Are you owning your losses? Listen, there is nothing more addicting than owning your wins, but there's nothing more freeing than owning your losses. Early in my insurance career, I loved owning my wins. I love that pat on the back. They were few and far between, but man, it was addicting. I didn't want to own my losses though. Every time I lost, I blamed it on somebody else. My products, my territory, my boss. Now, when I started Complete Game Consulting, when you start your own business, shit gets real quick. You better own your losses or you will not grow. If you're blaming somebody else for your losses right now, you're not getting any closer to the next yes. However, if you own your losses, in fact, if you enjoy the no's, they're learning moments that are going to get you closer to that next massive hell yes. So that's my advice for you right now. If you're struggling, whether you own your business or you just own your book of business, quit blaming others for your losses. Own them. Because the more you own your losses, the closer you get to the next big win. Trust me, it works.
