You’re Not Broken, You’re Out of Alignment: Use Human Design to Get Your Energy Back w/ DayLuna
18 Jun 2025 · 75 min
In this episode of the Makeshift Happen podcast, host Samantha Daly welcomes Human Design experts Shaina Cornelius and Dana Stiles, co‑founders of Dei Luna. After a brief promotional plug for the "Sold Out Stories" Instagram‑Story selling system, the conversation shifts to a comprehensive exploration of Human Design. The hosts unpack type differences (Projector vs. Generator/MG), profiles, strategy and authority, and how these mechanics shape relationships, friendships, and career choices. They share personal stories of corporate burnout, the moment they discovered their 2/4 Projector design, and the practical steps they used to realign – inventorying draining vs. fascinating tasks, setting timers, honoring their authority (emotional for Dana, G‑center for Shaina), and experimenting with a month‑long “follow‑your‑design” challenge that led to a thriving business. The dialogue also covers how each type can recognize alignment in daily life, the concept of "enlightened selfishness," and concrete three‑day exercises for Generators, Projectors, Manifestors, and Reflectors. Throughout, the tone remains conversational, supportive, and instructional, aiming to give listeners actionable tools to stop feeling "broken" and start living in energetic alignment.

We have such different energy outputs, and neither of them are right or wrong. And this is how you can manage that no matter what type you are. Alright, you guys, welcome to Makeshift Happen. We are here with Shaina and Dana. I also love that your names rhyme. Your names rhyme. Such an epic introduction. Shaina and Dana from De Luna, welcome to the Makeshift Happen podcast. I'm so excited that you guys are here.
Oh, thanks for having us. I know we're little rhymey girls, and in high school— I mean, not high school, geez, college— uh, it was annoying, but now it actually feels meant to be, like our souls chose that to be more memorable. I don't know.
Yeah, it's definitely more memorable. Yeah, I have a pattern of making friends that have the exact same name as me. So like my best friend in high school, like all through childhood growing up, same same exact name, also Sam. So that was annoying. It was always Sam and Sam when we were always together. So we'd be like, Sam, we'd both go, what? And now even, even today, one of my best friends in life is also named Sam. So speaking of that, I also kind of wanted to chat to you guys about the fact I was reading that you're both 2/4 projectors. So you have the same exact kind of like type in Human Design. And I found that really interesting because two of my very best friends are also both 5/1 manifesting generators like I am. So, and we didn't know that like when we met each other, but it's like we became best friends, we're super close, and then after like years of knowing each other, we randomly stumble across the fact that like, wait, you're a manifesting generator? So am I. Wait, what's your type? Oh, you're a 5/1? I'm a 5/1. And with one of my friends who also named Sam is also a Sagittarius. Like, we just— it's such, wow, like alignment of like very similar constellations. So do you guys think that there's anything to suggest that we naturally gravitate towards people of a similar design?
Absolutely. There's kind of— there's different styles of connection in your Human Design chart. So you can look at your chart and someone else's chart and see, do you have a similar design? Then you're going to have this feeling of immediate resonance, like just you get me, I get you, we see the world in the same way, especially with profile. That one is really big. So if I'm a 5/1 projector, for example, and you're a 5/1 man gen, we're still going to really resonate on the fact that we're both 5/1s even though we have different energy types. Um, but if you are both 5/1 man gens, it would just be like immediate connection, immediate resonance. We literally move through the world in the same way, and that type of connection where you have those similarities is really beautiful. It feels like a cozy space where you can kind of like let your hair down and just be. And then there's other types of connections, like you could be really different from someone and still be BFFs for life and have completely different charts. And that type of relationship can either be something where you click into gear with specific gates that you have, like you have one half of a channel in a gate and they have the other, and you literally complete each other. So that's how Shane and I are. Even though we're both 2/4 projectors, we also have these gates that click together, and it's like, literally, you complete me. And that is a really nice feeling. And then there's people like my husband and I— we're super different, we have really different charts. And that type of relationship, it's not like an automatic resonance, it's more like fireworks and chemistry. And there's like a push and a pull, and they make you grow and they make you stretch. And so there's none of the types that are better or worse, they're all just completely different flavors. It's really interesting to see which one— which type of relationship you have most in your life, because it's really telling you about like what your soul is needing for nourishment in this lifetime. So if you have a lot of friends that have the same energy as you and that same resonance, it's like your soul was craving that type of connection where you don't have to explain yourself, you can just be seen, and it's so easy and natural. And then there's going to be, you know, other points in your life perhaps where you have a relationship comes in that is the opposite, that more like chemistry, opposites attract, firework kind of relationship. And you'll know, okay, my soul is obviously drawing me to have that bit of that stretch in this relationship.
Hmm, that is so cool. So it's not, it's not like there's compatibility among types necessarily because there's such a wide range of how you might be compatible with someone else's design.
Exactly.
But it is interesting to kind of notice what you, what your soul gravitates to in this lifetime, for sure. I just found that so mind-blowing. It was like two of my best friends had the exact same profile and energy type. That's wild.

Yeah, honestly, when we see something like that, it's like, it seems like a soul contract, you know? It seems like your souls were always destined to be friends and to have those resonant points that are just so big, so profound, they're, they're unmistakable.
So cool. Did— is that how it felt when you guys met?
Definitely.
I mean, we had this feeling of you get me and other people don't kind of, uh, energy. And, you know, we met in college, so you're surrounded by so many people, right? And, and so we just had this clicked into gear kind of feeling and this feeling of we're different than everyone else around us. We operate in a different way. Things feel like I don't have to explain them so much to you. You just understand what it is that needs to be done, or how we need to move forward with different projects or different things, right? And so then to get to see that reflected in our Human Design years later and really see, oh, that's why we just understand each other on this deeper level— it's been— it's so cozy actually, because we can, can rely on each other in a way that we don't necessarily rely on other people, because there is that level of like you get me kind of vibe. So even with you and your friends that are all 5/1s, right, like you're both— or you're all really wanting to help people, you're all really wanting to find solutions and problem solve, and you all are really curious and want to learn.
