RICH GIRL SUMMER: The Mid-Year Reset That Rewires Your Energy + Income
23 Jul 2025 · 36 min
In this episode of the Makeshift Happen podcast, host Samantha Daly delivers a high‑energy, no‑BS guide for entrepreneurs—especially ambitious women—who are feeling the "mid‑year wobble," a slump of motivation and clarity that often hits around May‑July. She frames the slump as a natural seasonal dip and leverages the astrological shift into Leo season (July) and the numerological significance of the 7th and 8th months to position this period as a powerful reset window. Daly then walks listeners through a concrete five‑step mid‑year reset: (1) clear physical space to free mental energy, (2) audit and revamp goals with bite‑sized, time‑boxed milestones, (3) enlist a workout buddy for accountability and identity reinforcement, (4) rewrite the calendar from scratch to align with current energy and add buffers, and (5) replace one energy‑draining habit (e.g., doom‑scrolling) with a healthier alternative such as a phone‑jail or habit‑stacked walking. Throughout, she interweaves personal anecdotes, nostalgic summer imagery, and motivational language, urging listeners to adopt a "hot‑girl summer" mindset of boldness, playfulness, and magnetism. The episode also promotes her paid offerings— the "Your Year of More" masterclass, the "Sold Out Stories" Instagram‑story sales system, and the high‑ticket "Top Tier" mastermind— positioning them as tools to accelerate revenue to multi‑six or seven figures. Additional tactical advice includes daily posting, ruthless messaging audits, clear sales planning, investing in HighLevel mentorship, and leveraging Black Friday sales. The episode ends with a listener‑of‑the‑month contest and calls to action for reviews, social engagement, and program enrollment.

What's up, you guys? Welcome back to the podcast. I feel like we need a little mid-year reset. We are at that point in the year where we're like, okay, there's only 6 months left. Who do I want to be? Where I'm at with my goals? I just feel like we need a little refresh in our energy. And I was really inspired to record this episode because I heard a creator talking about this idea of the mid-year wobbles. And the mid-year wobbles is kind of like this mid-year funk where you feel like you're doing it all, but you're also not really moving the needle. So you're like occupied, busy, overwhelmed, but at the same time you kind of feel like you're not getting that much closer to your goals or who you want to be or the revenue that you had projected for the year for your business. And it's also this kind of space where you doubt and second-guess everything that you're doing, that you're creating, that you're posting. And yeah, it's just like a vibe of overthinking, comparison, Maybe the disorganization is setting in at this point in the year for you. Things have kind of, you know, like we are, we are well and truly beyond any inspiration or motivation that we had in January. So now that that has faded, um, your mindset might be feeling a little bit defeated and maybe the vision board is no longer really visioning. The beliefs are waning. So if you've felt like that, don't worry. We're gonna talk about how to reset that energy and get fired the fuck up for the rest of the year. So let's dive in.
Welcome to the Makeshift Happen podcast. I'm your host, Samantha Daly, entrepreneur, life coach, and your no BS bestie, here to bring you all things mindset, manifestation, and personal development. This podcast is designed to help you expand your mind and uplevel your life. So turn the volume up and roll the windows down if you're coming along for the ride. Let's go make shit happen.
