Main Character Energy: The Self-Trust, Soul Strategy & It Girl Mindset That Changes Everything
30 Apr 2025 · 68 min
In this interview‑style episode, host Samantha Daly and guest Lisa discuss the core principles that underpin a sustainable personal‑brand business. They argue that delivering real, results‑driven products is the baseline for any legitimate business and that authentic, caring mentorship creates the safety and trust needed for clients to keep investing. The conversation shifts to the pitfalls of “shiny‑object” marketing, emphasizing the importance of listening to intuition over hype when choosing mentors or programs. Samantha then reveals her behind‑the‑scenes work: a forthcoming evolution of her product suite that moves away from a traditional beginner‑intermediate‑advanced ladder toward a curated set of offers tailored to her ideal client, aiming to showcase the breadth of her knowledge more publicly. She also shares a personal milestone—planning her wedding—and how she applies the same belief‑focused mindset to that project. The episode closes with gratitude, a call‑to‑action for listeners to share the show, and pointers to show notes for deeper engagement.

Ja, this feels like a full circle moment because I wouldn't be sitting here with my own podcast and a successful business without having worked with this incredible woman. So I'm so happy that we're finally doing this. Welcome to the show, Sam. I'm so excited to have you.
Thanks for having me.
I'm so excited to finally be here. Yes, it's been a long time coming. So just to give some context for my listeners, Sam is one of my long-term business mentors. She's also the podcast host of Makeshift Happen, uh, which I know a lot of you guys already listen to and are a big fan of. And yeah, Sam, I definitely, I mentioned it before, I definitely feel like I procrastinated on this episode. I guess for some fear of like I don't know, not being good enough interviewer yet, or maybe because I look up to you so much and I feel like you're doing such great work with your podcast. So yeah, I'm happy to finally have you here and like have worked up the courage to do that with you. And I want to ask you so many juicy questions today about, you know, building a successful online business or even more important, a personal brand. I hope that's okay for you that we're like skipping the origin story today, not because your story of how you got here is not amazing. It is super amazing. But because I know most of my listeners already are familiar with you and they follow you on Instagram, they listen to your podcast and they have watched your journey over the years. I thought, let's just get straight into the juicy stuff.
Yeah, let's do it.
Yeah, I put a, I put a question box into my stories also the other day for my community to submit questions that they would love for you to answer. And honestly, I was shocked about the amount of questions that came in.
Oh my God, I love that. Yeah. Wait, I'm shocked that I didn't see it. I normally like always watch your stories. I don't know, you guys, obviously Lisa's stuff is, is in German, but I always watch her stories anyways. And then sometimes I'll like send her random messages being like, I know you're talking about podcasting, like pretending like I'm cool for like understanding the one thing. That I could get from, from the German, but I'm surprised I didn't see that.
Yeah, it was, uh, like 2 days ago. I mean, maybe you're still recovering from your last launch a little bit and you're just like taking a little break of stories. That's totally fine. But I was overwhelmed and shocked by the amount of questions that came in. Typically when I do these like question boxes, there's like, you know, there are some questions, but this time I was like, okay, so many questions. So. I want to get— I'd want to try to at least get into all of them. But just to kind of kick us off, one thing I deeply resonated with was when you announced your kind of like theme of the year being the It Girl Era. I don't know if you noticed, but last year my theme was Main Character Energy. And I think we both kind of have a similar vibe when it comes to this whole theme of being the it girl or the main character of your own life. But I wanted to ask you, like, what does that mean to you? What's your definition of being an it girl and why is that important? Or like, why is that the era for you moving forward?
Yeah, yeah, I love that. And also like the main character energy was like so your thing. I love that you were like creating offers around it and like really just leveraging it. And also with all the modeling stuff, like it just really aligned with like your brand and who you are. So I love that so much. For me, obviously you'll know because you were like in my world, but I was coming off the back of like the soft CEO era. Which was this, this time in my business where I really wanted to— I wanted to leverage my time. So it wasn't about like doing less or stepping back per se, but it was more about like challenging myself of can I have this incredible impact and feel really lit up and excited in my business while also creating more white space and free time and delegating even more. I brought on another team member. I took Fridays off of work, so I was only doing a 4-day work week. And so I was doing all these different things. I was starting to launch in different ways, um, experimenting and playing with ways of selling things that didn't involve me doing live masterclasses. And just, it was, it was like a fun, like, experiment, right, of like, how can I be in my soft CEO energy where I get to be the soft feminine but also maintain a lot of, like, the power that I've built over the years because of like the strategy that is behind that, right? So it wasn't like, let's go all the way into the feminine, but it was more just like leaning into leveraging the feminine alongside of the masculine structure and strategy that was already in place from so many years in business. And so I had that year of soft CEO energy, which was, you know, that came to be— if you guys listen to my podcast, you'll know I like told the whole story. I cried. It was like a big thing. There was a lot of things that happened in my personal life to where I was kind of like at a breaking point of like, I need like some space. Like, I need, I need to pour into myself. I need to fill my own cup. And so that was 2024, was the soft CEO era. So going into 2025, you know, we love like a New Year's energy type situation to really evaluate like what we've learned from the last year, what we're feeling for this year. And I just really loved, first of all, the energy of instead of just picking like a word, really like deciding on like an era or a theme, kind of like main character, it girl, soft CEO. So I wanted to go with that again for 2025 of like really defining my like era and my theme for this year. And I just felt that I had this fire that like was coming back and wanting to really lean in and go hard. And it was kind of like a grittier energy. It was— there was definitely more of like that, that masculine energy that was wanting to like come back online, coming off the back of the Soft CEO. And so it girl era, just, it felt like at the start of the year I made this reel and it was just me dancing in a bathrobe and it was just meant to be silly, but it was like talking about how when you decide that this is the year that you like get engaged and buy a Porsche and make millions. Um, and I really was just like, I didn't know that all those things were definitely going to happen, but of course I had like dreams and intentions and manifestations And so we just finished quarter one of the year and we've already crossed $2 million, bought a Porsche, and got engaged. Oh my God. So first of all, like putting your stuff out there and like setting the intention is very real. But that was like a version of me embodying the It Girl energy. So to explain in a very long-winded way what it means to me, it's like feeling that like fire, that grit, that ambition, like coming back online for the business of really being excited by the work, being excited by the idea idea of like, I'm gonna do whatever it takes. Being really excited by the idea that like, I could create even bigger results for me, my family, the people in my community, for my clients. Like, let's fucking go! Being like the it girl of your own story, of your own life, but also becoming that person where you're like, everyone wants to hire me. Like, the only thing that you can take from me at this point is notes, okay? Like, that's it girl energy. Like, you couldn't copy me if you tried. Like, It's like being the muse, you know, and not, not in like an arrogant way, but really in like a let's carry like this energy of confidence and conviction because that creates results for you and also for the people in your world.