Someone who has like a 3 line, for example, any friend that I have that has a 3 line— or Shayna's daughter has a 3 line, she's a baby right now— but it's just a very different way of moving through the world than we do as a 2 line and having that 2 in our profile. So like a friend who's a 3 line, they need to learn through trial and error. They need to like fuck around and find out kind of vibes. They need to just jump in and get their hands dirty and just see how it goes. And you literally cannot tell them, I don't think that's gonna work, you shouldn't try it. Like, that phrase does not work for them. It's not supportive for them. It's not how they roll. They need to try it for themselves and experientially discover what is true and not true for themselves. And so as a 2 line, like Shayna and I, we kind of don't need to do that. We don't really move through the world in that way. I mean, sometimes we do, but our main mode of operating as a 2 line is called the natural. So you just kind of already know what you're going to be good at or what you're not going to be good at, things that feel kind of easy and playful. And you just have like this knowing, um, that's not my thing, I'm not going to try it, or this is my thing and I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna be good at it. Now you can see that the 2 line, like, it's really nice because you don't need to try as many things. You don't need to make as many errors and, and adjustments along the way, but the 2 line can get kind of stuck and complacent in just doing what you know is gonna be easy or natural. And that 3 line friend can bring in all of this fresh energy and bring you on new experiences that you wouldn't have alone. And for a 2 line, you know, you can kind of hold space for and support the 3 line as they're navigating things, as they're coming upon, you know, errors that they need to change. You can sort of give that ease and that natural energy to support them. And help them sort of ground a little bit. So it's beautiful that we're different, but having a friend, a close friend, or my, my husband, for example, has a 3 in his profile. It is just such a different way of living and of moving through life that honestly, if you don't have this awareness, it can be like, what is wrong with you? And you can end up really judging your friends or your partner. And then when you realize, oh, that's literally just how they're designed and there's actually a lot that I can learn from them., but I just have to give them the acceptance and grace and understand why we move so differently. And it's crazy how just understanding, just being aware that you're different than the people in your life, it eliminates so much resistance, it eliminates so much judgment, it literally creates an energy of harmony and ease just to get it, just to know. And I think that that's a really cool thing about Human Design, because like, life is really not a problem to be solved. You are not a problem to be solved, and your energy is not something that you need to fix. Like, you know, if we're talking about self-improvement and being in the realm of self-improvement, like, we are here to transform ourselves and to be growing and evolving into the higher expression of who we are, but we're not here to fix ourselves. We're not here to become something that we're not. We're just simply here to become the highest expression of what we already are. And I feel like the way that we move through life in general is like we're always trying to change each other, we're trying to change ourselves, we're trying to bend ourselves to fit in because The differences we have are confusing if you don't have this awareness that it's meant to be that way. And it actually creates harmony in our lives if we understand it and allow it in ourselves, but also in other people. Mm.
Yeah, I think this is like what so many of us get from all these different ways of understanding our energy and personalities, whether it's, you know, astrology, Human Design, Enneagram. Like, I think the gift that that gives to a lot of people, whatever you resonate with, is the gift of compassion and like being able to understand the why behind people in your life being so different from you and not making it a problem, but actually just being able to reach that acceptance. It's kind of funny that we need there to be a reason why in order for us to just accept that people are different than we are. But it is helpful to kind of have that why. But you, you spoke about like removing the resistance, right? And, um, you know, I think like at some point we've all felt like we're trying to fit the mold or fit into the box of what society wants from us, what our parents want, or how we believe we to do things in the world, um, and you eventually realize that it's— that's not actually working for us, and there is a lot of resistance there. So I'm curious about, for you two, like, what was the point where you realized that you were kind of swimming upstream, so to speak, in life, and like going against the current and potentially living out of alignment with your design?
Yeah, so, um, for Dane and I, it really was after college when we went out and got, you know, our corporate jobs and did everything right, right? We went to school, we then went out into the world, got really good jobs, were working our way up, we're making a lot of money, and we still had this feeling of like, this is not it. Like, what, what is wrong with me? Why do I feel like I can't do this? Why do I have no energy to do this? Why am I literally looking at the clock every day counting down the minutes till I get to go home? Like, I thought that I followed the formula and I would feel different. And so it kind of led us down this path of self-reflection and study and, you know, learning different modalities, like really looking at astrology and really, you know, um, going on retreats and doing breathwork and yoga and just trying to see what else is out there. And in that process, we heard about Human Design and It was this aha moment of, how have I never been told this information before? Like, I have never seen or been reflected back so clearly in any other system. And we learned that we're both 2/4 projectors, and that was again another like clicked moment of, wow, that's why we're both having this similar struggle. That's why we really resonated, you know, from the start of just really getting each other.
And I feel like it's like the moment from Parent Trap when they both pull out their, like, picture that's, like, ripped in half and they, like, put it together.
It's like, literally, we are literal twins. Yes, yes. And, like, what are we doing? We're supposed to be working 2 to 4 hours a day. How is that even possible, right? Like, how is that possible? And I think that that's a huge, um, uh, problem or, or or hang-up that a lot of projectors face is that they're, they're non-energy beings, but their self-theme is success. How do you have success as a projector in this very corporate world by working 2 to 4 hours a day? Like, what does that really look like? How do you get there? How do you start making that shift? So we really— that's something that we're so passionate about teaching because it's so important, and it is absolutely possible. And for all the other types that have energy, they always hear Oh, projectors are meant to work 2 to 4 hours a day. Must be nice. But for projectors, they're like, yeah, that's what I've always wanted, but how? Like, it's literally impossible.
And well, I think a lot of projectors are also like, must be nice to have a consistent stream of like energy. Yes.
Oh yeah. Like especially one of the big differences between a projector and a generator or a manifesting generator that has a defined sacral is like if a projector gets completely worn out in a day, like completely worn out. Out, then it takes days or weeks of sleep and rest to come back to normal. Whereas someone with a defined sacral— sacral being— if they completely exhaust their energy and they go to bed and they get a really good night of sleep, they wake up in the morning with a fresh tank of gas. And that is one of the things that has been, I think, the hardest for me to observe in other people that have that, like, just the jealousy. I'm like, wow, I have never in my life I've woken up in the morning after like really going hard and just feel like I have a fresh tank of gas. And you know, it's, it's that victimhood energy is— and bitterness, which is the not-self theme for projectors, that, that frequency when you're out of alignment. When I feel that, I know like that's my own check engine light, like check yourself, because that jealousy you're feeling, that bitterness you're feeling towards someone else's design that's not yours, that victimhood energy is not serving you, that's a signpost that you're out of alignment and that I've been burning the candle at both ends too much, or that I've been not taking care of myself or not following my own energetic navigation system. So it's like, it's really interesting. I feel like there's like different phases of accepting your design, and, and people go through them at different times. But there's definitely a phase for a lot of us that it's like, I wish I had a different design. And the goal ultimately is to be like, I love my design, I love that this is my energy. But it takes a lot of of work, you know, to really get there. And sort of like self-responsibility and self-accountability to see the way that your design is perfect and that it's here to really help you accomplish everything that you're meant to. Um, that, that work and that feeling is honestly like the goal, because that's self-acceptance and self-love. And when you have that, you can give that out to other people and heal the world with it.
