Quantum Manifesting Love & Money: “You don’t need a morning routine” w/ Paget Kagy
28 Aug 2024 · 64 min
In this episode of the Makeshift Happen podcast, host Samantha Daly interviews frequency healer, quantum manifestation coach, and viral content creator Paget Kagy. The conversation weaves through Paget’s personal journey from a logical math/engineering background at UC Berkeley to becoming a spiritual practitioner and online creator. She shares how relationship patterns acted as mirrors that revealed hidden blocks around commitment, leading her to a pivotal psychic experience that sparked her shift into energetic work. Paget describes a dramatic business quantum leap—scaling from roughly $2,000 a month to $1 million in revenue within 15 months—by uncovering and releasing deep‑level energetic patterns she calls the “secret to manifestation.” The dialogue explores concepts such as unlocking one’s highest timeline, the role of universal tests that force the surrender of old paradigms, and why rigid morning‑routine rituals are unnecessary when authenticity is the true catalyst. Paget also outlines her signature 12‑week program, the Quantum Shift Accelerator, and briefly promotes a separate Instagram‑story sales framework called Sold Out Stories. Throughout, the tone is conversational, enthusiastic, and often reflective, with both hosts emphasizing personal responsibility, self‑trust, and the playful paradox of letting go while taking bold action.

So while recording this episode together, Paget and I actually discovered that we have some mutual industry friends and that we're gonna be at the same event in Denver this week. So by the time that you're listening to this, you might be able to peep us together in my Instagram stories. We're staying at the same hotel, so I'm gonna try to find her and hang out since we really vibed while recording this episode.
I think you guys are really gonna like her.
If you don't already, go give her a follow on Instagram and let her know that you found her from Makeshift Happen. All of her contact details will be in the show notes below, but let's get into this episode.
All right, here we go.

What's up, you guys?
Welcome back to the show.
I'm so excited for this conversation today. Welcome in, Padgett. You have some incredibly viral, hilarious content when it comes to manifestation. You do these certain little bits that I'm sure, you know, you've seen. They've gotten so much traction, so you continue to do them where you kind of pretend to be the universe and have those conversations back and forth. I'm sure some of our listeners have seen your content or know of you, and if not, I'm excited to introduce them to you today. And just before we hit record, we also discovered that we have similar connections and friends in the industry, and that we're actually going to meet in person next week at an event that we're both going to, uh, with someone that we both mutually know. So the stars have really aligned for us on this conversation today. Welcome to the show, I'm so excited to have you.
Yes, thank you so much for having me. I know, it's so funny, it just like, um, it actually brings up the conversation around soul families, right? That we always— that we all come here, um, with certain people that we're just connected to through space and time in different dimensions and different realms, if you believe in that. Um, but to me, that is just proof of that, the fact that we both share some like really similar connections and we happen to meet right before we're actually going to meet with all those connections. So it's just really cool.
Yeah, very wild. I'm sure. Yeah, it's gonna be great, and I'm excited to hang out in person in real life. Nothing beats you know, taking those like online friendships and connections in the space to meeting actually in real life. So that'll be very fun. But I'm excited to learn more about you and kind of your background and, and story. Um, I just think what's so interesting when I was reading through your bio is this transition that you made from someone who studied math at UC Berkeley to then kind of becoming this like viral content creator and manifestation coach. Like I think a lot of people would look at that and be like, how did that happen? You know, like the type of person that studies math is usually very logical. Um, maybe they're really into like science or linear thinking or needing proof of things. So were you— and maybe that's not true for you at all— did you always have this kind of spiritual side, or were you quite logical and then something kind of catapulted you into this, um, different like identity or belief system? What was that transition like?
Yeah, really interesting question. So I have always been very logical, or rather I've always been really interested in understanding the root behind things. Like, I, as a little kid, I was always the kid who was like, why, why, and then why, and then why, and then why, right? So, so that makes sense spiritually, and then it kind of makes sense in the math, in the math, in a way where I'm trying to understand the root behind, like, the algorithms behind, like, what actually creates reality and things like that. Although math was totally— it was totally in the other direction of where I actually wanted to go with that. Um, but that whole journey, it, it was really from— it was really a journey of me as a little kid, right? Knowing who I am, being really creative and really outgoing and really outspoken and really weird and silly, right? To then realizing, okay, that's not really quite working. And then I got bullied as a kid and all this stuff. And then I became this identity of the person that I thought I was supposed to be, which is like math, engineering, go to, you know, UC Berkeley, graduate, get a job, you know, and have the whole safety and security. And then so coming to where I am now, I just see it as like a full circle of like coming back to myself or coming home back to who I actually am. And the math and the engineering and all of that stuff It was an important part of my journey to learn certain things, I'm sure. But that, I see, was more of a detour. Because as a kid, I actually wanted to be an artist. Like, I was actually very silly and all that stuff, and very creative. So, so that's what that journey was, was really like getting a little bit lost, right? And then being like, oh my God, I'm totally lost. Who the hell am I really? And then the journey through spirituality, self development, all of that stuff leading me back more to, okay, who am I actually? And then therefore, like, the silly content and, you know, putting things out there and being more creative and, and the manifestation and, and all of those things.
Yeah, like, it's the— that, that phase of life that we go through where we're kind of like wearing a mask or trying to fit into the box or being the thing that we think is what we're supposed to be because it will lead us to success or make our parents happy or whatever the stories are. And then, you know, I think a huge part of everyone's journey is not becoming something new, but like unbecoming all the stuff that wasn't you so that you can get back to who you always were. So I love that at your core, you know, you've always been this kind of like artistic, silly, outgoing creative, and then you tried to fit this box of what you thought was going to make you successful or make you happy or make you the most money or whatever it is. And then it's like, wait, at a certain point that ends up feeling really heavy. There feels like resistance. It feels like this isn't me. Was there a certain point that you— like, what was the turning point of getting out of that lifestyle? Of— I don't know how far you were into your career in terms of like engineering or things like that, but what was the waking up moment where you were like, ooh, like, I don't think this is really me, or it's not authentic to me, or I just want something different?
