Hey. Hey. Welcome back and good morning. It's Friday Bullpen sessions. My name is Andy Neary and this is episode six. Let's talk about superpowers. Last night I was having a conversation with my girlfriend and we were filling out a book called our Q and A. It's a book that allows you to answer questions mainly about your significant other, every single night. And the question was, what is your significant other superpower? And she said mine was consistency. And when I asked her why, she said, because you show up every day, whether it's posting content, social media, whether it's doing the small things, grinding it out that you have to do to be successful in your business. You do it every single day. You get up and you just repeat that process day after day after day. And it had me thinking back to my baseball career. You know, a lot of you know my story. I was an undersized pitcher, did not have an overpowering arm, yet I got the chance to play professional baseball. Why? The number one reason why was my consistency. It was the work I put in when no one was watching 365 days a year. It was fine tuning my mechanics, it was honing my skills, it was hitting my weekly bullpen sessions day after day after day, week after week after week. The same is true in business. If you are out there right now and you're not happy with your success, you're not happy with your current career, you want more sales, whatever it is, it comes down to your consistency. Show up every day, do the little things you need to do to be successful. There are no overnight successes. There are no hacks, there are no silver bullets. It's about being consistent, being persistent, and then being patient with yourself that you will be successful in the long run. I look back at my baseball career. I got a chance to play professional baseball when I was 21, but you know what? I started playing baseball when I was three. It was an 18 year journey to hit that pinnacle. So give yourself some space, give yourself some patience. You're not going to be an overnight success, but if you focus on being consistent, being persistent, and being patient with your success, you will have the long term wins one year, three or five years from now, long after your competition has given up because they wanted the short term win. So go out and make it happen. Have a great Friday, a great weekend, and show up and just be consistent today.