So when you're in corporate and you realize like, I'm only meant to work 2 to 4 hours, were you like, all right, so let's quit? Or was it like— I'm sure, of course, there's ways to work around it, because not everyone can just like, you know, create their own schedule and be an entrepreneur or a stay-at-home mom or someone that has a little bit more of like this kind of capacity to control their entire day. But yeah, for you guys, you obviously weren't happy in like the corporate kind of grind. That was you trying to fit, fit in the box of like, this is what we were supposed to do, this is not making us happy. And then you also realize it's against your design. So was that the moment that you decided to shift everything, or did it take some rock bottom or some other pivotal thing to really like move you in that direction.

Yeah, so what happened for us is we started observing, okay, what in my day-to-day work life feels draining for me, feels like work, and what feels fascinating, feels like I could learn more about it, or I could do this all day but it doesn't feel exhausting for me. And so getting that inventory and really seeing like what are those things And then for those things that feel draining, can we set a timer and literally only do those for 2 to 3 hours in that day and then do the rest of the fascinating things for the rest of that time? And so sometimes that was like, you know, I have energy to go talk to my other coworkers or to do in-person meetings with my boss. Um, it feels really easy for me to be reaching out to different clients, right? It felt really draining to have to build out different programs or have to, you know, hire people or fire people or whatever. Like, really, um, listing those things out and then setting that timer and being really strict about it. And the crazy thing is that projectors are so efficient because we don't have that much energy to, to waste at all. So nobody noticed that we were setting that timer and that we were working less on those draining things. Like, literally no one noticed because you get done in a week more than the average person does in a week because you're trying to be so efficient as a projector in general. But this tricky part is that projectors really need and love recognition. And if you're familiar with the 5 types, you know that for projectors, recognition is something that, um, works well with their strategy of waiting for the invitation. They have to first be recognized and then invited. And so when a projector is recognized, it feels good. It feels like, wow, this person sees me. This person wants my gifts. This person values me. And the tricky thing is getting recognized for doing something that is not in alignment for you can be really confusing because the recognition feels good. And so then you feel like you can keep going. And so really breaking down and doing that inventory of, okay, what drains me? What feels fascinating? Then I got a really clear picture of, okay, Hey, um, you know, doing the HR side of my business really fascinates me, and meeting with people in person and giving them insight and advice and tweaks really fascinates me. And then from there, keep going. Like, okay, well, why? What about it? Maybe it's their psychology. Maybe it's making people feel really seen. Maybe it's making people feel loved and valued. Okay, why? Like, literally keep going down— I like to say— the fascination rabbit hole. Until you've gotten it really clear of like, I like helping people live their life purpose and feel like they're valued in the workplace, right? As an example. Then it's about seeing yourself, recognizing yourself with those things. And we really said, okay, for one month we are going to live our strategy and make decisions with our authority every single day as much as possible. And so setting that timer really getting clear on those fascinations. And then any decision that comes up, we're going to use our authorities, which Dana and I have different authorities. Dana is emotional authority. She needs to give herself time to make sure she's neutral before making a big decision. And I have G-center authority, where I need to talk it out and hear what my truth is, and really asking myself, does this feel like it's on my path, or does it feel like it's kind of this separate path, like it's a parallel path, there's a fork in the road, and it's just not really my life. And through making decisions that way for that one month and cutting back on those draining things, literally so many invitations came in, like, you guys should start a podcast, you should, you know, like, I want to buy these services. Literally people wanting to book readings with us just because we were so fascinated in Human Design and we're talking about what we're fascinated in, not you know, asking people, do you want a reading? But just talking about what we're into. We followed our strategy and authority to a T as much as possible for one month, and by the end of that month, we had so much clarity on exactly what we wanted to do. We had clients, we had money coming in, and we didn't even have a business. So we're like, okay, let's start a business and let's just keep going with following our strategy and authority. And that sounds like really simple— just follow your strategy and authority for a month and your whole life will change. Change, but truly it really, really will. But you have to actually follow it because you might hear something from your authority that says, you know, this isn't right for me, and that's really scary. If you don't take the action step, like the first next action step, nothing in your life is going to change. It doesn't mean that you have to say like, okay, I know this job isn't right for me, I have to quit tomorrow. It's saying, okay, well, what's the first step in that? Is Is it looking up other jobs online? Is it talking to my partner about the fact that I'm unhappy in this job and I want something different? Is it talking to my boss about quitting some sort of activities there and/or shifting my role? Like, what is that next step? And can you take just a little bit of action towards that and see how your energy has less resistance when you're operating in alignment and listening to it, to where those roadblocks that you mentally thought would pop up don't actually pop up, because now you're moving throughout this physical world, this energetic world, in energetic flow and alignment versus swimming upstream, having that resistance. That's when you have those mental roadblocks that you're thinking are going to happen in the future when you're out of alignment. So it's kind of experimenting and seeing, wow, when I listen to my energetic flow and my alignment, my strategy and authority things work out for me. Problems get solved. Things that I thought were going to happen didn't. And then you just keep trusting yourself more, keep leaning in more, and really things change so quickly because it's just as— as you go as far as, um, you're willing to go. Like, the universe will meet you where you're willing to meet yourself. So that's what we did, and it changed our whole lives.
This is so, so interesting to think about. So I I'm pretty sure that my strategy is to respond, and I'm sacral authority. Okay, so given those two things, if I were to try this experiment, any like advice that you might give for how to like lean into those two things?
Yeah, so that whole process that we talked about is because we're projectors, right? We have the less energy, all of that stuff. So that was our process for transforming Cutting back our hours, what fascinates me, talking about those things, all of that, letting invitations come in and then using our authorities, which we have different ones. So if you are a manifesting generator, then your strategy is to respond and you have a secondary strategy called informing because you're kind of a hybrid between a generator and a manifesting generator. So overall, living in a state of response means that you are being— sorry, go ahead.
A generator and a manifester.
I just wanted to clarify.
Oh, sorry, you're hybrid between the two.