So what I've noticed for myself is that typically around May, I would say, is when I get to a point where I'm like, okay, wait, what the fuck am I doing, right? And I think there can be this disappointment after quarter one because I feel like quarter one has this sort of full start energy where everyone thinks that their life is gonna fully take off and go full throttle, and you're gonna really start shifting who you are and how you're showing up and everything that you're doing right at the start of January. But the reality is that most of us don't really start implementing changes in the new year until a little bit later down the line. Like, January kind of is this weird void where you don't actually get that hard start that maybe you were thinking about when you were like making your vision board or like pinning things on Pinterest essentially over Christmas vacation. So then you kind of like fall into this energy, and I feel like quarter 2 is where you start to coast a little bit because like what's happening in quarter 2 to give you any motivation, you know? It's like, oh, like late winter vibes, at least if you're in the Northern Hemisphere, going into spring. It's kind of rainy and moody. I don't know, I could be making all of this up, but if you resonate, let me know because I swear this is a thing. But then you get to the middle of the year and you feel like, oh shit, like I'm— I might not hit my goals this year. And so maybe there's been this slight lull in your momentum. At least I always feel that around April, May, the spring months. And then June comes and I'm like, oh shit, the halfway point of the year is right around the corner. I better figure out what's going on here. And then July is where I'm like, all right, full throttle, let's go reset. Which is why I wanted to record this episode, because I want to talk about that. But to describe this sort of feeling that I get into in my mid-year wobbles, it's kind of like the belief in the possibility of your goals coming true this year might be fading a little bit And so then you kind of find yourself like renegotiating, right, of like what this year was really meant to be about. And you start like changing almost what you had set out to do at the start of the year and being like, well, actually, I think this year for me is about, you know, it's more about relaxation, or it's more about presence, or it's more about— and like, those things are great, but sometimes I do think that we lie to ourselves in order to cushion the blow of not facing the fact that, yeah, maybe we are not moving at the pace that we need to be moving at in order to get where we said that we wanted to go. And so instead of, you know, coddling ourselves, I do think that there's an opportunity to, to draw a line in the sand and go, I'm actually going to reset my energy, reevaluate my goals right now, and set myself up for success in the last 6 months of the year instead of just, you know, babying myself and being like, oh well, let me renegotiate and, you know, change my mind about what I had said that I was going to do this year. You start adjusting the expectations, you start yielding to that mid-year lull and kind of believing that that's your destiny for this year. And so if you have felt that, you've likely lost touch a little bit with the spark that you had at the start of the year, or maybe you've even forgotten about that clear path or the goals that you set for yourself back in January. And now at this point in the year, you're probably just kind of wandering aimlessly towards something, but you're not totally sure if everything that you're doing are the right things or the right strategies or the most important. You're not sure if you're prioritizing in an effective way. And it might not even be clear for you anymore, like, where you're going. And so that is what we need to fix. That is what we need to solve for. For me, this mid— midpoint of the year is like the wake-up call when you realize, oh shit, there's only 6 months left. And that's when your eyes are open to the fact that you may have been autopiloting for the past couple months without even noticing it. You may have been coasting. You may have been just going through the motions, doing a lot of things but not really knowing if those things are the things that are going to make you the progress that you desire, right? And so things are not feeling crystal clear, they're not feeling in sharp focus. You don't feel like you have this like set of lasered-in goals and that fiery motivation that you need in order to kick it up a notch so that you can be the person that you want to be by the end of this year and be standing at the finish line of this year being like, fuck yeah, that was crazy. Like second half of the year goes hard. So it's all time to change that because we're going to talk about this kind of foolproof mid-year reset and some of the things that I think we can do to revamp this and reset the energy. And I think something that's worth mentioning is like most people are gonna use summer as a time to slack off, and if you're resonating with this, you're going to use summer to pop off. So summer is no longer a time to slack off, it's the time to pop off. And the only way to do that is to do what other people won't, because doing what other people won't is the way that you are going to get results that other people don't have, right? Summer is typically this time that we take off, we kick back, we go on vacation, we unplug from our goals a little bit, we allow ourselves to eat whatever we want, drink whatever we want. Like all the rules kind of loosen in the summer, but I am personally using the summer months to really build