I love this answer so much. There's already such a fire like building up in my belly watching you, listening to you. It's just, yeah, it's radiating it girl energy off of every cell. And, um, yeah, and it looks like you're really like living in this vision right now. Just like you mentioned, you've built a 7-figure coaching business, you brought your dream beach condo in Florida. You just got engaged. Congrats, by the way, again. And now, yeah, you also are driving a custom-made Porsche. So, so many incredible things that have just fucking happened for you in such a short amount of time. I wanted to ask you, would you say that this life that you're living right now feels as good as you imagined maybe years ago? Are you— would you say that you are living your dream life right now, or has it maybe evolved into something even bigger for you now over the years.
Okay, so I have something I think you're really going to love and your business is going to love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram Stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales, but if your Instagram Stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on stories isn't about how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing. And the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look-at-me content and calling it authority. Sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story selling sequence designed to drive demand and convert sales. We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more. You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is gonna give you 5 high-converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides from authority building all the way to offer flow in less than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under 6 hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy. You already know your offer is incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is. Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next story your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside. Hmm. Yeah, this is a really good question because I think there's always there's, there's almost like the inner child version of us that's like, you have those moments where you're like, holy shit, like, I'm like the girl of my own dreams. Like, what? Where you really feel like, this is my dream life, this is actually crazy. What is life? What is money? What is anything? Like, is this real? You're like touching everything, being like, I can't even believe that this is my life. But then I also think there's that other side of you that gets really accustomed to everything that you've created, and a lot of things start to become normalized. Yeah. And there, there can be those times where if you feel a little bit detached from the reality of like the miracle and the bigness of everything that you've created, and your tunnel vision just focused on like next goal, next milestone, next thing, like keep going, it's almost like I think we've all experienced this at some point in our, in our lives, regardless of what you do for work or what your career path is, of like, I think everyone is always trying to figure out like, when is enough enough? And like, when do we stop moving the goalpost? And so when you do start to hit these like extraordinary milestones and things like that, it can be a really interesting point of self-reflection of like, this feels so crazy and exciting, and also it still feels like not enough in a way, or like there's so much more. And I think there's, there's definitely like an insidious side to that that's like dangerous, but I also just think there's part of it that's like human nature, right? Yeah, of like, humans are wired for growth. And so once you've normalized a certain level, it's inevitable that your, you know, internal signals that are always searching for the next way to stretch and grow are going to be looking for those opportunities and wanting to expand. So it's like walking that fine line of like always moving in gratitude and landing back in your heart and feeling so grateful, um, and happy for everything that you have and knowing that everything that you have is more than enough. Like, I really feel that in my life now. If I were to like live the rest of my life at this current level and doing what I'm able to do now, like, I, I would be happy until I died. And unless, of course, you know, I ignored that part of me that still wants to grow. So I think we do have a responsibility to tend to that part of ourselves that wants to be challenged, right? Like, I heard something recently about how that was like part of human happiness and fulfillment is this feeling of being challenged, which is why so many people that are born into really wealthy existences or Maybe they're like trust fund babies, or they get handed a company from their parents, and the— oh, okay, now you're just a millionaire overnight. Um, it's like they will get into these destructive cycles, or they're not really happy, or they end up being the types of people that are depressed. Or maybe even like celebrities that it's like, oh my gosh, you have everything, but then they're so mentally unwell, and maybe even, you know, sick, mental illness, depression, those types of things. And it's because they don't feel like there's anything that they're striving for. Like, when you can just like go around in the world and anyone will do anything for you and you get everything for free anyway just because of your name, and you can just be like, that yacht, that house, that whatever, um, sure, let's go here, there, like, where is the dopamine? Like, what is— and we get that from feeling, wanting to feel challenged. So yes, I feel like I'm living in my dream life, and also I still, I still want to be challenged and I want to like grow even more, not for the sake of needing more, but for the sake of the pursuit of like something.
Yeah, yeah, I love this answer. There's a song here in Germany, and it's a very famous quote of that song that goes somewhat like, my goal is to always have a goal. And I resonate with that so much because of what you just said, that it's just, yeah, it's the, the pursuit of the goal, the having something to like keep going for and like new things that you want to achieve, that is, that's where you get a lot of your happiness from. And I, I feel very similar to that. Um, I wanted to, to go a little bit into the behind the scenes of your business evolution because I'm interested from like a personal perspective, but obviously also for all of the listeners. You started in the same field or space of mindset and manifestation that I'm now in, and then you transitioned more into, or like fully into, I would I would say, business mentorship. And now you're all about marketing and messaging and helping women grow their businesses. And I'm curious if that was like, was it a clear, intentional decision that you made one day or more of a natural evolution of maybe your brand and your energy over time?
It was not an intentional decision. So funnily enough, I feel like Becca was probably one of like the first clients where I realized I think I may be business coaching this person. So it started like happening naturally behind the scenes within my like life mindset manifestation business before there was any offers really, you know, clearly that were like, this is business coaching related. So my clients were obviously working on transforming their inner worlds, their subconscious, their mindset. They were manifesting things in their careers and in their life and their relationships. And I think, you know, with anyone listening that's been on their own personal development journey, like doing the inner work, becoming obsessed with all the self-help stuff, as you naturally do, I think that that path awakens you to the knowing that there is a deeper purpose on your life. And I think that awakening is what oftentimes makes people want to become entrepreneurs, because they feel like, oh my gosh, everything that I've been through actually wasn't just like some random shit that I've been through, But it's now an opportunity for me to help others, to reach my hand back, to accelerate someone else's healing, to allow someone else to grow, evolve, change, be happier, live a healthier life in less time with less pain. Like, oh my gosh, like I can actually do that. I can facilitate that. And now with like online education and, and the coaching space, it's becoming more and more popular for people to realize that they can monetize their lived experiences in helping other people take shortcuts. And get certain results in life faster. And so it was, it was only natural that a lot of my clients at that time were starting to go, I think I kind of want to like work for myself or like turn this into a business or maybe just a side hustle. And then they're looking at me because I'm their coach and they're like, well, you started a business. Like, what, what was that like? Like, would you think I should start posting on social media? Like, how often? How much? What should I say? Like, how do you make an offer? And so it just kind of like like literally I was in From Burnt Out to Badass with Becca and we were like making a coaching offer for her to sell. She didn't end up selling. She didn't end up selling it because it took her a little while to get, you know, the story. But anyways, yeah. So it wasn't like this thing where I was like, I'm going to be a business coach. Not at all. But it started to turn into this thing where I was like, I'm actually business coaching these people for the price of life coaching, which that's not cool. Yeah, I got it. Maybe we should make something for these women that want to step into their purpose and make their passion their paycheck. And so that's how Abundant and Ambitious was born, which was like the very first business coaching offer that I ever created. And then it just kind of naturally evolved from there. Yeah.