Yeah, actually, it's, it's interesting. I mean, there, I, I feel like the universe was trying to knock on my door at several points. But the, the point that I actually really listened, and this is before I was actually into spirituality, is it actually came through my dating life, actually, where I ended up dating someone who was engaged for 6 months. And I didn't even know he was engaged. Right. And I thought I loved this person, I thought I was going to marry this person. And then I find out that he was secretly engaged the entire time. And it totally threw me because just like math, engineering, all of these things that we think we're supposed to be, right, to please other people, or what is going to check off the box in our lives. Um, he checked off all of the boxes of what I thought I wanted in a partner. And so I was leading more with my head than on, obviously, with anything else because he was not available, right? And so when I found out that he was actually secretly engaged the entire time, it really sent me into the I guess the questioning, or we can call it a dark night of the soul, where I was like, wait a second, how is it that someone who was smart, has it together up here, right, somehow manages to get into this kind of situation? Like, I'm not the kind of person who would do that. And that's when I actually went and saw my first psychic, because I was like, how is this happening? Give me clarity. I can't understand this with my mind. And then that's what opened me actually really up to the spiritual, to the energy and all of that stuff. And made me question who I thought I was, or like the value of the identity that I thought that I was, and really break that down to go, okay, well, who actually am I? What do I actually want? You know, what is it in me that literally manifested or created this relationship? And it wasn't just that relationship. It was like I kept on dating people who were very unavailable, unavailable, or would move away, like literally 4 guys in a row all moved away, like, after we started dating, after a few months. I'm like, what are the chances of that? I'm serious. I'm clearly, uh, you know, creating this or manifesting this from, from something, and I needed to figure out what that was. So that really is what led me to really understanding, or the beginning of understanding, energy.
Yeah, it's so interesting. I was going to ask you about this too, of— because you have this video that I, that I find interesting, and I'm sure a lot of other people will too, about like manifesting commitment in dating. And it sounds like that's something that you went through personally, of how do I keep attracting these people that are not committed, or they're not available, or they're actively in another relationship, or they're just gonna like up and, you know, move away and go to another state or another country or something. Because I think, you know, many women say that they want commitment, but, you know, they feel like they're not finding the kind of men who are open and ready for the same thing as them. But the point that you kind of were making in this video is like, you want commitment, but— or you say you want commitment, but you don't want what comes with it. Can you talk about how you experienced, you know, those 4 men who left and maybe even the guy that was engaged being mirrors of something that was going on within you as it relates to commitment, even though you were like, why is this happening? Like, I want commitment.
Totally. Because— and you said that so, so right on, which is that relationships literally are our best mirrors, whether it's a friendship or especially a partner though, right? Um, they're our best mirror showing us something about ourselves. Um, and so what they were really reflecting in me, and I didn't understand this at the time, I didn't have the wherewithal to really understand this even as I approached my spiritual journey, and I really only understood it in retrospect, was I was wearing a mask, right? I was wearing the mask of someone who thought they wanted certain things in their life, the mask of someone who needed a partner who met these certain criteria. And I was wearing that mask of pretending to be a certain kind of person that I thought other people wanted me to be. So what would happen if I'm not even committed to myself and who I truly am? And willing to authentically connect with me at a deeper level, I am going to attract people who are going to have trouble connecting with me at a deeper level as well, right? So their, their inability to connect with me at a deeper level, commit to me at a deeper level, was merely just mirroring my inability, my unwillingness to really go deeper and find out who I truly was. Or am, right? And being able to commit to my true identity as opposed to a mask that I thought I wanted to be, the mask that I like really worked really, really hard to create but wasn't really in alignment with who I was.
Okay, so I have something I think you're really gonna love, and your business is gonna love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram Stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales. But if your Instagram stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on stories isn't about how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing. And the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look-at-me content and calling it authority, sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story selling sequence designed to drive demand and convert sales. We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more. You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is gonna give you 5 high-converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides from authority building all the way to offer flow in less than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under 6 hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy. You already know your offer is incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is. Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next story your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside.
What was the point that you were at when you met your now husband? What do you think it was that changed, or that you allowed yourself to— like, what were the ways that you allowed yourself to meet yourself on a deeper level, to know yourself on a deeper level, to be yourself on a deeper level, that then brought that partnership in?
Totally. So, um, after You know, the, uh, I don't know what to call him, the engaged man, after that, right, went into a total spiral. And then, um, went back into the dating pool in a very, very different way where I like let go. You know how like you can like, um, kind of search with certain criteria on like age and like certain things? And I just let all that go. I'm like, I'm gonna actually just take all that off, okay? Because now I'm just like, I just want to connect with someone. Like, now I don't really care what job they have. I don't care the education. I don't really care the age. I mean, obviously, I'm not going to go after someone who's too young or too old. But, you know, I don't really care about any of that stuff. I just want to meet someone who is a, quote, good person or someone I can connect with. And I remember actually my first date out from that guy, right, because the universe always delivers to us what we need, was this guy who was a lot younger than me. He was like, I don't know, 4 or 5 years younger than me at the time, which is a lot at the time, especially. He was— did not have a stable job or career. He did not meet any of the physical, like, criteria that I had set out at all. But when I met him, I was able to just be myself around him. And I'm like, you know what, this is kind of nice that I don't really have to put up a front like I'm this hyper-ambitious person. That I want all these things in my life. I could just be me and I can just relax into that. And he gave me permission to almost just like accept that. And, and I think it was that relationship where I was able to accept more of myself because I saw— because he was also accepting me from where I was at. I was accepting him for where he was at. That after that relationship ended again, the next date, the very first date after that relationship ended and it ended well. Is when I met my husband, because that relationship was almost the heart opener relationship. It was a relationship where it was like, okay, you have permission now to like open your heart. Not like, not like, um, what you think is being vulnerable, but really being vulnerable, showing who you actually are. I started to crack that open in that previous relationship so that I was energetically ready to meet my husband. Did I have a shit ton of work to do when I met my husband? 100%. That was not easy at all, um, from there. But I was energetically at the point where I was ready to go on the journey with him of like, okay, we are now able to go on this journey even though it's going to be very hard in the beginning. We're both evolved enough and broken down enough, uh, like our masks that we can start to go on this journey. And so I think it's really just about being energetically ready to go on that journey with the other person. By the way, my husband also had come out of a pretty devastating relationship before we met as well. Again, breaking down the barriers, being forced to break down the barriers, being forced to break down who we thought he was on some level. This isn't a conscious thing that happened. It's just what the universe threw us. And then we were able to meet and be like, okay, Now we're a little bit more who we actually are, and we're a little more open to going on this journey together. Okay, let's go on this journey together. And then obviously the journey together after that was very difficult because we had more things to learn, but we were mature enough and energetically ready enough to go on that journey.
