, she's non-stop, should I just be non-stop? And then that would, you know, make me more successful or more happy or whatever. Or, oh, she's like very like retracted and, and that really works for her. And, and, you know, even someone like our mutual friend Chelsea who who talks a lot about like selling without social media and, you know, doing things in a different way, like, oh, that's kind of interesting to me, that's kind of inspiring. But like, I've always felt like I'm very somewhere in the middle, like I have like one foot in like both of those spaces. And even just like you describing my personality of like being this like powerhouse and this boss and having a lot of ambition, you know, I'm a fire sign, so I really get that and I feel that. But also like I'm a Cancer moon and I'm like probably the softest, you know, hearted person ever. And like, I am very emotional, and I do love family, and motherhood is something that I really look forward to. And I can see that being something in the next couple of years that really changes the dynamic of, you know, my work and my pace and, and how that, you know, is all going to kind of fit together. So the description of that, you know, vision really, really resonated with me and brings me a lot of peace of like, okay, Yeah, like the direction that I'm sensing and feeling and the kind of like duality of like being able to hold both, like that can exist. Like it's just a big permission slip of like, that is possible. Like I don't have to choose to be this like all-in, non-stop Energizer Bunny version of myself or this really like retracted, like, you know, mama bear, like stay at home, just want to like nurture my kids kind of thing. So I love that and that feels really, really affirming to me. The red thing was also really interesting because if you only knew how many conversations I've been having lately about the color red. So that was wild that that's the first like main color. I just have this intuitive knowing that when I like— exactly when I do this like rebrand, I was just— I just, I don't know why, but I just knew randomly that red was the color.. And I got really curious about why, because I've never branded anything in red before in my life. And I'm like, am I just trying to be like other people, or where did this red come from? But it really just felt like a knowing. So to kind of hear that from your perspective too was amazing. And I even was like, I was so interested as to why I felt the red so strongly, so I started like looking things up. And then it was like dressing for your Venus sign, and I'm Venus in Scorpio, so I looked it up and it's a deep, like a burgundy, like red. So I was just— I don't know, as you were talking, I was just connecting all these thoughts, like, wow, okay, this is making so much sense. And I feel like one of my biggest challenges is that because, because the way that I speak and the knowledge that I transmit and the things that I guide people with are just known, it's like they come to me in the moment, which is kind of what that medium who reads spirit guides was telling me. She was like, you just just like you, your channel is very open. So when you're communicating with a client, oftentimes like the knowing will just come and you'll know exactly what to say, and you know how to guide them, and you know how to help them, and you don't know where or why. And it's something that's maybe hard to teach, but my biggest challenge is seeing myself as unique because I'm like, I don't like my life in general. And obviously growing up with like a lot of privilege and, you know, having a lot of fitting into a lot of the standard beauty ideals, and, you know, growing up in a middle-class white family in America and having a higher education and all these things, that always kind of like blocked me from being— from seeing myself as unique. I don't have this huge, like, you know, traumatic background story or like anything like that. So it was really hard for me to, to feel that what I'm doing is unique in any way. Um, and I think the uniqueness comes from that kind of like aspect of just knowing things. And the reason why I don't perceive it as unique is because I don't know why I know them. Like I haven't been recognizing that that is a gift or a talent. It's just like something that is mine. So I'm just like, oh, isn't like everybody like that?
I think too, if I may say, like, as someone also who grew up like upper middle class, white family, East Coast, went to boarding school, like all the things, I think also there's something to be said about choosing, because I believe we choose our path in this life. Of choosing a path that holds privilege so that you can use that privilege to change the lives of other people. Like, we're in a time where energetically and emotionally, like, people need to be leaning into one another, and like, we're leaning into the idea of oneness and supporting others. And so it's not to say that your story or upbringing doesn't make you unique. Like, that's not— maybe that's not the part of you that makes you unique, but but it's one of the things that you have, that you possess, that you are able to use to change the lives of other people. Like, you have this amazing platform that you've created, and so being conscious about who you choose to share it with and whose, whose voice you choose to amplify, like, on the other end of this microphone— like, there's something really, really, really powerful in that. And I think too, it's important to acknowledge for a moment, like, the opposition to our intuition is our ego. And our ego is the voice that says, you're not unique, you're not special, like, you— that was a fluke. Like, sure, you just knew that, but like, would you know next time? Could you next time? Like, that voice is there to keep you safe from what it perceives as threatening or difficult or scary or whatever. And that's what it thinks it's doing. It thinks it's keeping you safe. It's not actually trying to make you feel bad about yourself, believe it or not. Because my ego sure does. Every time I talk to it, I'm like, I'm, I'm feeling really terrible. I felt better before we chatted. And I think it's important to recognize that your ego is not your enemy. Your ego is the voice that is trying to communicate to you where you are holding wounds, or where you're unresolved, or where there is attention needed. And so if there's something that you're holding about not feeling unique or not feeling special, that's the medicine that you're here to bring, is like teaching other people how to discover their uniqueness and how to identify that they are special. When they struggle to do that as well. So just kind of paying attention to those messages, and rather than feeling like there's things you have to overcome, they're actually messages that need to be heard and acknowledged so that they cannot just be overcome, but so they can be alchemized into power, which is what you do. You, you're an empowerment— like, you're a source of empowerment for yourself and others. So learning how to alchemize ego or pain or discomfort or dysregulation or like a lack of, of confidence into empowerment is like what you're here to do. You're amazing.
Thank you so much. Yeah, that was really— actually, that little reading actually means a lot to me. That was really, that was really helpful, just really like affirming. So happy to be here.