and launch new offers, to invest in upskilling with HighLevel mentorship. I'm in masterminds, one-on-ones. I'm going to an event with Alex Hormozi in Vegas again. Like, I'm doing all these things this summer to really kick it up a notch. And I know for a lot of people it's kind of like, if you, if you're a mom, let's say, and you have young kids, summer of course is going to be this magical time that you want to spend with your kids, and that absolutely can be your vibe. But just hear me out for anyone else who's like, no, like, I'm, I'm kind of resonating. Sell me on this idea, Sam, because like I want to be at the finish line of this year being so fucking proud of everything that I did. And I still think there's enough time for me to like really make this happen. So energetically, wouldn't you say that summer used to give you the absolute best I am that bitch vibes when you were younger? I mean, come on. Think back. You couldn't tell 13-year-old me in my Abercrombie bikini and my Razor Pink flip phone absolutely nothing come summertime. I was in full I am that bitch energy. Like, when I think back to like summers as a teenager, that is the energy that we need. That is the energy that we are channeling. When you were like laying out rubbing baby oil all over yourself, getting super tan, putting lemon juice in your hair to get some extra blonde highlights. Like, you were making all the plans to go to the birthday pool parties. You were getting some new outfits. You had your new favorite bikini, your little flip phone. Like, come on, '90s kids, stand up! We were really— we were that girl. We were that girl. And that's the energy that we need to channel this summer, because she was fucking unstoppable. She was she was gonna make that the best summer of her life. I mean, that was, I swear, the energy that I brought into every summer at the end of the school year was like, this is gonna be the best summer of our lives. And I do think that as an adult, you kind of lose that because it's— there's not this, you know, intense sort of feeling of freedom come summer because you don't have any responsibilities and you don't have to go to class anymore. But like, we could channel that. We could lean into the nostalgia and we could bring that back, that feeling of like, this is gonna be the best summer of my life. It's just gonna mean something different now as, you know, an entrepreneur, as an adult, as an ambitious woman, as someone who has like really big goals for herself. So I really also think that mid-July is the ideal time astrologically to be in your like pop-off season, and here's why. We have just entered Leo season, okay? And Leo is ruled by the Sun, which is your life force. Hello, life force energy! Hello, heat, fire! Like, the Sun symbolizes who you are at your core, and that means that this time of year is going to bring clarity, it's going to bring boldness, and kind of this like innate instinctive drive that we have to really shine. And Leo energy is like total main character vibes. And especially after we just transitioned out of Cancer season earlier in July, that's more like this emotional introspection, Leo season shows up and is like, okay, we've done the reflecting, now let's throw some gas on that bitch. Like, energy, vision, confidence. Leo's fire sign energy truly amplifies your drive, your leadership, your courage. There's a lot of courageous energy associated with Leo too because the archetype is the lion. And so I really don't think that this time of year is giving like slow and steady wins the race. It's more like watch me roar and like make shit happen, right? Hello, welcome to make shit happen. That is the vibe. Also, Leo rules the 5th house, which is like all about creativity, self-expression, joy, and play. And that just means that you are kind of going to feel naturally inclined to step into the spotlight more, to really refine your voice and your messaging and to kind of just like be more childlike. There's more joy, like to just give less fucks essentially. And so I think that this is a really, really great time for rebrands, for relaunches, um, to get back into your like creative genius energy, to revamp your messaging for your offers and make them even spicier, even bolder, and to maybe like reinvent how you're showing up on socials. Like maybe looking at your content and doing an audit and being like, okay, this is giving boring, it's giving bland, it's giving vanilla, no sprinkles, limp dick energy. Like, we need to fucking fix this. What's the reinvention? What's the rebrand sis? So if you've been kind of quiet behind the scenes or feeling like you're just playing small a little bit in the way that you haven't been really like playing full out or meeting your edges, Leo season is here, girl, and it's like, all right, all bad bitches to center stage, please. So that's why I think this time of year is honestly one of the best times energetically to decide that like, I'm gonna pop off and really go hard. And I think unlike the kind of hustle-heavy vibe that quarter one can sometimes have, I think Leo season differentiates in the fact that it really is this invitation for more, like I said, joy, playfulness, authenticity, and like magnetism. I think that's the word I'm looking for. Magnetism is kind of like the energy of Leo. So yes, it's like fiery and like we want to take center stage and be the main character and shift things up and shake things up, but it gives you this like sense of, of just being magnetic to the things that you desire. So this mid-year reset isn't necessarily about like fixing all the things that didn't work, or being so analytical and nitty-gritty, but it's more so about reconnecting