Yeah. And I think it was because you built a personal brand and women just wanted to learn this from you because they resonated with you so much. And I love that. This is also why you're talking about building a personal brand so much in your work, because it's not just building a business, but also sharing from like sharing your own journey and your lifestyle and the tools that have helped you. And now that you've done like you've helped so many women, including me, including Becca in A&A and Top Tier and one-on-one coaching. And now that you've seen so many women build their businesses and you've probably seen a lot of them succeed and maybe also some of them, I don't want to say fail, but maybe stop this work or not continue building their brand. So what do you think it really takes to succeed in the coaching industry today in like 2025? I'm talking like, you know, mindset, personality traits, beliefs. What are the top things that are coming to your mind?
This is a really good question. And I'm like getting ready. I'm like getting ready for like battle in my chair. I'm like, oh, let me sit up for this one because there's no doubt that like the industry has changed a lot. Yeah. Not just just the coaching industry, but just like online marketing in and of itself and social media, right? Like, social media has changed so much. The thing is, it used to be so fucking easy. And like, we could hate on all the people that like started in 2016 and, you know, 2017 because it literally was so easy to grow.
I know, I'm like, oh, can we just go back in time? Literally, I could just post a few lip sync reels and I would make so much money off of that.
So unfair. Literally, just like we used to just go, yeah, point to text on the screen to a song and it's like, oh my God, 40,000 views. Like, wow. Yeah, times, times have changed. So I think, but that's, that's part of the game of entrepreneurship, right? Is like there's going to be ups and downs in the market. The consumers are getting smarter, but they're also getting more jaded because they've bought things that are not very good, or they've worked with people that are not in integrity and don't really give a shit too much about their clients or their client results. And so now there's a larger challenge for the people that are moving from the heart and working in integrity and wanting to help their clients of like, I'm mixed in, I'm lumped in in the minds of all these people with the stuff that was like low quality, didn't work, wasn't what they promised. They didn't care about me. I didn't get what they said that I was going to get. Whatever. And on top of that, social media is so much more competitive because content creation is now a full-time job. That's a literal job description. It's— kids in school nowadays are like, I want to be a YouTuber, I want to be a content creator. Like, that is the holy grail in our society right now, is like full-time content creation. So what does that do to the market? It makes it so much more competitive because people, that's their full-time job. They're not business owners creating content. Just to drive traffic to their business. They, they're literally creating content and that's their job. That's it, is to make content. So of course their camera quality is better, their transitions are better. The amount of time that they have to spend on content is way more than you and you and I have. It just creates this environment where we're forced to level up and we could get butthurt about the situation, which is like, yes, it is harder to grow now. Whether that's like grow a social following or like grow your business, however you want to look at it. I do think it's more challenging now in 2025 than it was in 2020, 2015, whatever. Um, but I think the only really way through that is to like saddle up and be like, okay, let's fucking go. Like, let's play ball. I guess I'm gonna— I guess I'm gonna get better at content, right? Like, if I'm not growing my following and I'm not getting more views on my stuff, I'm not like, oh, the algorithm. I'm like, No bitch, your content needs to be better. Get fucking better. And I think that's something that really is required. Like if you want to grow, you need to stop throwing pity parties for yourself and acting like everything is like so hard and sad and oh, poor me. It is hard. You think building a multimillion dollar business and having a standout personal brand in the social media environment that we have today is supposed to be fucking easy? That's a reality check. Sorry. It's not going to be easy. Hey, don't forget that every month we are picking a listener of the month to win $50 in cash just for showing love to the show. So first thing is understanding like it's probably gonna be hard, But like, I'm down for the challenge. Ooh, I'm kind of excited by it. Ooh, I'm kind of like motivated by it. Okay, okay, hang on, sit back, let me— watch me eat. Like, I'm going to— I'm going to work on this.
You know what I mean?
Like, you have to have that mentality, that mindset, that grit, that ambition to just keep getting back up, to keep trying. Okay, the market has changed. The consumers have evolved. Social media is more competitive. Okay. And watch me show up. Watch me compete. Watch me try harder. Watch me do better. That's the energy that ultimately creates the people that like stand out and succeed versus the people that like fall back and go, oh, you know, maybe this isn't for me. And like, look, entrepreneurship is not for everyone, so there's no shade to anyone who has tried it and has been like, wasn't good for my nervous system, I can't handle the level of stress and responsibility, I actually realize I don't like that, I don't want that. I think everyone should be doing something that's aligned for them, but I do think that that kind of hunger is probably the main thing that makes a standout difference for me and what I've seen of people that ultimately succeed and people that end up getting swallowed by the industry.
Yeah, 100%. I, I absolutely love this answer. I think it's so true. You have to be somewhat, maybe even competitive, hungry, determined, like you want ambitious, obviously. You, you, and you actually have to want it enough to be willing to put in amount of work and live with the stress and all the things that you said. And you touched on messaging or like marketing and you have to get better at marketing. And this is your, your absolute zone of genius. Like I can attest to that. I know that because I've worked with you. So maybe this question is good to ask now. Like what are some of like the biggest mistakes maybe that you see coaches make, especially when it comes to their messaging and building momentum in their business? Because now, like you said, marketing is becoming more and more important. It was so much easier when I started my business. I need to actively work on getting better at messaging and like, not like, you know, put my blinders on and like avoid this topic because sometimes I'm like, oh, I don't want to fucking think about hooks now, all these things, but you just have to do it. So maybe what are some of the biggest mistakes that you typically see coaches make when they want to get better with their messaging and marketing and like, where do they fail, or what keeps them stuck at, like, basic average, you know, boring marketing? Boring marketing.
