In this episode Samantha Daley explores what it really costs to move into alignment with one’s highest self. She explains that while spiritual awakenings and personal‑development work bring excitement, abundance and freedom, they also trigger a cascade of external challenges. As inner beliefs, habits, and purpose shift, the external world – relationships, family expectations, jobs, and social circles – often no longer match the new identity. Daley describes how implicit and explicit judgment from friends and family arise because they still see the old version of the person. She calls this the “identity mismatch” and illustrates the push‑pull tension between staying true to the evolved self and clinging to familiar roles to keep connections safe. Using a domino metaphor, she frames alignment as the first domino that forces everything else in life to adjust, leading to friendships and jobs naturally fading out. Rather than fearing loss, she encourages listeners to reframe these separations as necessary space for higher‑vibration connections and growth. Throughout the episode she intersperses promotional segments: a 3‑month private business mentorship for female coaches, the Dream Life Immersion retreat in the Dominican Republic, an ad for the “Sold Out Stories” Instagram‑story sales system, a Listener‑of‑the‑Month giveaway, and calls to review and share the podcast. The overall message is that authentic alignment inevitably brings both blessings and painful side‑effects, and embracing the full spectrum is essential for true personal evolution.

What's up, guys? Welcome back to the podcast. Today's episode is going to be all about the cost of alignment. So what it actually means to get into alignment with your highest self and some of the things that are going to happen as a result of that, some of the challenges, the obstacles, and the hurdles that we face once we start going on a personal development journey or we experience a spiritual awakening of some kind. A lot of it is fun and beautiful and inspiring and positive, but there's also this domino effect of things that happens in our life once we start going down that path that can be really, really challenging. They can feel confusing. It can feel lonely. It can feel scary. So this episode is for anybody that's gone through a spiritual awakening or you're on a personal development journey and you feel yourself changing internally, you feel yourself becoming a new, different, evolved version of yourself, and you're wondering how the external pieces of your life fit into that. And maybe you're starting to notice that some of the external pieces of your life don't fit into this new version of yourself. And where do they fit in? And can I hold on to these things, these places, these people, this job? And how does that all work? And what— is it bad if things start to break down or fall away? And what does that mean? So if you've ever been in that space of questioning or wondering or fearing that things might fall away because of your own evolution, this episode is for you. I know that you're going to resonate with it and love it if you are in that space or ever have been. Before we dive in, I have two major things that are happening right now, aside from the fact that I'm moving in less than 3 weeks. What the heck? I have so many updates to give you guys when we do the bonus episode this month, so stay tuned for that. I'm going to give you all the, the deets on our move and the house and everything that's happening. But aside from that, there's two major things that are happening right now. The first thing is that spots for private business mentorship are now open, so we will begin working together in the month of August. And this is for current coaches, people who are running online spiritual businesses. You have a coaching practice. Maybe you've taken a couple of clients in one-on-one capacity and you're ready to grow and expand your business. You want to get inside of my mind and understand the marketing strategies and the genius that happens so that you can continuously sell out courses and programs. Maybe you want to build a group offering, a course or a program of some kind and up until this point you've only been doing one-on-one. Maybe you wanna step away from one-on-one coaching a little bit and do some things that are gonna help you scale and gain some of your time back, but also make a bigger impact into the world and increase your income all at the same time. So this is for female entrepreneurs who are in the coaching space, who have already served at least a handful of clients, but are ready to grow and scale their businesses to 5K, 10K months and beyond. So Private Business Mentorship is where we get to work together for 3 months. We meet every single week over Zoom for your private coaching sessions where my eyes and my hands can be all over your business. We can look at the backend, your product suite, the things that you're developing, the direction you're moving your business in, what your processes are, your onboarding, your offboarding, your strategies, your marketing, your social, All of the things will get my eyes and my touch on them. And that's the beauty of having this private business mentorship as opposed to being in a group. It's just much more personalized and helps you speed up the transformation and send you into that next up level of your business a little bit faster than if you were just doing it on your own or in a group setting. So you get weekly Zoom calls with me where we'll work on everything inside of your business and up level everything. And then you also get unlimited Voxer