This podcast is designed to help you expand your mind and uplevel your life. So turn the volume up and roll the windows down if you're coming along for the ride. Let's go make shit happen. What's up, guys? Welcome back to the podcast. Today we are diving into part 2 of this series that we are currently in, all about building a top-tier life, mindset, and business. So today is part 2 where we're going to be talking all about the mindset piece. And this is one of my zones of genius. When I first started coaching, mindset was the space that I really went heavy into. I was obsessed with learning about the subconscious mind and helping my clients rewire their brains and cultivate belief systems that actually support the kind of life that they want to live and allow them to become more successful, happier, more fulfilled, wealthier. All of the things. So I love talking about mindset. And even nowadays in my work as a business mentor, it obviously plays a huge role in how we show up in business and being able to cultivate that next level of success, growth, happiness, fulfillment in our businesses as well. So it's still super relevant as a part of my work and also just kind of feels nostalgic because we're like going back to the good old days of just the mindset chats. So we're going to be talking all about mindset today. I'm going to share with you a couple of different things that I think are relevant if you are on that journey of building a top-tier mindset for yourself, of building, building a bulletproof mindset, whatever you want to call it. But the reason that— just to kind of give us a little pretense for why we're talking about this— the reason why mindset is so important is because I really believe that if you think that something is possible, you can create it in your life. And so there's not only the side of mindset, which is getting rid of the beliefs that don't serve us, eliminating the things that are holding us back, breaking through the blocks and the limiting beliefs. But there's also the piece of like adding in new beliefs and ideas so that we can have this frame for looking at the world that allows us to believe bigger things are possible, that allows us to actually see and achieve our full potential. So there's two sides to the coin. It's getting rid of the things that don't serve us. And then it's also adding in those things to our mindset that are really going to help us cultivate that sturdy foundation so that we can go after our big dreams and goals and actually believe that it's possible and therefore achieve them, right? So what we think about often, if you listen to the podcast, or if you've been here for a while, or you are someone who's a big fan of personal growth, you'll probably already be familiar with this concept. But the reason why mindset— another reason why mindset is so important is because what you think about often becomes solidified as a belief. So the thoughts that we have in our head over and over again, when we think about them for often— when we think about them for long enough, they become a belief. And what happens with a belief? A belief then becomes part of your personality, right? And then your personality is what informs your frequency. So your personality is really just how you act, think, and behave often, right? So anything that becomes this sort of routine thing, that is forming part of your personality. So of course, if you think a thought often enough, and then it becomes a belief, your beliefs are going to inform how you think and act often, aka your personality. And your personality is what really informs a lot of your frequency, the energy at which you are vibrating at. And of course, we know with Law of Attraction and energy work and the laws of the universe, that your frequency determines everything that you are either you're going to attract or repel in this lifetime, the things that you are an energetic match for, or the things that you're not an energetic match for, right? And so that's why we can trace this all the way back just to a simple thought and understand how one thought can be so powerful if you choose to put it on repetition and build it into part of your belief system and your personality and your frequency and what you can attract. And it's also powerful to do the opposite, right? To remove things, to remove thoughts, from our mind that have already become beliefs and form part of our personality, but to start to like retract them and like suck them out of our subconscious programming. So both the inputting and the outputting or taking things out is really important when it comes to mindset. But I think something that's so interesting about what I've just said here is the piece about personality and understanding that your personality is not permanent. I think a lot of times we think, you know, we are who we are in a sense, or our personality is fixed. Like we kind of— maybe you believe it's a, it's a combination of nature and nurture. It's a combination of, you know, your surroundings when you grew up. And maybe you believe it's a combination of your astrology or your Human Design or your Gene Keys or whatever it is that you think makes up your personality. But really, when we when it comes to a psychological level, what they've studied in psychology shows that personality is not permanent. And I did an episode like years ago talking about this exact principle from Dr. Ben Hardy, and I believe he even has a book around this concept of— it might actually even be called like Personality Isn't Permanent, something along those lines. You can Google it if you're interested, but it's a super interesting concept of really just understanding that our personality is malleable, it is flexible, it can be changed. And the way that we start to change our personality is by changing our thoughts and beliefs, aka our mindsets. And as we just talked about, if you are able to change your thoughts and beliefs and your mindset to affect your personality and start to mold your personality into a new version of yourself that you would rather be, that is also going to inform your frequency and the things that you attract and repel in this life. So So it's super interesting. And if you're here, I trust that you are already deeply involved in the work of rewiring your mind. But I thought it would be fun to share with you guys some of the spiritual beliefs that have really changed my life. And some of these beliefs or thoughts, affirmations, whatever you want to call them, that you can start inputting into your mindset to begin making some serious changes. So I'm going to share with you some of these spiritual beliefs that really, really changed my life. And I used them in a, in the form of affirmations, but I also just started to say them to myself over and over again on repeat. I would find ways to insert them into my thought processes on a day-to-day basis. And eventually they did become an, a true ingrained belief in my mind, because I didn't have to work anymore to believe that it was true. I didn't have to work anymore to remind myself these things. They just felt like a knowing. They felt like a 100% solid truth of my life. And so the first one is one of my all-time favorites. And it's super common, but it literally was so valuable to me. So I have to share it with you. It's just the simple belief that everything is always working out for me. And in the beginning, I did struggle to believe that that was true. Because of course, you can find evidence for how things are maybe going wrong, or how something bad happened, like life is happening all the time. And it's not always perfect. And so I think there's a distinction here with the belief of everything is always working out for me, not meaning the same as everything is always perfect or nothing bad ever happens, right? Those two things are not the same. And so if you think that everything is working out for me means I never have problems and nothing bad ever happens, then of course you're going to struggle to input that belief into your subconscious mind because there's that resistance of like, well, I don't really feel like that's totally true. And so first, what I had to do with this belief was understand that everything working out for me doesn't mean that everything's always perfect. It doesn't mean that there's never a challenge, doesn't mean that bad things don't happen. It doesn't mean that I'm never in a bad mood, or that I'm never sad, or that something never pisses me off, right? It simply means that even when hard things are happening, I know that they're of service to my growth. I know that they're of service to me understanding a deeper part of myself. I know that they're of service to my higher good, right? Even if something bad happens, perhaps it's meant to take someone out of my life or of my circle who wasn't really meant to be there, who wasn't fully supportive of me. Even if bad things happen, maybe they're meant to teach me important things about my character or meant to mold me and shape me and help me grow or become stronger in some way so that I can face future challenges with more ease and more success. Right? So everything always working out for you doesn't mean that it's always going to be perfect. And