with the things that light you the fuck up and letting that be the fuel for this second half of the year. So you could think about like what it would look like if you made the second half of 2025 your boldest, most creative alive chapter yet, and that is kind of what we're trying to step into here. I also wanted to speak to the numerology of this time of year because it's like midsummer. Yes, obviously we're in Leo season, but July and August, we have the numbers 7 and 8. July is the 7th month. August is the 8th month. So, in numerology, 7 is the number of inner alignment spiritual reflection and clarity, which lines up really nicely with kind of the vibe of Cancer season, like we talked about, of like the introspection and, and spirituality and kind of like nourishment and stuff. And I think that means that it's a powerful time to really like pause, reassess, and realign. And I think that's an important thing for us to do as part of the mid-year reset, is to do that like introspection, self-reflection. But then we also have August, which is the 8, and that's the number of power, of abundance, of manifestation, Um, we have the Lion's Gate coming up, which, hello, you know, is the time of year— if you've come to my Lion's Gate workshops, you know, you've probably manifested some shit on those workshops because every year I get so many messages like, holy fuck, everything that I set out to manifest on the Lion's Gate came true. So like, this energy is really powerful. It's all about abundance, manifestation, magnetism, and like taking those aligned action steps into your highest potential. So if July is kind of like the reset, then August becomes like the pop-off or the roar if we wanna play on the like lion archetype of Leo season. So if I haven't convinced you yet that this is the best time of the year to decide that you are gonna do a reset and pop-off, I don't know what to tell you. But I do wanna go through a very specific kind of 5-step mid-year reset that I've come up with that I think is the core foundational things that you can do to really give yourself this reset of energy and alignment towards who you want to be and the goals that you want to achieve by the end of the year. I also will say that I think this is an amazing time— if you have not watched the Your Year of More Masterclass yet, you should go and watch that. And if you already have access to it, then this is a really amazing time to rewatch it, because that's something that we did at the start of the year, but it's available all the time. And it's, it's a really, really useful masterclass for at any point in the year, but especially when you're trying to like really give yourself that full reset and step into the frequency of conviction and get ready for upgrading your revenue to multi-six or seven figures and get clear on some of the messaging elements to bring in those high-level clients. Like, a lot of that is covered in that masterclass. It's available now, so we'll link it in the show notes if you want to do it. I think now is a really good time to do it. It's only $55. But also just know, if you get it when you buy Sold Out Stories, you can get it for a reduced price of $22. So if you've been thinking about doing Sold Out Stories, just know that if you do end up doing that, you can add on your Year of More for cheaper. But you can also buy— just buy it separately if you just want that class. And it's a really, really good class. It's like, I think it's like over 3 hours, and it's— there's a lot of— there's a lot of humor and fun, but like really tangible things for you to walk away and implement and help you get set up for planning your year, um, how you're going to set up the rest of your launches, how I do revenue planning. Like, there's so much in there. So anyway, I just want to throw that out there because I think it's a really good time of year to do it. But let's get into the 5 steps. I think the first step is— whenever I think about like, okay, if I need to clear my energy, what's one thing that I could do? And it's to clear your space, because a clear space creates a clear mind. So step 1 of this mid-year reset is to just clean one area of your life or your physical space that's kind of been weighing you down. So I do think that it would be a bit of like an overkill to think that you're gonna go and like clean every single area, like your closet, your car, your junk drawer, your desk, your whatever. So just like pick one, do you know what I mean? Like pick the one that's been bothering you the most, or that feels like it's the most just like, uh, every time you see it you're like, fuck, like I really need to, I really need to organize that, I really need— maybe it's your kitchen, maybe it's a specific or I don't know, but pick a space that's been making you feel stagnant or cluttered and just clean it up. Just, just do the work to clean it up. Your brain will literally, literally thank you, and you will feel so much clearer because energy loves space and spaciousness. So we want to do something in the physical realm to make room in the energetic realm for receiving more and for everything that's about to unfold for us. Step 2 of the mid-year reset is to audit your goals, because I think this is really important. It goes back to that, you know, introspection, self-reflection, doing the reset to then move into the, the roar and really taking off. The first thing that has to happen is we have to do that audit, which I think Your Year of More, that masterclass, is really going to help you with that. And we want to audit our goals, but we want to make it spicy, right? So I would say Look at the goals that you set at the beginning of the year and ask yourself if—

