Andy Neary delivers a short motivational YouTube monologue using Colorado's rapidly changing weather as a metaphor for business challenges. He advises entrepreneurs to adopt three daily words — "Be consistent, be persistent, and be patient" — arguing that showing up daily, persisting through uncontrollable conditions, and playing the long game are essential to grow a brand or business.

Listen up. I want to share with you a message that Mother Nature is teaching us right now that could help you in business. If you're like we are out here in Colorado, Mother Nature has been really interesting lately. On two separate occasions in the last couple weeks, we have gone from 70 degrees one day to snowy. And in the 20s just two days later. Mother Nature has been anything but consistent. And it's so easy to let it bother you. It's so easy to let it get you angry. But you have to persist. You have to just deal with what you have. You can't control what you can't control. And you got to be patient. Because here in Colorado, if you just wait a day or two, it's going to be in the 50s and 60s again and the snow will be gone. So that's my message for you right now. If you are in business, if you're trying to grow your brand, if you're trying to grow your business, your bottom line, here are the three most important words you need to add to your vocabulary. Be consistent, be persistent, and be patient. You have to show up every day and be consistent with what it is that makes you successful. You have to persist no matter what the market gives you, no matter what Mother Nature gives you. And most of all, you got to be patient. Listen, you're not going to be an overnight success. No one is. Those people on social media that tell you how to become an overnight success are full of crap. You have to be patient. You have to play the long game. So be consistent, be persistent, be patient. If you follow those three rules, those three words, I promise you, you'll grow your business exactly the way you know you should.