access. So you get text and voice note support from me at any time, the— during the entire duration of the 3 months that we are working together. So if you're interested in this kind of business coaching, you can send me a DM on Instagram. You can send me the word IMPACT, or you can just say, hey Sam, I'm interested in private business mentorship, if you're like, I don't want to send you a weird word. But if you want to keep it short and simple, you can just DM me the word IMPACT Or there's a link in my bio on Instagram that you can click to apply, and then I can reach out to you and we can kind of talk more details. I'll give you all the pricing, the different options, what it looks like, everything that you need in order for us to understand if it's a fit for you and the kind of business model that you have or where you're at in business. Um, so the way for us to figure out if it's going to be a match and if we are compatible as coach and client is for us to just like have a quick conversation about it and see where you're at and how you're looking to grow and if I'm the right coach to able to help you to do that. The second thing that's happening is the Dream Life Immersion Retreat is on sale. So if you want to come with us to the Dominican Republic at the end of this year in December, the dates are December 9th to the 13th. It's 5 days, 4 nights, all inclusive, all your meals, airport transportation, Everything is included, all of the workshops, embodiment, hypno breathwork. We're going to be doing advanced manifestation, wealth embodiment, so many amazing activities and things, guided waterfall hikes, a cacao ceremony. It's going to be an immersive— that's why it's called an immersion. It's going to be immersive personal development experience to help you become a master manifester. So the basis or the idea around this retreat is to really work on our super attractor powers and to understand the laws of the universe and build that magnetism within ourselves so that we can attract all of the things that we desire. So we're going to do a lot of deep work and we're going to do it in a short period of time. But it's going to be so immersive because it's going to be in person and it's going to be with a group of other soul sisters who are doing this work. You're going to make amazing connections, lifelong friendships, people that you're going to stay connected to online forevermore. This has been my experience with retreats. Always you meet the most amazing people and you have these life-changing experiences and awakenings on these types of retreats. So it's going to be in, in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. So that's like on the northern side of the island, on the peninsula of Samaná, where they have the best beaches, the best sand, crystal blue waters. We're in this amazing beachfront villa where you can walk right out from your room onto the white sands. It's— I can't— I have goosebumps thinking about it because it's going to be so amazing. And what I will say is at the time of recording this, we are already 50% sold out after just being on sale for 24 hours. So if you want to come, do not wait. If you were on the waitlist, you will have received a waitlist discount code and that ends today, the day that you're hearing this episode. If you're listening to it in real time on July 20th, that discount ends today. And at this time, we have 50% sold out, and the rest of the spots are still available. So you still have time to get in, but know that spots are kind of like selling faster than we expected. So if you want to be there, now is the time. I'm going to leave a link in the show notes for you guys to check out the whole page. You can see the accommodations, you can see the different room types, you can see the villa where we're going to be staying, all the information about what's included, what's not included, the prices, all of that. And also, that link is in my bio on Instagram at _samanthadaily. If you click link— if you click the link in my bio, there is a button that will take you to the retreat page as well. If you have any questions about the retreat or you're nervous about coming alone, or there's something that, you know, you just are curious about or you're not sure about, you can always send me a DM on Instagram. My DMs are open, so I'd love to get in conversation with you guys if you're thinking about coming and helping make it possible for you, or answer any of your questions. So those are my two announcements. Now we can jump right into the episode. I hope you guys enjoy and I'll see you on the other side. Okay.
So I have something I think you're really gonna love and your business is gonna love it even more. Do you want to steal the strategy I've been using to seduce premium buyers and sell out my offers on Instagram stories? Chances are you're already posting, you're already making sales, but if your Instagram stories aren't working as hard as you are, you're leaving money on the table. Sold Out Stories is going to teach you exactly how to change that so that you can sell out any offer at any price point. And even high-caliber coaches miss this because selling on stories isn't about how much you post or how frequently you show up face to camera. It's about psychological sequencing. And the way you're posting right now might be giving the premium buyers in your audience the ick. Documenting your day and hoping it builds trust, posting look-at-me content and calling it authority, sharing client wins as soon as they drop in instead of strategically weaving them into a story-selling sequence designed to drive demand and convert sales.
