This is a YouTube video titled "Are you making it easy for prospects to hire you?" containing a monologue or single-speaker talk recorded in July 2025. The speaker discusses the importance of having clear and simple processes to facilitate client onboarding and business relationships, emphasizing how complexity or lack of process can frustrate potential clients and hinder referrals.
I think the thing it comes down to is processes. Do you have the processes to make it easy for me to hire you? I don't care if it's digital. I don't care if it's in person. Whatever it is. If you make it easy for me to do business with you, there's a good chance I'm going to do business with you. And I know that sounds obvious, but Guffey, you'd be surprised how many agencies make it hard for people to hire them because their process is so convoluted. Or there is no process. And by the time I become a client, I'm already frustrated because there were no expectations set. I have no idea what it's going to be like to work with you. The onboarding process was all over the place. It's the processes of how you make it easy to do business for you that is, to me, the secret sauce of building a relationship with you and creating that wow factor, which makes sure not only am I never going to leave you, but I'm going to start referring my friends to.
