Russel Brunson, Client Ascension 2023 Event & ListKit Update - Members Lounge Special

Dan, Christian, and Alex Hormozi discuss the ClickFunnels event, a podcast tour, and their Client Ascension event. They cover event logistics, community building, and marketing strategies while sharing personal stories from running these gatherings.
I say that, like, shamelessly. Like, we really do have the best community out there. Like, there's nobody in the corner. That's, like, weird not talking to everybody. Like, everybody's having a good time. Nobody's, like, above one another. Everybody's just shooting the shit.
I feel like it's worth sharing what Taylor's creative told us.
Yeah.
All right, what's going on? Welcome back to the TikTok podcast. Unfortunately, guys, to break the news right off the bat, Dan has left the show. So it's just Christian and I, but we figured we're just gonna throw it in Dan's face by having our biggest guest on the podcast ever, Mr. Alex Hormozi. Welcome to the show.
What's going on, guys? Appreciate you having me.
Welcome, man.
No. Happy Halloween. I don't celebrate Halloween. So did you give me my energy is not just. It's just not here right now.
It's a hundred million dollar cigar.
Yeah, yeah. No, this is $100 million lighter, actually, at this thing. This thing's thick, bro. Sheesh.
I hate to say it, but just being around you guys, it's very evident you haven't made close to $100 million. Not even close, bro.
True, but no. It's Halloween. So Dan's dressed up as Alex Horosi. If you couldn't tell Christian, explain yourself what you dress up as on here.
I'm a. A traditional Bavarian male. This is how people in Germany dress for October 1st.
They say a mammal male.
Oh, male.
He.
Him?
I thought he was just a bloated leprechaun.
That's who I got the traditional Oktoberfest fit on. I didn't want to buy a costume, so here we are.
Yeah, this is a weird Halloween. Honestly. Doesn't feel like it.
In what way?
I don't know.
Expecting.
We're 23 years old. I think Halloween isn't that big of a deal anymore.
Kind of was looking to have more fun, but, yeah, we got a lot to talk about. So anyways, this is actually a members lounge episode, which we haven't done in quite a while. We've been super busy with events, events, events, events. And so that's what this episode is going to be about, is events. We're going to tell you all there is know about our event that just happened this past weekend here in Tampa and all the other events we were at as well, leading up to it and all the events we plan to be at now as well coming up. So event season, basically, it just is what we've Been in. So let's go all the way back to the Clickfunnels event because I feel like that was the first event that got this event season started where we went to Orlando, Florida for Russell Brunson's event, mainly just to accept the award where we made one of the $100 million that you expected us to make. So you guys talk about your takeaways from the Clickfunnels event. Honestly, I went just to get the award, but I thought it was way better than I had expected. Like, it was just a lot of fun.
Yeah. When I first met Russell back in like 2018, I was scaling up gym launch, got one of those plaques, threw it in my two by two closet, which was pretty cool. Until I realized that Kylie Jenner was making more money than me and that really pissed me off.
So, bro, you do watch a lot of hormozy content. Like the way you could just rattle off like the things he says is quite impressive.
Yeah, I literally just been method acting as her mosey for my whole sales career. But no, I mean, I feel like we went to the event for the same reason. Right. Just to get the picture up there with the award, but also because we knew we had a bunch of events coming up. It was super cool just to see how they operated it at such a scale.
Bro, it was like a concert.
They had concerts there. They had like full blown. I don't know how much merch they sold, but they must do at least six figures and merch alone.
Yeah.
And obviously Russell's just like, he's OG of Internet marketing in general. I feel like everybody got started on Click Funnels, has taken at least one of his courses. But my biggest takeaway from the event, honestly was that you want to have a theme of some sort. There was like the whole linchpin thing. Almost everybody there talked about Instagram. It seemed like. And like my takeaway, obviously it's pretty easy for us to have a theme at our events because we're talking to such a similar audience. Like, it's not super diversified like it is there. It's like all agencies was just. Yeah, if you, if you have one theme, it makes an event more effective because everybody's speech kind of builds on each other.
Yeah.
And it also helps you market the event.
What do you think the theme was of our event based on feedback? I know the answer, but I want to see. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's Lyric Team. Everyone at the event in the post feedback or post event feedback form was like. Yeah, like takeaway. I Need to build a team. I need partners. I can only go so far on my own. And like every presentation, I don't even think it was kind of planned that way, but it just built onto that, which is pretty dope.
My biggest takeaway from click Funnels is that paid ads is the great equalizer. Like, people that are not extremely business savvy make a lot of money because they just spend a ton on paid ads. Like, we're always wondering, like, how can I scale further? Like, people there were spending 80k a day on paid ads or like a month or whatever.
But yeah, I don't think you're not business savvy if you're doing that. It's super hard to hit that level. Running it profitable.
People with more inferior offers are doing more money because they run paid ads. It's just mass distribution.
Yeah.
Like, oh, how can I get this cold? Like, cold email is like. Even Eddie Maloo said it, like, paid ads is the way to go from 50k to a mill a month, you know, so.
Yeah. And it kind of just helped us to realize, like, our offer is good enough to go as far as we have with organic. Like, imagine how it's gonna skyrocket once we figure out paid, which was cool. But yeah, I had similar takeaways at the ClickFunnels event. Again, like, they're really just to get the reward or the award. What's the difference between a reward and an award?
A reward is like something that you treat yourself with, I feel like. And then an award is something you.
Oh, because you can reward anybody, bro.
I feel like you were prepared for that question.
An award is like. An award is a physical item of reward, is like an idea.
Think about it. Think about it.
It's right.
I feel like they're quite literally synonyms. It's just an award.
Like, an award is a piece of hardware.
An award is a piece of clickfunnels award.
We went, we accepted it there. I didn't attend really any of the con. The. The conference. Like, the speeches. Right. Like, we talked. We saw a little bit of like Neo Davis's talk where he just went through like an award strategy, a prize.
Or other mark of recognition. Surprise.
Same thing. Anyways, yeah. Like, I wasn't really there to go to the speeches. The only thing with like click funnels specifically that turns me off is just like, it's always a sales pitch at the end. Yeah. But anyways, like Dan was saying, from a business owner and someone who runs events, like, from that perspective, it's super cool to see how they put together such a massive event. Like 7,000 people going to one event in one hotel with all these speakers. Like, how do they do it?
We need awards at our next event.
It's. It literally means the same thing. A thing given in recognition of one service, effort or achievement.
Why is there two different words?
Why is there two different words? They're synonyms, but just make it one word.
Yeah, we. I think two things. Yeah, you have to have like the main theme, like linchpin. Right. That was like the main attraction at the Click Funnels event. And then the second thing was the award. Right. Like most people were at the event to accept their award. And so that got us thinking, like obviously it was too short notice for client ascensions event that was this past weekend. But we need awards.