We both know that you're not here to learn how to show up more.
You're here because you know your content could be converting faster and more effectively. Sold Out Stories is going to give you 5 high-converting story selling frameworks built specifically for premium buyer psychology. Inside, you'll get over 6 hours of deep dive video trainings, real IG story breakdowns, and live walkthroughs that show you exactly how to elevate your slides from authority building all the way to offer flow in less than 10 slides. My clients have already been using these frameworks to pull 5-figure sales days while posting less. One client generated 14 premium leads from a single story sequence. Another sold out her event in under 6 hours with just 8 strategic story slides. No sales calls, no paid ads, just the right frameworks. You'll walk away knowing how to sequence for desire, transition into your offer seamlessly, and sell daily without ever feeling salesy.
You already know your offer's incredible, so now it's just time for your stories to sell it like it is.
Grab Sold Out Stories today and turn 10 slides or less into your highest converting content. Let's make your next story your most profitable one yet. Click the link in the show notes below and I'll see you inside.
Welcome to the Makeshift Happen podcast. I'm your host, Samantha Daley. Entrepreneur, life coach, and your no BS bestie here to bring you all things mindset, manifestation, and personal development. This podcast is designed to help you expand your mind and uplevel your life.
So turn the volume up and roll the windows down if you're coming along for the ride.
Let's go make shift happen. I've been having a lot of conversations lately with my clients and women in this space who are really on a spiritual journey, a spiritual path of some kind, or they're deep in their personal development journey and all of the challenges or even quote unquote consequences of doing this type of work and building this deeper sense of self-awareness and just going down this path. So everybody that's listening to this podcast is likely going to be able to relate to this because if you enjoy this show, if you listen to this podcast and others like it, you are probably someone who consumes personal development content. You probably follow different people on the internet that are talking about these types of things, and you are in your own internal process of evolving. You're on your own soul's journey. You are moving towards that next level of your life and you are doing this deeper inner work. And so this conversation today is just a reflection of a lot of conversations that I've been having lately about what happens when you actually go down this path and you start doing this inner work and what are the consequences or, you know, the aftereffects that come into play as part of this journey, because it's not all just growth and abundance and fun and ease and flow and quitting your job and living your best life, right? There is a lot of trial and error and challenge and hurdles and obstacles and all these different things that we face by being souls that are here on Earth at this time. That are meant to raise the collective consciousness, to do this work so that we can help other people, you know, that there's part of this journey that is challenging. And I think we love to focus on the positives of it, of you can manifest your desires, be in co-creation with the universe, attract everything that you want, abundance, freedom, start your own business, live life on your own terms, travel whenever, live in a van, do all these things. Like, there's so many markers of freedom and, you know, the beautiful positive things that come from doing the deeper inner work to getting into alignment with your, with your highest self. But I also want to give space to the conversation about what are the negative— not necessarily negative, but they are more challenging and painful aspects of doing this work and getting into alignment, right? Alignment isn't just, oh my gosh, amazing, I feel so aligned, everything is perfect. There are difficult things that happen when you move into alignment. And so, you know, I think one of them that I want to touch on is this phenomenon where there's going to be people in your life if you are on a spiritual journey or, you know, gone through an awakening of some kind, or you're deep in your own personal development work where people in your life just don't really get it. They don't understand what you're doing or who you're, quote unquote, trying to be, or all of the books, the podcasts, or the things that you're talking about or sharing, or how you're acting different or maybe speaking different, or you have these weird practices or rituals, or you've put affirmations all around the house, or, you know, whatever it is. But there's, there's going to be people in your life that don't really understand, whether these are— a lot of times it's family members. A lot of times we receive this judgment or the feeling of this judgment from parents. And so this can, this can show up implicitly or explicitly. And so if the judgment is showing up implicitly, it's kind of like this intuitive knowing or this feeling that maybe your friends