Short YouTube clip (Andy Neary) urging viewers to invest personally in their own development rather than expecting employers or others to pay. Uses Omar Elatar’s story (spent his last $300 on a life coach) and Andy’s own move to Colorado/work at Vogt Bell as examples; issues a challenge to insurance advisors and listeners to self-fund personal development if they truly want different results.

Hey, if you are in my tribe, I want to make an invite to you. Don't come see me. It is damn cold here. No, here's the invite. I've put a link to a podcast in the notes above. I want you to go listen to it. It was done by my coach, Christina Lacure with Omar Elatar. And in the episode, Omar talks about how he was down to his last $300, but he wanted change. He knew he needed to change. So what did he do? He took the last $300 and he invested in himself. He sought a life coach and life and the rest is history. Here's why I share that. I've been having a lot of conversations with insurance advisors for the past 12 months. Insurance advisors who want change, they want better results, they know they need to change, they want help changing. But then when it comes to that two word phrase, personal development, they go to their employer to pay for it. I am here to tell you there is not a human being in the world who has had massive success who has asked someone else to make the personal development investment for. Heck, when I moved out here to Colorado six years ago, when I went to work for Vogt Bell, that's when my personal development journey started. And I can tell you, I did not go to Claire Volk and say, hey, Claire, will you make that investment in me for me? No, no, no, no, no. You need to make it in yourself. So here is my challenge to you this week. How bad do you want it? How bad do you want those different results? Because if you are in it for keeps or if you are here to play for keeps, you need to make that investment in you. That's why they call it personal development. So that's my challenge for you this week. Figure out how bad you want it. You know you deserve those results. You just got to go get out there and get them. But don't expect anybody else to make that investment for you.