How long have you guys been together?
Um, like literally 9 years. So we met 9 years ago, like a month ago. Yeah.
Oh my God. Yeah, I've been together with my partner for 9 years as well. We met in 2015.
Yeah. Yes, yes.
Oh, similar, similar time frames. Yeah. And I saw something that I wanted to share because I know I've done an episode on this at one point on the podcast about— because I'd experienced it myself and I knew that a lot of other people did too— of the deeper that you kind of go in your personal journey, spiritual journey, whatever it is, especially if you're like going deep into this as a, as a career path, as an industry, you know, every day, all day is, is the coaching, it's the healing, it's, it's all of it. That there can be this feeling of like, if you met the person that you're with before you started to like change even more, that you then are like, oh shit, maybe this isn't the right person for me.
Like, I need someone who's more like me.
I need someone who's like more spiritual, or that who meditates in the morning, or that who will do yoga with me, or that who's— you know, you see these people on Instagram that are these power couples and they're both in the industry and in the space together, and you're like, oh my God, like, my partner needs to be like a breathwork coach, or like, yeah. And I think it's like this really common thing that happens. So I shared about it on my podcast and, and just how like I, I find it really beautiful now, and I'm so glad that I stayed with my partner and that we are not the same, and that we are not a constant shadow work conversation with each other, but that there's a lot of other things that, you know, we can be silly together, we can be light together. Like, I don't know, I, I really love that he's not fully immersed in my world, but that he is so into it for me and sometimes with me. Um, but yeah, just kind of having that balance there. So I wanted to hear about your experience with this because I saw you share a little bit about how at one point you felt like your relationship, you know, with your now husband was maybe over and that you also wanted him to be really more spiritual and more sensitive, but that you ultimately realized kind of the issue in that was again something that was coming up inside of you.
Yeah, totally. Yeah. So like when we got together again, that was the spiritual journey happened right after the engaged man scenario. So, so I wasn't like super, super deep in the spiritual journey when I met when I met my husband, Steve, right? And then I was really just starting to really get into it. And so he was kind of part of this whole process of seeing this evolution of me really, really getting into it. So we did not connect on a spiritual level at all in the beginning. And as I was going further and further down this journey of the spiritual and manifestation and all of this stuff, he comes from a family of scientists, so he couldn't even be further from disbelieving in all of this. And so we really butted heads, and I thought, okay, I'm evolving, I'm putting all this time into me evolving and me growing and me becoming a better version of myself. I don't see you doing that, right? And so there was this like ego that came in that was like, I don't think you're going to be able to keep up with me. Like, I don't think you're going to be able to keep up with me. But I forgot, or either I didn't really understand at the time— guys, our relationships are always, ever our mirrors, okay? So if you think someone that you're with is not evolved, there is an aspect of you that is not evolved that is being reflected through them. Okay, or it is literally— so I actually, actually saw this in someone else recently, where she's like, yeah, well, my husband is so different. And, and, you know, he went to Princeton, and he's like, he's just so into that other world. And I'm more in the spiritual world and everything like that. And he's so stubborn, and he won't, he won't give in. And I'm like, and I'm reading her and I'm like, you're incredibly stubborn. Like, he's actually just reflecting the fact that you haven't broken down your own defenses. Right? So that's why it feels like you guys are butting heads, because both of you think that you are right. But actually, if you started to shift your own energy and release some of that stubbornness or that defensiveness in you, actually, I'm pretty sure he would too. And I'm pretty sure you would actually come to a much better balance. And that's what happened with me and Steve when I actually just let go of, are we going to stay together? Do we have to— do I have to make this decision that we're going not be right for each other. And I was like, look, I'm just gonna focus on me. I'm just gonna focus on my evolution, just focus on my growth. Don't project it onto him. Just be in my own lane. That actually, first of all, he started being more open to it, and that I actually truly now was ready for my true evolution journey because I didn't need him to come along with me. Because that's a big thing, guys. If you feel like you need other people to come along the journey with you that is based in some level of fear. You do not need anyone to come along the journey with you. You go along the journey. If they are meant to come along the journey with you, they will come. They will walk with you. You don't need to force them. You don't need to convince them. That's not going to work. So that's really when my evolution really started, is when I said, okay, I don't need him to come with me, and that he actually just ended up walking with me. It looks different, right? I'm sure it is with you and your partner, it looks different for both of you, but you guys are both growing together, right? You guys both know how to grow together. It just may— maybe you communicate it differently, and some of it does converge. Like with me and my husband, it definitely does still converge, and he's getting more open to this work and, and all of that stuff. Um, but it was hard. Um, you know, there were many points when I felt like, yeah, like, this is over. We're too different. We have two different, like, completely different ways of looking at life, and that's just not— we just can't share the same the same space together, right? Um, and then I realized again, it was just my own stubbornness. It was my own, like, not being able to appreciate him as a person. Because unconditional love, that's what it is. It's not conditioned based on, like, they speak the same language as you, right? In terms of spiritual development or growth, it's not conditioned on, like, do they like the same TV shows you do? Do they like the same— talking about the same things as you do all the time? It's it's like actually being able to fully appreciate that other person as the human being that they are, right? And, and if you're not able to do that, then yeah, maybe there is a fundamental flaw in the relationship. But I would definitely challenge you first to go, well, can I actually just appreciate them from— for where they are at? Because I guarantee you that's probably going to open them up more than like forcing them to see something a certain way, you know?