This is a spoken segment (YouTube video) in which Andy Neary recounts the origin story of Complete Game Consulting. He explains leaving a 16–17 year career as a benefits advisor at age 41, recognizing his brand/reputation in the health insurance industry, and founding the company to provide training, coaching, messaging, and branding support for advisors, vendor partners, and agencies who lack onboarding and development resources.

So this is a really special spot for me because behind me is the Ginger and Baker restaurant here in Fort Collins. This is where Complete Game Consulting was born. It happened over a conversation at a mastermind that I was a part of, where I was challenged to take an idea and turn it into a business. Up until that point, I didn't have the guts to go out on my own. I was 41 years old, had been a benefit advisor for 16 or 17 years. But I realized I wasn't enjoying it anymore. Not because of what I was doing. I just knew I was here to do something bigger. I was here to coach, teach, help others have success. And most importantly though, I realized I had built a brand. I had established a reputation in the health insurance industry where I truly believe people knew me, they liked me, they respected me. So I that gave me the confidence to know that if I was going to go out on my own, I think I had a business to sell. I had a business to provide a value to others. And that's why I'm so proud of Complete Game Consulting is. It's here to solve a problem. I know when I got in the health insurance industry, there was no training provided. You were left out on an island, you were expected to just go make it happen. And it's still happening today. I see far too many advisors get in the industry. No one trains them, they're left out on an island and within two years they're burnt out and ready to get out. And Complete Game Consulting is here to close that gap, to help advisors, vendor partners, health insurance agencies that know they're damn good at what they do. They just don't have enough people knowing about them. They just don't have the coaching, the messaging that they need to build that brand, to build that business the way they want to. And so I couldn't be prouder of the business. It all started here at Ginger and Baker. And that's why I'm so excited to bring Complete Game to the health insurance industry.