this belief really, really was, I think, one of the main ones that started to shift my entire view of the world and really connect me to like a deeper understanding of what we're all doing here and what the purpose of life is. And it really just allowed me to look at even the challenging or hard things and still feel held and supported and seen and like there was a purpose. That's the best word to describe what this belief gave me. It gave me a sense of purpose because when you feel like things are happening for no reason or that the things that are happening to you, for you, around you are nonsensical, it gives you this sense of like having no control, having no agency over your life. And from a psychology perspective, we know that this idea of feeling out of control or like you have no agency over a situation is really detrimental and it can make make situations a lot worse. In fact, they've even shown, like, in work-life scenarios where people work for companies or industries where they feel like they have really high expectations and they have low levels of control or low levels of agency, meaning no matter what they do, because of lots of other factors, they cannot affect change, they cannot meet the high expectations because there's way too many variables out of their control. That is actually what creates burnout. So having a sense of agency, a purpose of some sort of like control in our lives is really important. And of course, we can't control everything. But if you believe that everything is always working out for you, you almost feel like— okay, so I have something I think you're really going to love and your business is going to love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales, but if your Instagram stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on stories isn't about how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing. And the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look-at-me content and calling it authority, sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story selling sequence designed to drive demand and convert sales. We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more. You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is gonna give you 5 high-converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides from authority building all the way to offer flow in less than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy. You already know your offer's incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is. Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next story your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside. You don't need to try to manipulate or control everything because it's already being controlled in your favor. I think that's the key, right? Like, the universe is conspiring in my favor to make things happen for me, even though they might be hard, even though they might be challenging, even though they might suck in the moment. It's serving me for the future. It's molding me, it's shaping me, it's helping me learn, it's helping me grow, it's helping remove people, situations, things from my life that aren't meant to be here. It's, it's helping me become more awake. It's opening my eyes to certain things. It's letting me see things that I was once blind to, right? Maybe you're moving through challenges with relationships or seeing someone's true colors. And it's a, it's a total like blindside moment for you. And you're like, oh my gosh, this is a horrible— like, I'm blaming myself. How did I not see this? But trusting that everything is working out for you by allowing you to open your eyes and see the truth of those situations. So that you can make change, right? So that you can move forward, so that you can take back your power, so that you can surround yourself with the type of people that deserve to be in your space and your energy. So everything is always working out for me is one of those beliefs that like really, really started to shift things for me. And eventually I didn't have to try to believe this. It truly was just like a belief in my mind, like no questions asked. I just know everything is always working out for me. Okay, another one that I love is when I listen to my intuition, I get closer to everything I desire. So there was definitely a time in my life when I was younger where I didn't really have the language to understand intuition. I wasn't really connected to my intuition, or maybe I was, but it was like totally on an unconscious level. I definitely had like gut feelings or gut instincts, right? But I didn't have this relationship with my intuition where I felt like it was this superpower that I really could lean into and, and fully trust and know that I was always going to be led in the right direction if I trusted my intuition. And so by repeating this to myself over and over again, and really leaning into it and working on strengthening that relationship with my intuition, I did get closer to everything that I desired. And I did start to create my dream life. And I did wake up in a version of my life where I was like, oh my God, this is like my vision board, right? I live on the beach, I have this amazing condo, I built this business, my clients are incredible. I'm doing work that feels purposeful, my relationship is flourishing. Like everything is how I wanted it to be. Everything is how I envisioned it to be. And a lot of that does come from being able to follow those intuitive pings. So if you can input this belief into your mind with enough repetition that you actually start to believe it to be true, in tandem with actually doing the work to understand your intuition and connect to it and listen to it, most importantly, I believe that you really could change so much in your life. So the affirmation or the belief is, when I listen to my intuition, I get closer to everything that I desire. If you can repeat this over and over to yourself and truly believe that that is happening for you, and also do the work of tapping into your intuition and following those pings, you're going to be able to create so much more than what you could if you were stuck in this, like, overthinking space of not trusting yourself and not being able to take the action and believing that your mind is lying to you or playing tricks on you, or, oh, you know, like, I can't actually do that. When you give in to the ego, you really outsource your power. And basically what I want you to do here is to take your power back by remembering that you already have everything that you need inside of you to create the life that you desire. So if you're someone who struggles with this distinction between intuition versus ego, there's a whole episode on the podcast that you can find. I can't remember the exact title name, but if you search like intuition or intuition versus ego, I think is in the title, it should populate for you. There's a whole episode on that. But really what I always like to remind my clients of is that intuition always comes first and ego comes second, and they come very, very close together. So if you're thinking about doing something, taking a leap, making a decision, the intuitive feeling is going to arrive first in your body. It's going to be the thing that you feel drawn towards energetically. It's like a feeling in your stomach, right? I think people are waiting for the intuition to be this like monumental, like crazy loud voice that comes down and it's like God in your mind being like, yes, this is the right decision. And if you're waiting for your intuition to be like that or sound like that or feel like that. That's why you're getting so confused. It is so subtle, and it usually doesn't actually sound like your inner voice. It's just a feeling. It's like the knowing that makes no sense, that you can't describe, right? Ego is what comes in and actually sounds like the voice in your head because it's using logic and it's using argumentative thinking to try and steer you towards the safer option, right? So ego is there to protect you, and it's trying to drive you towards what is most safe, what is most familiar, and what is most comfortable. But the intuition has no reason to make any sense, because intuition is your divine magic that lives inside of you. It doesn't need to make sense, because a lot of times what intuition has to guide you towards are the things that go outside of the bounds of comfort, that go outside of the bounds of familiarity. Right? And so it's going to feel scary, it's going to feel risky, it's going to feel edgy, it's going to feel like, oh, like, I don't know, could that be true? Could that be right? Because there's no logic to back it up. And that's when the ego swoops in and goes, oh no, maybe you should think about this, and you've tried that before and it didn't work, and who knows if that's going to be the right path, and what if you do that and this happens, or what if it doesn't work out, and you know, it could lead to X, Y, and Z, and let's hang on, let's think about this for a second, is this really a smart decision, do you really want to be doing this? That is the voice of the ego, right? And that's going to sound a lot like the voice in your head because it's using