Because there's a difference between something being misaligned genuinely because you wouldn't choose it now, and you just being fearful that it's not possible, so you're backing down and minimizing your desires and your goals to try to fit what you think is a realist— realistic expectation, right? So asking yourself, would I still choose this now, but through the lens of like, if I knew it was possible to get there? Would I still choose this now? And if the answer is no, then, then definitely adapt, because we're changing all the time. You've probably become 6 new versions of yourself in the past 6 months. So if you have to adapt, and you adapt— so go back, look at the goals you set at the beginning of the year, and kind of rewrite them or revamp them with a little bit more fire. Maybe make them more tangible, more specific to the time frame that you have available to you now. And again, it's not about like doing what you think is safe or realistic, but really understanding like what is lighting you up and who do you want to be by the end of the year. When you're the version of you who's at the end of December and is standing there and it is New Year's Eve and you are ready to cheers to 2026, you wanna look back on this year and you're like making your little Instagram reel with like the recap of the year. Close your eyes. Maybe you can transport yourself to that place now. It's like end of December, it's New Year's Eve, you're making your little reel of like the recap. What do you want in that recap? What is the footage that you want to be able to put in that video? What are the, the things that you accomplish that you're so proud of, that you're so stoked about, that you want to be able to write underneath that post? Like, who do you want to be by the end of this year? And let that be the girl, the version of you that decides what you do in this like session of re-auditing your goals. Do not audit your goals from the space of smallness or fear or doubt or uncertainty. Like, you need to get into fucking conviction, which again, if you feel like you've been slacking with that a little bit, or, or your energy has just been kind of off and you, you don't feel like you're as confident as you once were, or you just want to be more of that, take the Your Year of More Masterclass. I'm telling you, it laced, laced with confidence codes. Like, you will be walking out of that class being like, I can fucking run through a brick wall. Like, I can literally do anything. I also think something that's comforting to think about is the fact that, like, sometimes we have this ex— these expectations, like, oh, wouldn't it be so cool if, like, at the beginning of the year I set this goal and then by July I was like, oh my God, I already hit my goals for the year, that's so crazy, like, now I need to go even bigger. While that can happen sometimes, It's not the most likely thing to happen because of a lot of factors, but like I think of Parkinson's Law, which is like the law where a task essentially expands to fill the time that you've allotted for it to be done in. So if you have 20 minutes to get ready, it'll take you 20 minutes to be ready. If you give yourself 2 hours to get ready before a dinner, somehow you will still be scrambling in the last 5 minutes to finish getting ready. It's like the task expands to fit the allotted time that was designated for it. And so I think the same is true for the goals that we set for the year. Like, we— our timeline expands to fill that allotted amount of time that we set to accomplish that goal. So it would be kind of random at the halfway point for you to be like, oh my God, like, I did all these, these, these things already, because the stuff that you have to do to make those goals a reality is expanding to meet the timeline that was designated for it, which was the full 12 months of the year. It also can be helpful to not necessarily make your goals smaller because you're fearful or doubtful that they might not be able to come true, but to kind of adapt them or frame them in a way that they're more bite-sized. So like setting yourself goals that are kind of stepping stones where like one leads to the next thing, and that can kind of shrink the timeline on the goal and make you feel like you're making progress faster. So rather than, for example, you have like a big revenue goal for the entire year— that's great, you can have that— but I think in the day-to-day, the thing that you should be focusing on should be way more like pared-back, bite-sized than that. And thinking about, okay, what's the quarterly goal right now? And even beyond that, just knowing what your quarterly goal is, each month you should be like, okay, so what am I doing and what am I selling and what needs to happen this month in order for me to be in alignment with what I had said was the quarterly goal. So it's like breaking it down into these very, um, bite-sized versions that you can take action on more easily and that shrink the timeline that you're working with. Because again, the task expands to fit the timeline. So that's something that I think is underrated and super, super helpful and also helps If you do have any level of like doubt or fear, or you feel overwhelmed by your goals or thinking about the fact that there's only 6 months left, if you can just focus on literally the next 3 weeks and you're like, okay, there's 3 weeks left in this month. Like, what do I need to be doing this month? What am I doing? What am I selling? What's my posting cadence? How am I committed to showing up on social media? What are the most needle-moving tasks in my business that are gonna actually bring revenue in or accomplish, you know, my