or your parents are kind of like, What the heck is she doing? Like, you've changed or you're being different, or, you know, you can tell that they don't really approve of what you're posting on social media or the new job or the coaching space that you're trying to move into. They don't really believe— they don't get it. They don't believe that it's going to be successful. They're like, are you sure you want to, like, do that? Like, but they're not actually saying it to you, but you can just feel from them that that's how they feel. So that's kind of the implicit judgment. And then there's the piece of explicit judgment, whereas Sometimes there are people that actually will directly say these things to you of, oh, you know, that's not safe, or that's silly or stupid, or why would you do that? Or that's, you know, you're a con artist, or you're just trying to be in a pyramid scheme, or like whatever the ridiculous judgment is that's being projected onto you. And it's actually happening in a very explicit way where they're actually saying those things to you. So whether you've experienced it implicitly or explicitly, it's still an icky feeling and it is challenging to move through and keep choosing the alignment of your path when you've got these projections coming at you from all directions of people that don't believe in it or don't believe in you or think that you're going to fail or that you're being unsafe or that what you're doing is stupid or it's wrong or it's fake. It's very, very challenging to keep putting one foot in front of the other when you have all of those barriers going on. And the way that I look at this specific phenomenon of, you know, having other people place their judgment onto you about what you're doing or the way that you're evolving and changing is it's really about identity, because the way that you see yourself the way that you identify yourself is no longer matching the old identity that these other people in your life have in their heads for how they see you, because they are still viewing you through the lens of your old identity, of who you used to be, of your old job, of how you used to do things, of how you used to talk, of all the things that used to be part of your personality that maybe they don't see anymore. So they've still got this old, antiquated, outdated identity for you in their heads. And the way that you're actually showing up now in the present is not matching that. So there's this disconnect between who you're showing up as and who they know you to be. And the reason for this is because your spiritual awakening or personal development path up until this point has really been largely an internal game. You know, you've been on this internal journey of having so many different thoughts and realizations and consuming all different kinds of knowledge and different perspectives. And you're starting to see things differently and you're opening your awareness and you're thinking differently and you're changing your thoughts and how you feel about yourself and the world. And so much is changing and evolving within you. But that entire journey has been invisible to everybody else. So for you, it's felt like this long process. It's felt like this thing that's like been a long time coming. You know, you've been on this path, you've been learning all these things, making all these adjustments, thinking in new ways. But we have to remember that the people in our lives, even our closest family members and friends, they are not privy to that internal journey. They have not been able to witness or experience the internal shifts that have been taking place for us over the past couple of months or potentially even years. And so when you step forward and you start trying to make the outsides of your life match the insides, it feels like this shocking, really out of nowhere change to other people in your life because they have no context they have not been on the internal journey with you. They have not experienced all the shifts that have been happening inside of your mind and in your body over the past couple of months or years. All they've been seeing is what's on the outside. So when you finally step forward and you decide, I'm going to make my life fall into alignment with everything that I've been experiencing on the inside, on this personal journey of mine, it feels like it's coming out of nowhere to these other people, right? Because these people in your life, they didn't, they didn't witness this internal journey, so they can't see it. It's totally new for them. And what happens then is you are trying to be the new you, right? You've had the internal shift and you're like, okay, I want to represent this in my external world. I now want I want my job to be reflection of this internal change.' I 'want'—my habits—to be our reflections on these internals? And how do you say it again?' spiritual practices and rituals—to be reflexion odis internoal chenge'? "I wanna way that i speak an da wey tha di show up ta bi'a relexcion ov dis intorno al chang'e." What does she mean by saying all those things there? You start trying t'make th'doutsides uv your life reflect what's going inside yah! Right?! So when ya're tryin', like me at least sometimes