Cigar box.
Cigar boxes, trophies, whatever it might be. And someone even mentioned this in the type form for the post event feedback for our event. And they're like, it'd be cool to have like some sort of community recognition segment at your next event. And so if you guys have any ideas for that, let us know in the comments. We're open to ideas. Something cigar theme would be pretty dope. Another.
The cigar box would be a dope award.
Yeah, we had some pretty fire cigar boxes at the event. We should have brought one for like the table, just as the aesthetics. But anyways, yeah, the Clickfunnels event was a lot of fun. What else? Any other memories from that event?
That's it. We can keep cool Hotel.
Go to the next one.
Yeah, big hotel.
All right. Big hotel, bro. That thing was. Was massive. It was like this Marriott hotel and they had the entire hotel basically dedicated to the event. That was great. That was cool.
Yeah.
And this is something that Eddie told me too at our event is he's like, anytime he does an event, he rents out the entire place always. So like that was a difficulty we ran into with our event where like we had like a room and then it was like right next to like a wedding. And then hair on when we were doing like the. The breakouts, we were in like two separate towers because we couldn't fit everyone in one place.
Yeah.
And so like going forward, just rent out like one venue so people can kind of just go wherever and still be part of the event and everyone.
Will be around for like the bar after. Because I feel like I Click Funnels, everyone just hung out at the same bar and.
Yeah, that's true. You can do like block booking like you do for like a wedding. When everybody's staying at the same hotel.
Exactly.
Good point.
So that's something we gotta. We gotta do. And so, yeah, so it was ClickFunnels event, which was about a month ago at this point. And then right after that event the following weekend, we did our first ever podcast tour, Stick Talk podcast tour, which is marathon. An absolute marathon, bro. That. That. That trip left me feeling like dead.
That was seven podcasts in two days.
Was it seven or eight?
Seven.
Yeah. So we drove in on Friday, had Louis Bossy for dinner, which can't go wrong with starting a trip with Louis Bossy, and then just ripped seven podcast episodes in two days, really? In like 24 hours. So it was not spaced out at all. It was like one podcast, clean up the set, go to the next. So that's what was so tiring. I think it's like, first off, Dan had to drive us everywhere, so he's probably the most tired. And then Scott was probably Saturday afternoon.
And then Sunday morning.
Yeah. So it was like, crammed, right?
Yeah.
And then Scott had to like collapse the set and then build it back up at like, a brand new location that he saw for the first time. And then we had Kai there, shout out Kai, who like, basically, like, produces and markets the show. Who. A lot of people now are learning more about Kai after the Client Ascension event as well. But that was a marathon. We interviewed who was. It was Adam Sosnik was the first one who's. His episode is running up currently. I think he's at like 15,000 views.
I don't even know what our Saturday.
It was Adam Sosnik, which was cool. We got to see valuetainment. What was actually talk about that for a second. Like, people were asking why we're at valuetainment Studios. What do you guys think?
Thought it was dope, man. Just having your own, like, compound to have your team at just like people direct dialing on a Saturday.
Yeah, that was the biggest thing. Just seeing the sales team in there working on a weekend. It's like, we need an office. Yeah, it's like the. The boilerplate environment, dude.
And the merch in there. Oh, my God. Like, if we get. If we just keep going, we'll get gifts and buy stuff for the office and it'll just look baller.
Yeah. I'm trying to think their culture is so strong or something like that. Their culture is so strong at valuetainment. Not only are these guys hustling on a Saturday, but Scott's asking what. What they said. I can't remember the word. But it's like you ask them how they're doing and they're like unstoppable, like on cue. And like, not to make fun of them by any means, because I think it's like when people talk about culture, like the most powerful cultures are really like a cult. And that's kind of like.
That's exactly what Eddie said.
Culture.
They can recite the values anywhere.
And that's why they're so effective and they're making so much money and they're so happy. But it was just weird. Like you walking out on Saturday, you're like saying, what's up to like, this person at the booth. They're like, I'm unstoppable.
Weird.
I was like, whoa. Like, all right, cool. We're going to be doing a podcast in here.
Wasn't going to stop you trying to get to the bathroom.
Not looking.
And they have the sickest fucking podcast studio I've ever seen.
Oh, yeah.
In a bank vault.
Yeah, it was cool.
Baller.
Yeah, that was fire. So we interviewed Adam and then what do we do? We did the Trump cmo, which was really cool. Got to have a little bit of a political debate for the first time on the podcast.
And I got some questions about that at the event.
You did?
Yeah.
Like what?
Oh, do you really just like. Do you really not like Trump or are you just playing it down the middle? I was like, I don't really like the guy. No, I don't. I don't fanboy over him.
That's what I was saying too. It's like people thought you were playing like a character on the interview. I was like, no, this is like how Dan is always. It's why the conversation is always good. So that was. That was a good one. And yeah, we just did the Miami podcast tour. It was just insane because we. We did seven interviews in seven different locations within a 24 hour time span. And I thought all the episodes were pretty high level. We're pretty solid.
One of my big takeaways, especially from the Adam interview that's currently getting a good amount of views. We need more subscriber cta. So, guys, if you're watching right now, like, and subscribe, please take a moment. It seriously means a lot to us. Cuz obviously this stuff isn't cheap, right? Getting the cigar bar membership going Miami.
Weekend was expensive, bro. That's what I'm saying.
It's all expensive. So, like, the more that we can keep doing this, we do it for fun. We lose a ton of Money on it. If you just take three seconds, Scott's laughing cuz he's getting paid behind the camera.
Let's set a goal. Let's set a goal.
What's the goal we're at?
What are we at right now? 3.68. We're going up pretty good right now. I say at 5k.
Let's get 5 by the end of the year.
If we get 10 by the end of the year, I'll shave my head.
That's.
If we get five by the end of the year, I'll dye my hair blonde, actually.
Okay, that's. Are you for real?
If I. If we hit 5k by the end of the year, I'll dye my hair blonde.
For how long?
Until it grows back black. What do you mean?
I don't know how that works, personally.
That'd be far.
That'd be hilarious. 5K. I'll dye my hair.
That's like, not unrealistic at all.
1400 more.
That's 1400. I think that's how many subscribers we got off of Just Ties episode. Yeah. So we just need one of these episodes to pop off. Or people who watch frequently and are just too lazy to, you know, move it that side and click the button here. But so, yeah, subscribe to the show. We really appreciate it. And allow us to keep doing these episodes that you guys clearly love because you're watching it right now.
Ah, the nice. Doesn't work. Either subscribe or stop listening altogether forever.
Damn.
Yeah, I guess it takes one second. It's free.
All right.
Outside of that, I think another Take the podcast weekend. Yeah, yeah, it just. That's too many podcasts.
Too many. Yeah, I said the same thing because one of the things that I hate Back to backs.
We did back to back to back to back.