argumentative thinking and logic to try to protect you. The intuition doesn't really have a voice per se. The intuition arrives in a feeling and it arrives first, and then a few milliseconds afterwards, the egoic thoughts begin. So use this affirmation or this belief if, if you'd like to, while you're on that journey of kind of making the distinction between intuition and ego and following your intuition more often. If you want to strengthen your relationship with intuition, the best thing that you could do is actually listen to it and follow the feelings, right? So if you get an intuitive feeling that something is right or something is wrong, or that you should do something that you shouldn't do something, the best way to strengthen your intuition is to actually go forth and do the thing that the intuition provided you the guidance around. When you ignore the intuition, when you say, oh, you know, I had this intuitive feeling that I should do this, but it feels a little bit risky. So I'm going to go with the safer option. Because my ego is trying to tell me that that will keep me safe. When you choose to go against intuition, you disrupt that relationship, not actually strengthening it, right? It's like if a friend asks you for advice all the time and then they never follow the advice, eventually you're like, what the fuck? Stop asking me for advice, right? Your advice doesn't get stronger and better and more empowered. It gets weaker and more timid because you know that the person on the other end isn't really going to listen anyways, right? So that's why we want to actually listen to our intuition. Okay, so another belief that really helped change my life is, if it's important to me, it's important to the universe. Another version of this, or another way of saying this, which is something that I've also used, is the universe is conspiring to bring me everything I desire. So I first heard about this, I think it was from Mike Todd, who is a Christian pastor, and he was is speaking about this idea of like, if it's important to you, it's important to Jesus. And so if you are a Christian, you resonate with that, you could always input that language. And then for anyone else who, you know, resonates more with something else, you could say, if it's important to me, it's important to God. If it's important to me, it's important to Source. If it's important to me, it's important to the universe, whatever you want. But by believing that there's some larger force in our lives that is conspiring to bring us everything that we desire, and that does feel like our desires are important, and the things that are important to us are also important to them, and that they want those beautiful, expansive, abundant things for us as well, is really gonna help you go after achieving those things, because it creates this sensation of support. And if you believe that you are supported, and if you believe that God or the universe also has this agenda to provide all of the things that you desire, then it feels like you don't— you're not going at it alone. And you don't have to pursue your dreams or goals or take the scary action or make the risks of the investments on your own. But you have this force field of energetic support. Because of course, if it's important to me, it's important to the universe. If it's a desire on my heart, it's not by accident, right? These things are here on purpose. They are the bread breadcrumbs, right? I always say that your desires are the breadcrumbs. They are the things that are guiding you towards your highest purpose, to your best life, to the version of you that your higher self knows that you have the potential to become. The desires are the breadcrumbs. And so if you are desiring something, then of course that desire is of the utmost importance to the universe, universe, source, and God, because that what is going to help you forge that path to become your absolute best self and live the life that you know that you desire and deserve. So changing my mindset has also played a huge role in my journey of going from broke to abundant and building a business and cultivating higher levels of freedom in my life. And so I'm going to share with you some of the money mindset beliefs that really shifted things for me. At different stages of my journey. So you can take what resonates, leave what doesn't. As you know, with anything that I ever share, take what resonates and leave what doesn't. But I want to get into some of the money-specific beliefs that really shifted things for me, because we can't do an episode about building a top-tier mindset and not talk about money and abundance, because that was a huge part of my journey. Just like full transparency, I, you know, started out living in Spain. That's where I kind of had my first spiritual awakening and went deep into personal development work. But at the time, I was really broke because I had spent most of my savings on getting to Spain, you know, visa, flights, all the things. And then I was working this teaching job in Spain that was super low wage. And it was, you know, 50% of what I earned in a month went to my rent. And then I also had other bills and expenses and transport. And, you know, going out to eat maybe once in a while, going on a date with my boyfriend. And so by the end of that, I really didn't have much money left over. Sometimes I would get to the end of the month and like literally be like, oh my God, I don't even have enough money to pay for my Metro Pass. And I would be waiting and waiting and checking my phone every single day to see when I would get paid. It was really like that tight. So I really went from like being super tight on bills to creating a, you know, business that's almost at the 7-figure level now, and has provided me so much more abundance and freedom. It's provided me the ability to buy my dream beach condo and just travel and provide for my family and do so many things that I didn't even dream were possible just a few years ago when I was starting out as a teacher in Spain. And so I read so many of these books on personal development, money mindset, and spirituality. And I started to really fortify my own relationship with myself and my mindset and my beliefs, especially around money and my potential and success and all of those things. And that's kind of when I got this dream opportunity to work for a meditation company. So I was already teaching and I was also already running a network marketing business. So I was, you know, starting to do social selling on Instagram and I was doing some network marketing.. And so I had 2 jobs already. And then in addition to that, I was, you know, taking buses and trains around the city to do private English classes for some cash. I would literally get on like a bus, walk, train, like did many different modes of transport to arrive to people's homes. I would spend like an hour traveling for to teach like an hour-long class or to help someone with their homework and do like an hour-long tutoring session essentially for $20. And so I was really, really in my hustling era, but then I got this dream opportunity to work for a meditation company. And basically, I was going to be doing work kind of as like a virtual assistant and also helping them with retreat planning and running these retreats in different locations around the world like Greece and Bali. And so I was like, holy shit, like, this is a dream opportunity. And at the start, it was unpaid, it was an unpaid internship. But I felt this, I felt this, this draw, this like magnetism towards saying yes, I felt an intuitive knowing that like, this is something I should say yes to, even though I I have so much on my plate already. And it doesn't really make sense because I'm not going to be making any money from it, which is what I need right now. Like, I'm trying to just get my head above water. But I felt the intuitive pull of like, you, you should say yes to this because this is an incredible opportunity. And so I started working for this company and helping them plan retreats. And I was able to travel to Greece and Bali and meet all kinds of incredible people and learn the ins and outs of this whole new style and way of doing business online and building a following and cultivating these, these spaces to build community and, and sisterhood. And it was so expansive to my mind, and I just fell in love with it. And that is honestly one of the huge catalysts to my whole journey of, you know, doing what I do now and building my own business. And so to go back to our point earlier about the spiritual beliefs that changed my life, like, if I hadn't learned how important it was to listen to those intuitive pings, I may have said no to that job because it didn't make sense. Sense, because it was unpaid, right? Because I already had 2, 3 jobs at the time, right? But that really ended up changing my life. So that's a really good example of how that belief helped me follow something and take a risk and take a chance on something that ultimately really shifted the trajectory of my whole life and, and journey as a business owner. But to go back to this kind of story, I worked for this company for a while, and then I think it was almost, almost a year, and then