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think the key is like not needing them to come. At least it was for me. Like, I'd never felt like I needed my partner to do what I was doing or to be into it. I just was really into it. And then I'm sure, as with your case, which we'll talk about in a second, of all these like quantum leaps and how things really started changing for you. And it's like, people are like, whatever they're doing, is working on some level, you know. And it's kind of like, you just be the lighthouse, be the living proof. And then they're kind of like curious of like, oh, what is that thing, you know, that you're doing? I'll never forget one time when my partner asked if he could do a manifestation bath ritual with me, where we were literally like making like a little, uh, honey and milk like spell and like putting it into the bath, like crystals and shit. And we're like sitting in the bath and he's like, okay, tell me what to visualize. And I'm like, I think I, I think I lighthouse'd really hard because this is like next level of like— also, my partner is, uh, he's Spanish. We met when I was studying abroad in Spain, so he comes from a really traditional, you know, Catholic background, country. He's always been like super open to all of my things and non-judgmental ever, but it was also just really interesting seeing this like really big Spanish man, like, tucked into, like, a small European bathtub. Like, tell me what to visualize.
That's amazing. I haven't gotten— I haven't gotten there with Steve just yet. He will never admit this publicly. He does ask me to work on him sometimes, but that's about it. Like, he's never ever going to do a manifestation ritual, ever. Like, I'm like, hey, do you want to go with you? Nope. Absolutely not. I'd rather just sit and watch my sports. Okay. Yeah.
But it, yeah, it's, it's refreshing and it's nice to, to have differences and to, I like, to your point again, is like you, you can sit in that place of being like, my partner doesn't see the value in my beliefs or what I'm doing. And it's like, but are you seeing the value in their beliefs and what they're doing? Cuz you're basically doing the same thing back to them by being like, oh, he went to Princeton or he's too this or he's. Just so, you know, unevolved, and he's just into sports, and he is not conscious. And it's like, well, you're being really judgmental and rude, kind of. And so then if you're receiving that back where they're being judgmental and rude about your crystals or your tarot decks or Reiki or whatever it is, then it's like, look, it's because— yeah, it's the mirror.
Absolutely. That's so true. That is so true. Um, yeah, exactly.
Yeah, I want to, I want to talk. I alluded to this just a second ago, but I want to kind of get into because like I feel like quantum shifts and quantum leaping is like one of your big themes. It's something that you teach a lot about. You have a program around it. And I read this part of your story where in August of 2022, you were barely making like $2,000 a month in your business. And within just like a 15-month time frame, you leaped to $1 million in revenue. So, you know, this like massive kind of illogical, nonsensical leap. You say that it happened because you kind of discovered this certain secret to creating quantum shifts that would normally take 10+ years. We can kind of condense that time down and do it faster. What was it that you discovered or that really changed the game for you in 2022 to kind of make that happen.

Yeah, so, uh, going back to what we were talking about earlier is the unbecoming like, right, of who you thought you needed to be, right? So, so that was really what the process was, um, is I actually got to a really, really low point emotionally in order for me to open myself up to the ultimate journey that I went on, right, to create the quantum shift. But it was this really, really low place where nothing was working for me. Of course, got— and, and so guys, if you reflect on a place that you have been, that has been very low for you, it was probably actually a portal or was actually an opening for you to shift, for you to welcome in some sort of shift, um, right? And whether you say yes to it and you take it and, and you're observant enough to see it, that's, that's on you, that's your own free will. But, um, I was in a really, really low place. I was really frustrated because I wasn't really getting anywhere. And, um, and, and then I remember I was like pacing around in my garage like to myself because I don't want my husband to see or anything, And I was just really frustrated. I was sweating and I was like, just like, why the eff isn't this working? What's wrong with me? All of this stuff. And then I felt like this rush of energy just come through my body. And it was like this knowing that came through me that was like, you are the creator of your reality, right? And it wasn't like a voice necessarily in my head, but it was just this knowing like, hello, you created all this. You're creating this right now. Like you're creating your reality. And then just as soon as it came, it just left. And I was like, what the heck was that? I thought I was actually having a heart attack. And then, but then I knew at that point, if I can connect back with whatever that knowing was, that like, you're creating your reality, then you can create your reality, you can become the creator of your reality. And that's what actually started me on this whole journey to discovering what I call is the secret to manifestation, which is really just releasing everything that you are not at like a DNA level, at the highest levels of frequency in your field, releasing all of the patterns that are keeping you stuck, that are holding you back, that are putting you in these holding patterns of repeating the same cycles over and over and over again, stopping your evolution of self. And, and actually, as you release those things, you become more of who you were always meant to be. So you can actually attract the life that you were meant to live. So it's not really It is a quantum jump in that when you accelerate this change of releasing and releasing and releasing at the higher levels of consciousness, that accelerates the change. But what it really is, is a fast track to you just becoming the version of yourself that you were always meant to be, right? It's not like becoming someone else. It's not like quantum jumping through wormholes and then like landing and like all of a sudden your hair color is different. It's like, oh my God, I've arrived. Home to my power that was always there, but it was all the energy that was like gunking it up that made you forget how powerful you actually are. And so when you release all that gunk, you remember. And then all of a sudden, when you start to remember more and more— and that becomes a process of remembering more and more and more and more of the limitlessness within you— that's when you have the energetic leverage that I call it to be able to actually create results in your reality and feel yourself creating those results. Like, feel the intentionality of it and feel the collaboration with your higher self in it because you're more connected.
