Preparation is the number one key to your success in giving powerful presentations and impactful talks. Can you truly say that you are prepared 100% of the time? You are asked to talk. Asked to speak. You see, when you're not prepared, it's obvious to the audience. When you're on stage rambling without any message, it's obvious when the PowerPoints accidentally lock up and you have to pause. You see, preparation is in the process. Practice. It's in the preparing to give the most impactful presentation you can. And here are three things that you need to start doing to become more prepared in giving impactful talks. Number one, start by figuring out what it is your audience wants to hear, not what you want to tell the audience. Number two, outline your talk. Outline your presentation to have the takeaways and the stories that you want to share that are going to create the message that are going to create the impact for your audience. And number three, practice. You have to practice your presentations, you have to practice your talks. Talk to any athlete in professional sports. They don't get where they are without practicing day in and day out. Speaking and presenting is no different. And listen, the shorter the presentation you have, the more practice you have to put into the presentation. So I hope these top these tips help, these cues help to help you give better presentations. Because the next time you're asked to get on stage to give a presentation, you don't want to make it obvious that you're not prepared. You want to hit it out of the park so you can impact your audience, connect with your audience and call them to action.
