Use Claude to Create High Converting Landing Pages for Google Ads

Aaron Young shows how to build a high-converting landing page in ten minutes using Claude. One client saw 126 views generate three $1,500 sales after updating their page, versus 1,100+ views yielding only four conversions before. The tool scrapes customer pain points from Reddit and TripAdvisor, then generates headlines, authority markers, and ready-to-copy HTML code.

In this video, I'm going to show you how you can build a high-converting landing page in 10 minutes. Now, that's not just some hyperbole hook to get you watching. It's something I actually did 2 weeks ago, and it's drastically improved the performance of that page. Now, I'll show you those real results real, real quickly, but I wanted to explain to you why this is so important. For many of you who watch my channel, you know my channel is all about Google Ads and how you can use it to grow your business. But you need to remember, with Google Ads, not only do you need a well-thought-out and structured Google Ads campaign, an offer that converts, you also need a landing page that converts. And this is how important landing pages are. You can have a subpar or an average Google Ads campaign. You could have targeting issues, it could have poor ad copy, but if it's sending people to a high-converting landing page, it will still see some level of success. Yes, it could be improved by improving that Google Ads campaign, But the reverse is not true. If you've got the most perfect, beautiful Google Ads campaign that's ever been created and it's sending people to a poor landing page, it won't convert. And that's how important landing pages are for Google Ads. Now, this process which I'm about to show you, obviously we're looking at from a Google Ads angle, but the process I'm going to be taking you will work for any landing page, whether people are coming in from Google Ads, another paid media source, or even organic or email traffic. And the reason for why you can do it in 10 minutes is because what I'm about to show you is a Claude tool that we have built, which takes all of our frameworks and everything that we know is what's needed for success with Google Ads. It not only writes and creates the page for you, you can also ask it to give it to you in a HTML code so that you can just copy it and paste it into your website. And that's what we did, and that's what saw the results. So because we wanna make this as practical as possible, let's jump into a screen share. Alrighty, before I take you through the process, let me just go through and show you the results through here. And what I've actually got through here is we've got a comparison. I'm showing the comparison of what, the last 10 days, because that's when we made the change to the page, looking back at the results from the start of the year. So I want you to really, really focus in on this page through here. And you can see even this page with only 126 views since we did the update it's led to 3 direct sales, and that's for a $1,500— this is all in US dollars— $1,500 a year program. So it's from those 126 views, it's already generated those sales, whereas from the previous, they're over 1,100 views there, there was 4 conversion actions. But really importantly, that only yielded $141 in revenue. So really important to note here too, we didn't change anything about the offer, we We didn't have any price discounts running. It was purely about the landing page being changed. The other thing that you can see from here is that we saw a really large increase in the engagement. So from 47 seconds up to 1 minute and 15. So that's some really clear evidence that we knew, we know that this is working and this has seen some really, really positive results. So now let me take you through how we did this. What I want to show you is that this was created with one of the 5 optimization tools that you can use for Google Ads inside of Define Digital Academy, which is created off all of our frameworks. There's 5 different ones that you can use. I'm going to be showing you the Landing Page Expert one today, but this Keyword and Search Term Audit tool, which also goes through and gives you a SWOT analysis for your total Google Ads account using your own data, you can actually get for free. And if you'd like to access it for free, all you need to do is to follow that link in the description below. You can see the Claude version there. Uh, we'll also— I'll also add the link for where you can see the Gemini version if you prefer to use Gemini. But that's something you can get for free just for following me on YouTube. But the tool that I am going to show you today is only available inside of our Google Ads Mastery program inside of Define Digital Academy. And this is why I'm so passionate about it. So what we're going to do here is I'm going to take you through the process that we went through last week to make the changes to the landing page, and I'm going to show you how it ran it. And then we're going to do a live, and then I'm going to go through and do another one, show you how quick it can be, and that's going to be for one of our other businesses. So you can see from here, I'm going to show you how this works. It went through and gave us a full audit, which we could go through and have a look through here. So it gave, gave us some scores. It gave us some different options that we can go through. It was also giving us the HTML code that all we need to do is to go through, copy this, and then we were pasting that inside of our custom code element on the website platform that we are using. Now, we found it easier to do this in sections because we had some other elements that we were keeping on the page. So you could ask it in one, but all we had to do is just in those different sections, go through and copy that HTML code. And that's why I'm saying you can build it in under 10 minutes. Let's now go through and do a live review of our other business to show you how this works in practical terms. So where you need to go to is that you go into the Landing Page Expert, open it up in Claude. Once again, remembering that for the free version, you only get access to the keyword and search term audit. Go through, press go. Now If you're still on the free version and you don't have this, this is still going to be powerful to watch because what it's going to do is it's going to break down for you what are the type of things that you should be looking at and how to go through and do this review for your own business. So firstly, we're going to be putting in through here. I'm going to write that this is something else because it is a Villa Resort, and then it's just going to ask you what is your current conversion rate, the landing page, and the customer personas and demographics. So I've got all this information in from here. So we're going to write this in through here. We're going to say it's a 2% conversion rate. We're also looking at