And so if you're living in a state of response, you're really being present in this moment and responding to the stimuli in your environment, literally what is coming into your field, responding to those things with your body and not your mind. So in order to live in a state of response, first you have to be present. And as a manifesting generator, you are so quick. You are also the efficiency queen, just like projectors are. So you're 10 steps ahead, you're 10 years ahead. You're thinking about what's next, what's next, what's next. So to come back to this present moment and to actually take, um, take inventory of what's showing up in your life, the conversations that are coming to you, the opportunities that are coming to you, the advertisements you're seeing on your phone, phone or the poster you're seeing in the coffee shop? Like, are you actually being aware of the stimuli that's coming into your field, seeing it, being with it, and then having your body's response indicate to you whether that thing is in alignment for you to follow up with or not? So let's say, for example, you are in a job that you don't like and you are completely full, um, your energy is being used up, you're feeling really drained, and you want to make a transformation. In order to start living in a state of response and practicing that response you do actually need to create a little bit of open space, kind of the same way that we did as projectors, creating a little bit more open space through working less. For you as a sacral being, so as a manifesting generator or a generator, we like to say it's about like managing your forest, cutting down the dead trees and creating just a little bit of open space. So we would also want you to be looking at what are the tasks I'm doing in my day that light me up? What are the tasks tasks that are kind of draining me. The ones that drain me are my dead trees that I need to cut out and clear out one at a time, just create that open fresh space in my forest. And in that open space, I can really practice being present, paying attention to the stimuli that comes into my field, and responding with my body. So once something comes into your field, you come across, you know, a poster or an advertisement or a conversation, and your body responds with like excitement, engine turn on. You might even hear yourself be like, ooh, that's super cool. That's a sacral response, and that's your body indicating, giving you this green light. This thing is aligned for you, follow through. And so that's when you would want to use your authority if it was a big decision. If it's something small like a yoga class and your body sees the poster and you're like, oh hell yeah, I'm trying to be in that yoga class, then you can just follow through. You don't need to like use your authority, it's not a bigger decision. But if it's something big like you're seeing, you know, a class that's a huge investment and your body responds with all this energy and excitement, you're like, ooh, I want to do that, and let's say it's a big decision for you, then it would be about using your authority. And for you having sacral authority, it's actually the same energetic response coming from your sacral. If your sacral is turned on, engine is a go, and it is a hell yes in your body— you feel energy, you feel excitement, you feel enthusiasm, you feel alive— that's a yes for you. And if it's anything less than that, if it's like a kind of good feeling or an almost, that's actually a no for now. And you can circle back, you can check in with that poster tomorrow when you go to the coffee shop again, you could have the conversation again in a week. But what's really important for sacral authority is it's that first feeling you feel. But if it's not a hell yes, it's a hell no. So watching out for mediocrity is really important because a lot of times someone will be like, hey, do you want to work on this thing with me? Or you'll see this opportunity and your body's like, yeah, it kind of seems interesting, it doesn't seem bad, but it doesn't seem like 100% a hell yes, that's your body and your inner authority indicating not right now. This is not right for you right now, and it could change later, or it could never be right for you. But the big difference for you is that you're designed to live in complete spontaneity. You're just being present, you're living life, you're letting things come to you. And when you bump into something, which happens happens all the time. And when you're really being present, you see that there's literally always something to respond to, which— that can be a big fear. It can be like, if I'm just supposed to wait around to respond to things, like, will anything good ever come? But the truth is, literally, life is always bringing you something, especially with technology. Like, are you— if you see someone doing something on Insta, on your Instagram feed, and your body illuminates with excitement and gets that positive response, response, pay attention to that. That's your body telling you, I want to do that thing that they're doing. And it's real for you if your body is getting that energy response versus your mind. And that's the tricky thing, is that our mind has so many stories about what we should like, or what we used to like, or what makes sense to want to do. And your body might really surprise you. Your body might respond to something random as shit, like, you know, for example, fashion. And you're like, well, I've never studied that. I've never done that before. I never saw myself doing that, but I'm getting— my body is getting excited. Excited when I see this thing. And so jumping off that cliff and following it and taking that action step when it literally doesn't make sense to your mind, it takes so much courage, it takes so much bravery, and it doesn't make sense to other people when you tell people about it. You're like, yeah, I got really excited when I saw this, let's say the fashion thing. I'm going back to school for fashion. People will be like, what? Like, how? When did you decide that? You're like, well, I literally just saw it yesterday. And so in order to do this process of following your strategy and authority, whatever it is, something that you need to know is that people are going to question you because it doesn't make sense to the mind. People are going to be like, wait, why are you doing that? Wait, when did you change your mind on this? Um, this is not something that you've ever talked about before. And it's really important to have so much self-confidence and attunement to your own inner compass that you're willing to move through that even when people don't get where you're going. And that was a huge theme for us, like, with quitting our corporate jobs. Like, our parents, everyone in our life was like, are you guys crazy? You're gonna quit your jobs and start this business around Human Design, which at that time literally no one had ever heard of. I mean, it's gaining popularity now, but at that time people were like, this is not gonna work. Like, what are you doing? You need to do these other things. And dealing with Navigating that disappointment with others because you love and trust your inner compass so much takes so much courage, but it's definitely the thing that will get you unstuck and will get you moving forward on the life that your soul really came here to live.
I'm smiling because it's like so much of my story, even before I knew what Human Design was, of like when I studied abroad when I was in college and I met this guy and we fell in love accidentally. I left and I was like, I'm probably never gonna see him again. But then we kept talking and I was like, this really feels like, you know, it's a legitimate connection. We really have feelings for each other. I think like I might love this guy. And so then, you know, finishing my last year of, of school and we were kind of found ourselves in this like long-distance relationship, I guess. And at that point I sort of decided, you know, I think I'm gonna decline my corporate job offers and not get a job after school, and I think I'm going to move to Spain and see where this goes, you know, with this, with this relationship. Um, and I had wanted to travel and, you know, become fluent in Spanish. And there were of course other reasons, but the main reason was, was him. And so of course that was like, you know, a big eye roll of a choice. Like, you met a guy on Tinder, you knew him for 3 months, and now you're gonna like blow up your whole career. You just, you know, spent all this money to get a degree. You're not like, you're gonna go teach English in a school which has nothing to do with what you studied. You're to make horrible money, like sacrifice a lot of like the kickstart of your career just for this guy. Like, are you sure? I feel like that was the energy from a lot of people in my life was like, are you sure? Because this seems like a really dumb idea. But anyways, um, we're engaged and we're getting married and we've been together for 10 years, so it all worked out. Oh wow. Yeah. Gosh. Wow. Yeah. So it all worked out. I moved to Spain and, and, um, I was like, I'm gonna give it a year. 'cause anything can happen. And if I don't, like, at least I'll travel and like I'll live my life. I wasn't super passionate or excited about the idea of going into the corporate world anyways. I had one corporate internship that summer and I was kind of like, okay, this— I'm not giving up that much. Let's be honest here, this frickin cubicle lifestyle. So yeah, I was like, let's give one year and we'll see what happens. And so I stayed for 6 and we lived there together for a while and now we're back in the States. The States and bought a house and live on the beach and we're going to get married and all the things. So, but that, that's like, you know, just, oh, I guess what you were describing, I was smiling because I'm like, that was my life. And I don't think you really even need to know or be able to like put words to your design. It just is your design. And so I felt that so deeply of like, I knew in my gut, yes, that I wanted to do that. And it really didn't matter to me I knew that people were gonna have opinions about it, and of course I was like wanting people to support me and was like sensitive to the fact that my whole family was standing around the kitchen table and my brother was like, you're an idiot, Sam. And I'm like, okay, that doesn't feel good, but I knew I was gonna do it anyways kind of vibes, you know what I mean? Like, it was just— it wasn't like no one's gonna talk me out of it. It was just like, I have to get through these conversations, but I know what I'm gonna do.