Yeah. I think one of the things we just did not do the best job on was like, research before the podcast, like, knowing who we're actually sitting down with. And a lot of those episodes, like, at times it's just hard, bro, to compute, like, the next question you want to ask when this is like the seventh story you're trying to tell in 24 hours. But having Kai on the team was super helpful. Kai did an amazing job of, like, preparing, like, quick summaries and stories and reports and questions that he thought would do well, especially, like, on a YouTube algorithm level so that we didn't really have to spend time doing research ourselves. And I think that's important to have, again, like a team. Going back to the theme of the Client ascension event to help you with small things like that. Because we. We even talked about this in the Stick Talk Slack channels. Like, we just need to focus on being good hosts. And, like, while we're sitting here recording, like, we just need to be the best host possible. Everything else, we have a team in place to handle it. And, like, that's what it's there.
We got a lot of great feedback on, like, the Thai episode. Like, oh, you guys are great at listening and not interrupting.
So, yeah, with the Adam one, it shows. Like, obviously there's an album.
Yeah. Someone had such a mean comment, bro. I was close to crying.
I'm. Which one?
I'm Adam1.
What they say?
He was like, dude, this is a fire podcast. The only thing that's annoying about you guys as hosts is, like, the little laughs and cackles and, like, I'm like, he's talking about me, bro. He's. I'm, like, always cracking up, like, in the most awkward ways. That's just me, bro. Fuck off, right?
Minus one subscriber.
Exactly.
Minus one.
Yeah, I'm subscriber. I don't even care.
Back 76-99-9234. It's always. It's always, like, the accounts just make Tik toks, bro.
You'll be bulletproof to.
No, I was. I was joking. I just thought, those hair lords.
I don't even have a bad hairline.
You wait till it's blonde. That shit's gonna be translucent.
I got a comment about my hairline on my tik tok. I'm like, that shit's fine, bro. I have a big head. You can say that, Scott. Should we turn the chandelier on?
Yeah, for lighting, you think? Anyways, okay, so podcast tour Miami. I thought that was overall success. That's the first time we've done something like that. I'd do it again. I think next would be somewhere like Scottsdale. There's a lot of good podcast guests out there. I know we're going for another event, which we'll talk about later on. I just don't think it's the time to do a podcast tour while we're there for the event, but any other locations in mind? I know Christian's been dying to do a Vegas one.
Yeah, Vegas would be good. I also love. We got to get, like, Hunter Weiss in New York and Casey Neistat, maybe, please.
Yeah. It just depends on the quality of gas. Like, I'll travel wherever, but.
But I think New York will be good.
Like, if you're gonna travel I mean, obviously, if it's like Tate and Romania, we'd go just for that.
But I'd probably cap it out at like three a day, though, with, like, a good amount.
Three still a lot.
Three is a lot. That's not three is a lot. I think two max is max. But again, like, one thing we have to do better next time around is just research. Like, I think the reason the Tai Lopez episode was so good is because all three of us spent time researching in research for podcasts. Really easy. Just listen to them on other podcasts. Yeah. And you start to get an idea for, like, their story and how they talk about things.
Yeah.
I really do think that's why Ty's episode was so good is because, like, we did not have, like, any misses in terms of, like, he said something and we were like, oh, where do we go next? It just float.
But we never really have, like, a pause. We know where to go. It's just not always the most in depth conversation.
Yeah. Yeah. You just don't know enough about the person where it's like you don't know where to lead it next. You kind of just keep going. Like, there's been guess where. It's just like business, like, super niche business talk the entire time. And it's like, kind of gets old, at least from an audience's perspective. But hey, you guys are the ones that really matter. So let us know feedback, give us a rating in the comments, how we are as host, the questions we ask, and what we can do better. But moving on. Podcast tour was crazy. But then what? What's next to Client Ascension? Event.
This event.
This event.
The best event of all time.
The best event of all time. I do think it was our best event by far. I think we. We. We did a really good job with it. So just for some background, we have a coaching program called Client Ascension. Dan's wearing a hat. Or Alex is wearing a hat. I'm wearing a hat. So one of the things we did at this event was merch and a whole bunch of other things, which we'll talk about. But, yeah, this was our fourth event, so last fifth event, technically. So just for. For some history.
London 2amp.
Just for some history. I'll run it back for you guys real quick. So last summer, we're like, yo, there's a bunch of really cool people. Let's just have an informal meetup in Tampa. I count that as our first event.
Yeah, right.
Fun.
And so we had like 16 or 17 guys from the program fly out to Tampa from like London. And we didn't do anything.
We just drank.
We just drank. We took them out to a nice dinner and then we got a table at Bar Howard.
Such a fun night.
And it was like the most fun weekend ever.
Yeah.
And so we went from doing that with like 17 people, I think in July of last year to throwing a 100 person event in October like three months later. And so that was our second event. Third event was like a scaled down event in Tampa, which was like a podcast event. Live podcast slash, town hall with like 40 people. Yeah. Which was nice. I definitely do one of those again. And then after that we did an event in London which I think had like 80 people.
Yeah.
And then we ran back the annual conference in Tampa just this past weekend in October with I think we had like 120 this year. And so those are the five events, right? Y. Yep. And so, yeah, what do you guys. What was your favorite moment from the weekend? Or top three? Because there's a lot.
The boat.
Yeah, I would say Taylor.
Eddie Taylor Boat. Taylor Boat. Hosting my panel.
Hosting your panel. So tell them a little bit about your panel.
Yeah. So it was all about just turning virality into cash and clients and business and personal brand because had Cardinal Mason, who crushes it on Tick Tock and does a lot of money on webinars from Tick Tock.
Click here or somewhere here to watch our episode with Cardinal Mason. You know how they could do the things on the screen.
Had Alex Hayden, who also does really, really well on short form on Instagram.
And click here to watch the episode with Alex.
Does. Really, does really, really good with his agency and his. I guess he runs like a fund of SAS companies all from his Instagram. Ryan McGinn.
Click over there to watch the episode with Ryan McGinn on stick to.
Basically invented the short form content style that you guys all know. And he's like a savant with hooks and content and going viral. And then Ben Bader.
Click back here to watch the episode of Ben Bader on the Stick to podcast. Works with a lot of the personal.
Brands that are viral. So I think it was like the best assortment of subject experts for the thing we were talking about possible. And I got to host it and I think I did, you know, a pretty good job and letting Ryan McGinn.
Dude had the high up chair. Yeah, yeah.
I mean it was like 10 minutes till my panel. I'm like, we don't have any chairs. So me and Elias like went in the back room and found some chairs. And they were shorter than mine. You know what?
It's fine.
The host should have an elevated chair. Whatever.
It was fire. I like the aesthetic of it, but.