waduh duh-wa-duh-dooh-doo-woop-boom-bap boomp bing boom bam ba-da-la la-lu-poop-poof poophoosh woopa-shoomp shroompoopschoot choochi whooshie poochies pootshumpp hooo-hoooo-op fook-a-moon-yeeehhh... My joob tu bee'ya reflektion OV dizz internally chanje'. I waant mah habbits 2 deeya reflenction UV diz internal chaange'. I wan't muh spiritoel practises n ritwuls teh teebee a riflektion OV dish interiorchaanze!' Yew startrying toh make de outsizedzuv yer lyfe; match the insides, but nobody else can see the inside. All they see is the outside. So you are trying to be this new you, but because everybody in your life is still attached to this old identity of who they believe that you still are, because they have no idea of this big shift that, that you've gone through, you are also then forced— not necessarily forced, but a lot of us experience this where we feel like we, we want to be the new us, but we also have to cling to these little pieces of our old version of ourselves so that we can maintain these relationships and not rock the boat too much or not disrupt everybody else's perception of us. We don't want to let them down or make them feel like we've changed, or we don't want to face the fact that maybe they don't like this new version of us or that there may be judgment about this new version of us. So we try our best to be, to be the newest version of ourselves. But then we run into situations where we can tell that we're also trying to be the old version of ourselves. And the problem with this is that if you're trying to be the new you while also clinging to pieces of the old you so that you don't lose anybody or that you don't rock the boat or have to face any conflict or have hard conversations, then you're going to continue to feel frustrated and stuck and you're going to be moving towards your dreams at a much slower pace. Because you have this kind of cat-dog energy going on where part of you wants to be the new evolved version and show up in that way. And another part of you wants to stay attached to the old version and how you used to show up in the past so that you can maintain all of these relationships in your life and make sure that everybody still likes you, everybody still approves of you. There's no judgment, there's no conflict, there's no hard conversations. We don't have to deal with any discomfort. And the truth of this is that we don't— that's not real. That's not true alignment, right? You can't have your cake and eat it too in this scenario of I want to be fully aligned with my highest self, but I also want to cling to this old version of me so that nobody else gets disrupted by the new version of who I'm stepping into. We don't get to have both of those things. And I think a lot of us can feel this happening in our lives. Like maybe when you are on your own or you're in the privacy of your own space, like maybe with your partner or some of your newer friends or with your like online friends or business besties who like get it online or how you show up on Instagram or TikTok, it's like, that's like what you feel is like the real, the truest version of you, the updated, upgraded version of you. And you have no problem showing up in that way, owning your spiritual practices, talking about all of the things right in this certain space. But then maybe you go home to your parents' house or you go visit friends from high school and suddenly you see yourself or you witness yourself reverting back to that old identity where you're maybe doing things or saying things that you wouldn't if you were in your private space or if you were on social media or in those arenas of your life where you feel comfortable being the new, most aligned version of you. But now you're like, ooh, you know, I'm with these people that have this old, outdated identity for me, so I'm going to be the chameleon and I'm going to adapt and I'm going to start acting like that old version of me so that I I can maintain this connection and that I don't have to lose the sense of connection with these people. And I don't have to face any judgment that may potentially arise if I were to show up in these spaces as my newest, most updated, most aligned self. So it's interesting when you can see yourself doing this. And so as you're listening to this, I want you to think about if there's any spaces or places or people in your life that you notice that this happens with for you. And understanding that as long as this is happening, you've got this like push and pull, cat-dog kind of situation going on where part of you is, is pulling in the direction of the up level and the other part of you is pulling in the direction to keep you safe and to hold you back and to keep you in those old identities of who you used to be and how you used to show up. And the, the hardest thing to understand for so many of my clients and other coaches that I know and people that I'm friends with in this space is that when you become aligned with your highest self and you actually own the new version of you and who you want to be and how you want to show up and what you want to share, Hey, don't forget that every month we are picking a Listener of the Month to win $50 in cash just for showing love to the show.