Yeah.
Yes. And it really is all about trusting yourself, right? And like, when you get that clarity— you said it perfectly— like, your sacral is a gut response. And some people are like, what is a gut response like in my day-to-day life? And we would say like that energy or that lack of energy, um, but it is that, that gut feeling. And when it is a hell yes, it's really about being spontaneous and trusting yourself. So now in your day-to-day life, you know, as you're navigating just regular days. It's really asking yourself as a sacral being, what's in front of me right now, right? This presence. How does my body feel? Do I have energy or not? And can I listen? And if you can, great, amazing, follow it, take action on whatever it's telling you. If you can't, just take note, like, okay, I'm doing something that my body is dragging through the mud to do. But I have to do it anyways. Okay. Or I'm doing something that my body is— has like blah. Okay, noted. Um, but ideally a generator or a man gen's day-to-day life would literally be like, open the fridge and feel like, do I feel pulled towards any of these things in here? No. Okay, go look at your car. Like, do I feel like I want to hop in my car? And it's like, no. Okay, go into your backyard. Like, do I feel like I want to be out here and move my body? Yes, okay, that's what I'm gonna do right now. And it's really letting your body lead you moment to moment to be in the right place at the right time, to overhear that conversation like Dana was saying, or see that poster, or, you know, be on your phone or read that book, like whatever that is to get that like, ooh, that's what I want to be doing next. Now when we say responding, I think sometimes people, uh, feel like that's disempowering, like waiting to respond. But you are here to take action. Like, any of the types can be an entrepreneur, can start their own business, can be a creative, can be a guide. They— anyone can do any of those things. Human Design isn't going to tell you, um, what to do as far as like your career or what you want to pursue. It's just going to tell you, okay, you want to be a guide, great, or spiritual teacher, great. Here's how you go about building that. It's for you as a generator, or man gen, it's really letting your body lead you moment to moment to get that, that inspiration of, ooh, that's what I want to be doing next. Then take the action, build the website, call the people, make it happen. Um, as a projector, it's really getting clear on, okay, what fascinates me and why, and letting that fascination piece be the core of letting— so that way people recognize you for what you genuinely want to be helping people with and resting, resting, resting. Um, the big difference between mangens and generators and projectors is that a man gen or generator can be, um, in love with something and have endless energy to work on it, right? Like, I am just so in love with this, I want to show up every single day and pour into this thing. Whereas a projector can be in love with something and have zero energy energy to work on it. And so it can't be faked, right? And that doesn't mean that it's not aligned for you, whereas for a generator, a man-gen, it kind of does. It means it's not aligned for you to work on it in this moment. And if you continually feel like you're dragging through the mud to go work on this thing, it's not aligned for you. Whereas for a projector, you're gonna feel like you're dragging through the mud 90% of your life, and that's just because you don't have energy the same way that other people do. So it doesn't mean that thing is not right for you. It just means that you need a nap and you need like a week to detox. And you also then need to connect in with like, why does this thing fascinate me? And that like mental fascination zone is going to give you that burst of energy. So I know we've talked a lot about, you know, mangens and generators and projectors, and the manifestors and reflectors have obviously a completely different way of navigating. But I do want just say, I guess, looping in manifestors since you are a man-gen, um, informing is such a big part of your day-to-day, and it's like the main way that manifestors operate. So I would encourage you, Sam, as you are moving through your day with that presence, listening to your body, to then tell your partner, or if you have business partners or people that you're working with, like, tell them, hey, this is what I'm thinking. Like, hey, I just got lit up by this thing, I'm gonna go explore that. Hey, I'm gonna go to the grocery store right now instead of at dinner. Um, informing them and bringing them in on the loop will just help them feel like they're part of your flow. It'll eliminate resistance. They won't be getting that whiplash of like, what? I thought we talked about that we were going to do groceries tonight together. Like, why would you go now? Like, it really, um, helps them get on your team and things feel easier. So you still need to inform, but not as much, I would say, as a manifestor needs to be informing all the time.
That's so interesting. Manifestors need to be informing all the time. What is— what would it be for reflectors, just really quickly out of curiosity?
Yeah, so reflectors, it really is about asking like, who am I today? And not letting yourself be so boxed in by how you felt yesterday. And asking what— who are the people that feel good around me? Let me go be near them. Who are the projects or the places or environments that feel good? What are the ones that don't? Really looking at your health as a reflector. And if you're not feeling good, like, really taking a look at your environment or your work environment or, um, the people that you're around day to day.
And for reflectors, absorb, right? They like absorb a lot of what's around them.
Yes. So their whole chart is completely open and they are reflecting the world around them. So So if a reflector is unwell, then they're in an environment that is unwell in some way. And they're designed to have this, um, freedom of to— like, of not boxing themselves in, not being consistent. Meaning if they're working in a job, let's say, that feels really good to them, and they're like, I love doing this management position great. But maybe today you show up at, you know, as a manager that is checking in and popping into everybody's offices. Maybe the next day you're really just hermiting away in your office. Maybe the next day you're working remotely. Um, like letting yourself have that flexibility of, of playfulness with your work would be ideal. And if your job doesn't give you that right now, then it's just starting to soundboard, communicate that Um, giving yourself time for new things to drop in. So Reflectors operate just in such a different way because they kind of are all the types. Um, I think, and they're none of the types, right?
I think I never went through the stage of not liking my design. I think I was like, I got the good one.
I think I got the good one.
Yeah, you did.
You did. You got, and you also got an easy, like, they're all good. They're all good.
They're all good.