Yeah, too boring. No personality. Afraid to be polarizing. Not placing importance or attention on the marketing, thinking that they can just show up and be good at what they do and that it's enough. It's not. Like, I think that is one of the things, like you said, a lot of business owners don't want to be marketers. They want to be in their zone of genius as a practitioner, as a, a teacher, educator, healer, whatever it is that they actually do in their work. They just want to be able to do that. And I think that you can get to a place where that is the case, but if right now you don't have the resources or the time or the money or whatever to like actually delegate and have other people doing that stuff. Then it's almost like the price to entry. It's like, hello, you have to do that then. Like, you don't get to do that. I literally was just on a call the other day, um, with the A&A girls, and someone was asking me like, so do you think that I should do discovery calls? Or if I know that I don't want to do a lot of sales calls or discovery calls in the future, if I should like not build my business in that way or not? Do them. And I was like, well, how many have you done? And she's like, well, I haven't done any. And I was like, go do 100 and then talk to me. Like, it, it's crazy how like the marketing nowadays will make you think that you get to skip all the steps. Yeah, like you don't get to, you don't get to skip like being the marketer. Like, that's what it is being a solopreneur when you don't have a fucking team and you don't have people that you're paying. Like, it's you, bitch. That's your job.
Yes.
Yes.
First you crawl, then you walk, then you run.
Yeah. So like, you do have to, you do have to learn it. I know that it's not everyone's favorite thing, but it is important. So I think the biggest mistake is one, not viewing it like that, thinking that you get to skip that step or that, you know, you could just delegate to like a social media manager. Like, good luck building a personal brand if you're trying to just delegate to a social media manager from like the start. Like, that is not gonna work. Like, yes. And I also don't think that that's the job of a social media manager. A social media manager should be like supplemental support to your socials. It should not be like, I don't like doing content, so like I'm just gonna tell these other people to do it. Like, okay, then what is your brand? Like, where is the personality? It just doesn't work like that. So that's a huge mistake, I think, along with what I said before of like, it's just too boring, it's too basic. You're using language that everyone has also already using, it's going over people's heads because they've heard it 1,000 times.
Just think about living up to your potential or something like that.
Even like, like I think of like the classic example of like self-love. Like, yeah, don't, don't you remember when self-love was like a revolutionary concept? Like, it's, it's weird to think about the fact that it was, but like there legitimately was a time, like maybe in like 2017 or something where it was like, that was hot. That was like hot topic. Oh my God. Like, I need to hear this self-love. If you hear someone say something really basic now about like how to learn to love yourself, scroll past, don't care, because we've heard it a million times. Like novelty sells. So whatever you're selling, it doesn't mean you have to reinvent the wheel, but you do have to put on your marketing brain and think of, are there new buzzwords that I can create? Are there new ways of talking about this? Can I turn it into a framework? Could I call it like my 3-step formula to X rather than just saying here's how to manifest? Like, no one gives a shit at this point because everyone thinks that they know it already, especially with TikTok culture. Mm-hmm. There's so much knowledge that is happening from the educational content on platforms like that and through reels and stuff like that. But people aren't actually embodying these things. But because they feel like they know it, it's no longer stopping their scroll or making them pay attention because they've heard it a million times, which makes them feel like they're already doing it or they're already living it. What we know as like practitioners behind the scenes is a lot of people know a lot of stuff about health, about fitness, about mindset, about trauma, about whatever. You know a lot on the surface from your TikTok degree, from your YouTube university, but you're not actually living it and embodying it. But that's our challenge then as practitioners is like, how do we talk about these things in a way that actually makes people stop and pay attention? Because we're saying it in a way that makes them feel like, oh, what is she talking about? I'm not sure I've learned this way before, or this is a new modality, or this feels like different, a different— I've never heard it in this way. That's your job. And that's what's exhausting about marketing. It's like always reinventing the way that we're talking about things. But words are so important. So I think another big mistake is like just using the same words over and over again and assuming that they're going to land forever, even if they landed a year or two years ago, you might have to start to talk about it in a different way now because it's become white noise.
Yeah, it's the scroll-stopping, what do you say, drool-worthy content that you need to actually work, work much more on. And I feel like there's two, like it's a double challenge right now. You have to be really good or better than used to have to be in the past of like creating content and being good at marketing. And then also because there are so many creators nowadays that maybe don't have a business attached to it or courses or programs or coaching, you also need to be good at selling and like creating content that is actually, you know, helping people to make the decision to invest in you. So both is, is important. Um, and you mentioned like being the embodiment of your work. Um, I actually recorded a podcast episode about this, um, that came out today where I was talking about like the 10 things that I would personally look for in a coach. And now that you also touched on this, it reminded me of, of that episode. And I thought I'd ask you like if you would, or if you were looking for a coach or a mentor today, what would be non-negotiables for you besides like from a business mentoring perspective now with the marketing and everything, but actually working with the person, what are a few important things that you look for in a mentor?
Okay. I'll share with you something that one of my mentors said to me a couple of years ago, which really stuck with me. And she said, I work with happy mentors, not rich mentors.
Oh, I love this. Yeah.
And I think I might have shared that with you guys, but that is something that has stuck with me. Not because it's like, you know, people that have created a lot of wealth are like not good mentors, but there are a lot of rich people or people that are doing really well in the online space But if they're not genuinely happy and fulfilled in their life, do they have stable, healthy relationships with friends, with their partner? You know, do they have a life outside of their business? Do they have a lifestyle that feels like it's aspirational to me? I want to learn from people that are really, like you said, an embodiment of where I'm trying to go, because I always think about like the moment that I decided that I did not want to go into a corporate career. And that was when I was sitting at my corporate internship in my cubicle in Chicago. And I realized that one of my bosses was also in the same size cubicle as me, the, the intern was in. He was right across the hall from me in the same size cubicle. And, um, He always looked like a mess. I think he was an alcoholic and he was in his 50s, and he just kind of seemed like a little bit like— he was a nice guy, but he just kind of seemed, you know, when you can just— you get that energy that like, yeah, this person's probably not that happy like in their personal life. And I just thought, oh my God, that's the future of this role. Like, if your boss is literally in a position where you're like, I would not want to be in that position, then you've got to start seriously looking at what is a different vertical or a different angle or like something else that I can do, because the trajectory that I'm on is leading to somewhere that I actually don't want to go. And so I think of the same thing with mentors, is like if they have a shitload of money but like they don't have a life that I would want to trade them with, then I don't really want to learn from them. Because mentorship for me is so much more than just, oh, they, they know something or they have skill. And I do think that that's really important, is like looking for people that aren't just like, oh, they have a cool lifestyle. Like, they actually should also have some knowledge and some skill and something legitimate that you want to learn and implement into your life or your business that's going to give you an edge or uplevel your skill set or make you better in some way. But it's like the combination of those two things that I find is really important for me is they are a good person. I can tell that they have really great relationships. I can tell that they care about their family, their friends, their clients. Like, they really do have have a good heart. It's not just all for show on social media of, oh, look at me, like, look how cool everything looks. Um, and that they have a lifestyle that I'm like, that feels really aspirational to me, and I just like align with their energy. And on top of it, they have something cool that they can teach me.