I ended up getting fired really unexpectedly from job. And I have a whole podcast episode on that. It's like, it's called The One Where I Got Fired. If you're interested in that story, I tell that story in that episode. But my mindset is what really saved me at that time, because I had been spending so much time working on myself and my inner relationship and these beliefs and understanding that everything is always working out for me, right? As I said, like, the universe has my back, and I was doing a lot of work in building a deeper relationship with my own spirituality. And if I hadn't done that, I think that I would have handled getting fired from that job in a much different way. But I do have to say that when I got fired from that job, there were moments where my ego wanted to question, you know, is this thing that you've been buying into, are these beliefs, beliefs, you know, this, this spiritual idea of like everything is always working out for me and the universe has your back. Like, is that really real? Or was that just a bunch of bullshit that you subscribe to? Because I believed that the universe had my back so much when I got that job, because I started unpaid and then I worked for them for a while unpaid. And then my teaching job that I was in at the time started to just weigh really heavy on me and was becoming so incredibly toxic. And I was super burnt out. And I woke up every day with that gray cloud over my head of like, how am I going to get through this day and just really dragging myself through life because I hated showing up to work so much. So much so to the point that I decided like, I have to leave this job. It was like an awakening moment, I have to quit. And so I did, I quit that teaching job with no plan B, I was still an unpaid intern. But I just believed and hoped and desired that the universe would swoop in and would guide and it would support me and it would really come and help me in my time of need as long as I was in— I was following my intuitive knowing, right? So my intuition was screaming, you've got to leave this teaching job, you've got to leave this teaching job. And so I did. And I had no backup plan, but I hoped that something would come of it, right? I was doing network marketing but wasn't making enough money to pay my bills per month. And I had this unpaid internship which was teaching me a lot and it was great and it felt purposeful, but there was no money, right? But I believed that something would happen that would really help me get by.. And that did end up happening because my unpaid internship turned into a paid position with this meditation company. And so I was like, oh my God, this is like my sign. The universe really does have my back. Like, holy shit, all of this is so real. It's so true. Like, I believed it so much because of how supported I felt in that experience. So you can imagine then when several months later I get unexpectedly fired from that exact job that I felt, you know, the universe really swept in to like save me with and offer me a paid position. That's when the ego was like, okay, but if everything was working out for you, and the universe really had your back, then why would it tell you to leave your teaching job that was a steady paycheck and go after, you know, go out into the unknown and get this job with this company and then take it all away from you? Like, how could that possibly be serving you, right? And so there were moments where I questioned that, but I stayed strong in my beliefs because I had spent so much time taking them from not just a thought or an affirmation, but to a true belief where I was now questioning not just, you know, a fun little thought or quote or meme that I saw on the internet, but an actual belief that I had ingrained into my mind. And so I was able to look at it it and have that perspective of like questioning it, but then also being rooted in wanting to continue on that path and maintain those beliefs because I knew that they were serving me, right? There's no version of my life where it would be of service to me to believe that, you know, things are just happening to me and I'm a victim of life and none of this makes sense and none of it has purpose and there's no divine path. I'm going nowhere, and it's all just whatever, and none of it makes sense, and I have no control. There's no version of my life where it would serve me to believe those things. So even though I had a moment of questioning, I chose to stay firm in those beliefs that I'd spent so much time cultivating and go, you know what, I'm gonna look for the lessons in this. I'm gonna look for what this is here to teach me, how it's serving me, how it's helping me grow, where it's trying to point me. What, what are you trying to tell me, God? What are you trying to tell me, Universe? What am I I supposed to do with this, right? I'm fired. I'm unemployed. I already quit my, my other paying job. So now I have nothing. I'm in a foreign country where, you know, my ability to get a job and the types of work that I can do is super limited. Like, okay, but I'm here. I'm open for the lessons. What is this meant to teach me? And I just stayed really open during that time. And that is, of course, what led me to the feeling of like, well, maybe I should try and do something on my own and maybe I, maybe I have value to provide. And I started my Monday Motivation newsletter and I started sending that out every Monday. It was just an email of like, you know, empowering, inspiring content that still exists today. Like what, 4 or 5 years later? I don't know. I think that was in 2018 that I started it. Hey, don't forget that every month we are picking a Listener of the Month to win $50 in cash just for showing love to the show. All you have to do is leave an epic review of the podcast on Apple Podcasts, screenshot the review before you hit submit, and DM that screenshot to us on Instagram @makeshifthappenpodcast. And that newsletter turned into more blogging and more posting on Instagram and eventually became an ebook and a coaching program. And then, you know, the business and the podcast and everything that I do today really was sparked from that moment of the unknown. And not just sitting in the unknown and feeling like a victim, but actually sitting in the unknown and choosing to believe that things were working out for me, that even if I couldn't see it, even if I had no context, even if I had no idea why, I just knew and trusted and believed that things were working out for me. So that is just like, I think illustrates really well those first 3 beliefs that we covered. But now I want to get into the money mindset stuff because like I said, I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't have been able to create an almost 7-figure business and do all the things that I'm doing now if I hadn't really fortified my money mindset. So we cannot skip over the money mindset portion. In an episode that's all about building a top-tier mindset. So I've picked 3 of my favorite money mindset beliefs and I've kind of separated them out into different phases of my life or my business journey and when they were really useful to me. So I'll kind of like weave that in as I share them. But the first one is like the OG, the most basic. It's one of my favorite money mindset beliefs, affirmations, whatever you want to call it. I used it. It for so often, and it really changed the game for me. And I even still use it today. It's just like a staple. I freaking love it. If you're not already saying this every time you buy something or spend money, you should absolutely start now. So this belief is: every dollar I spend comes back to me multiplied. Every dollar I spend comes back to me multiplied. Another way to think about this is that every time you go to the store and you— let's say, I, I find this one really useful for when you're paying for things that you maybe don't really want to be paying for, or that aren't the most fun things to spend money on. Like, let's say you're paying bills, or you have to go get gas for your car, or you're buying groceries, or some of those things that are like the basic necessities and like staples of our life., but they're not necessarily fun purchases, right? You're not like, oh my God, I just ordered something super cute from Amazon. Like, you spend money all the time on things that you're really excited about, and so you're in a different energy. But when you spend money on the things that you need or that are kind of like the basics, sometimes we have a different energy when we're spending money. So the way that I like to think about this affirmation or belief, or, or how I see it as being useful, is that helps to really frame the times that you are spending money on things that you're not excited about to actually be an exciting experience. Because if you were to think about all the money that you spend on your mortgage or your bills or gas or food or whatever it is, that's not usually like a fun, exciting experience. But you were to think about all of those dollars actually going out into the universe, getting multiplied by 2, 4, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, whatever it is, and then coming back to you in some way in the near future. 