But I remember being like, the fact that you got, that you have sacral authority and then you're living from response with your sacral, it's, it's like you have one operating system. Other manifesting generators that are here to respond, they could have emotional authority, and then they have a more complicated navigation system than you do. And it's really like they're having to shift back and forth between following their sacral and being spontaneous for small decisions, and then slowing down, shifting gears, giving themselves plenty of time for big decisions. And they're constantly navigating and doing this triage of like, is this a small decision or a big decision? Because they have two operation systems. So you have kind of like a simple, um, energy, and it's really nice because you get to just go. You don't have to hold yourself back. You don't have to, you know, check in with other things. But I did want to reflect back, Sam, that something really cool about your story about meeting your fiancé and trusting yourself, and this was before you knew your Human Design. I wanted to highlight that our design is our natural state. It is our natural energetic blueprint, the way that our energy mechanics our genetics are designed to function. So without external pressure and conditioning, we would just live our uniqueness naturally. Like, this is our natural state. But the thing is, we are so deeply conditioned about how we're meant to be, how we should be, how we should make decisions. Literally, our entire society is founded on this idea of external authority. You need to consult your doctor who went to medical school 'You don't actually know. You need to consult your professor who has a degree in this. You actually don't know the answer here.' Like, you're con— we're constantly taught to consult the experts, to weigh the pros and cons on a mental level, and all of that energy pulls us away from our natural design of following your gut instincts. For you, for example, so without any of that conditioning, without any of those stories, it would be natural for you to just follow your own design. But the truth is, like, life has kind of conditioned us away from it. So learning how to embrace our design is not about becoming something new. It's about unlearning, unbecoming all of the stuff that we took on that was never our true self.
I know it's so interesting when you look at kids and you're like, that's just like, they are such a natural expression of who they truly are. And then it's our conditioning. I think we live in like a generator's world. Oh, definitely. And we live in a world that like wants everything to be very logical and linear, and that's where we kind of like, like you said, get pulled away from what our true nature is. But I also kind of hold the belief that if you can cultivate a true sense of self-love and confidence and self-trust within yourself, you naturally fall in line with your design. Like you're able to not be consumed by the conditioning. I think at least that's sort of like what happened for me is like, well, you know, how were you able to make that decision that you knew was going to like disappoint a lot of people and made no logical sense for your career and you weren't going to make money and it was, you know, probably a bad idea under most people's perspectives? The only— of course I felt that sacral response, but the only reason I was actually able able to follow that secret response was because I was a self-loving, self-respecting, self-trusting individual, and I had that confidence to just be like, this is what I want to do, so I'm going to do it no matter what, what you guys think. So I do think that, you know, the work that we do on ourselves in a lot of different ways, spiritually and otherwise, ultimately helps us, like you said, kind of peel back those layers of conditioning so that we can naturally be in our design, and it doesn't have to feel like work or like a project to be functioning in our design, but it's more just like, oh, okay, I can be who I am now.
Yeah, allowing your design, um, and embracing it and just going with what feels good. I think that for me and a lot of people, um, a big hang-up— like, I heard so much messaging of be yourself, be yourself, be yourself growing up, and I kept feeling like, okay, great, how? Wow, who is that? Who am I? I have no idea. And having Human Design really give me these tools like my strategy and authority, and even, you know, it goes into showing you like how you learn and, um, how you teach, like what we were talking about with your profile. But it gets into all of your gifts and your life purpose and the highest expression and the lowest expression. It just is so insanely detail. It's the most detailed reflection that we've come across. And it's— that part of it was just so empowering because our mind is constantly trying to compare and be like, oh well, am I like this person? Or this person was successful, do I need to do it how they did it? And getting that reflection of, oh, these are my gifts, these are the things that are natural for me, these are the reasons why I've always just kind of done that, but I didn't know I could, or I didn't know that that was valuable or consistent, and that's why this works for them but it doesn't work for me. All of that information was invaluable, um, and so helpful in, in building my own self-love and my own self-confidence. Um, and it's, it's really cool to, to be able to share that reflection with other people and see that confidence build. But when you have, you know, you're talking about like the world is Built for Generators. There's so many generators who are so taken advantage of because of that conditioning and because of our minds, you know, really trying to run the show and say like, put your head down and work, sacrifice yourself for others. That's what makes you a good parent. That's what makes you a good, um, leader is you do the hard things, you do the things that nobody else wants to do, right? We have so much conditioning around giving our power away And so yes, the world is built for generators because that's the messaging of like, just go to bed, wake up and do the thing and go to bed and live for the weekend.
No one cares. No one cares. Just do it.
Exactly. And generators are really good at just doing it. But then 10 years, 20 years go by and they're so burnt out, their light is so dimmed, and maybe they're sick. Maybe they feel like they missed their whole entire life. And that's because generators, while they have this energy, they are meant to be lit the fuck up. Like, genuinely wanting to take a bite out of life and have that like, ooh, delicious feeling that we're talking about with everything. Like, ooh, I can't wait to answer this email. Like, ooh, I can't wait to meet with this person or this friend or go to that place. Like, that feeling of being so deliciously in love with life. That's what generators and mangens are here to be, and that is so magnetic, right? It spills out of you and it feeds everyone else around you. So if you're listening to this and you're like, yeah, I'm a generator and the world was meant, like, built for me, but I feel trapped, or I feel burnt out, or I feel exhausted, um, I don't feel like I wake up every day with a brimming cup of energy, that it's often because you are sacrificing yourself for what you feel people need you to do. And, or you're people pleasing and you feel—
yeah, you're just kind of like directing your limitless energy to the wrong things. That's not—
you have, exactly.
You have so much to give, but you're like giving it to things that aren't actually, you know, providing that feeling of like, I'm so excited about this. This feels like juicy, delicious, enchanting. Yes. Can't wait to work on this.
Yes. So what, what Dana said about like watching out for mediocrity, that is the slippery slope into being drained and giving your power away and sacrificing yourself for other people. Because it's like, if it's not bad, then sure, it's fine. And you create this life then magnetically that is okay and that's fine. Like, if you say yes to mediocrity as a magnet— and which all Generators and Mangens are literally magnets attracting— you are going to be attracting mediocrity constantly. So the more that you can just say like, if you catch yourself being like, sure, then be like, hold on, actually let me look at the next restaurant on DoorDash, or like, let me pull up the next thing to, to where I'm really like, ooh, I want to eat that, it feels good for me to eat that. Not just like, it's sustenance, I want to move on to the next thing, it's fine, it doesn't matter.
Yeah, sometimes I find that exhausting because it's like everything needs to almost not be perfect, but you know, everything kind of does. It's Um, what's the, what's the children's book where they are tasting all the porridge and trying out all the beds?