Yeah, I mean, just like Ryan giving people in the audience real time advice on stuff. A lot of people had good feedback on it. I was proud of it. So. Went really well. And yeah, I always love leading up to my panel. I'm always nervous no matter what. I don't know why. And then when you get up there, you just, like, settle in and it's fun.
So you're nervous to do your panel?
Yeah, dude. Whenever I'm in front of somebody speaking, I get nervous, like, oh, bro.
Yeah, I might. My pants. But, like, the panel is the best because you don't have to do it. Do nothing.
Well, I mean, like, introducing it even. I didn't even introduce any of the guys. I just started, but like, yeah, I.
Was about to bring you up on stage, and then you're just like, right next to me. I'm like, let's go. Like, I don't gotta do.
Yeah.
An intro myself.
Like, if a video gets 10 million views, I'm like, oh, whatever. But if there's 80 people watching me, I'm like, but, yeah, that was fun.
And then the boat.
I mean, I. What I say about events is, like, events and personal brand and brand in general. Separate businesses from other competitors. Just because like I said on the panel, you know, if someone's choosing between five different businesses or offers, they're going to choose the one that they resonate with and trust. And we're just building a massive trust moat around everybody else.
So how cool is it to have your mom at the event?
Oh, that was awesome. Yeah, she was my mom. Got to learn about. I should have said that was my favorite part. And I'm an. But that was AJ's favorite part. Come on, bro.
All right.
While Andre's recovering.
Just swallow the ball of smoke, bro.
That was so.
That was a guilty.
That was out of left field. I just, like, swallowed the smoke with the cigar.
I would never go there. But, bro, that's terrible.
Christian, bro, you're roommates with this. This guy. Yeah. Yeah. You have a. You have an excuse. Alex Hormozi, you dog. Go ahead.
We're good. Oh, which pulley's here?
Oh, hold on. We gotta get a pin.
All right, time out.
No, that's my fault. 6926. Thank you so much.
Nice. But yeah, having my mom actually understand what I do for a living was pretty cool. Cuz I Always just say marketing. She's like, all right, cool. That's about it. So that was really awesome. She was super proud of me. Yeah, it was awesome, man.
I mean, it's crazy because for her, like, she's just hearing you, like, give her updates on like this coaching program you're building, and it's like very hard to visualize what that looks like if you're not in the space. Yeah, bro. She was just like on the outskirts of like the event the whole time. Just like, like mesmerized. Like, what is happening? Like, what is this?
She's like, these. This many people trust my son to run their business. I'm like, I don't know either, mom.
Yeah, I don't know either.
But no, it was really cool to see have her witness all that we've done on an impact level. So that was cool.
Yeah, love it, bro. What were yours?
I said, Eddie, Taylor and the boat.
Thanks.
Thank you.
So I feel like we all love the boat just because it's a good time. I feel like you got to have a good time at the events. Like, people are doing it to learn. It's a business write off, but they're also making a vacation out of it. Like, people are coming from Australia, from Canada, from the uk, from New York, from Ohio, from California. Like, they're trying to have a good time realistically. And everybody had a good time on the boat. Like, we just have such a good community. And I, I say that like, shamelessly. Like, we really do have the best community out there. Like, there's nobody in the corner that's like weird not talking to everybody. Like, everybody's having a good time. Nobody's like above one another. Everybody's just shooting.
I feel like it's worth sharing what Taylor's creative told us.
Yeah, yeah. One of his videographer, he was like, dude, we go to a lot of these events. Like, this was probably the most well run one that we've been to all year. And this is a guy that goes to major business events nonstop. And he was like, you guys have just built a great community.
And him and Taylor later, I don't know if it was later or before that, but they told me that that was Taylor's best keynote.
Oh, really?
That he's ever delivered. And Colin Schmelbeck, who's in Taylor's like high end mastermind that goes to his events every quarter, also said he's never seen Taylor like that, which is pretty dope.
It makes sense as to why he's so good at Sales. Because you just drop him in every. Any environment. He's just uber comfortable.
Yeah, he can read the audience so well.
Yeah, yeah, he's got a personality unlike you, Alex. Dick.
I just like to work.
Oh, cool.
We do have Chipotle right there.
Little timer to 20 minutes. Go.
All right, now Alex isn't gonna come on the podcast.
Good.
To come to our next event.
Good.
No, if Alex was sitting in the seat, Andre be the biggest fanboy ever though.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Look, I don't like Tate. If Tate was here, you'd be like, oh, my God, it's Tate.
My least favorite part of the event was how everyone call me Layla Hormozi almost forced me to walk off stage. But wait, are you done? Sup, babe?
No, I'm not done. I could talk about our community for hours, but yeah, that, the boat. And then the last thing that I said was Eddie just Eddie's a great dude. So Taylor was gracious enough to hang out with us after on the boat, but Eddie also came to the VIP dinner beforehand and he's the same exact way, just super down to earth and just talking to everybody. Giving away free value. Yeah, like when you, when you pay for a speaker, when you get like a higher end speaker to come through, you're kind of worried that they're going to be like, holier than thou and just like in, out, not to talk. That was the exact opposite experience with both Eddie and Taylor. So I just, I loved it and appreciated it.
Yeah. And like I said when I introduced Eddie, he was the like, highest level speaker there. Like, obviously Taylor Welch is the headline, but Eddie's like a high level speaker. Yeah. Who people pay to come to their events. And he was like, no, I'm not gonna charge you. Like, he was like, I'll come for free. And there's like a story behind that where like my background is I'm Lebanese. Eddie Maloof is also Lebanese. And that's kind of like the. The connection. But he was nice enough to come for free. And like you said, not just come for free, but like, really make an impact on the community. Like answering questions, sharing value, giving discounts to his event that he's January, which we'll talk a little bit more about. So it was really cool. Yeah. I think my favorite part of the event was definitely the boat. And for a different reason though, because for me, like all weekend, all I'm thinking is like, what's going to go wrong next? Yeah, cuz like, I'm like the logistics guy, Trina and I shout out to Trina, she's just.
Chipotle orders up.
What happened?
One.
