How to Create an Automatic Discount in City Hive

So once again, let's start here. From the dashboard, we're going to want to go to the promotions menu. From here, let's click on Discounts. And from the discounts menu here in the top right, let's click on the plus icon and click on Create Automatic Discount. Now, from the Create Automatic Discount, you're gonna give your discount a name. So let's see. 30% off of whiskey, or you can make it anything you'd like. Just make sure it describes your discount really well. Same here with the rule description. And you can actually do a discount two ways. You can do it on dollars or you can do it on percentages. So if you wanted dollars, put in a dollar amount here with a dollar sign. If you want to do percentages, you can click on that and then put in a percentage amount when the percentage sign comes out. So from here, once you're done, click on save and continue. And if you think this applies to you, just check it. And there's lots of options here to choose from. If it does not apply to your discount, you don't need to check it, just click on save and continue. One of these that you might want to use is category and products. So you can actually specify what products are on discount and you can also put a minimum amount that they need to buy to get that discount. So it's very helpful something to keep in mind. So just click on save and continue. Save and continue. Save and continue. And at the very end, just click on Create.