And Three Little Goldies.
Yes, yes, yes. It's like that. It's like you have to find the one that's just right. Just right. Exactly, exactly. And like, like that, like my whole life is like that with like what hotel we're gonna stay at, restaurants that we're going to, like decisions that we're going to make, how we're going to decorate this room. I'm planning a wedding right now and it's like, oh gosh. And it can feel like, is this perfectionism? Is this me just like, like literally needing everything to be the best of the best? But it's not the best of the best. It's just the best for me because when the right thing comes along, I get that like illuminated feeling where it's really easy for me to say yes. If it's kind of this like teetering, like it's complicated for me to say yes because logically it's fine, but like I don't feel it in my body. I hate those things. So I love that you've called out the like watch out for mediocrity because it's not like we're all all moving through life saying yes to the worst kind of things or like choosing really horrible avenues for ourselves. We're just choosing mediocre things, and those mediocre things add up to create a life of a lot of discomfort, a lot of misalignment, a lot of resistance, and a lot of burnout.
Yes, absolutely. And for anyone with sacral, a defined sacral, so they have, you know, the strategy of responding, little things like eating a breakfast that you hated because it was more convenient and you just had it there and you didn't want it to do that. You can't do it.
It pisses me off. It's so— it's like a complication. It's an unnecessary complication to my life. I think that's one of the things when, when you were talking about opening the fridge and every day you're like, okay, let me just see, because that's how I need to live, because I can't eat the same thing over and over and over again. It's too monotonous, it's too boring. But as like a busy entrepreneur, I'm like, I need a set routine. I need to know every day I'm just going to make this smoothie or have the same breakfast because it has the right protein. But like, I can't, no, I can't do it.
And doing that will throw out— throw you out of alignment slightly. And the rest of the day you have to work on coming back into alignment just from eating a breakfast.
So it is crucial for you.
And what you're talking about, do all of the decisions in your life that are not directly connected to your life path, you know, decision— smaller decisions you're making with your wedding, things like that, they absolutely do add up for you and they do tip the scales. And it can tip the scale off of alignment for you. In other areas of your life, you will be misaligned because of these smaller decisions that you didn't listen to your body to. So it is, it's not about being perfect. That's why Shayna said, we like to say with Sacral Response, it's like, what's in front of me now is the first question. How does my body feel about it? And can I listen is the third question. And that's important for us because it's not about perfectionism. If you can't listen to what your body really wants in your breakfast, it's okay. Like it's not the end of the world. You know, if you have to do laundry right now because you're a mom and your kids need their soccer clothes and you don't want to but you have to, it's okay. Like, don't panic. But just knowing I'm doing something right now that my body wasn't into, and that means it's not really in alignment for me, but I do have to do it right now— just having that awareness alone is such a huge step forward versus you don't even realize, you're not even checking in with your body, you're just doing things that drain you you, doing things that you don't want to do all day long, and you don't even know. That is going to really lead to misalignment. But if you need to do some things that are not perfect for you, but you still have that loving awareness, that's a good thing. So it's not about being perfect, but it is about just knowing, ideally, if I want my best, most aligned, juicy, magnetic life, I'm going to take the time to actually do the things that are real for me, right for me. And you know, your sacral energy is so prominent. If we're talking about energetically, like, if the three of us were going out to lunch— Shayna and I do not have defined sacral as projectors— we would be asking you, like, Sam, do you want this? And getting your sacral response. Do you want that? Do you want this? And that is actually important for us because you would be the energetic leader as far as the way our energy mechanics form as a group. And so if you didn't like what we were eating for lunch, Shayna and I would be off too. Versus, you know, but we don't have that sacral, so for us it's less important. Like, we could just kind of like, you know, go with the flow a bit more on those small things. And actually, we would, as projectors, want to help guide you towards what your sacral wants, and then that would be what is aligned for our whole group. And it's important to mention that because that group dynamic with Human Design is really critical. We feel like we're taught that if we follow our inner compass that it's selfish, that it's self-serving, that it's going to create discord when it comes to our relationships or our friend groups or our family. But actually, our alignment or misalignment impacts other people so much. And what the group dynamic needs for harmony is every individual being in alignment.
So you're—
it's like very counterintuitive. It's not selfish at all. So instead, we in Human Design have this phrase enlightened selfishness, for anyone with a sacral, um, defined— anyone that's living in that state of response. But for a lot of people, we would say enlightened selfishness is the way, because if you're not taking care of yourself and doing what's aligned and real and correct for yourself, you are literally bringing messed up energy into every relationship, into every project you work on, into every business that you're a part of. It's almost like your sacred responsibility is how you are accountable for the energy you bring into other people's lives, making sure that you're aligned first.
Yeah, it's kind of, you know, like the classic saying of like, you can't pour from an empty cup, put your oxygen mask on first. Like, it's just another iteration of that, right? Of like, you being in alignment with yourself actually brings more alignment to the group. When you are feeling your most lit up, nourished, alive, happy, joyful, like, you have more to give, and therefore everyone else's energy is positively impacted by that as well. This, this conversation went in a totally different direction than I was, than I was expecting it to do. But I love when, when that happens because obviously it's like the conversation that like wants to come forward and it's been really valuable to me. And I think, you know, it's going to be valuable to everyone listening as well. Just this conversation of deep alignment and what that actually means in our life and our work and daily decisions and all these things. But the last thing I'd love to ask you guys about quickly is on that same sort of vein, when it comes to routines, like daily habits and routines, um, kind of staying tapped into your most aligned path. For the people that are listening to us today, if you could share just like one or two simple steps for them to feel more alive, to feel that kind of like juicy decadence that we were talking about from life, and it could be Human Design related or not. Like, what would be one or two of the main things that you would say, like, do this and you will feel more alive and more light?
Oh my gosh, there's so many ways that we could go with this because there's so much in the chart. Um, one thing that I'll say, um, is when it comes to routines and rituals, um, in general, the top left arrow— if you're looking at your Human Design chart, you'll see these arrows on your chart, the top left arrow, if it's pointing left, it means that eating the same thing every day, doing the, you know, your go-to rituals, uh, your go-to restaurants, your go-to things, that consistency is really good. If it's pointing right, you need flow, you need variety, you don't need to eat the same thing every day. It's actually going to be draining for your, your mind, um, and, and your body. So, um, that's just a small little thing that you can look at and be. But when it comes to, you know, um, homework, homework assignments of like living more in alignment right now, if you are a manifesting generator or a generator, I would say if you could set a goal of every, you know, for 3 days this week, I— every meal that I eat, I'm going— it's going to be a hell yes meal. Like a literal like, ooh, that's delicious, from breakfast till dinner Every meal that I eat for the next 3 days is going to be an ooh, hell yes. Um, and listen, follow that. That might mean that you're getting in the car and driving. That might mean that you're DoorDashing, whatever that is. Um, and then for projectors, I would really, um, encourage you for the next 3 days to rest, to set a timer for those hard output things, see if anybody even notices, and to ask yourself that question of what fascinates me, like truly, because you might surprise yourself. Um, it might be, you know, murder mystery documentaries or something. Like, really asking, don't judge it, fascinates me, don't judge it, and ask why. Like, why is it that I can't wait to get home and turn on this, like, documentary? What is it about?