'Now that feels exciting,' right? So it kind of changes the energy in which we spend money, which is really important. I think that's one of the biggest things that I learned in my money mindset journey was that a lot of the times I was spending money from a place of lack. I was spending money in an energy of fear, of anxiety, of anger or frustration even.. And so if you can shift your own personal energy when you're about to spend, you're sending money out into the universe with a much better energy, and you're becoming more of an energetic match to receive things back, right? When we're in those low vibrational frequencies of like fear, shame, guilt, anger, right? We're not actually a match for the high vibrational experiences and abundance that we want to attract in our life. So we've gotta change the frequency at which we operate when we are spending, saving, exchanging money in any way, shape, or form. And I think this is a really great affirmation or belief to start doing exactly that. And so this was an affirmation that I used really at like the start of my journey when I was just beginning to build the foundations of my career, I guess you could say, in this sort of like industry. I was learning a lot about mindset work and reading all the money books. And it was one of my favorite affirmations that I came across. And I had it taped to my bathroom mirror for a really, really long time so that every day when I would go into the bathroom and brush my teeth or wash my face or wash my hands or do anything standing in front of the mirror, I would see this money affirmation and I would just repeat it silently to myself. I actually had probably like 8 to 10 affirmations that were all about money taped to my bathroom mirror at one point. I think I— it was after I had read the book like You Are a Badass at Making Money. And I started to kind of like gather my favorite affirmations and beliefs and mindsets around money. And I just picked 8 to 10 of them. I wrote them on like a sheet of paper, little colorful strips of paper, and I taped them all to the bathroom mirror. And they lived there for a really long time. Our cleaning lady would come over and she would, like, clean around the taped pieces of paper on the mirror. And it always felt like a little cringy, like, I wonder what she thinks about that. But they were there for a while. And lots of people who came over to our house, we only had one bathroom, so they would go in and they would see plastered on the mirror all my beliefs about money. But I got over it quickly because it started to work and I just didn't really give a shit because it was working in my life. Essentially, there was another one that I remember that I had on my mirror that was also really, also really useful to me at this time in my journey. And it was, thank you, money, for all you allow me to be, do, and have. And this one is a little different, because it's really focused on building the gratitude that we feel for money, and kind of establishing this energy of thankfulness and gratitude for what we already have, so that we can become a match to attract more. More, right? So every dollar I spend comes back to me multiplied. It's kind of focused on that visualization of like, yes, money is flowing to me, more money is on its way to me right now. There's lots of other ways to say it, and I use some of those affirmations as well. But this one is really more focused on like, with our present circumstances and everything that we already have and that we're able to do and be in the world, how can we be grateful for the ways in which money supports us in that. And that really shifted my mindset too, because I think if you are wanting to attract more money or abundance into your life, you're naturally focused on the lack, which we of course want to get out of. So it's this conundrum of like, if you want more money, it means that you're not grateful for what you have, or you're in a space of lack, and that's not a match to attract more. And so it's this whole kind of like catch-22. But that's why I think this one is really, really helpful, because you get to focus on the gratitude for what money already does for you, because we so often overlook that. We're just thinking about the future, we're just thinking about what's next, we're thinking about more, more, more— how can I get more, be more, do more, have more? And if we actually think about like, whoa, what are all the things around me right now in my current existence, in my current life, that money affords me? We can start to build a deeper sense of gratitude around all that money already does for us instead of just thinking about the ways in which not having enough money fails us, or the reasons why, you know, we can't do and have all of the experiences or things that we desire because there's not enough money. So it's bringing it back to looking at, hey, like, what is money already doing for you, right? What is money already affording you? What are the things that you're able to do, have, be, provide, give, share already because of the role that money plays in your life? And building sense of gratitude. So that's number 1. I kind of threw 2 in there because I liked both of them and I think they're valuable for 2 different reasons. But let's move on to the second one, which is, I make money in unexpected ways all the time, even when I'm not selling. So this one is obviously more focused towards like entrepreneurs, but again, you could just take off that last part that's like when I'm not selling and just use the affirmation as is. I make money in unexpected ways all the time, right? So the reason why I really like this one is because this really helped me when I was kind of in this intermediate phase of my business of really starting to like scale. Um, probably like I had hit 6 figures and I was ready to like scale beyond that into like the mid-6-figure level. And instead of just always exchanging dollars for hours and really viewing like my time as the only thing that was valuable, I started to adopt like wider scope of how I could see money supporting me. And so I started using this, this affirmation in my income tracking spreadsheet. So I have an income tracking spreadsheet that I use every single month, and I make my goals, my money goals for the month. And then underneath that, I'll always put some affirmations that I'm choosing to work with that month that I feel like support my goals and my energy and where I'm at and what I'm wanting to cultivate. Create, feel, or attract. And so I started using this one like over and over again. I would put it there for like months on end because I just really loved it. So I would use like one affirmation that really supported whatever I was actively launching or selling or what the big sort of income goal was for the business that month. But then I would also have this secondary affirmation of, I make money in unexpected ways all the time, even when I'm not selling, because I wanted to really start to believe that my energy was not the only predictor, or my effort and my presence and my time were not the only predictors behind how much money I could make. And it's funny because after a little while of using this affirmation, I truly did start to see a lot of those, you know, passive opportunities that I have available for people to invest and, you know, join courses or programs that don't require me to be involved in them. I saw those sales starting to increase. Increase. Whereas before, I really felt like, you know, if I have a course that's out there and it's available, but I'm not really talking about it or actively promoting it, or I'm not doing live calls inside of that program anymore, I kind of felt like those sales were dead and nobody in my audience was buying those things, even though they were so highly valuable and they had so much juicy information inside of them that could change someone's life or mindset in a really powerful way. But I felt like, you know, there's not enough time in the day for me to actively be promoting all the time, all of the things that I have for sale on my website or, you know, all the opportunities that you have to kind of like plug into my world in some way. So I really wanted to believe that I could make money through those sources without having to pour more time and energy and effort into them in terms of like promoting it on my socials all the time or adding live calls to it or whatever the case may be. So I originally, you know, I experienced the truth of that belief of like, you know, things don't sell unless I'm actively selling them, or people don't buy something unless there's live calls with it. And I really, you know, saw that to be true because it was the belief that I was working with. But I started to shift that belief and adopt this one in which I make money all the time in unexpected ways, even when I'm not selling. And what ended up happening was more people started purchasing those passive offers, right? There's a, a passive offer that you can jump into at any time that'll teach you how to launch and grow a successful podcast that's on my website or at the link in my Instagram bio. There is a passive course called Cosmic Cash that's all about