main motives that I'm focused on? What are the priorities? Like just making it more simple. Step number 3 is to get a workout buddy and to hold each other accountable. And I know that this seems really random, or maybe it doesn't, but regardless of what your goals are and who you want to be by the end of the year, like, I just think picking a shared fitness commitment with a friend or a partner or a coach or someone like that is so beneficial to your energy and your overall, like, confidence and vibe. So it's not even necessarily about, like, hitting your quote-unquote fitness goals by the end of the year. Although if that's like a priority for you, then obviously this also aligns. But for me, it's like, it's about the identity. It's about who you're choosing to be, and it's about showing up more powerfully and making that commitment and sticking with it and building that confidence over time of like, I can do hard things, I can be consistent. And I just think most people are going to be more consistent if they're working in the buddy system. So actually, my friend Annelie and I set ourselves a goal. And in the summer, we're like, okay, fuck this, like, let's go, hot girl summer. We started going to the same gym, and we're like, let's go X amount of times per week. Every morning we're gonna show up at 8 AM and we're gonna work out. And both of us, over the past month or so that we've been doing it, we're like, wow, there are so many times that we both admitted, like, I would not have been here this morning if I, if I didn't have you like knowing that you were going to be there holding me accountable because like we only slept 5 hours the night before, or it was the first day of our cycle, or whatever. And it's like, it's not to ignore your body and go against it, but sometimes one of the most powerful things that you can train yourself on is the fact that you can do hard things and that you are much stronger than your excuses. So I know for me, like, I need in-person accountability. That's what works best for me when it comes to fitness and working out. But if you don't have that available to you, or you feel like you don't need that, then you could also just like set goals with your friends and commit to all doing it simultaneously, but like in your own ways. And so maybe you're all like gonna work out X amount of times, and you have like a group chat around it, and so you're all doing it individually but also kind of like together at the same time. Or maybe it's virtual, maybe you hire a personal trainer or a coach of some kind where you're using— maybe you like get an app and you're like, okay, I'm gonna do these workouts. Maybe it's just like a morning walk club that you have, or all of your friends are committed to a morning Hawker walk, or you're competing and all trying to get 10K steps every day. Like, you can make it fun, you can make it playful, but I do think that getting a workout buddy and holding each other accountable and doing the hard fucking thing, waking up, fucking your excuses, and doing the thing that you said that you were going to do is going to create so much momentum in your identity, in your confidence, and in your resilience and ability to show up and do the hard things. Momentum in your body literally creates momentum in your life. So that's a key. Step number 4 is to rewrite your calendar from scratch. And I absolutely love this tip, especially if you are an entrepreneur or someone who time blocks or you theme your days of what you're doing, to just give yourself like a clean slate and re— allow yourself to reimagine, hey, like, is this actually still working for me? The same way that it was when I set this schedule. And so if you can just take a blank calendar and rebuild it around your actual energy that you're feeling now, if you consistently have things that you like put off, or you say on Fridays I'm gonna do 5 pieces of content and then you never do it, like, that's okay. That needs to not be the goal. It needs to not be set up like that anymore because it's obviously not working anymore, right? So making these little shifts to your calendar and allowing yourself the creativity and the freedom to truly, like, reimagine how you approach things. Even if you have a job still and you're working on your business in your free time, or even if you don't have a business at all, like, just kind of reimagining how you want to even spend your weekends. Because we get into these autopilot routines of what we do, and there is so much power in the intentionality of going, hey, if I could really design this intentionally by choice, what would I do differently? What would I change? And so often we like don't give ourselves that opportunity. We just keep moving on autopilot because life is fast and there's like— we're all so fucking busy and there it feels like there's no time. But if you were to take time to do this, you might really open up a new pathway for creativity, for— I don't know, like just a different experience of your day-to-day life by being much more intentional with what your calendar looks like and how it's set up. So make sure that you're adding in buffer time, that you have like creativity time, that you are slotting time in for like breaks and certain boundaries that you have. If you're like me, you probably like to use your Google Calendar as your literal to-do list. I've talked about this a lot on the show. That is how I manage my distracted, potentially ADHD brain, and I just always have to refer back to my calendar to be like, okay, what was I supposed to be doing in this moment?, and my to-do list gets slotted into my calendar so that I know each hour of the day what I was meant to be