Would you— so would you say it's kind of like a form of radical authenticity? It seems like what you're talking about is stripping yourself away from or letting go of all the things that are not you, not core to you. All of the masks, all of the fakeness, all of the boxes that you're trying to fit in, all of the desires that you think you should have, all of the people that are not serving you. Like, is, is that what we're talking about here? Like the physical kind of like unraveling, letting go of all the things that are not you, capital Y, you, whatever that means, kind of like on a soul, like core level?
Yeah, totally. So the way I would see it is anything in your physical reality that is showing up as less than what is ideal for you. It's just represented by an energy in your field that you're holding on to. So everything in our physical reality is just a projection of something in our deeper energetic field, right? So that bad relationship or that bad career or that bad whatever, quote unquote bad negative thing, it's just a reflection of some energy that you're holding on to because you're just a projector of your reality. Like literally. And so what I mean by releasing who you are not, yes, it's going to look like on a physical level, oh my gosh, those friends fell away. Oh my gosh, that relationship fell away. Ah, that career fell away. All of that thing. But that, but those things falling away are just a reflection of the fact that you've released something that is inauthentic in your deeper core energetic field. So let me just give you an example because, um, it's just something that applies to most people. Like when we get into our 30s and 40s, especially, like we start to age, right? And this is what I see with a lot of people that I work with, but they start to age because what's happening is they're almost like energetically turning into, let's say, like their parents or like a parent or like a grandparent or something like that. So I literally actually, when I see someone, I'll see, oh, you have your grandmother in you, even though I don't know what their grandmother looks like. I just know that it's not who they are. Like, so energetically in their DNA, they actually— they're actually storing energy that they have inherited. Like, I know this sounds kind of wacko and crazy, but it's a real thing. And actually, as they release that energy, um, they start to even feel lighter. They start to feel more youthful. They have more energy. They feel, quote, more like themselves. They feel better in their skin.. And it wasn't something that they did really on a mental level. It was just something that happened at a higher level of, um, what I call consciousness in their field. So, so that's basically the work that I do is I, I just help to open up those higher states, states of being for people.
Is this, is this through like energetic work? Is it through subconscious reprogramming? Is it through hypnosis? Like what are, what are the modalities? Cuz you mentioned when they release that energy of their, let's say, grandmother, the, the other shifts kind of just start to click into place. But how does that initially happen if it's not happening on a, like, a conscious level? Because I know you've said, like, we can't think or emotion our way to change because those things aren't deep enough. So what is, what is deep enough then?
So I want to caveat that by saying that I am not saying that emotional work, mindset work subconscious programming, all that stuff is not working. I don't want to say that it does not work because there are people where it does work for them. But what I argue is the people that it works for and it's highly effective for are the people who energetically at a deeper level are already aligned actually to those possibilities that they're able to unlock with subconscious programming. Okay. So what I'm talking about is actually unlocking a whole nother level of possibility. And in order to do that, you have to change at a deeper energetic level, which is like what I call your core energetic blueprint level. And so the way that you go about doing that, I mean, it sounds simple, but it's actually kind of, it feels tough when you're in the process of it because you have to detox a lot of garbage. But it's really about elevating your level of frequency. Like when you get exposed to higher levels of frequency, let's say. And maybe you can do this through really deep states of meditation. Maybe you can do this because, you know, you went on some medicine journey that took you to really high states of being or something. Although I would caution against that if you're not ready, because it can get really disorienting. But, but like when you're exposed to higher levels of frequency, what happens is that it's literally like you get a energetically like a higher perspective on yourself, and you're able to actually get the opportunity to release energy patterns that are stored in your field at those higher levels of frequency. So it goes beyond the subconscious. And when you do that, that's when, like, you literally start to change your energetic identity. Like, people will come to you, like, a year later or 2 years later and go, whoa, you're not even the same person that you were 2 years ago, because you're not. Like, you've literally changed your dimension of self at an energetic level. And then when you do that, use the subconscious programming, the mindset, the emotional work, all that stuff, it works better. It actually helps you even open up that possibility even further, right? But like changing your dimension of self, that's like a whole other game that I like to talk about, I guess.
How do we unlock our highest timeline? Is this kind of a similar thing that we're talking about here? Like for someone who like, you know, we say this all the time, like our highest timeline, But like, for someone who's like, what the fuck does that even mean? Like, what is our— what is our highest timeline and how do we start like accessing it?
Yeah, so, um, your highest timeline— and some of you guys might have already— might have gone through something like this and you didn't even realize that you went through it. Like a huge awakening, a huge transformation of self where you feel like you're a different identity of self than you were before. Right? Some of you have gone through this and you didn't even know that you were going through this. But basically accessing your highest timeline to me is exactly the process that I was talking about. Because when you just connect with your core essence, like the fractal of source that runs through you, you are limitless. Like you do have all the power. You do have all the ability to create whatever you want. But the biggest thing that actually caps us or holds us back from shifting into knowing completely how powerful we are. We don't want to know it all at once. It's a little too scary. Um, but what actually stops us from that is our fear of knowing our power. That's actually the biggest thing that stops people from going to those higher spaces is the fear of knowing their power, which sounds really freaking weird, but it is a real thing. Because it's actually kind of scary when you know how much you're actually responsible for, because then you start to see through, quote, the matrix of this reality. And that is scary. Like, we came here to have a human experience. Like, seeing through this matrix can feel a little, a little creepy sometimes, right? So, so we're like, okay, let's hone it back. Like, I don't want to know I'm too powerful. Like, give it to me in doses, right? Like, let me have a better life, but like, I don't want to know it all at once. That is, that's too frightening. But the more you're actually able to release that fear and be willing to actually come into your power and see your power, like, the, the faster you can actually shift, the faster you can actually come into that change.