Love you guys and thanks for supporting Makeshift Happen. People will fall away, and I think that is a huge fear for so many of us is, I don't want to lose anybody, or I don't want to break these connections, or, you know, I don't want to lose these friendships or have people misunderstand me. Or we're just so addicted to having connection and having people like us that it's a very, very real fear of experiencing some of those people or relationships fall away. But As your no BS bestie, I have to tell you that that will happen. And it's a natural consequence of living in your highest alignment. This is the price of being your most authentic self and living in alignment with your truth. I said this to a client just the other day. I said, we have to be available for the consequences of our own highest alignment. And if we are under the impression that getting into alignment with our highest selves and owning our new versions of who we're becoming and our passions and our purpose and what we want to share with the world means that it's all going to be positive and beautiful and, you know, all the most amazing outcomes are going to come of it and nothing bad is going to happen, then in a lot of ways we're lying to ourselves and we're setting ourselves up for disappointment when we realize that alignment comes with challenges, as does everything in life, right? Even the good things are going to come with certain challenges. And the reason for this, the reason why I think it's, it's just a natural part of the process that some people will fall away or— and it doesn't have to be these like huge dramatic like, you know, falling out with friends. Sometimes it happens that way, but a lot of times it's just a natural fading of people that don't resonate anymore with the person that you've become, and vice versa. And it's just— it, it naturally just kind of like fades out. The reason that I think that this is just a part of the process and something that we almost have to expect is going to happen is because of the identity piece. Again, it's like if you were a different version of yourself in the past, you had different thoughts, you acted in a different way, your personality was different in some ways, then of course the people that you attracted into your life back then were going to be a reflection, a match of that version of you. So if you are evolving and growing and you're ascending to a new level of consciousness, a different version of yourself, then of course there's going to be some of those people from the past that are not on that journey with you, that are no longer a vibrational match for who you're becoming. It only makes sense that this would be a natural part of growth, because if the people that came into your life in the past were a match for who you were in the past, but now you're stepping into a different version, then of course it makes sense that not all of those people are going to be a match for the new version, right? Again, it's just like kind of the price of being your most authentic self and living in alignment with your truth. And if you look, think about it this way, like I always think about people that have had the same one group of friends forever, right? All of us probably know, or know of, someone in our life, or from high school, or something like that, where it's like they've had the same group of friends forever. You know, they, they don't really— they don't really have like— it's not like they have all these kinds of new connections or new different groups of people. It's like they've just had this one group of friends forever. And if you look at people like that, it's usually they that's usually the case because they haven't grown much. They haven't left. They haven't ever left their hometown. They haven't ever gone off the beaten path and pursued something unconventional or gotten a different kind of crazy job or moved to a different city or a different country. They haven't put themselves in situations that have allowed their whole internal world to radically evolve. They've just been in this bubble of living in this town, doing all the same things, following the beaten path, having the same group of friends. So if you always have the same people around you forever, it's usually like a sign that you're not really growing. And this isn't to say that, you know, there's not certain friends that will have for life, because there are, there are people that are going to grow and evolve alongside us and they're going to be on their own personal journey. But there's still— we're still a match for each other because we're both growing and evolving in our own ways. And it doesn't mean that we're into all the same stuff or doing all the same things, but growth appreciates growth and growth can be seen and witnessed by other people that are growing. Friendships tend to break apart, or relationships in general, when one person is growing in a direction, whatever that may be, and the other person is maybe standing still or growing in a completely opposite direction, but they just can't— they can't make the connection. They can't see the value in the way that the other person is growing. And so they feel like it's, it's not a match for them anymore or it's a threat to them in some way. And that's when relationships really break down. So of course we're going to have friends that, you know, are lifelong friends. And those friendships are so, so precious and we should really hang on to them and cherish them so much. But I think if you are on a spiritual path or a personal growth path, there is a part of it where we have to recognize that it's only natural that some of the connections, relationships, and friendships in our lives are going to fall away and to not let that