No. Yeah. Are you for real? So I was just talking about how nothing went wrong and then everything just went wrong. Our Chipotle order is missing 75 of the order. And then I just spilled water all over my seat. But anyways, yeah, the reason I enjoyed the boat so much at the event is because I didn't have to worry about something going wrong. So like from Thursday, which was team day, to Friday, which is VIP day, to Saturday, which was the event day, there's just so many logistics and so many people involved that I'm just thinking like, worst case scenario, like what happens if this happens? Or what happens if this happens? Like even on Friday VIP day, we show up to the park or like ready to get set up and like the park ranger comes down, is like, where's your permit? And I'm like, what? They're like, you need a permit to be here. I'm like, to work out with like a group. They're like, yeah. And I'm like, all right, well, that sucks. So we had to like, figure out a new location. So. Yeah. Anyways, the boat was nice cuz I didn't have to worry really about anything. And the boat was just a lot of fun. We had cigars, we had the open bar, the food was bomb. And it moved, which was surprising to everyone apparently. And yeah, that was a great part of the event. And then really just like for me, Christian interviewed me up here on VIP night, just asking me more about the event, which was nice. And it was really about like seeing the vision come to life because you put all these things on paper, like the event agenda and like the order of how things are scheduled and you kind of have an idea for how they're gonna play out, but not really. And so just being there and kind of just seeing everything unfold was cool. And I remember a specific moment on the main conference day where you were speaking to introduce Taylor, like to the stage, which was like, I. I was like, it'd be really cool if Dan introduce Taylor because he's got a really cool story and you'll see it in the event replay like the whole story of how we got introduced to Taylor when we first started an online business, and how he like saved our business from like dying essentially. But I was just, I was looking at Dan, like thinking of like where we were in that moment, and then like not even Dan and Taylor in the moment. It was just like everyone in the audience just like Repping our merch. Yeah, like, dude, that's the coolest thing ever. Yeah, like, I'm taking a picture and it's like, in the picture, there's just client ascension. Client ascension, client ascension. Just like all these people from all over the world repping our brand. And yeah, it was just cool to see the vision come to life.
That was the only time the whole weekend that I got nervous.
Oh, bro. I was gonna say that the one thing for you specifically is like, everyone is like, oh, what does Dan do? Or like, who's Dan? And they're all like, bro, why doesn't Dan do more content? This dude is like the most well spoken out of anyone in the group. Like, your sales panel, the introduction you get for Taylor was just like, so perfect.
Content.
Devin told me that he was like, bro, we gotta start working together.
Yeah. Yeah, dude. Like, it was so good, man. It was so good. For like the one in the group that doesn't do any content or like outspoken videos or whatever is like, well, I do.
I just don't do content. I talk all day though.
That's true. Like, sales, Sales. But yeah, it was just so perfect, bro. You crushed. But yeah, so many people came up to me, they were like, dude, like, does Dan know how good he is at this point? Like, no, but I'm be sure to tell them, like, yeah, you got to do more content, dude. You just have like the natural, like the loud, authoritative voice and you speak very clearly.
That was one of the best thing. Like, the most rewarding things for me was just getting super good feedback after the workshops on the VIP day. So a lot of people are like, holy, dude. Like, that advice right there is going to help me make X amount more money in my business. Yeah, that's what it's all about. Right there is like, you see these people at where they start in the program and then you see them there in person. Like tens of thousands of dollars richer per month. We had, like a small piece of that success. I feel like that was the coolest thing. Like, we always talk about, like, this keynote, that keynote the boat. It's just great. But the more events that we do, I feel like the coolest thing is just going to be coming back and seeing where somebody is a year from now. Like, camera. Obviously a very good.
I was gonna say that was another one of my favorite parts was we kind of had that. Right. Like my panel specifically, I had Presley there because he met his business partner at last year's event. And then Oliver as well, because we met him at the event last year who partnered with us on this kit. So, yeah, like, next year, it's just gonna be the same thing, but to a bigger scale.
Yeah. It was, like, the first event where enough time has elapsed so we can actually see, like, those success stories in person.
Yeah. I also think there is an important lesson there for, like, the feedback that you got and, like, your ability to speak on stage and, like, deliver value to our audience. It's like, a lot of people want to just create content first before building the business and learning the skill set. And, like, you've kind of taken the reverse approach, which isn't very popular. And I don't know if there's a right or wrong way to do it, but I think the way you're doing it just makes you, like, right away an authority.
It's like the Luke Belmar approach. He talks about that. What is the story of bamboo? Yeah.
Like, grows below the ground or something for, like, the longest time.
Yeah. I think it's like, once it's actually, like, breaks ground, it just grows, like, four.
Yeah. So it's like you've been preparing really, for, like, being able to help these guys.
I think who made a video on that recently might have been Dakota. Talking about, like, a lot of people say, first you need to build, and then you can make content. And a lot of people will say that first you need to make content and, like, build in public. He's like, both of them are right and wrong.
That's what I was going to say. There's no right or wrong.
You risk. You realistically should just be doing both at all times.
Yeah. Like, Gary Vee is all about documenting.
Right.
But again, I think it's. It gives you, like, a really strong starting point. Yeah. The event was up. What do you guys think? Was something we can definitely improve on next time around or do differently. Last year was like, oh, we need to make this two days, which I think we nailed. Y. I think we could even make it three days, but I don't think that's something we did wrong necessarily this time around. But what was it for you guys this year?
Probably a little bit more rewarding the students with an award.
Yeah, I think that'd be a nice time, I think.
Yeah. Just giving out, like, selfishly, it is good marketing, but, like, rewarding people for what they've accomplished. And then maybe some sort of excursion, like a golf. Golf ski, something like that on a bonus day.
Yeah. How about you?
Recognition. Like I told you at the VIP dinner the night Before I wanted to change up the whole podcast. Like the our story.
Yep.
And just make it like completely based on the students. Which I. I end up thinking that we did the right thing by keeping it as our story thing. Just because so many times throughout the weekend people ask like, how did you meet Andre?
How did you meet Christian?
Which I. I end up thinking that we did the right thing by keeping it as our story thing. Just because so many times throughout the weekend people ask like, how did you meet Andre?
How did you love that, by the way?
I was like, okay. Like it. It was probably good that we finally got that recorded and we only have.
Like an hour anyways.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's probably good to wait until we have some sort of like physical award to hang out to, to hand out to with like tears of some sort. Like, hey, I reached 50k a month, my agency, 100k a month of my agency, 150k a month with my agency. I sold my agency, whatever. Or like even like most improved award. You, you look at somebody like aan, I try to give him a little bit of recognition.
Yeah.
At the end of ours. Just by telling that funny story of my Instagram.
Yeah.
But like most improved, not in like a derogatory way, but like the guy came into the program making short form content having no idea what he wanted to do. Now he's doing over 40k a month with a YouTube organic offer. And like every single thing that has transpired, he's been inclined ascension for.
Yep.
So just like also like awarding those people because that person right there that we can also point to and say like, look what we did for him and mark the out of that case study selfishly, like, that's the reason why we're able to put on the events.
Yeah.
In the first place.
And then I think the AV is taking a major leap. But I think we could even go crazier. Like just have like a intro scene where it's like a panoramic of Tampa with like someone speaking over and it's like the dark night music. Like, like.
Yeah. Well, I did not expect so many people will be watching live. Yeah.
A lot of body it though.
Yeah. So one thing we definitely improved on more than anything was content this year. Like, and we invested. We had like five times the amount of people that we had last year for the content. So like we had videographers, photographers, Elias for av. Like we went all out on content and you'll see that. And you probably are already seeing that on Twitter and on YouTube but one of the things we did was we live streamed on the client Ascension Twitter account and then me, Daniel and Christian's YouTube accounts and like combined by the end of the day on the event day, we had like over 10,000 views, which is over 100 times the amount of people who are in the actual room.
