If you're an ecommerce brand running Google Ads, the one thing that you should never forget is how you actually buy your own products. Too often we're actually marketing our own products, we can forget how we actually buy products. And I want you to think about it right now. How often do you click on an ad and go to a website and make a purchase on the very first day? Quite often you don't. I know for me right now, I've got 3 different products that I'm looking at that are sitting in my cart, and they'll probably be sitting in the cart for the next week or 2 while I complete some extra research. And for one of those products, I'm just waiting for them to drop their next deal because I know they run a sale every September. This becomes to a really, really important point when it comes to Google Ads is that yes, they click on your ad today, but they may not buy for sometimes days, weeks, or even months, and in some cases even years. So just remember, if you're getting frustrated that you're not seeing that instant reaction with Google Ads, that it's not the way that people buy products, including yourself.