Yeah, and you actually want to be in their energy. And if they would maybe even give you some of their energy, you would actually be okay with that, or even maybe want that. And you're just one of them.
Yeah, yeah, I think that's a really good point too, especially when it's like close proximity mentorship. Yeah, like if you're working with someone in a, uh, like a kind of like mastermind space or like one-on-one, then absolutely you want their energy to be something that feels life-giving to you. Yeah, like when you got on— when you get on calls with them, you want to feel like, oh, I feel this fire, like I'm excited, I'm lit up, or like I'm, I'm— I feel like I can do this. Like I came into this call with like a problem or a challenge, but now I feel like clear and I'm like— you need that type of energy. Definitely not someone whose energy is going to make you more stressed out or like drag you down.
Yes, exactly. And that's, that's exactly what I'm missing right now in the mentoring that I'm in right now. Because I don't know if I told you this, I invested into a mastermind here in Germany because I wanted, I wanted to try to work with a German coach also. And I don't want to say it has been like a mistake or, you know, it was definitely for a reason and blah, blah, blah. But that's the whole thing that's missing.
Is it the marketing agency over again?
Oh God, that's not the marketing agency. That's— yeah, that was also a mistake. But no, it's, it's just, it reminded me of the fact that I want to invest into a mentor that I actually like also from like a personality point of view and like their energy and wanting to be in their energy and not just learning from them because they have such cool numbers or such a whatever high-end business, but actually a person that I would would probably even be friends with. So I think that's also why I was so happy in your programs, because I feel this way about you. It's like, I think, you know, we, we would, we could be friends in real life if we would not live across the globe from each other. So that's really, yeah, something I, I find is so important. And yeah, what you, what you said, I, I feel the same way. Um, before we go into all the questions from my community that I wanted to ask you, I would love to hear from you for as good as you can remember, obviously, because because you are coaching a lot of people, but because you've mentored me in like different stages of my business from Abundant and Ambitious, this is where I started, then to Top Tier. And I don't know, I feel like even though we haven't worked together for a year now, I feel like I'm still kind of in your energy and like still kind of, I don't know, connected to you. So I'd love to know from your perspective, what's maybe something that you've noticed about how I've grown or evolved since then, like since I was in ANA. And what has this been like, like doing, like mentoring me? What was that like for you?
You're like, can you just tell me about myself, please?
Oh, I'm asking this because my, uh, a client of mine actually, I put a sticker into my stories like months ago and I was like, what, who, what guests would you want me to have on my podcast and why? And she said, please bring on Sam, and I want to hear like how your mentorship also kind of was like.
She's like, I want Sam to spill the tea on what you're actually like.
Yeah, maybe.
Okay, well, I think the— when you were first saying that, the thing that I was thinking of was I feel like you have always been a confident individual, but I think if I, if I look back on your, like, energy and presence in something like Ana as compared to, like, now, I just feel like you've really, like, almost put a magnifying glass on that, like, inner confidence that you always had and, like, really have owned it more in your content, in your expression, in, uh, like, your boldness of the way that you're, like, willing to say things. Like, I almost kind of picture, like, the Ana version of you, like, a little bit more, a little bit more like sweet and like, like quiet, like a little bit. But it wasn't because you weren't confident. It was just that you didn't like fully turn it like all the way up yet.
Do you know what I mean? Yeah, totally. I think I was always more like in this, I don't know, nice girl archetype of like, yeah, being the nice girl. I was also always very afraid of being seen as arrogant or—
I don't know.
And yeah, maybe, maybe that's what you mean. Maybe this is now a little bit less Yes.
Yeah, like, you know, I always say like polarize to magnetize, and I think there's like a part of you that's kind of flipped the switch of like, if people take this as like arrogance or they don't like my energy or it's not— it doesn't ignite something within them, then like I guess that they're not my type of people kind of thing. Yeah. Whereas it used to be more you being that version of yourself but like with a little bit of padding.
Yeah.
You know, like we— and I think we've all done that. We've been like the the caveated version of ourselves where we're like kind of like bold, but then there's like a disclaimer below the boldness. And I think when you like remove the disclaimers and the caveats and you just actually are who you are and you let your full expression and personality shine, it lands and hits so much harder in the best way. And it attracts the right people and it turns away the wrong people, which is a, which is a really great thing. Um, so I think that's like energetic-wise, like that's probably the biggest thing that I've noticed is moving from from a little bit more of like a sweeter, like, nice girl archetype to more stepping into amplifying, putting the magnifying glass on that inner confidence that you've always had and just kind of like fucking owning it.
Yeah, the main character thing.
Yeah, yeah, the main character energy. Well, and it became such a big thing for you. Yeah, you know, and, and for your brand and for, I'm sure, your audience. And like, people feel that. And that's the thing is we get to lend our energy out to other people. And that's a beautiful feeling when you step into someone's community or their world or their work in some way. And you almost, like you said, you feel like you're taking on a piece of their energy and that's actually life-giving to you where it's like, if I work with you, Elisa, and I walk out and I feel more confident, more main character, like I'm being more myself and being more bold, then like, that's a beautiful thing and that's that's what it's there for. If there's people that are triggered by it or bothered by it, then that work just isn't for them yet.
Yeah. Okay, thank you so much. That feels really good to receive. And I like that this is your observation because it's something that I wanted to intentionally also work on because I was tired of being this nice girl and like being afraid to, uh, offend anyone. And it was time to let that identity go and, um, just like be more be more authentically me as I am. I think you said this also, like, just be more online like you would be in real life. So if someone meets me in real life, they are not surprised by what they see or how I talk because, yeah, I'm just being authentically me. So yeah, thank you for saying that. Even though I admit it was a little bit like fishing for compliments, but I wanted, I wanted to, to know that.
No, I love it. I love it. I'm, I'm so happy to do the reflection with you. I love that energy. Like, tell me about myself.
Come on. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
So yeah, like I said, it girl.