that, that's their landing page. And then our customer personas for this one is generally honeymooners. Okay, so now that we've put all that in, that's going to go through and it's going to— while it— now the way that we've gone through and set this up is it's not also pulling in the data from the landing page, it's also looking for customers' pain points. The way that it does that is it goes through and looks at different things like Reddit forums. In this case, it'll also look at forums like TripAdvisor. And then what it's simply looking at doing is it's looking at matching those pain points to make sure that we're calling it out in our landing page. While that's running, let me explain to you the 5 core elements that you need for any landing page. Now, this isn't things that I'm saying. A company here in Australia called, called Testmate actually ran over 10,000 different user tests, and what they found was is that landing pages that had these 5 core elements performed much higher than other pages that didn't have these 5 elements. The first one is, is you needed a strong headline and subheadline, and more importantly, what that headline needed to do is it needed to really reaffirm to the user that they are in the right place. So that headline needs to be about the person, the customer, not the business, and it needed to really give them that peace of mind that, hey, this is what I'm looking for, or this is the problem that I'm solving, and I'm in the right place. Number 2, they needed a very clear call to action that they could see right at the top. So essentially what the user needed to know is you needed to give them the next step, and whether that was if you wanted them to book directly directly online, you needed to tell them that straight away. Or if you wanted them to give you a phone call or contact you for a quote, or if you wanted to buy, all of those things needed to be really, really front and center. Now, the other thing that was interesting there is that you may have a couple of different contact points, or you may have some different options, but they need to be all related. What I mean by that is you may be asking them to give you a quote, and if you don't care whether they fill out the online form or a phone call, That's okay for both of those to be above the fold. But what you want to do is you want to focus your, your highest priority conversion action, and you want to make sure that it is plain and simple as soon as they land on that page. Number 3, you need a clear, easy-to-read design. We actually had this the other week where we were looking at a review of a website, and it was a beautiful website, but the problem is, is it had too many animations and too many pop-ups, and it was just a confusing message. When it comes to landing pages, what you really need to think about is that at its core, there's really two different types of websites. There's a flashy business card, and then there's just a problem-solving website. Problem-solving websites always perform better. Yes, you need some great imagery. Yes, you need to make sure that it looks modern, but you don't need it to be the flashiest website that is ever seen. Keep it focused on the customer. Now, as you can see, the audit's already been completed, so let me quickly tell you about the last two things, remembering Strong headline, clear call to action, simple, easy design. You also need to have your authority markers or your testimonials. This is especially true if they've never dealt with you before. What you want to be doing here is you want to remove that fear of them buying with you or inquiring online. The ways that you can do that: Google reviews, TripAdvisor reviews, different awards that you, you've won. And then finally, above all else, you need a very, very simple checkout process. You need to make sure that there's no limitations for them to either give you a phone call, fill out a form, or buy your product online. Remember, if you don't currently have access to this tool, there are the 5 key elements that you need for a high-converting landing page to use in Google Ads. Now what I want to show you in through here is that— that was about 3 or 4 minutes— it's done, gone through and given us this whole audit. So what it does at the top is it pulls out the main customer pain points, and this is where it saves so much time. Now historically, this could take 1 to 2 days for you to be able to go through and reach and look at all of the different review sites, look at all different customer portals, uh, look at site sites like Reddit to try and find out what are people's pain points and why are they not booking. So you can see from here, it's, you know, we've got the trust scam, the photos versus reality gap. There's nothing worse when you're going on a holiday, you see the photos, then you rock up and it's nothing like it. Privacy, the staffing, cancellation. So there's all the different headlines. And so what we're looking at through here then gives you some really clear recommendations of what headlines you can use or what subheadlines you can use in order to improve your website. Now, the thing to know is you don't need to use all of these, but it gives you some ideas. Then it also does go through some, some practical tests. So we can see this page actually fails the 5-second test. And what that is, is that there's just not clear messaging. Remember what I was saying, the guest needs to know that as soon as they appear on the site that you are solving the problem they are looking for. It then also goes through the simple design and usability. It then goes through the, the authority markers, then goes through the removal of fear, and then it goes through the easy checkout process. So it runs through those 5 core themes that I spoke to you about before: your headlines, your easy call to action, your easy design, your authority markers, and then finally the checkout process. And then from there, in this case, it's given us 14 different things that we can go through and make changes on the page, and it's also given us the expected impact and what effect it'll be. And then from there you can go through back and forth with Claude to make those extra changes. And as you can see here, you can actually request it to add, give you that HTML code so that you can make those changes directly on your website. So thank you so much for joining me. It's been an absolute pleasure having you here. Remember, if you wanna get access to that free keyword research and account SWOT analysis tool, and you'll see links for both the Claude and the Gemini option. And if you'd also like to see how you can improve your ad copy, cuz remember with Google Ads, it's not only about having a great landing page, you also need to make sure that you've got ad copy that compels them to click on your ad. I want you to go through and watch this video right here. Hey, thanks so much for joining me. I look forward to seeing you next time. See ya!