In terms of you, like, you personally, habits and rituals, is there anything that you like to do on a daily or weekly basis that kind of contributes to your personal growth, magnetism, manifesting, you know, the next level of your life or business? Um, are there any things that you enjoy? Are you pretty— I feel like I'm so uninteresting when it comes to routines. Like, I'm— I switch it up all the time. I'm like, you guys don't want to see my morning routine because half the time it's like literally like it's not anything— I'm not the girl that's like with the 2-hour morning routine. But I love hearing about other people that are, you know, obviously doing incredible work and creating amazing shifts in their own lives and for their clients. So as we talk about quantum leaping and manifesting, do you have any like certain habits or rituals that, that you love and that you frequent?
Um, I'm on the same page as you where like I literally have like, uh, maybe people aren't gonna like hearing this, but I, I don't really have any rituals or anything, um, that I really subscribe to on a daily basis. Um, The one thing I will— the one thing I do do for myself every single day without realizing it, and it's not a ritual, it's just something that I practice because I teach this, I have to, is, um, I ask myself, what am I being asked to release right now? So whenever I get hit with a challenge or something challenging shows up in my reality, I'm like, okay, I'm clearly creating this. Why am I creating this? So I even— I ask myself that question., and I'm not going to get the answer on a mental level, but I, I put the question out there so that my higher self can answer it at some point, right? So I'm intentionally trying to lead myself to being able to answer it, and then I ask myself, okay, what am I being asked to release now? Am I being asked to release my control? Am I being asked to release more fear? Am I being asked to release, um, my lack of trust? Am I being asked— what am I being asked to release right I'm asking now? Like, that is— because that's the basis of the work that I do. That is what I ask myself, like, every single day if I'm being hit with a challenge or if I'm being hit with an interesting situation. I'm like, how is this, A, reflecting something in me? B, what am I being asked to release or learn right now? So that's my ritual. I don't— sounds a little weird— I don't meditate every day. I don't journal. Every day. I really should be doing more of this stuff. I do hot yoga like a few times a week.
But it's so interesting because it's like— because we're on the same page, so it's like, should we, or is that just like something that we think because it— again, because it fits the— fits the description of like someone who like does this type of work? I mean, of course those things are great for you. Like, we would all benefit from meditating more often, no doubt about it. But I definitely go back and forth in my head too of like, should I be the person that has the 2-hour morning routine that does the cold shower and the, you know, whatever else? And, and I'm just like, no, I, I'm, I think I'm good.
Yeah, like, like, think about it, guys. Like, because it's not just about the things you do, it's about like where you're coming from when you do it. If you feel like you need to do that stuff in order to perpetuate whatever you're trying to perpetuate or create whatever you're Like, that's what happens when you can't do it. Exactly. That's exactly my point. Like, I'm all about, no, just be it. Just be it. So that way you don't have to do anything to be it. You just are it. You just exist in it. Like, I don't have to like hype myself up in order to go on a call. Like, I don't have to do any of that stuff. Just be it, right? And then like, if you want to journal because you want to take that time for yourself, then do that. That's amazing, right? But if you're doing it out of like, oh, I need to check these off my list, otherwise I'm not set up for the day— what are you setting yourself up for?
Yeah, holding you back, right? The checklist itself is setting you up for guilt or shame or, or feeling like you failed at the outset of your day.
Exactly, exactly, 100%. I think people do that, and I'm like, okay, that's literally going backwards.
Yeah, yeah, wild. It's funny because I feel like I just inherently was that way, and then I felt like I shouldn't be this way of just kind of like moving through life and doing things when I feel called to do them, but not having structure or routine. And, and exactly as you said, I felt like, oh, maybe I should— I should be the person that wakes up, that meditates at 5 AM, that, you know, does a visualization every day of my future life, whatever, whatever. And then I was just like, but like, that's a should to me. That's not, that's not what's like naturally coming forward. And I tried to do it. I tried to create the structure and I'm like, okay, I'm gonna do this, this, and this every day. And it does not feel good for me. For me, it does not feel good. So I'm like, oh, I'm doing something that feels like an obligation. It feels heavy. Um, it feels forced. Why would I put myself in that energy every day thinking that it's going to create miracles in my life?
Look, like, if it doesn't feel expanded to you, guess what? It's not going to lead to expansion. Yeah. It feels expanded to you and you're doing it from a place of expansion and it expands you even further, then, then do it. But if it's not and it's making you contracted and like making you, oh gosh, I have to wake up at 5 AM. Like, I don't, I don't do any of that stuff. I don't. Yeah, yeah.
And then to the point that we were saying earlier about what happens when you can't do those things. Yeah. Um, I think it was Alex Hormozi who said something, of course, crazy polarizing about this because he's so extreme for a reason, you know. He's great at marketing, so, you know, you take everything with a grain of salt. But it was just, he, he was in a, in a funny way kind of saying, you know, if you want to make more money, like, stop having such a long morning routine and basically just get to work. Like, which is something, it's That's so Alex Coded. But basically he was saying like, if, if I believed that I needed to do 55 things before I could be successful for the workday, I, I would, I would be creating limitations for myself for when I'm not able to access those things. What happens when you're traveling or you get thrown out of routine or something else comes up in your personal life which prevents you from being able to do those things? And I think people without realizing do build this belief system then of like, because you'll see they'll, they'll go on vacation, they'll be like, I just like haven't been able to be productive because I've been so out of my routine, and I just really, I really need to like get back to like this, that, and the other thing. And it's like, you've decided that you are less powerful when you don't have 2 hours in the morning to do all these very specific rituals, whereas I prefer to walk through the world believing and knowing that I, I attract magic everywhere I go, no matter what I do. I can wake up and, and do nothing but eat my breakfast and get on a call with a client and like, I'm good to go.