going deep into your money mindset and the stories and also bringing in the astrology piece of it and looking at your chart and what your prosperity placements are. And it's a very, very cool transformative experience when it comes to your relationship relationship and your mindset with money. And those things don't require my time or my energy anymore because I've already built them, I've already created them. They have the emails, they have the funnels, they have the content, like it's all there. And more and more people started to purchase things like that from me when I started working with this affirmation. And there's obviously other factors that were involved, just, you know, me growing my social media or, you know, having more people on my email list or more people that were listening to the podcast, like more people that just knew about me in general. So there were more eyes wanting to explore my website or wanting to explore the links that are available in my bio on Instagram. And so yes, there was a, a part of it that was kind of like went along with the natural progression of like growth of business. But it was so undeniable that when I started to implant this belief and really work on it, that I started making a lot more passive sales. In my business. So I know that that played a huge role in developing more of like the passive income. This can also work for people in terms of just receiving unexpected money in other ways, like refunds for things. I got a check, I got it like an unexpected check in the mail from my insurance company. They needed to refund me like $900 or something. I think it was, that was totally like unexpected, right? And so I love being able to believe that I'm going to make money in unexpected ways all the time, even when I'm not actively searching for it or pushing for it or selling for it. So that's why I really love that one. The third one is abundance is here to stay. And this one is really kind of coming from the energy of like feminine embodiment when it comes to wealth. And this affirmation was inspired last year in 2022 when I was creating a brand new program all about wealth embodiment. Which is called Wealth Calibration. And I love this program so much. We go so deep and it's really like a totally different approach to money than anything I had ever done prior to this program. And so it's a very cool program. You can look into it on my website if you're interested. It will be available again at some point this year. So stay tuned for that. But anyways, this affirmation came out of the Creative Portal for Wealth Calibration, because I was really getting into the feminine embodiment when it comes to wealth and practicing surrendering and trusting more deeply in my abilities and in what I've created and built for myself. So, you know, I'm moving along in business, progressing, I'm getting to this high six-figure level. And I could sense that I was starting to feel like, you know, this is— this— everything is really working for me. This is so good. Like, my clients are amazing. People are getting great results. I, I keep having these creative ideas. The podcast is growing. Instagram is growing. My community is really engaged. I feel super alive and on purpose. I'm making more and more money all the time. Like, in 2022, in just quarter one, I think we like doubled what we had did in the whole, like, first year of my business or something like that. There was some crazy, like, exponential growth thing that was happening right around the time that I got inspired to create Wealth Calibration. And so it was really exciting. But then it also created this fear of like, is this too good to be true? Right? And like, this is so good right now. Surely, like, I'm— it's bound to, like, end, or, you know, I'm bound to run into, like, some sort of major struggle or downfall, or someone's going to cancel me, or, you know, like, no one's going to care about I'm doing anymore suddenly, or I'm not going to sell anything, or I'm going to have a launch that, like, super flops and kind of just waiting for this, like, inevitable sort of downfall of thinking that it's too good to be true. Like, everything is working out for me in such a way that it almost feels like maybe this isn't realistic for people to have this good of an experience in business. So surely there must be something coming down the track that's going to, you know, be really challenging or cause me to suffer or throw me off in some way. What if this doesn't last, right? What if this is just a phase? What if like I wake up tomorrow and nobody gives a fuck anymore, right? And I've talked to some of my private business clients who are growing and scaling their businesses who have also felt this fear creeping in of like, is this going to end? Like, is this too good to be true? Is this just a phase? And so that's why I felt like it was really relevant to speak to this because originally I thought this was just my own mind, you know, trying to get in the way, my own ego trying to fuck with me and keep me small and make me stay safe. But I realize that it's a common fear that does come up for people when things are going really well. And maybe you experience this in different areas of your life, not just business or wealth or money, but maybe things are going really well in your relationship and you're like, oh my God, this is like literally so good. We like never argue, have amazing sex. We have such a good connection. Like, we love each other so much. There's so much trust. Like, surely something is about to happen. Like, surely, like, I'm not seeing something because it can't be this good. So maybe there's a different area of your life where you resonate with this. But I think that this is quite a common fear of like, it's so good that maybe it ultimately is going to end at some point, because why would it get to be this good for this long, right? And so the reason that I, I love this belief, and I started to really work with it, of abundance is here to stay, is because it directly combats this feeling of like, it's all going to go away, or this this is just a phase or it's not going to last. And something that goes along with this really well is the belief of, you know, like, the better it gets, the better it gets. So it basically just keeps getting better all the time. The better things get, the better they get. And that was also really helpful to me in this stage of business. And even now, like, continuing to affirm these things to myself and choose to believe them when I have those moments of doubt or fear of like, oh my God, like, do people care? Is it all going to go away?, but choosing to believe no, like abundance is here to stay. It's here for a reason. I built this on a strong foundation, right? It's not just like something, some viral video that, you know, led me to sell some random like ebook for a little while, but that's unsustainable and no one cares about it. Like, no, there's a deeper mission and a why behind what I do and my business and all of the programs and things that I build and create. There's so much intention infused in them. Them. And I have an amazing community, right? Like, I, I so love and appreciate everyone who listens to the podcast, who follows me on Instagram. Like, I love hearing from you guys and reading your reviews and talking to you in the DMs. Like, there's actually a community here. There's a real base for what we've built and what we've created. And so I don't have to feel like it's going to inevitably go away just because it's getting better. I get to believe that the better it gets, the better it gets. And abundance is here for a reason, because it was cultivated, it was attracted, we built something that drew it in for a purpose. And so of course it's here to stay, because it's not here randomly, right? It's not here nonsensically. It's here for a reason, and it's here to stay. Another, another sort of belief or affirmation that I had recently, just super recently, like literally 2 or 3 weeks ago, I had this thought come through. I was doing a meditation and I had the, the voice come through that was just so clear with this belief that said, I'm allowed to have everything I desire without suffering. And that one also just like rocked me to my core. I was like, whoa, like, what would your life look like if you could truly develop a mindset where you believed I'm allowed to have everything I desire there without suffering. And, and the word choice of suffering is important because suffering is different than things being challenging, right? Yes, there's always going to be challenges, there's going to be hard things, there's going to be stuff that frustrates us, or, you know, stuff that breaks our heart a little bit, or things that suck. But suffering is when you really resist what is, and you're so trying so hard to swim upstream and go against the grain of what is that it creates this, like, perpetual suffering. So pain and suffering are also not the same thing. We can experience pain, but suffering is like that prolonged experience because our mindset is allowing that to flourish. We are like building an environment for the pain to continue on and to keep growing. And so if I believe that I'm allowed to