Way more now. Let me see.
Is that crazy to think about 50k? And so that was. Yeah, I think we nailed that this year and it's really just about doing that again next year and for following events. And I talked to Cam who does a lot of the in person stuff for guys in our space, and he said he's never walked away from an event with this much content. It's just like stupid.
The amount of 88, 58k views right now.
Yeah, that's like impression viewers.
Yeah, that's impressions on Twitter views.
No, no, but that's just.
Oh, okay.
How many views? And then that's just.
There's like 5,000 between the other YouTubers.
Yeah. So it's crazy. Like that's really how to capitalize on an event like that. I think the one thing I was thinking about it a little bit and I even did the post event feedback survey which was super helpful. And by the way, like the feedback was so positive, people loved it. But I think what people really want is more space. It still felt rushed even though it was two days, especially the main conference day. The.
The by the end people were fatigued. Like Taylor revived the room, but not even just fatigued.
But we had the rush to the point where in the beginning, like Daniels was mostly Q and A. Yeah. Yours and eyes. There was no Q and A from the audience.
No, I didn't want to have time because people are kind of like insecure when they're talking about sales metrics. I'm like, I'm just going like Taylor revived the room.
But not even just fatigued. But we had the rush to the point where in the beginning, like Daniels was mostly Q and A. Yeah. Yours and eyes. There was no Q and A from the audience.
No, I don't want. Cuz people are kind of like insecure when they're talking about sales metrics. I'm like, I'm just going like straight sauce for 30 minutes straight. I'm not asking any questions.
Yeah, I really just think straight sauce.
For 30 minutes straight. I'm not asking any questions.
Yeah, I really just think more time, just allowing more time. Not just for like more content but for people to get up and more time, just allowing more time. Not just for like more content, but for people to get up and connect with other people.
Yeah.
Because I think that's important. Like instead of sitting through like three panels in a row, it's like a panel and then like half an hour break. Like the breaks in between were great this year. It was definitely improved upon from last year. There are way more breaks and like time to hang out and chill. But I think we could connect with other people.
Yeah.
Because I think that's important. Like instead of sitting through like three panels in a row, it's like a panel and then like half an hour break. Like the breaks in between were great this year. It was definitely improved. The improve there. And then the other improvement would be I agree with Christian, like an excursion or an experience.
Yeah.
I'm already talking with Abby about like a, like doing a concert at the next one. I think that would be fire. Like hiring like an actual.
I said comedian bro.
Comedian would be like right after lunch.
Have a funny comedian.
Yeah, like a comedian. Something like that would be fun from last year. There are way more breaks and like time to hang out and chill. But I think we could there. So a lot of good ideas.
Easier workout for sure.
Was gonna say what do you guys think about the workout? Cuz that was my idea for the workout.
It was way too hard.
It was so.
It was fun. But like I was shot for the rest of the day.
Yeah.
Yeah. And my shoulders are still bleep this out. But like I, I, I'm still worried somebody's gonna come back back. I tore my Achilles. Like I'm suing you guys.
Still improve there. And then the other improvement would be I agree with Christian like an excursion or an experience.
Yeah.
I'm already talking with Abby about like a like doing a concert. The next one. Yeah, hopefully not. But yeah, that was a lot of fun. It was, it was definitely like od.
Yeah. I threw up. That was the first time I've thrown up since high school football during the work.
Crazy. Yeah. So the idea was, okay, we're going to be talking about business for two straight days. Let's start off by going to a nice park outdoors in Tampa. A lot of these guys are from up north and think that would be fire. Like hiring like an actual.
I said comedian bro comedian would be.
Like so they just really appreciate being outside. And then let's also get a workout in and like challenge ourselves.
Lunch. Have a funny comedian.
Yeah, like a comedian. Something like that would be fire. So a lot of good ideas. We did the workout.
Easier workout for sure.
As online entrepreneurs who spend all day, you know, at the computer to like, work out and yeah, it was a little over the top, but I loved it. I loved it.
I loved it. Like, after I threw up, I was. I got clarity again and realized I wasn't going to die. But the. The 150 yards of bear crawls was a little bit much.
Yeah, that was. That was a lot. I was going to say, what do you guys think about the workout? Cuz that was my idea for the workout.
It was way too hard.
It was so hard.
It was fun, but like, I was shot for the rest of the day.
Yeah.
Yeah. And my shoulders are still want to bleep this out. But like, our team won though.
Just.
Just wanted to put.
Andre tried celebrating like they wanted. It was like I didn't want to.
I thought you guys were going to do something insane. It's the punishment.
Nah, we had to make that easy because if I was in that position and had to do a punishment after too, I would have been like, you dying? Yeah.
I knew we didn't win, but I like figured, you know, I have some ability here to rig things. So it didn't work out though.
I. I'm still worried somebody's gonna come back. Back. I tore my Achilles, like, oh, I'm suing you guys.
Yeah. Hopefully not, but yeah, that was a lot of fun. It was.
You guys also definitely cheated. We were like two people ahead and then somehow it came down to the last sprint.
Oh, well, we had one less person. Oh, yeah.
So we won with more people.
So we didn't cheat. We just had one less person.
Yeah, we just had athletes on our team.
You guys did. It was not fair.
Anthony. Dude, that guy runs like a gazelle.
Oh, my God. That guy's a beast.
Yeah.
Who was the cool. It was definitely like od.
Yeah. I threw up. That was the first time I thrown up since high school football during the work.
Crazy. Yeah. So the idea was, okay, we're going to be talking about business for two straight things person. Not to pick favorites or anything, but what was like the coolest interaction you had?
Talking about conspiracy theories with Taylor Welch on the boat. That was pretty crazy. I love, like Matthew Larson and Ryan Hildebrandt, bro. They're just like autistic, but they're hilarious.
They're just geniuses.
We were like doing a thing like, who could survive the longest swimming off the boat, just like without drowning.
Let's start off by going to a nice park outdoors in Tampa. A lot of these guys Are from up north and slight.
Stupid as shit. Ryan Hildebrand said he tried to swim the English Channel.
That's wild.
He didn't do it. He tried. He failed.
Yeah, it's wild.
Like, you probably paid a lot of money for that.
It's a wild attempt. Yeah. So they just really appreciate being outside. And then let's also get a workout in and, like, challenge ourselves, I think, for sure. Antoine, bro.
Yeah, Antoine Anton.
I was just thinking that he doesn't say much. He's just, like, chilling.
He's just cool. He's just kind of doing him.
Yeah, he loved it. He was. He was chilling. As online entrepreneurs who spend all day, you know, at the computer to, like, work out and. Yeah, it was a little over the top, but I loved it. I loved it.