Highlight the difference between fascination. Fascination is mental. It's psychological for projectors. It's like, ooh, my mind has a million questions and I want to see deeper and I want to uncover layers. And you will literally feel the buzzing electricity sort of in your mind versus being a sacral being, a generator, or a manifesting generator. You feel it in your gut, in your body. That's where that energy response is. So I just wanted to highlight that because it does feel very different, even though obviously you're looking for the things are lighting you up. I mean, we could use that word for either one, but for projectors, fascination is really like a mental psychological curiosity.
Yeah. And for manifestors, I would just say, set 3 days and inform and say everything that you're thinking, if you can, to the people around you, or just to the universe. Like, literally, if you could say for 3 days, I'm going to talk out loud to the universe every morning and every night saying the things that I'm grateful for and the things that I want to change for the next 3 days. That would be your assignment. And for Reflectors, I would just say, um, oh gosh, I would say to start journaling every single morning. How do— what, what's like one sentence? How am I feeling right now? And then at the end of the day, journal the question, how did I feel today? And then do that for 3 And you'll see how that's going to shift and change if you just have that open-ended question, one-liner in the morning, one-liner at night. So those are like really simple things, but, um, they're doable and they make a huge impact based on your design.
So cool. I love those. Dana, do you have anything you wanna add? Like quick tips of feeling more alive?
I just wanna say, yeah, for generators and manifesting generators, the body is so important for you. It's important for everyone, but for you it's like your number one thing. So I always like to say, pay attention to your senses, to the true meaning of sensuality. Smells that are delicious and fabrics that just feel so yummy and movement in your body that just feels like, mm, right? Like you're getting that sacral engine going. Food that tastes delicious. Like, that's why Shayna said that point. But I just wanted to say, anything that is engaging in your senses is. It's helping you get deeper into your body. It's helping you become more present, which is a key component to living in a state of response. And it's fun, it's delicious. It's like the best part of being alive is all of those things. So just paying attention to that— it's not a homework assignment at all. It is a delicious celebration of life, and it will change— it will change your state to just be focusing on those things, even in small ways. It's like bring an essential oil to work at your desk and take a break and just smell it, or stand up and play a song and move your body and just really focus on the body and the senses. Um, I would say for projectors, um, find a space in your life where you are fully recognized. Maybe that's online, maybe it's an online forum, maybe it's a, a friend that you haven't talked to in a really long time, but you just felt like you could just vibe with them and they saw your wisdom and you'd have the deepest, coolest conversations call that person. Like, find that bestie, because it's important to have a space where you can just flow, where you're not waiting for the invitation. You're already invited. So like, for Shane and I both being projectors, a lot of times that happens with two projectors. You just see each other so deeply. And like, Shane and I used to like lay on the floor and talk about like aliens and the— how the universe is like an illusion. And people will be like, did you guys smoke something? We were like, No, we're just going so deep. We love each other. We have an open invitation to just go forever. And it was so healing for us to have a space, a person in our lives that really recognized us, where we were really invited, where we could just flow and be seen. And so cultivate that as a projector. If there is a person who invites you, call them, make time to be with them, have conversations with them. Um, with reflectors, we— the moon is such an important energy in your life. For all of the other four types, you're really a solar being, but for reflectors, you're a lunar being. So connecting with the moon, doing moon rituals, being out and gazing at the moon, making moon water, which is really simple— you're just wanting to put water out in the moonlight so it's absorbing the photons that are filtered through the moon and then consuming that— like, just connecting with the moon in general will help you connect to your nature instead of to the societal chaos that you feel like you need to connect to. You. Um, and then with manifestors, manifestors are really here to be bold and to do whatever the hell they want. And so I always like to say with manifestors, a really fun way to experiment with that is dressing literally however the hell you want. Maybe that is sweatpants to work, maybe that is wearing something just wild like a hot pink outfit even though you're just going to the grocery store, but just experimenting with boldness this out of pure authenticity. And it's really cool to see the small little ways that you can just start honoring yourself today without making any big changes, and you can just feel that feeling of honoring yourself, of building more confidence through that. Um, so I really love that Human Design is so experiment— experiential, and something that you can really experiment with and then feel that energy inside of you. It doesn't have to be always ways your physical life or like the external reflecting. It can really be those internal shifts, and then you start to feel so much more self-love because of that.
Yeah, and we know that that's how we change our outer world, right, is by changing our inner world first. So when you focus on your energy and what's going on for you internally, you start to reflect that and attract that in the external world. And so then all the other things kind of inevitably fall in place when we take care our energy and our thoughts and our internal world, that's what ultimately helps us manifest, like, the opportunities and the ideas and the creativity. And there's the business. And like, none of us have ever known what that end result was going to be when we were at the starting line. So it's always like just continuing to do that work within, and then so within, it is without as well in the world. So I love that. I hope everyone listening enjoyed these, like, really, really tangible simple ways that they can start living more in alignment today with their design and feeling more alive. This has been like so helpful, and you know, selfishly, obviously, like helpful for me as well. You guys shared so much about my design and, um, just living more in alignment with that and giving me a big permission slip too to just like, you know, in a lot of ways, like I am living in my natural design, but I feel like most people, I feel that resistance to it or that, like, want a sense of feeling that it's wrong for some reason because, like, it should be more systemized or I should be able to be consistent or it should be easier or whatever. And so just understanding that, like, no, I shouldn't— like, I, I'm going to have to think about what I want to eat every day for the rest of my life. And it's probably never going to be the same. There's never going to be a routine to it. And I'm probably going to get bored of my workouts and have to, like, find something new and always be changing and just flowing. And that's why I don't have a morning routine. And it makes sense why it never stuck and why I don't need one. And so just, you know, that, that permission slip as we spoke about and having more compassion not only for others but also for ourselves. So thank you guys so much for the work that you do, for coming on and sharing with the podcast.