have everything I desire without suffering, oh my God, like, I feel lighter already. Like, how can I walk through the world and manage my business and help my clients and put new programs out into the world and do all of this stuff because I believe like I get to have everything that I desire and it doesn't require suffering. Challenges, yes, maybe some pain, maybe some fear, maybe some doubt, but all of those things can be overcome and they don't need to be turned into suffering. And the better that things get, get should just be a signal to me that they're going to keep getting better, right? And even if that's not always true, right, there's going to be like some hiccups in the journey. And of course, business and life and relationships and everything is never 100% linear. So the better it gets, the better it gets doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be like a straight, you know, up into the right line of just increasing over time. There's going to be some like dips and divots and maybe some curveballs that are thrown in there. But the overall trend, if you were to zoom out on your life and see it on a graph, the overall trend should be an upward trend, right? There might be some like sharp little like, whoopsies, fucked up there, or, you know, had to learn a hard lesson or, you know, whatever it is. But the overall trend when you zoom out should be up and to the right. And I believe that that's been true for my life. It's probably been true for your life, even if you have really hard lessons or entire seasons or years of your life where you're confused or not knowing what you're doing or you feel like you're going backwards. But all of it was happening on purpose to give you the experience and the information that you needed so that you could propel yourself further up and to the right. Right. So that's kind of how I see that of like the better it gets, the better it gets. Again, is not believing that there's never going to be challenges or never going to be pain or never going to be tiny little like backslides or detours or even big ones. But in general, when things are getting better in my world, it serves me more to believe that that is evidence and proof that it's going to get even better beyond that. Right? It's almost like the best is yet to come, that sort of belief, right? So things are great right now. But how would you move through the world and life and relationships and faith and all those things if you really felt like like, things are really great. And you know what, I still believe the best is yet to come. That's something that, that we say at church all the time. Sometimes I go to Vu Church in Miami because I love it there. But a lot of times I just watch the sermons on YouTube. Because it's kind of a— if you know, South Florida driving traffic is horrible. So, so most of the time, I'm just watching it from my couch on YouTube. But sometimes I do drive into Miami, and I love the experience. But it's something that we say all the time at church, at the end of every single sermon, we say, "The best is yet to come." And if we really walked through the world believing that to be true, I think that we would carry ourselves in a different way. I think that we would be a little bit lighter. I think that we would be able to access more of our hope. We would allow ourselves to move deeper into our desires because we wouldn't be walking with so much fear. Right. And so all of this is, is all the same. They're all interconnected. Abundance is here to stay. The better it gets, the better it gets. The best is yet to come. I'm allowed to have everything I desire without suffering. I'm saying the same thing in many different ways, but it kind of carries this same sentiment of really believing that you are safe and you are taken care of and everything that you've worked hard to build and cultivate in your life, whether it's healthy relationships or a healthy business or fulfillment or joy or time freedom or peace or whatever it is, believing that that is here for a reason and it's here to stay and it's not the end, right? It's not the end. It doesn't stop here. It continues to get better. So that belief is one that's huge for me. I had to share it with you today because it's changed so much for me and I love it. It's like one of the ones that's probably like really high on my list right now that I love to reaffirm to myself over and over again. Can. So the last piece that I want to dive into in this episode that's all about like building an indestructible mindset or building a mindset that helps you create a life that you truly love is self-trust. I just couldn't finish this episode about mindset without talking about self-trust, because I really believe that self-trust is the biggest key to your liberation. The thing that's going to help you get everything that you want out of life is being able to trust yourself. So if we go all the way back to the beginning of this episode where we talked about some of those spiritual beliefs that helped really change my life, a lot of it was about like trusting your intuition and being able to act on it. And that brings us back to this conversation here about self-trust, because I see so many people self-sabotaging simply for the fear of failure, right? When should I start? I'm not sure. Maybe I should do this. Which offer should I put out first? Can I post this online? Maybe I should change my careers. Like, I don't really like this anymore, but I have no idea what to do, and I'll just wait until I feel more confident. I don't know if I'm fully qualified. All of this stuff is self-sabotage because there's a lack of trust. You haven't you have a desire and you're not taking any action because you don't trust yourself enough to go forward. So you would rather stand still and stay stuck and tell yourself the story of like, oh, I'm so uncertain, I don't have the answer, so I can't do anything yet. But what you're really doing is you're choosing familiarity over growth. And the reason for that is that you haven't fully cultivated the sense of self-trust. If I had to believe that I was qualified for everything that I wanted to do in life, Trust me, I would not be here, that's for sure, right? I was not qualified for being a teacher in Spain. Like, technically, I guess I met the qualifications because they really— they set the bar pretty low. But like, I had no teaching experience. I didn't know how to work with children. I didn't— I didn't know about childhood development. I didn't study any of that stuff. I wasn't qualified, but I believed that I could figure it out, and I trusted myself enough to do so. I wasn't qualified for that dream job of like working for the meditation company as a VA and a retreat planner. I never planned a frickin retreat in my life. I had never even been on a retreat. Like I was so underqualified for that position. But you know what, I believed in myself, I believed that if anyone could figure it the fuck out, it was going to be me. And I was going to show up so confident and so sure of myself. I'm actually just remembering this now to apply for that job, we had to submit like a video of ourselves, we had to record like a 3-minute video, kind of talking about our, like, experience and who we were and why we feel like we're a fit for the job and whatnot, the, the basics. And I remember them telling me, like, we went through so many videos and, like, yours was literally the only one that stood out because you were so confident and we can tell that you're so driven. And I got the job. Like, you know, these people were like, they had a lot of followers online, they had a really big audience, and I felt like applying for that job was a super huge shot shot in the dark. Like, they put it out to all their socials, like hundreds of thousands of followers, of like, hey, we're looking for, you know, an intern. And I was like, I'm so not qualified for this, but I'm really interested in yoga and meditation. I've had a yoga practice since I was young. I have a degree of some kind that might be able to support me. I don't really know the exact skills they're going to require, but like, I'm smart, I can learn, like I'm adaptable. Let's fucking go. And I really felt like it was a huge shot in the dark. So I was shocked they told me of all of the applications that they received, that mine really stood out. And if I hadn't trusted myself enough to say yes, and even just sit down to record that frickin video, like, well, how much of my life would be different right now? All of it. Like, I wouldn't have built the skills and the understanding and the inspiration to even do something of my own. I would have never maybe built a business at all. Like, I wouldn't be an entrepreneur, I wouldn't be living in this house, I wouldn't have any of the things that I have. Have, like, who knows where I would be right now. Right? So self-trust is the biggest key to your liberation. We have got to be able to do things without fully knowing the outcome. We've got to learn how to have uncertainty, risk, fear, doubt, and still move forward. That is the key. You've got to build a mindset that supports you in being able to do that. That's how you're going to create your best life. That's