fear hold us back from growing more. I was walking around the property where my parents live the other day with Jaime, and he's like really into trees and plants. And so he's— he planted this tree, uh, in honor of his grandmother when she passed away earlier this year. And so we were walking along the property and he wanted to go visit the tree and just see how it's growing. And he said something to me where he was like, you know, this tree eventually in however many years is— there are these other bigger trees where some of the branches were kind of like going over the top of where this new tree would grow. And he's like, you know, we'll either have to cut some of those branches or— because if we don't, if the tree gets to that point, they kind of know when they have to stop growing. So if those branches are still there, the tree will know to stop growing. And I was just thinking about how that happens so often with people. It's like these friendships or relationships or connections in your life may be the branches where— and you're the tree that's kind of like, if I keep keep growing, I know that I'm going to disrupt these branches, or I'm going to move so far beyond them, I'm going to lose them. And so we, we stop ourselves, we get stagnant, we get stuck, we stop ourselves from growing for the fear of losing people or losing connections or not having that validation of everybody loves me, or people still like me and love me and want to be around me. So being, being careful about not stopping your own growth because of the fear that people may fall away and instead accepting that as part of the journey and looking at it as a symbol of your own growth. Because I really do believe that the more that you grow and evolve and change, the more that things are going to have to shift. In your life. And that means some people may fall away because getting into alignment with your highest self is like the first domino, right? Like figuring out who you actually are at your core, doing this inner work, understanding your, your passions in life, your purpose, what you are here to do, the work that really inspires you, the direction that you want to move your life into, the spiritual path that you want to be on. All of that encompasses our alignment with our highest self. And when you do that, you knock down the first domino. And sometimes people think like that, that's the whole journey is just getting into alignment and you don't visualize or anticipate or understand that it's just the first domino in a whole train of other things that are going to then have to move and shift and change because of your alignment. So the alignment is the first domino, and then everything else in your life has to adjust and adapt and change around that first domino. When you start to become your highest self, everything else has to shift and adapt around that to be a reflection of that, to become a vibrational match for that. So if you are expecting to get into alignment with your highest self and do all these incredible things and follow your passion and your purpose and build your own business and live life on your own terms and share on social media and do all this stuff, but you don't want anything else to change, this conversation hopefully is the newsflash for you that everything is going to change because it has to. Because it has to, because you've knocked down the first domino. So the rest of the things have to fall. Everything starts to change and shift and adapt in your life when you get into alignment. And that is simply just part of the journey. And instead of looking at it as this fearful thing of, oh gosh, oh no, things are going to change, you know, I'm going to start feeling disconnected from my job and maybe I'm going to want to quit and I'm going to, feel weird about this, this friendship group, or I'm not going to feel connected to these people, or I'm going to want to distance myself and move away from them. And instead of letting that be this fearful, bad thing, we get to reframe it as, oh, it's a beautiful reflection of my own metamorphosis, of my own growth. And knowing that anything that does fall away in the process it, it can never be bad because it's a reflection of the alignment of your highest self. So if there is a friendship or a relationship or a job or a connection of some kind that falls away because you got aligned, we can't waste time worrying or wondering like, oh, you know, maybe I really needed to hang on to that person or that job or that thing, because of course of course it's fallen away for your highest good. Because when you get into alignment, all of the side effects and the consequences and the things that take place as an aftereffect are going to be of service to you, even if they feel this, even if they feel uncomfortable in the moment. In the long term, they are going to be of service for you. And the truth is, a lot of times these people or these things that we're so fearful of letting go of, or that they're going to fall away or not like us anymore or not resonate with us anymore, are actually taking up valuable real estate in our lives where better things could fall into place, where more deeply aligned connections could come in, where a more flourishing abundant, beautiful, connected relationship could come in, where a more aligned, exciting, purposeful, fulfilling job could come in. We're so afraid to let go of the things that are existing in our reality because we have this innate fear that what if nothing else comes along? Or what if nothing better comes along? And part of the journey of getting into alignment with your highest self is trusting that anything that falls away as a result of this journey is because something better is about to take its place.