It's a girl energy. I love this energy also in this room here with, with you. It's just, it's perfect. Okay, so like I said, I put this sticker into my stories and there were a lot of questions. So I want to make sure that we get through at least a few of them. So one question that one girl submitted, which I thought was so cool, and I want to ask you this. Um, as she said, what helped you to overcome imposter syndrome and the feeling of not being good enough to put your work out there, especially knowing that there are so many other coaches and competitors? Um, and maybe when you feel like, I don't know if you had this when you launched your first offer that was in the business space of probably thinking like, oh my God, there are already so many offers like this. And why would someone learn from me? Like how you, how you overcame that. Came, how you've been able to overcome this. And she specifically said, and I need to add this because she told me to do so, she was like, yes, I know I am unique and no one is me. This kind of answer of like, oh yeah, no, I wouldn't, you know, she said she needs something else.
So yeah, okay, no, I don't say that anyways. Like, oh, you are— no one's you and that's your superpower. Yeah. Um, you're like, okay, cool, that helped me zero fucking percent. Okay, imposter syndrome is interesting because I think that like it's something that still like comes up for me sometimes. And what I've learned— I talked about this when I spoke at Abercrombie Fitch because I was speaking to these women that were career women but obviously were ambitious and, you know, wanting to accelerate their careers. So I don't even think it matters like if you're an entrepreneur or not, of like, oh, there's so many people else doing— like imposter syndrome is something that everybody feels celebrities like we've heard so many people talk about it. But in for me, I think the most interesting thing about it is that I only really ever feel imposter syndrome when I'm about to like break a new level. So the way that I kind of shift my thinking around it is like you don't feel imposter syndrome about something that you're so seasoned in and you've done so many times and you know for sure you're going to succeed and it's like a no problem thing for you. You just don't. So you only really feel imposter syndrome about something that you're like, oh my God, like, am I good enough to do this? Like, can I actually? And I felt I had to talk about imposter syndrome at Abercrombie headquarters. And I was like, I feel imposter syndrome about going to speak at Abercrombie headquarters because I'm like, what am I supposed to say to them? Like, I've never even worked in corporate. Like, quit your job. Like, I can't say that, you know?
So then like later, Abercrombie's like, like, we fucking want our money back because like all of our people have like—
everybody quit. This was the worst investment ever. I'm like, I'm sorry. Um, so it was, it was such an interesting like conundrum of an experience of like, I feel imposter syndrome about speaking to these people, but I'm going to talk to them about imposter syndrome. What I ended up telling them was like, the, the same reason for why I feel imposter syndrome coming here today and speaking to you all is the exact reason why I have to talk to you about imposter syndrome, because you only ever feel this feeling when you're about to break a glass ceiling, when you're about to do something that you're not an expert in yet, that you haven't done a million times, that you don't feel seasoned in. And that means that you're on the precipice of growth. That means that you're meeting the edge of your comfort zone and you're choosing to cross that threshold and do it anyways. And so I think that imposter syndrome gets to become this sort of green light for us, a sign of growth, the sign that we're willing to dance with the fear and the uncertainty and not turn away from it or back down from it, but to go, yeah, I feel fucking imposter syndrome, and question mark, like, don't you? Like, that's how we grow. So I, I think I used to think of imposter syndrome as like this thing that I needed to like try to conquer or work through or get rid of. And I actually think, at least for me and like a lot of my clients, has been more healing to observe that imposter syndrome is really a sign of like growth and stepping outside the comfort zone. And it's not really something that you need to put that much importance on or like worry about trying to like get over it or get through it or conquer it or eliminate it. It's just like we live with imposter syndrome when we're doing stuff that we're not seasoned at. And as an entrepreneur especially, like, that's the game, right? So it's almost like, okay, new level of the video game. Is it uncomfortable? Sure. Do it anyways. And maybe, maybe this person that asked this question feels like that's also unhelpful. But that's the truthiest truth that I have found when it comes to imposter syndrome is not, here's how you get rid of it and here's how you conquer it and here's how you heal it. It's like, it's actually just part of the human experience of like breaking through barriers and doing new stuff. So the ultimate hack is to not judge yourself for the fact that you feel imposter syndrome and to not act like it's a sign for you to not move forward. And also to not feel like you have to gaslight yourself, like she was saying, by being like, no, I am qualified because no one's me. Like, no, you don't have to gaslight yourself into feeling like you don't feel imposter syndrome. You feel fucking imposter syndrome and it's fine.
Yeah, yeah, use it as a sign to say, okay, now this is go time. Like, I need to now, like, now do it anyways. Like, feel the fear and do it anyways and not even try to get rid of it because it's just normal. I love that answer. Yeah, so good. So another question I really love that came in was How can I tap into the feeling of abundance and magnetism even when my bank account specifically doesn't match that energy yet? So I'm not at a point where my business is making good money, or maybe I'm spending more money and it's like, you know, it does not really feel abundant. What would you say to someone like that? And like, how can she tap into that feeling of abundance?
Mm-hmm. Yeah, this is a good question that I think a lot of people probably have. And the way that I would approach this is, again, to to stop trying to like gaslight yourself into being like, I'm abundant, as you're looking at your bank account that has like $2 in it, uh, probably not gonna work, right? So I think that you have to look at abundance from other angles that have nothing to do with money, because as long as you're associating just abundance with money, your brain is just automatically going to go to, but I'm spending so much money and I'm not making enough money, or my account is really low, or I'm, I'm in fear about money. So then all the connections in your brain are just going to go abundance, money, I have none, not abundant. And that's going to be like the old, the end conclusion every single time, which is unhelpful. So if I were in this situation, I would start, I would try to tap into the feeling of abundance, but not through money and actually tap into the feeling of abundance through anything else in your life that feels abundant, right? Like abundance doesn't just mean money. It's like, we've all felt that feeling. Where you have a moment of just pure, like, awe, gratitude. Like, maybe you, like, climbed a mountain, or you see an incredible sunset, or you look up and you're like, the moon! Like, and it's just— it, it's fucking crazy. And it feels— and you just get that feeling where you're like, oh my God, it's like literally, like, suspended in the sky, and we're, like, on a planet, and, like, the universe is so big, and, like, I can't believe I— what is I met you and like we're here together and like we're both human and we love each other. And like we've all had those like existential moments of like, I think that those are moments of abundance of like, I feel so lucky, so grateful, so inspired, so awestruck. Like, oh my gosh, like look at this planet, look at this world, look at this life, these opportunities, this love that I feel, these family members, these friends. Like there's so much abundance in our existence that has nothing to do with money at all. And so if I wanted to be operating in frequency of abundance more often, I would probably stop thinking about money altogether, and I would focus on all the other things in my life that also bring me the feeling and the frequency of, oh my gosh, I have so much, I'm so grateful, this is absolutely incredible. Because we, we all feel that in, in different ways. So yeah, shifting your, your focus from like, I need to feel abundant with money to just, I want to feel the frequency of abundance, period. Because it is the same vibration whether it's about love or health or opportunities or possibility as if it's about money. So I think you'll have more success getting yourself into a true frequency of abundance when you're looking at other areas of your life that actually do feel abundant, where you actually do have proof, where you can actually believe yourself when you tap into it versus just focusing on the money. And then I do think, you know, the money and things like that will start to come as long as you're taking the actions. But now you're in a frequency of abundance rather than scarcity and lack and fear.