I loved it.
Like, I think that was one of the best things we did, though, is just getting as many of the team members. Yeah, because you just.
After I threw up, I was. I got clarity again and realized I wasn't gonna die. But the. The 150 yards of bear crawls was a little bit much.
Yeah, that was. That was a lot.
Our team won, though.
Just.
Just wanted to put.
Andre tried celebrating like they wanted. It was like I didn't want to do.
I thought you guys were going to do something insane. It's the first.
Nah, we had to make that easy because if I was in that position and had to do a punishment after, too, I would have been like, you dying? Yeah.
I knew we didn't win, but I like to buy in. And they also get to experience, like, the work that they're doing. Like, Antoine set a lot of the guys that are now, you know, at the event and getting value. So it's just cool to see. But biggest learning from the speakers.
We need to start acquiring people.
Go. Go into that a little bit real quick.
Like any Maloof scales by acquiring other.
Figured, you know, I have some ability here to rig things. So it didn't work out, though.
Agencies and then implementing Legion and sales and letting the fulfillment team do their thing, I think we would be. You guys also definitely cheated. We were like two people ahead, and then somehow it came down to the last sprint. Really good at that also.
Yeah, I feel like we've done well up to this point, hiring people based on their potential. But to scale the next level, they said that's exactly what you don't want to do. You want to find people that are excelling in the position you're looking for. At a business that's like three oh.
Well, we have one less person. Oh, yeah.
So we won with more people.
So we didn't cheat. We just had one less.
You have five exercise of yours. So I feel like just doing that and making sure that, you know, next time I go and hire a salesperson or like working at a seven figure a month group coaching program themselves would probably be the main takeaway for me because both those guys, Eddie and Taylor, said the exact person. Yeah, we just had athletes on our team.
You guys did. It was not fair.
Anthony. Dude, that guy runs like a gazelle.
Oh, my God, that guy's a beast.
Yeah.
Who is the coolest person? Not to pick favorites or anything, but what was like the coolest interaction you had?
Talking about conspiracy theories with Taylor Welch on the boat. That was pretty crazy. I love, like, Matthew Larson and Ryan Hildebrandt, bro. They're just like, autist, but they're hilarious.

He didn't do it. He tried. He failed.
Yeah, it's wild.
Like, he probably paid a lot of money for that.
It's a wild attempt. Yeah, I think, for sure. Antoine, bro.
Yeah, Antoine. Antoine.
I was just thinking that he doesn't say much. He's just like, chilling.
He's cool. He's just kind of doing him.
Yeah, he loved it. He was. He was chilling. I think that was one of the best things we did though, is just getting as many of the team members.
Yeah.
Because you just get the buy in and they also get to experience, like, the work that they're doing. Like, Antoine set a lot of the guys that are now, you know, at the event and getting value, so it's just cool to see. But biggest learning from the speakers.

Go. Go into that a little bit real quick.
Like Eddie Maloof scales by acquiring other agencies and then implementing Legion and sales and letting the fulfillment team do their thing. I think we would be really good at that also.
Yeah, I feel like we've done well up to this point, hiring people based on their potential. But to scale the next level, they said that's exactly what you don't want to do. You want to find people that are excelling in the position you're looking for at a business that's like three to five exercise of yours. So I feel like just doing that and Making sure that, you know, next time I go and hire a salesperson, they're like working at a seven figure a month group coaching program themselves would probably be the main takeaway for me because both those guys, Eddie and Taylor said the exact same thing on that front.
Yeah. Yep. I think similar. I also think again, like stressing like team and business partnerships and creating some service within client ascension that's like almost like a matchmaking of like these guys that are solopreneurs that don't really know who would be a good fit for them to partner with. Like, we could kind of facilitate that for them. So it's something we're working on.
It's going to sound corny too, but just the speed in which those guys move was also just a massive takeaway for me because Adi started his whole keynote and he was like, yeah, like the, the blood, sweat and tears wasn't always like, this took me a long time to get that way. Then he started a slideshow and it was like 2020. I'm like, bro, it's not that long. Like 2020 to 2023.
That's three years. 20 million dollar a year agency.
Yeah, like, we've been doing this, we've been doing the agency since the same exact amount of time.
Five years.
Not really. I'm saying, like in its current form, like with Knowledge X, which is what I'd say. Like, this all started since like summer 2020. So he got started literally six, seven months before us. And then at dinner he was just like, yeah, dude, like, pressure's always on. Yeah, like, pressure's always on.
And I think one guy that's really helped us with that is Oliver on this kit side. Yeah, he's just always pushing, Always pushing.
Yeah, he's always making like another milestone.
Yeah, let's hit xmr. I'm not gonna say it, bro.
Like today. Yeah, we don't really share Liz kid numbers, but I went on a podcast today, so I feel like it's now time to start sharing a little bit. So we hit 100 KMR today after like 111 days of launching Liz Kit. And so we hit 100K MRR. And then Oliver's like, let's keep pushing. And then we could hit 111k mrr in the first 111 days. I'm like, bro, just chill for a second and enjoy it. I was like, well, like you said, he's just coming up with new milestones. It's like day one 11. It's like, what about 111Mrr. Yeah, I'm like, bro, I love it. I love it.
Like, you have to constantly shift the goalposts.
Yeah, just be a lib.
Be a what?
Just be a lib and move the goalposts all the time.
Just do the second part. But yeah, you can still move the goalpost without being a lib. But yeah, I think it's just keeping the pressure on for sure. But yeah, that was, that was a great weekend. There's again, like I said, tons of content all throughout social media, on Twitter, on YouTube. There's going to be a whole lot more that we dropped over the next couple of weeks and really months at this point. And so stay tuned for that. When you guys think what, or I guess what do you guys think is a good cadence for Events Quarterly? Quarterly.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Not a giant annual event like that. I feel like you can do that maybe twice a year.
I think once a year, like what we did once. But this weekend some event.
Quarterly.
Yeah, like an excursion focus event. Like a ski trip or something like that. Or a golf trip.
Yep.
Yeah, more low key. Or like an international one. I was thinking that like an excursion, an international and then the annual conference.
Imagine like everyone at a golf mastermind gets to the room and there's like a polo, a hat, a golf tee, a towel.
Oh, two more things to hit on for anyone that's throwing events. I'll just give you the sauce. I think the experience, the whole ways is what's most important. Right. And I think the two things we did this year that really just set it above and beyond were merchant in cigars. Like, first off, merch is high level. Like, that's the number one comment and feedback I got was like, dude, this merch is like actually good.
Yeah. You have to make it something people actually want to wear.
Yeah. And like people are wearing it all over. Yeah.
And if you. Yeah. If you do spend the extra money to do that, it's free marketing for the rest of the, you know, next two years when people wear the.
