Alden Morris demos an AI platform that runs deep research for liquor store owners while they work the floor. Ten specialized agents scrape multiple sources to answer questions like "What are the top 10 whiskeys of 2025?" and generate downloadable research documents, not just quick answers. The feature is rolling out to beta merchants now.

The one thing that a liquor store owner doesn't have is time. And so while we originally were, oh, we have a kiosk, we have it on your phone, 24/7 assistant can help your employees and yourself and just themself help be able to find any sort of products they're looking for. We actually want to push past that and we want to go into the larger business operations. And that's exactly what we did. So this is where our agents, tools, Agentic Flows come in. And what I wanna show you today is the simplest of that, which is just a deep research question. So what do I mean by that? Let's start it up and I'll show you exactly. I'm a big whiskey fan. So what are the top 10 whiskeys of 2025? Whereas in a normal LLM, it's just gonna do a single call and just give you really quickly what the answer is. We have it hooked up where there are certain triggers and instances where it's going to give you the option to do deep thinking. So what it's doing right now is doing the, the pre-research to give exactly this. So this is, these are all individual agents. And so when we hit this start research, we have 10 agents and it's gonna cost us about this amount of tokens. When we're gonna start this, it's actually gonna do the research into every single one of these sources. So I love just watching it go analyze. And so what it's doing is, as opposed to giving you just a really quick and simple answer, it's doing further research and then it's going to be synthesizing it and giving us an output. While this is a rather simple question, you may not use it for this. You may use it for something like, tell me about all of my nearby competitors, um, or something like that. We'll still give this one a try. So you can see we have an answer. What it's gonna do, it's gonna give you a really quick one. And then here's the cool thing. So we're calling these artifacts and overall these are just documents, which when you open it up, you can see the full answer. So everything from the research. So you can see where this starts to get really powerful. You can download it, copy it, amend it, so you can really interact with these documents as well. And that's, you can see the power there where you start to compound this. And this was the simplest of our agentic flows, which is just put a bunch of the same agent and just dig further into a question. So overall, this is, we're rolling it out to all of our beta merchants so they can test it out and we can really push the bounds of this and really excited for this to go live for everyone.