Exactly. And isn't that like a more expanded way to be and live? Like, basically the more you can take off the conditions to your greatness, the more consistent you're gonna be able to be. Take off the conditions. Like, what conditions are you placing on being able to do this or being like, and literally, I'm, I'm sure you, you understand this, right? It's like, You wouldn't have been able to start your podcast or do all the things that you were doing without saying, deciding that, oh yeah, I'm ready, I'm gonna do it. Or I'm not quite ready. Or what is ready? Like, what is the question of being ready? I'm just going to do it. There is no ready.
Yeah.
Ready's a lie.
Yeah.
I always say like, ready isn't a feeling, it's a choice.
So, oh, exactly.
You don't come into the feeling of like, oh yes, finally I'm ready. But you, you can decide like, I'm going to move. Regardless. And that's like the choice of readiness for sure. Okay, I want to talk about this idea of, um, universal tests because I haven't actually talked about this in such a long time. I feel like this was something that I— like, years and years ago, I remember being like, oh my gosh, it makes so much sense. I think I read, uh, Gabby Bernstein's book The Universe Has Your Back, and she talks about universal tests in that. And I was also going through my first kind of big experience of having a universal test while knowing what it was. Obviously, yeah, all the time, but I didn't know what it was until I I was reading that book and I was like, oh my God, I have a universal assignment.
Fuck.
I was like, oh my God, like, I have to, like, I have to pass this test. So, and what is your perspective of universal tests? What might they look like? Why do they come when we're like very close to a manifestation? Even though it's frustrating, why is it a good thing?
So universal test, it's, it's really just your higher self asking you the question, are you ready to become the person who can step into the manifestation? Are you ready to become the person who can step into the next level of reality that you want? And hey, by the way, that person is going to be more trusting. That person is going to have more faith in his or her own abilities. That person is resilient. That person knows when to say no. That person also knows when to say yes, right? And so to me, all universal tests have been summed up just in this way, which is, are you willing to let go of your old conditions or your old self? Are you willing to let go of the old paradigm? Are you willing to let go of the old paradigm? So a lot of the times, for instance, if someone, um, is, is changing and shifting, an old friend or an old boyfriend or girlfriend comes, comes up out of nowhere and they're like, hey, I just want to reconnect. Hey. And they represent the old version of self. It's not the person. It's not about the relationship that you had with them. It's not about any of that, even though it feels like it. It's not about any of that. It's not about it. It's about the paradigm or the identity or the energy that they represented at a certain point in your life. And you are going to be tested. Do I say yes or no? And I'm not going to tell you what the answer is. Only you will know in your specific situation. So I'm not going to answer this universally. But if, let's say, the answer— if, let's say, you're being tested to go, no, I no longer want that paradigm in reality, in my reality, then you would say no. Nope, sorry, I don't, I don't have the time, I don't have the space for that. Okay, the same thing could happen even when it comes to business or, um, career or whatever it is. Let's say you've created success from an old paradigm that wasn't serving you, or it's no longer— it's no longer serving you, okay? That there is a new paradigm that's available to you that you can't see yet. Then you are going to be tested. You are going to be asked to let go of the old paradigm without knowing that the new paradigm even exists yet. And that's going to feel freaking scary because you have— you have built everything on the old paradigm. So like, that might mean, okay, I'm gonna have to lose some money. That might mean, right, okay, my business is gonna go down for a little bit. Okay, like, I'm gonna— right, do you see what I'm saying? But, but, but you will know because you just have to ask yourself this question: was the old way of being and doing in that working for me? Was that in the highest version or the highest vision of what I have for myself? Was that really truly serving me? And if the answer is no, then you know that you are being asked to let go of that thing. That is a universal test to me, right? And being able to take that leap into the complete unknown, like an Indiana Jones— you can't see the step, you have no idea what it's going to look like, you're scared that it doesn't even exist, and it might not actually, right? But you go comforting And what I mean by it might not— let me, let me caveat that, okay? What I mean by it might not, it might not in the way that you want it to look. Yeah. But do you know what it could be? Oh my God, there is that other opportunity from left field that I haven't even been paying attention to and seeing because I was too busy with all this other stuff. And it come— and I can only welcome it in from left field if I let go of And that thing from left field is so much better, so much greater than what I thought that I wanted with my life.
Do you think, do you think that universal tests can sell? Because what you're speaking about is what a lot of us have experienced is where something starts to feel like there's, there starts to be this like rising of, of resistance and it's like, oh, this doesn't feel like it's working anymore, but I gotta make it work. But it doesn't feel like it's working anymore, but I gotta push through. And then it's it's the, the recognizing of like, okay, this is probably something I'm being asked to let go of. But because we don't see what the next avenue is, or the next relationship, or the next career path, or the next direction in our business, we're like, I can't let go. So we grip on and we hold tight to something that is not serving us, it's not meant for us. And that's part of the test, right? Which is like, are you going to show up as that old— like, within that old paradigm, or are you going to be able to recognize this is not actually of service to my higher vision that I have for myself? So I've got to be able to let go. And there's a huge element of like trust and faith that comes into that, as you're speaking about, which is being able to let go without seeing what the next thing is. And I think that's what's so terrifying for so many people. But I wanted to get your perspective of if you feel like sometimes the universal tests manifesting can show up for people as these kind of like, uh, deaths which are leading to the rebirth. Like, sometimes it's really intense, the crumbling that people can experience where they feel like— and, and maybe that comes from not listening, because I know we've all experienced that before too, where we, we know we're getting a sign, the universe is speaking to us, but we're scared. So we're like, no, I don't want to hear you right now, it's okay, it's— I'm just gonna ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore. And then it gets like stronger, and then it's almost like this mass destruction where it's like, I'm no longer going to allow you to drive this ship because you are going to crash, so I'm gonna crash for you in a different way first so that I can save you in this, in this weird way. Can you speak to that, like, death and rebirth kind of cycle? Because I feel like— I don't know if you've had conversations with people, but I feel like there's a lot of that happening right now. At least I know a lot of people in my life friends, and they're like, wow, this year has been a big, a big kind of like crumbling or death and rebirth.