doing. Because I can easily get pulled off into different notifications, answering things from the team, like there's always other things happening. And so that's my anchor, that's my anchor point, is going back to what was I meant to be doing so that I can get back on track as fast as possible. But I also have to be realistic with how I set that up, and knowing that something that I think is going to take me 60 minutes, I should probably give myself 90 minutes to do it because I may have another task pop up or I may be pulled off in another direction and get distracted. It may just take me longer than I imagine. And so allowing buffers is really, really important. And I think that your calendar is a mirror of your priorities. So when you change your calendar, you can quite literally change your life, because the calendar is like the physical manifestation of your intentions. It's like, this is what I am intending to do, this is who I'm intending to be, this is how I'm intending to allocate my time. And when you are you're so intentional in that way, it really can create a profound effect and change on your life and the outcomes in your business, your relationships, what you're choosing to prioritize. And the last step of our mid-year reset is to replace one energy-sucking habit. I want you to pick one thing that is truly just draining your mental, emotional, or physical energy, and upgrade it. So one that probably applies to all of us, myself included, is the doom scrolling. The fucking doom scrolling. Oh my God, you guys, I got— I have to admit, I got caught in a really bad doom scroll the other night. Jaime wasn't here, and I feel like he's my— he is my real life, like, bumper. Like, you know, when you go bowling and like the you put the bumpers up so that your ball always hits the pins. He's my real-life human bumper, and when he's not here, sometimes I go off the rails. And so the other night I was in bed and I realized that it was fucking 1:30 AM and I had been scrolling on my phone for over an hour. And wait, this video came up. I kid you not. It. I'm gonna find it. So it's 1:30 AM, I've been scrolling for like over an hour, and this, this video comes up on, on my feed of this guy being like, put the phone down, you're done, bitch. And I was like, in that moment I was like, is that you, God? Is that you?
Put the phone down, you're done. Put it away, you're fucking done, bitch. Put the phone down. Clock in. I don't know what you got to do, but it ate on that damn phone.

Yeah, felt like a— felt like a God moment. So I think for me, my, uh, life— life force sucking habit that I'm going to replace is the doom scrolling. And I think I'm going to bring back the phone jail. If you have listened to the podcast for a while, you've probably heard of the phone jail, and it is a little device that you can get off of Amazon. I have it linked on my Amazon shop, which is always ways in the show notes of the podcast, but it's like this little handy-dandy box that you can put your phone in and lock it and set a timer and you cannot get it out. Um, and I do think that it's unfortunate that I need that, but hopefully I'm not alone in the intensity with which the phones can take over, truly like capture our fucking brain power and take over our lives, especially when you work on social media and so many of your notifications and daily tasks involve doing stuff on your phone. I think that's what makes it so hard for me personally, is I have to be on my phone a lot for my work. If I could just like get away from the fucking phone, it would be better. But like, I'll go to do a work task on my phone, and that— and a lot of them are on Instagram, and then you get sucked in and you see a notification and you go and then before you know it, 20 minutes later, you're— so anyway, that's going to be my, um, one habit to replace. I'm going to bring back the phone jail, and I'm going to be doing a lot of soul searching for why, why this thing is glued to my hand at all times. So the idea with replacing the energy-sucking habit is like literally that, like swapping it for something else. So when you find yourself doing the habit that you said you didn't want to do, it's like you have to have an automatic switch for it. So one thing that I've done before that I really liked, and I might try to do again, is rather than like replacing the scroll, it's like knowing that when I have to do tasks on my phone, I should also be walking at the same time. So whether I'm walking on a walking pad, a treadmill, or literally going for a walk outside, it kind of— the, the movement of walking helps me stay more focused while I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. And it's kind of like habit stack. So it's one thing that's maybe a little bit energy draining, but at the same time I'm doing something that's really good for myself simultaneously. So it helps kind of weigh out the— all the cons of it and compensate in a bit. So you could do something like that too, where you kind of like habit stack. But if it's something that you just straight up like truly want to get rid of, then I recommend choosing ahead of time like what the swap is going to be and what you are replacing it with. So if you're someone who like accidentally tends to skip meals and things, maybe you're a busy entrepreneur, you would want to get really intentional with how you're going to replace that habit or behavior. So whether you order things or you start doing meal prep for the week with food that, you know, excites you, like you've— there has to be this level of like planning and intentionality in order for it to actually function and for you to make that effective swap. Now the last thing