If you are new to the LinkedIn.
Community, I want to help you out.
I'm going to share three tips today to help you kick off the week.
So if you are using LinkedIn content to grow your following, grow your connections, I want to share three things you should avoid at all cost.
Watch what others are doing and then.
Do not emulate these behaviors.
Number one, automated messaging.
Don't do it.
It's so obvious it's automated. It's so obvious it's not you.
The number of automated invites I get in my inbox every day is staggering. You know how you know it's automated.
Second, you accept the invite, you get a message, and no, I'm not interested in bitcoin trading. And the number of B2B lead gen pros out there now is amazing.
If you're going to use automation, at.
Least make sure it sounds like it's coming from you. Number two, no spray tagging.
What do I mean by spray tagging? Tagging is when you put somebody else's name in the content and that allows.
Your content to be seen by their audiences. Nothing wrong with it.
But here's what spray tagging is. Number one, don't tag 30 different people in one post. And number two, absolutely, absolutely never spray tag or tag a second connection into a post.
Somebody you might not even know.
I get that all the time and this is not professional. The third, don't. If you're gonna reach out and connect with somebody on LinkedIn and then they turn around and invite you to a.
Phone call or to connect in some way and you absolutely avoid them, why did you connect with them in the first place? That's like you walking up to somebody at a networking event, shaking your hand, giving them your business card, saying, I'd love to connect. And now they want to engage in a conversation and you walk away. Why would you do that? So Those are my three tips or my three don'ts.
For. For LinkedIn, I want to ask my community, what else would you add in the Absolutely do not do this on LinkedIn category?
Share below.
Let's add some content to the people.
Who are new here to help them start posting more effective content.