100%. Yes, this year is a big— like, I knew, I've been calling this for the past couple years. I'm like, 2024 is gonna be a doozy. Um, yes. So, so think about it like a toxic relationship where if it seems really, really nice and for all intents and purposes, but then like, oh, I got a really big red flag. Oh, that really was not that was a really big red flag, okay? But you're like, you know what, let's just cover that up for now because things are going well and, you know, I have, I have to worry about all these other things, so let's just take care of that later, okay? And then another big red flag, okay, so let me just ignore it. I'm just gonna take care of it later. Then what's obviously going to end up happening? Oh my God, they just cheated on me and had an affair, and oh my gosh, my entire reality is now completely crumbling because like I wasn't paying attention because I didn't see it. And now it has to fall away. I can't just ignore it. I can't put it under the rug. It's the same exact— it's the same exact thing that the universe will do in every single aspect of your life. So let's say in a business, right, where it's like, okay, I know that like I'm tolerating certain things that like don't feel that good or I don't really like it or it's not really working for me and this isn't really sustainable and it's not really working for me. And then you're like, but, but come on, because like it's still making me money, so let me just continue, right? So you just continue, continue. It gets worse, it's worse, worse, worse. You're like, okay, but then it'll, it'll get better after this point. It's like gets worse, gets worse, gets worse. And then you don't listen. And then so it's just like fucking crumbling, right? It'll crumble because it's basically saying you cannot— like, we are not even going to— like, your higher self is coming in to protect you, to go we ain't even gonna give you the incentive at all for you to fucking think you can continue. So we're gonna have to take away your pacifier and be like, okay, you have nothing now. Okay, so now you have no choice but to rebuild in the way that you know you can and then the way that you know that you want to. Okay, now the scary part of that is obviously because we have all the questions, well, can we rebuild? Like, is that even possible? Like, how are we going to do it? All that stuff. But if you think about everything else that has ever manifested in your reality, you didn't really see it coming, or you couldn't have planned it. It just happened, right? You were just able to do it. It just had its own momentum. It had its, quote, own life, which was really created by you. But the only thing that you can do in that scenario is just let it crumble let it crumble to the ground, right? Let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go, let go. There's nothing else to let go of. Okay, total destruction of ego. All right, okay, I admit it wasn't working, wasn't working out for me. All right, I let all of it go. Okay, now what? And then you're going to be able to— you have to trust that, because this is why people don't want to let go. They don't trust that they can rebuild. You have to trust trust that on the other side of the crumble, you can rebuild. You did it before, you can do it again, and you're gonna do it better. But you have to trust that. You have to trust in yourself. That's what I'm saying about the— a lot of times, especially at the higher stages, the biggest test is, can I trust myself? The biggest test you're going to be given is, can I trust? Can I trust? Can I trust? Can I let go? Can I trust? Right? And that's where we fumble is because we're like, no, because what is there? What else is there? I don't know anything else but this, right? But that's what happens the higher you go. And it, and it's scary, but it is happening for your best interest, you know? Yeah.
Yeah. It's so funny cuz I always say my number one strategy in business is self-trust. Cuz I think that like it has to be. It has to be the foundation of everything. Like, oh, how did you do it? I don't know, self-trust. How did you decide to let go of that program? I don't know, self-trust. How did you decide to, you know, go all in on this project or invest a bunch of money in new team members? Self-trust. Like, feel the nudge. And I think that's why it's so important for everybody. It doesn't matter if you're a business owner or not, but especially entrepreneurs. It's like, you've got to have some sort of connection to your higher self, God, Source, Universe, whatever, whatever you call it. But it's like, you're not going to be able to make the moves that are required if it's just you in your little logical pea brain of a human. Like, there's got to be something bigger. So that's why I'm so big on, you know, fusing the strategy with the spirituality, because I just don't— I, I don't see how you could really fulfill your— yes, you can be wildly successful, but even if you were wildly successful, I believe there's probably more for you. There's probably even more potential that you have not tapped or unlocked if you've not, you know, opened yourself up to that yet, and you've just been in kind of this logical mode.
100%. Like, that, that was so well put. If you don't have the trust then you are not going to see those bigger moves. You just won't, right? Because you don't have any trust that there is anything bigger out there. You just know what you know. And that's where people cap out, is where they just go, okay, this is all I know and this is how it's always gonna be, and this is the only way that it can be for me. And that's it.
And there's gotta be risk. We know that, like, to get to the next, like, that's the game, right? There's always risk involved, which is another thing that we're so averse to. Like, oh no. And I think it's so funny too, cuz like you can see it in yourself of, you know, you, we've We've obviously both taken really big risks in our lives and then the next one comes up, the next opportunity for risk and you're like, God, like I really, is this really the game that we have to keep playing over and over again? The answer is yes. The answer unfortunately is yes. It just, it just keeps going.
It literally, like guys, I'm sorry for you guys listening to this, but like if you are meant for bigger and more, sorry, you are gonna have to play this never-ending game of letting go. And risk and stepping into the unknown. You're just gonna have— it's just, that's just what it is. That's what life— that's what life is. So better just accept it now.
Yeah, exactly, exactly. Find, find joy and humor and fun and levity in the journey because it just keeps unfolding and there's deeper and deeper layers, and all the problems that you thought that you solved are, you know, come with a whole set of new ones and And yeah, I think that's, that's life because otherwise we would just stagnate. So yeah, so good. So good. Thank you so much, Padgett, for coming on today and sharing your wisdom and just having a really awesome, dope conversation.
