MSPs spend heavily on incident response after security events, but data from 50,000-60,000 monthly watch minutes shows most people actually want soft-skill training. Combining communication skills with incident prep before a crisis hits creates teams ready for the real pressure.
Chapters
We talk a lot about the practice of incident response, being ready for it, that when we shift into a right of boom side of the fence after an incident, we gotta be ready, right? And that's so good. I think MSPs have spent so much time on that. But Bob, you know what I was thinking about? When I go and look at Empath and I look at all the data on courses and what's being watched the most, out of 50,000, 60,000 watch minutes per month that we're seeing in the platform, the vast majority of it is soft skills. And so Bob, here I am thinking, huh, so soft skills are in crazy high demand. Incident response is crazy important. Why don't we marry the two of those together, right? And so that's exactly what we did. And so what we're calling this entire session, this entire pre-day, is kind of being this idea of like left of boom but right of mind. And so while we're left of boom, while we're in a good state, why don't we start to think about developing the skill sets that our people need to be prepared for when Rite of Boom happens.
