A business owner shoots video content in one take from a conference room, ditching his notes to speak naturally. He gets his team to do the same, finding that abandoning scripts makes the footage feel more authentic and requires minimal editing.
What have you noticed because you're putting yourself out there every day? How has that impacted your— you and your business?
I mean, it's impacted it a lot. And so I did that one video. I don't know if we posted it yet on how I create the video content. Mostly, I just go out, it's in the conference room using a whiteboard, 100%. And I have some notes that I read before I do it. And I throw the notes away and I do one take. Because if it doesn't work in one take, I go, well, you guys edit it for me. But there's not a whole lot of editing that goes on. I just start talking and it gets up here. And it's funny. So when I bring in team members to talk with me about whether it's the employee benefits, specialty property, they come in with notes. And they're like, okay, where'd I put them? I go, give me those. They go, how long you been doing this? Uh, 15, 10, 15. I go, you know what you're doing. Give me the notes. They're like, oh. Uh-huh. And, and by the time we're done, they go, oh wow.