that I wanted to share with you guys for this mid-year reset is something that I posted recently on Instagram. But for all of my entrepreneurial girlies, if you are thinking like, okay, it's halfway through 2025, I want to make multi-six figures before the end of this year, this is exactly what I would do for the next 6 months. These are 6 things that I would really intentionally focus on if you were committed to making multiple six figures before the end of the year. And the first one is to post every day. And I think that you have to make that the goal because you might miss a day, but at least when your goal is 7 days a week, if you miss, you've still posted 5 or 6. Versus when you're setting this goal of like, I want to post really solidly 2 to 3 times a week, then you miss a few, now you only posted once. And while it's possible to post less and still convert, you are not really ever going to be able to get extraordinary results with just ordinary effort. Like, period. It just doesn't fucking exist. Number 2, which circles back to something that we already talked about in the 5-step mid-year reset, is like the gym buddy thing. Because I'm like so on that. I just think it's so Powerful. It's about the energy and the identity, waking up early, saying fuck it to your excuses, and really becoming that girl. So highly recommend that as well. From like the revenue standpoint, I do think that it actually affects that. Number 3 that I would focus on is ruthlessly auditing your messaging, because the way that you talk about your offers either is going to create instant demand in your audience or it's going to create the like, don't need it kind of energy. It though, one of those two things is happening right now. And so if it's the latter, we really need to like do a full-on audit of the messaging. Artful messaging and strategically crafted positioning of your offers is the key to premium buyers viewing your offer as a no-brainer and buying before they ever send you a DM or need to get on a phone call or any of that stuff. Like truly This is the key. It's what I teach inside Million Dollar Messaging. It's what I help all of my top tier mastermind clients with, which is open, by the way, right now. We have a couple of spots that we're filling for our summer launch period, and then those will likely be the last spots we have available for the rest of 2025 and potentially into 2026. So if you've been thinking about joining us inside of top tier, now is the time to apply. I will also leave that link for you guys in the show notes. And then number Number 4 is to have a really clear sales plan, because if you're trying to make more money— like, I'm all here for the delusion of like these big goals, but you do need an actual fucking plan, right? So you need to know what you're selling every month. You need to have those launch dates on the calendar. You need to have the funnels in place, and you need to optimize upsells, cross-sells, down-sells, because at the end of the day, sales is not about luck, it's about strategy. Number 5 is to invest in HighLevel learning, because this is a time where you are going to want to refine your skill That by learning from the people that you admire, getting in close proximity mentorship with people who have a certain zone of genius that you want to master, right? You don't have to master everything, but there are certain things that you're feeling drawn to, pulled to. You're like, damn, like, I wish I could master that like she does. Those are the people that you need to learn from, whoever they are, right? Because you have to remember, watching and emulating what other people are doing is just glorified guessing. It's just guesswork if you don't know the why behind what it is that they're doing, then you can't effectively replicate the strategies or the content that you keep trying to copy. And that's why it works for them and it doesn't work for you. And lastly, number 6 is if you're trying to hit multi-six figures before the end of the year, you need to blow up on Black Friday. Like, Black Friday alone could bring you an extra $100,000, and I'm not even joking. I've done this, my clients have done this. Black Friday literally changes the game if you know how to play your cards, right? So I have an entire masterclass on the art of Black Friday sales. If that's something you know you want to master this year, you can always DM me the word art on Instagram and it'll automatically send you the link to that class where I teach the strategy that has made me over $100,000 the last two Novembers. There are strategies that have been tested in many niches, many different countries, even places where Black Friday is not as popular as it is in the US.. And the women who have taken that class have made an extra $10K, $20K, $40K, $80K just from doing the Black Friday strategy. So when I say that that is a very viable way to help you hit those big, big goals before the end of the year, I'm so fucking serious. So start your engines, ladies. I will see you at the 2025 finish line. I cannot wait to get there, reflect, look back together on all the things that we accomplished and did this year. I am I am so, so excited to go into this second half of the year. We are about to pop the fuck off, okay? So if you're coming with me, let me know. If you loved this episode, leave me a comment on Instagram, send me a DM, let me know. And if you're interested in joining Top Tier, don't forget we've got some open spaces right now. You can always shoot me a DM if you just want to inquire and ask about a few things before you apply as well. So I'll always tell you the truth, I don't bite. Love you guys, and I'll talk to you week. Bye!
