Andy Neary says AI will split consultants into two camps: those who use it for rate calculations, meeting prep, and presentations, and those who don't. The ones who combine AI efficiency with real consultative skill will pull ahead. Client relationships still matter most.
AI is leveling the playing field and it's going to separate the consultants from the brokers. The consultants who know how to leverage AI from rates to setting up for meetings to preparing for finalist presentations so they can use their consultative expertise are going to absolutely separate themselves from the pack in the future.
Well, I think the relationship becomes the most important thing.
Yeah.
I mean, the one thing that I think will never go away is the relationship, the judgment call, the person on the other end of the phone that actually knows your business. the empathy. If you can pick up the phone and have a good consultant who knows your business at the other end, that's never gonna go away.
