Hi, I'm Dr. Ellie Campbell at Campbell Family Medicine. One of the common reasons why people come to see me, even if it's not their chief complaint, it becomes evident as we explore their history, is fatigue. Chronic fatigue bothers so many people. They feel as if they're just running their whole day through molasses. They're getting their work done, but it's exhausting. They have so little energy left at the end of the day to meet all the fun stuff that they want to do. They're just completing obligations. Well, We've learned through 30 years of trial and error seeing patients that there's prob five common things that really result in fatigue. One is toxic burden. Whether that's mold, toxins, chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, flame retardants, a toxic burden that fills your bucket can overwhelm you. Another one is mitochondrial insufficiency. Mitochondria are those little organelles inside your cells that make energy. If they're poisoned or don't have enough nutrition, you can't get enough energy to run your day. The third reason is inflammation. Lots of inflammatory triggers. In our lifestyle, we change your diet and give you anti inflammatories to help control them. Another one is nutritional deficiency. We can blood test, urine test, identify nutritional deficiencies and correct them. And the final thing is neuroinflammation. A lot of us have brain activity that's just not quite balanced. I have ways to test and treat every single one of these conditions. If you're suffering from chronic fatigue, Dr. Ellie Campbell would love to see you at Campbell Family Medicine. I can help you feel your best self.