Yeah. We had planned to sell merch because merch was only supposed to be for VIPs, but we just gave it to everyone for free.
Yeah.
It's like we just. It's like you're all a billboard for us now. Yeah.
Felt like the right thing to do.
Yeah. So that was cool. The merch was super high quality and the cigars were dope too. So I think those were two nice touches that we added this year as well. Yep. So what's next? We got a couple more Events coming up.
Web Summit, two weeks.
Scott, real quick, how much time do we got? 50. 50. Probably like 10 minutes.
Probably 10 of its garbage. Not 10, maybe 5.
It's like 2 minutes rapid fire Web.
Summit in the next events.
And so again to keep this like event themed, we just had the Client Ascension event as we talked about. We have a whole bunch more events coming up as well that are not Client Ascension but have a lot to do with all the businesses we're running. So next up is Web Summit which we went to last year in Lisbon, Portugal.
Great country.
Great, great country, great city, great event, great food. Last year we went for, for a company that was not doing well at the time and is now just no longer in business and we still had a great time. Now we're going for Liz Kit which is like just absolutely like trailblazing and so what are your guys thoughts? Web Summit Hype.
That's it. I'm hype.
I'm just going there to sell. Like I don't want to enjoy myself. I don't want like, I just want to find a bunch of hormozy classic.
I love it.
I, I mean that's the whole point though.
Well, that's why I'm excited for this year's because we actually have something to sell that we can explain.
Yeah. Last year I got so many for a service that just wasn't great. It just didn't have product market fit. It wasn't the best service.
Yeah.
But no, I'm excited for it just because a lot of the people are kind of going there. They're building the next AI, whatever the next Web3 mechanism. They're kind of hat in hand just looking for funding. We have the luxury of not having to be in that position. So I feel like we have the advantage. We're just there for customers, acquiring customers. Yeah. Like we can talk to a high level VC and be like, oh, we don't, we don't want your money.
Yeah.
I mean if you want to talk about telling us about the businesses you already work with and how we can support them.
Yeah, let's do that.
That'll be so fun. Like going up to a booth and actually having a good offer to sell them.
Like do you want leads? It's like the best offer too and the easiest to facilitate and deliver.
Yeah, like oh, we, I'll give you double credits if you sign up right now. Like they sign up week back end, double their credits.
Yeah. And we created like a custom landing page for 100 free leads instead of 50 yeah. And we rented, like, a monitor for our booth so that people can just, like, come up to it and, like, play around with the software. It's gonna be fire. And then Daniel's coming this year.
Yeah.
And not only is he coming, but he's gonna be the one pitching in front of 11, 000 people. And so that we have to get.
To that stage, right?
No, I'm pretty sure. No, like, he's pitching in front of 11,000.
I think you have to get. That's, like, the final round, I think. Think I remember last year, I was in, like, the tents where, like, we're there, bro. Yeah, we'll get there.
We're there. Speech just hasn't been given yet.
Yeah. So that'll be fun. We'll keep you guys updated on how that goes. Again, we're posting a bunch on socials, so Christian's got his Tik Tok. I'm on IG and Twitter. Dan is on Twitter.
Mostly I'm on Twitter, bro.
What? I know, but I'm giving him your main sauce platform. True.
Here's how you make money at web summit.
So, bro, I'm looking forward to those bubble waffles, bro.
The crepes.
The bubble waffle with the Nutella.
Oh, yeah. At the food truck outside of website.
The breakfast in the hotel is elite, bro.
The food quality in Lisbon is so good.
Really good.
Walking to an outside cafe and getting cappuccino and a croissant.
Yeah. So we got that coming up in mid November, and then at the end of November, we have our first ever event for Cole Gordon's Mastermind, which I'm hyped for. That's in Scottsdale. It's at, like, a casino resort, which is. It's cool because that's something we could probably consider doing as well. Like, how cool would it be to do a client ascension event at a casino resort where people can go, like, lose all their money? You know, Mastermind, like, the Hard Rock.
That'd be sick.
You do it at a casino that also has, like, a golf course. There's a lot you can do. So I'm excited to see how they do their event, but also just learn from them, because we have.
We should do one at Turning Stone.
Oh, that'd be cool.
Syracuse airport's pretty easy to get to.
Yeah. Sheesh. So we got the Col Gordon Mastermind, which was, like, a super expensive thing for us to invest into. I think that's the most we ever spent on coaching. I think we spent, like, 70 grand to invest In Cole Gordon's Mastermind, which is like a year long thing, they do quarterly events which are more lowkey cuz they don't got a ton of people that pay him 70 grand for the year. So I'm excited for that.
I am too. I mean I'm meeting with them, I'm talking with them, I'm looking at their content on a daily basis now. So it'll be cool to just meet these guys in person. Like Mitchell, Temple, Cole. Yeah, all three of those guys, their voices are just like burned in my head at this point. Yeah, it'll be good just to meet up with them in person, shake their hands, talk about what's working, what's not. And I'm excited for Scottsdale in general. Everybody says. Such a dope city.
Yeah. Yep. That's one of the events that's like the only event on calendar right now where we're going to like just actually learn and implement.
Yeah.
Like not to host, not to sell, but to go and learn. Yeah. So it'll be cool. So that was in Scottsdale. And then we got Eddie Maloof's event that we've talked a little bit about going to in Atlanta. I think it's called Agency Founders. Agency Founders in Atlanta in mid January. So a couple of the guys were talking about going to that. But like overall events are just, it just makes what we do so much more fun. Just something to look forward to. And it's a trip, it's. It's an experience. I think it's needed to have it, you know, in the rotation. Yeah. Maybe not as much as we've had it now like in this season because it's like every week at this point.
But I've had the wildest travel schedule in my life since like September.
Yeah. But I feel like once we're done with Eddie's, there won't be another one for a while.
That's what we think. And then there just will be.
I know, but it's Q1. It's gonna be so busy.
Yeah, yeah, we'll see. But yeah, events are fun.
We gotta host another one of our own and Q1 at some point. Probably like March.
Yeah. Like before Easter was a good timeline for last year's event. That was nice. So yeah, guys, Members Lounge updates on what we've been up to. You've been seeing a lot of high level episodes and interviews, so keep tuning into those. We'll try to record some more Members Lounge for you guys. After Web Summit, after Cole Gordon's event, after Eddie's event so you guys can get all the learnings that we get as well. And really, again, we're just looking for feedback. First, subscribe before you scroll because you'll pass the subscribe button before the comment section and then leave a comment. Let us know your thoughts, your questions, your feedback, your ideas, things you'd like to see more of. Things you'd like to see less of. And that's really all I have.
Yep. Like and subscribe.
Thanks for watching and tune to my channel. Apply to become portfolio company if you want to. Alex Hermosi Appreciate it. Exact same thing on that front.
Yeah. Yep. I think similar. I also think again, like, stressing.