Yeah, I love this. I love the idea of also making this an experiment almost, of trying to not like to find abundance everywhere, but not in terms of money, and just really training your mind to, to see abundance in everything else almost. Because yeah, I know, I personally know her. And so I think it's a really good answer for her because she is a little bit like me when we had the one-on-one callback in A&A where I was so obsessed with this goal of making $100K a year. And I remember I literally came on and I asked you like, you know, I'm doing all these things and like, I'm just, I'm almost there, but like, why is it not happening? What else can I do? And like, clearly didn't really feel the abundance that was already there. And, um, I think you said, you obviously suggested a lot of things at the time, but one thing that really stuck with me was when you said, you know, are you, do you trust that you are eventually going to hit the $100K a year? Like, are you, like, do you just know that this is going to happen for you? And I was like, yeah, like, duh, of course I'm going to make $100K at one point. And then you were like, okay, so can you try to lean into this trust a little bit more and actually, You know, I think you mentioned the same thing and you said now, like, find other things in your life that make you abundant other than the money you're making. And this was the best advice that I, like, that you could have given me at the time, because then I started actually implementing it and like not thinking about all of this money anymore and just focusing on the journey and like just doing the work that I love to do. And then it happened without me trying to force it. So I love this advice so much.
Yeah, like it's almost And I think almost even if, if this person wanted to not even think about abundance at all, I think that you could still get there because you could access the frequency of abundance, which is, you know, I think when we feel abundant, we naturally are feeling like grateful. We're feeling in awe. We're feeling safe. Like there's a lot of other words that you could start to use if that's more helpful for you to be like, what are all the ways that I already can feel awestruck, inspired, grateful, safe, okay, then create that. I think your environment does that a lot for you. When you focus on feeling good, things in your life will come easier, point blank period. So whether it's your environment or it's the people that you're spending time with, or, you know, you feel like you want to— you need to like move into a new place or a new city, like it could be something big like that, or it could be something as small as like just on a day-to-day basis, I want to make sure that I'm pouring into my energy and making sure that I feel good and I'm taking care of my state. When you are in a positive state and you're no longer thinking and obsessing over, I need to make the $100K a year, or I need to focus on this abundance because I need more money in my account— when you let that go and you just focus on feeling good, things will come more easily and more naturally. And so maybe it's not even abundance at all, but you use other words so that you can kind of like circumvent that cycle that maybe your brain has been in, where every time you think of abundance, you just go straight to Yep.
100%. I love this. Okay. So one thing I wanted to ask you also, cause you are the queen of that is, uh, now you're like, oh, what, what comes next?
I'm like, what is it?
So many things, Sam. But one thing, um, that I wanted to ask that was also a question from my community was, uh, what helps you create long-term client loyalty and retention? So like what makes people want to stay in your world for months or even years. And I'm saying that you're the queen of this because I know, and I've been a long-term client of you, and I know a lot of women have been in your world and then just like stayed there and continue to work with you in different capacities. So yeah, what would you say to, to this? Like, what helps with that?
Well, I feel like you would have a better perspective than me saying what I think think that it is. Like, you actually being a client that's been in multiple programs over multiple years, like, I don't know, maybe that's an interesting perspective for us to take. Like, what do you think was the reason why you would want to stay in my world for more than just, you know, one quick thing?
Just from my perspective, it's because I, I think I mentioned this earlier in this conversation, but, um, was, yeah, your energy. I wanted to learn from someone that that I feel very aligned with and like I want, like it's so much fun being in your calls. I remember coming onto the AMA calls and you were playing music and we were like dancing before the call. And then I don't know, it just felt good to work with you. And on top of that, it was also helpful. You know, I obviously grew my business and I became more successful. I made more money. So it was just, uh, like everything that I wanted in a mentorship. Or that was important to me that I found that in your services and like in your kind of energy. So that's why I was like, okay, so when you launch top tier, it just, it made sense for me to do that as well. I think that's, that would be my answer, probably Becca's answer as well. I don't know. But yeah, I don't know, maybe from a strategy perspective, there's something like maybe you intentionally design your offer suite. So for that to make sense, or Yeah, I don't know.
Yeah, I think there's like, there's definitely strategy that you could use to kind of create more lifetime value out of a client. Like if we wanted to take the masculine approach and kind of talk about like, you know, creating offers that are all for your ideal client so that they can easily go from this to that to that, which as you know, like my creative process is a little bit like longer and deeper and I like to create these like more in-depth experiences. I'm not, at least at this point in my life, have not been the creator or the coach that's like pumping out 5 new offers every year or has a new offer every single month. I don't really work like that, but I think people that do, that's incredible because it gives more buying opportunities to the people that have already bought from you, right? Like, if I had another offer or mastermind or something that made sense for you, maybe you would be in it right now. But I also, I also can see how like that is a challenge based on the way that I like to create, because I really like to pour everything that I have into my offers and really be intentional with them and make them these really holistic, like, beautiful experiences. I'm not as much of like a mini offer, like, oh, just have this idea and I'm selling it tomorrow sort of thing. And that's something that, you know, I think I've had to accept about myself and my own creative process and like my pace in business. So from a strategy perspective, I think there's even more things that I could be doing if I were creating faster or if if I were making all kinds of offers that made sense for my ideal clients like you, so that you could just buy over and over and over again. Um, because I'm not necessarily doing that, I would say that what has worked in the way that my business is set up the way that it is, is probably— I don't know, I think it's just the fact that I actually care about my clients. Like, I think people— I think people go into, like— I mean, obviously it's, yes, okay, I, I do my best to do really great work. Like, I really pour everything that I have into my offers to make sure that the, you know, the trainings are very detailed, um, that there's lots of like visuals, so many examples. Like, I really try to make the teaching and the education high quality so that you can actually get something from it and create a result. There's that. But like, to me, that's like baseline.
Like, yeah, it should be the norm.