how you're going to create your biggest, freest, juiciest, funnest, most amazing life is being able to trust yourself, right? It was super risky for me to decline my corporate job and move to Spain right out of college, right? But I did it anyway. Why? Self-trust. I wasn't ready to quit my teaching job that I told you about when it started to get really toxic, but I didn't really have a backup plan. I was just, you know, at this unpaid internship. Like, I wasn't ready. I did it anyway. Why? Self-trust. I wasn't planning then to get fired from said dream job and become unemployed in a foreign country. I certainly wasn't planning on that. But how did I get through it? Self-trust. It didn't make sense for me to invest over $40,000 in mentorship in one year for my business. How did I do that anyways? How did I push through that barrier? How did I grow and scale my business so fast because I trusted myself, because I made, I made those investments, I made those leaps. And I got in the room with people that were going to help me grow, right? I wasn't ready to hire my first assistant. I resisted hiring for so long. I was so scared that no one was going to be able to do it the way that I did it. And how was I going to train them to be as good as me? And oh my gosh, if I have to pay someone every single month, that puts a lot of pressure on me needing to make a certain amount of money in my business. I resisted for so long delegating. And, and having to like manage somebody else and be responsible for paying them. And that means that I need to make a certain amount of money or else we're not going to make ends meet. I wasn't ready to take that leap, but I did it anyway. How? Through self-trust, right? And a mentor who really helped push me. That's a, that's a valid caveat to add to that, to having a coach that was like, you need to do this and you need to do it now.. And I was like, fuck, okay, right? It wasn't, it wasn't easy to suddenly pack up my whole life and leave Spain in a 30-day timeframe. Right? We decided, we got news that we would be able to move to America, and within 30 days we had to completely shut down our lives in Spain and get on an airplane, which means we had to sell all of our belongings. We had to completely empty out our apartment, we had to get it ready for rent. We had to, you know, do all the things of figuring out where we were going to live and what the moving plan was and booking the flights and getting our dog ready to travel internationally. And so that he was able to go on the plane with us. Like, there was so much to be done. It wasn't easy to suddenly pack up my whole life in another country and move in 30 days. How did I do it? Self-trust. Trust, because I knew so deeply that that was the next part of my evolution. I needed to come back to the US. I needed to establish my business in America. I needed to get grounded. I needed to buy a home. I needed to have a home base, right? I knew that that was the next step. And I was only able to do that because of self-trust. Um, yeah, I wasn't prepared for how hard it would be to buy home. a Speaking of, you know, buying the home, I was not prepared. I knew that I needed to do that and that was going to be a really great next step in my evolution, not just as like a person, but like also an adult. And it was going to be good for our relationship and it was going to be a good investment and it was going to help me feel really grounded to have this like sturdy base of like my own space that belongs to me. But I was not prepared for how hard that was going to be, especially since I was buying the home home by myself, right? And I had to do all the paperwork, and I had to do the mortgage and the insurance, and I was providing the finances for it, and I had to provide all the proof of the finances for it. And I, like, it was— oh my God, like, that was the hardest thing that I've ever done, and I was not prepared. But how did I get through it? Self-trust of knowing I'm gonna be okay, I'm gonna figure this out. Every single week when a new thing hit the fan and I was like, fuck, how are we gonna do this? And I don't know where to find that. And I don't know what the heck they're asking me for. And I don't know what that document is. Where do I get that? And what is that called? And oh my God, I didn't know that they were going to need that from me. Where do I find that? All of that, I got through it through self-trust. And even now, like, sometimes it's scary being the breadwinner and like the provider for your family. And that puts like a lot of pressure on things sometimes. But I move through that only because I've cultivated this sense of self-trust. So I'm trying to give you guys some examples of my own life of where I really feel like, you know, self-trust was the key. And I just know that I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't have that. So as we talk about, you know, how to build a top-tier mindset so that you can create a top-tier life, I really believe that self-trust is one of the biggest pillars and cornerstones of doing So, and it's kind of like this quote that's like, everything you want is on the other side of fear, right? We've all heard that before. Well, how are you going to get through that fear? Right? How are you actually going to get to the other side? Right? The quote is nice. Like, yeah, everything you want on the other side, everything you want is on the other side of fear, which reminds us we have to face our fears in order to get what we want out of life. But how, how are you going to get through that fear and doubt and magically end up on the other side. Self-trust. Self-trust is the formula. There's no other way. So you have to start choosing you in small, silly ways at first, and then in bigger ways, right? Self-trust is not built by quitting your job when you have no backup plan as like your first attempt at trusting yourself. I do not recommend that, right? Like trusting yourself in really small ways of knowing what you want and going for it, of knowing what you want to order at the restaurant and not asking other people what they're ordering first and just going with your gut instinct, of buying something without asking somebody else's opinion. There's tons of little ways that you can start to listen to your own inner voice and trust your own opinions and trust your own guidance, trust your own decision-making, and just go for it. You've got to be able to make decisions. I saw a Gary Vee video recently where he was talking about this idea of indecision. And he was like, there's so many people at this conference that have asked me in the past few days, like, about things in their life that they want to have control over that they don't have control over. Like, there's so much indecision because you're waiting to know all of the answers. You're afraid to choose between A or B because you feel like you need to know how both of those paths are going to end up so that you can adequately choose which one. And basically, he was was like, the, the thing about life is that you're never going to know if you're faced with two options, A or B, door one or door two. Like, we would all love to know and be able to see into the future of how, if I choose this one, how is my life going to end up? If I choose this one, how is my life going to end up? Okay, now I'm going to make an informed decision knowing all of the outcomes exactly how they're going to turn out in my life. Like, that's what we are kind kind of expecting when we're trying to make decisions about our life and our career and business, investing, all the things. But his point was basically, you're never going to know, and that's part of the process. So when you're stuck in indecision, what you're really saying is, I'm scared to fuck up and be judged for it. That's exactly what he said. That's the Gary Vee quote. I'm scared to fuck up and be judged for it. That's exactly what you're saying when you're like, I can't choose, I don't know, I'm uncertain, what do do. And so he went on to say, life is about making decisions and living with it. That's the game, and there's no other way to do it. Life is about making decisions and living with it, being brave enough to trust yourself and just make a choice, make the decision, and then live with it. And then it is what it is, and you trust yourself enough to figure it out. If you decide, hey, you know what, But this isn't the right thing for me, or this real relationship isn't working out, or that investment wasn't what I thought it was going to be. You live with it. You live with it and you learn from it and you move the fuck on. There is no other way to do life. So I hope this was helpful for you guys in terms of some mindset inspiration. Maybe it gave you some ideas of affirmations and things that you want to start using in your own life and hopefully just provided you with a little bit bit of courage to step into your sense of self-trust and start to make bold moves in your life and in your business that are going to support the life that you desire, right? Everything that you want to create is possible, but you've got to believe that it's available, and you have to have the self-trust to start taking the actions towards it.