Exactly. Like, if you're not—
but it should be—
if you're not doing something or creating something that actually works and gets people results, then you shouldn't really have a business. So to me, that's just like baseline. But I guess we need to mention it because people are like, oh, let me just like throw this thing together that's like a piece of shit and then like people will buy it. So but that's why you don't, you don't then have like, like a lot of lifetime value with your clients and people that work with you over and over again because they're like, didn't really get anything from that. So that's the first thing. But the second thing is that I just, and I don't know that you can teach this if you don't actually care like, how do you make someone care, you know? So I think that because there's, there's so many spaces that you could enter into where you just feel like a number or nonexistent, or even if it is like a bigger, more scalable space and you're not having one-on-one connection all the time with the mentor, I still think that you can feel the energy of a mentor who really cares and wants you to succeed and wants you to get results and like has that like true heart in their business and really cares about their clients. Um, so I think it's just that, like, if you feel taken care of, if you feel supported, if you feel seen, if you feel like it's a safe place to be because you know that this mentor is never going to do anything like weird or shady or try to steer you in the wrong direction or completely ignore you or let you down, like, if you feel that, then it makes it much easier to make continual investments. Because you feel safe and you feel supported.
Actually trying to get your clients a really good experience, caring about them, being a good person, um, and they will feel that and they trust you.
Which again seems like it should be like a baseline thing.
Yeah, it seems so baseline, but I can tell you, I don't know if you had negative experience, I definitely had, so I know it's not the norm unfortunately, or at least not here. So maybe it's, it's important to mention that. That, that you should actually want to, you know, want to help people and not just, I don't know, make money off of it or look cool or whatever.
Yeah, yeah. But I think like that's where sometimes we let the, like, the hype or the numbers or like the shiny things like override the intuitive feelings that we are getting, which is like you can tell when someone is more of like a, a colder person, or maybe they're more like separated and reserved from their work or their clients, and they're really great at marketing, but like you don't feel like— you can't— yeah, it feels like intangible, like unknowing who they are behind that, you know. I think we feel that on social media a lot where it's like they are killing it, so inspiring, love all this, great at marketing, all the things, but we can sense, at least I can, where I'm like, but who are they? You know, like, who actually is this person? And if you don't feel like you can feel that in your heart, then they're probably not the right person for you to work with. And when we look back on bad investments that we've made, I think a lot of times we go, oh yeah, I kind of did know, I kind of did sort of feel like that there was like that lack like real connection or like heart or personality or whatever. Um, but I got excited by the, the numbers or the shiny things or the marketing or whatever.
Definitely, that resonates with me too, like the shiny objects. Oh my God. To, to maybe wrap this up, one personal question that I also want to bring in here is, um, like what's maybe one thing, um, that you are currently learning or navigating or just really heavily focusing on behind the scenes that people maybe not expect, maybe they do, because, um, you are an open book and I feel like you share a lot of your personal life and your business. But yeah, what's in your focus right now?
Okay, so I'll do like a business one and then I'll do like a personal one. Amazing. So the business one, I guess I don't, I don't think people know this, but like I have a lot of offers. Up my sleeve. So there'll be a lot of new things coming soon, which is really exciting because I think when I said it's gonna be it girl era, some flip just switched and I was like, okay, let's go. So I am just like we talked about, you know, um, not that I'm like whipping them out because I'm not, girl. I've been sitting on this like I've been— I have this like one offer that I've basically been ready to deliver since like like last November, and I'm still like, more slides, more info, more— you know how I am. So, um, but there are new offers coming soon, and there are several of them for the exact purpose that we just talked about of really, yeah, like having more opportunities for people to learn from me and get into my world that aren't just like these really deep dive, like, mastermind experiences. Because I think there's so much when you get into those spaces, you realize there's so much like in this vault of just like— it's like Pandora's box. You just open it up and you're like, oh my God, there's so many trainings, there's so much wisdom, there's so much knowledge. I think that's been one of my probably, uh, biggest, um, I don't know, like challenges, or like not like failures, but like something that I like haven't done that really good a job of is really publicly showcasing all of like the knowledge and like the just the width and the depth that I can go to with people when it comes to mentorship from like a business perspective, marketing, energetics, all the things. I think a lot of that has been saved for my clients, and so my clients know, um, but I don't think that like social media knows. And so I'm like, we need to like put more of this out into the world in a more accessible way so that more people can touch it and feel and experience it. So there's a lot of things being created behind the scenes. There's an evolution happening to the product suite. There's a lot of intentionality with that of like creating things that are only for my ideal clients. No longer, you know, doing this kind of like ladder perspective where it's like beginners, intermediate, advanced. Like, I think that's a really challenging way to like, again, get client ascension or like lifetime value because everyone moves at a different pace. So if you just create everything for your ideal client, they can buy this, then that, then than that, and kind of just like go around and, and snack on like everything. Personal life, I'm planning a wedding, which is like, that's a huge project.
Oh my God, yeah.
I know nothing, like I'm so unprepared. But I also, I don't know if this is like toxic positivity, but, and it's obviously a huge like privilege and a blessing that we've been able to like hire a wedding planner, and there's going to be a day of coordinator and whatever. But like, I'm kind of, we're so not that deep into it yet, but I'm like like, I feel like this— like, they're handling it. Like, I feel like— I feel like this is gonna be easy. Like, I don't know. Yeah, so we'll see. I might— I might start to get, like, stressed and crazy, like, as we get closer, because it's still, like, a year away. But so far, I'm like, I don't know, I feel like they're gonna, like, kill it. And, like, I can just be in receiver mode. I'm just gonna—
I love to tell them. I'm gonna—
I'm gonna send them pictures, I'm gonna send them inspo, and I'm gonna be like, create this, build You got it.
I love this. I love this. It's like your belief of everything always works out for me, so why not? You know, why not?
Yeah. I think I wanna take a, this approach because we know like what you choose to believe is so powerful. So I think I'm just kind of like, I really wanna choose to believe that like the wedding planning experience gets to be like fun and easy. And if I choose to trust my vendors and know that they're experts in what they do, that I don't need to be micromanaging and on top of everything. I have a business to run, like, yep. So we'll see.
Okay. Okay. I love this answer. I'm so excited for you. I'm so excited for all the new offers that are coming. I'm gonna, I mean, I watch your story every day anyway, so I'm definitely not going to miss that, but I'm really excited to see that. And then obviously also watch you grow into your wifey era and everything that's going to come. Oh my God, it's so exciting. So Sam, thank you so much for being here today.
